My friend ordered a grilled cheese lunch with tomato soup and she gave me half. It was cheesy goodness. We were given free coffee coupons and that's why we came again. Looking forward to returning soon!

HH special: $10 for wings and beer

Walked by on a Sunday and wanted a late afternoon coffee. Ended up staying for happy hour. Happy hour is available everyday from 3-6pm with $5 beers, $8 cocktails, or $10 Beer and Buffalo Wings special. Instead of the coffee, I ended up with an Espresso Martini, and it did not disappoint. Very smooth and well balanced in coffee and booze flavora. The buffalo wings came out fresh and hot, and it was mildly spicy, which I liked. Will be coming back soon to try more food and drinks.

I was staying at the Sheraton Grand for a night for Advocacy Day and decided to check out this dive just a half mile away. The happy hour called me and the food reviews were pretty good. I got the fish taco and it did not disappoint. The batter on the fish was crispy fried and the pickled vegetables on top gave it good balance. I ordered the Lake Tahoe cocktail and it reminded me of frozen drink at a frat party which is not really my speed. I would recommend instead getting one of the beers on tap, which is also just eight dollars on happy hour. There was an older gentleman who went around greeting folks who I presume was the owner. We were table of a super fey guy and a non binary Asian dyke and he was super kind and friendly. Overall, I would say that this is a good place for higher quality cheap eats and a bargain happy hour where you will feel welcome even if you are hella gay.

Went at lunch time during the week. We were actually driving to another place on R street but Twisted Track Station caught our eye. It had a really good vibe. The place is surrounded by art, especially since their Twisted Track gallery is next door. Love the layout, especially the outdoor seating. They played upbeat music that fit the ambiance. It was our first time there and the staff were patient and easy to talk to. The chicken wrap I got was tasty. The fries were fresh and crispy too. I also got an espresso martini that was balanced and creamy. Definitely getting it again. We tried their Pilsner as well; that was light and refreshing. Been telling my friends all about this place. We'll be back soon.

1: Amazing Tasty Huge Hamburger with Cheese and the salad (right amount) in it! 2: Affordable prices (most importantly) lol. 3: The owner is incredible & kindest man I've ever met, he's an art lover and the gallery owner. 4: The atmosphere is so calm and friendly with nice music! Thanks everyone who's involved in this establishment!!!

    Espresso martinis

Dog party and espresso martinis was a great way to spend a Sunday! Went to walk our dog around town and saw the nice patio and the sign for a dog party and figured we'd let our dog check it out. They've also got food and drinks so that was a plus for us! He's having a great time and so are we. The owner and employees were very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend checking this place out. They do a dog party every Sunday 10-2!!

We went during happy hour. Eight beers on tap. $5 pints and the food was good. Place looks great! I like outdoor seating and they have lots of stools out front.

Was drawn in from a push notification from Roc & Sol, a sister restaurant, for a special on food and drinks. Met the owners - they are very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Had the burger, tots with the gravy, and a Caesar salad, plus a few cocktails. Everything was delicious. Vibe is very down to earth, just our style. Great music playing overhead with baseball on the TV. Will definitely be back. The "San Francisco" Irish coffee is worth the trip alone, without having to travel to Ghirardelli square for a more famous version.

    Cerviche

Dropped in after work to have a drink and small bite while watching the World Series game. They had an extended happy hour special for Roc&Sol members which was great. Ordered the London (Expresso Martini) which was as pretty as it was tasty. I wish I'd had a tiny spoon because most of that very tasty foam was stuck in the cup due to its shape. Ordered the house made cerviche. It was good but the shrimp were cut in larger chunks which didn't work so well on the tostada shell (kept rolling off). They provided 4 tostada shells but there wasn't enough cerviche in that cup to make 4 so 3 at most would've sufficed. Had a well drink which was a nice size and nicely done. The bartender whose name I didn't catch (she recently moved to CA from Boston) was very friendly and did great on the drinks. The room isn't huge, which was fine, but my only complaint is it was a chillier night and they left the doors open when there were only a few people inside so it got a bit cold. That makes folks not stay as long so they may want to rethink that practice. There are three big screens, two had the World Series playing which was nice. One unfortunate design flaw was having the tall draft beer pulls in front of the middle of the screens which blocks the bottom of the screens. I will go again but either wait for warmer weather or wear warmer clothes.

I walk up to the counter and asked for the Mango Sticky Rice and the guy who helped me, idk what his name is had an attitude and was like we're out of it. I'm thinking to myself, sooo if you KNOW you're of something that's popular and on the menu, maybe you should put a sign somewhere stating that it's currently NOT AVAILABLE. Then I had to call back home to let my siblings know that the initial drink they wanted was not available, so they can choose something else and again the guy taking the order wad annoyed. My siblings decided upon the Mangonada with brown sugar boba and the iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha. Unfortunately, brown sugar boba was not available was all out for the day according to the cashier.. but no sign stating that they were sold out. I had to call my siblings again to let them know and ask if they wanted crystal boba as a replacement. To keep the order going while I was calling them, I asked for a mochi waffle and the guy threw his hands up annoyed and was like do you not want the boba for drink? I told the cashier I'll have the crystal boba instead of the brown sugar since it's currently unavailable, and the guy goes with an attitude... soo do you want the crystal boba? I said yess...yes I do. The Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha was alrightt. It is definitely not all that it is hyped up to be. The drink IMO was just a basic iced matcha with chocolate drizzle on the side of the cup and the pistachio foam that barely tasted like pistachio.

I got the Pink Chai and my friend and i took our drinks to a park down the street which really set the scene: spring day in the park with a friend and a great beverage. The drink was very hot, which ended up being perfect because I had to enjoy it slowly. The flavor profile was subtle and well balanced, not overpowering or too sweet. I'm a big fan of cardamom and pistachio, so getting both in one drink felt like a win, and they worked beautifully together. The pistachio added a nice, nutty finish. I don't distinctly remember tasting the fennel, but it may have been part of what made the overall flavor feel so smooth. I guess I'll just have to come back and order it again.
