1st I talk about how totally shitty the Delray Kia dealership is, then how GREAT Bev Smith is: ----- "0" ZERO or even a negative is what those assholes deserve. I bought a used 2017 Kia Soul from a very reputable car dealer, Earl Stewart Toyota and I HIGHLY recommend them! But after 12,000 miles (86,600) my engine light started blinking and the car went into a "limp home mode". My regular very good mechanic diagnosed the P1326 code. In short that means the bearing rods are beginning to wear excessively, which are covered under a now 150,000 miles extended warranty wear because of a class action suit as Kia fucked up installing the engines!!! Nick the slimey Delray Kia service manager on the phone told me to bring the car in and they will check it as my vin number was on the list of probable engine replacements for FREE! I did NOT like at all the service team at the Delray Kia. BUT LOVED the Bev Smith Kia dealership service department and ALL there. What a huge difference in professionalism!!! I will tell you about Bev Smith following my description of the shitty Delray Kia dealership!!! So they checked my car and said VERBALLY ONLY WITH NO PROOF without telling me about the P1326 code they withheld from me was that my now, get this, my catalytic converter was bad and the COST was a WHOPPING $4,486.73 to replace. Meineke Muffler in Boynton Beach gave me a price of $1,300 using original equipment. AND Delray Kia other suggested items to replaced totaling $7,233 on a trade in value of maybe $5,000 IF the engine was in good working order. (they want you to trade the car in for $500 credit with a blown engine and then they would change out the engine for a much higher resale!!!) The P1326 showed up on 8 scans by professional mechanics. All thought the bullshit line the Delray Kia dealership catalytic converter line was so stupid. Accidentally the Assistant Service Manager on the phone said that one test they did NOT tell me about had the P1326 code. She would not send it to me but I finally got slimey Nick to send it to me. I confronted him with at least 5 P1326 from different scan machines from reputable mechanics and Nick said it was the catalytic converter. I then dealt with Kia Customer Service whose favorite wording is "deny, Deny, DENY!!!" the claim as they repeated "it is the catalytic converter" the slimey Nick never sent them the test that had the P1326 code on it... they said they would request it. Next week they said they could NOT request it. I sent it to them... they ignored ALL my emails with facts. THEY ARE ALL SLIME at Kia Customer Service!!! So this is 3 1/2 months with basically no working car at 70 years old they figured I would give up!!! Going to the doctors was very very difficult!!! NOW --- ALL the people at Earl Stewart Toyota in Lake Park, Florida are GREAT!!! Mark the Service Manager there helped me along the way build evidence to defend my position the rod bearings are going bad and NOT the catalytic converter. By the way if the catalytic converter is "operating below the minimum efficiency threshold" the P0420 code will show up. In all 8 scans the P0420 code NEVER SHOWED UP only the P1326 code 8 times. Mark who tested/scanned my car and the P1326 showed up understood how Kia customer service and the Delray dealership were screwing me. He made a phone call to someone who had worked with him before. He was now the #2 person at Bev Smith Kia in Ft. Pierce. Mark told me go home and expect a phone call. In less than 2 hours Adam "Coach" called me. We talked he understood the P1326 code 8 times showing up. Told me to come up the next day and I would drive out in a 2025 loaner!!! HOLY SHIT!!! On December 23rd Adam called me and told me they were putting a NEW Engine in my car and I could pick it up on the 24th... WHAT A CHRISTMAS PRESENT!!! So, Delay Kia Super SUCKS and also Kia Customer Service, Bev Smith Kia in Ft. Pierce is PHENOMENAL, and Earl Stewart Toyota in Lake Park PHENOMENAL!!! GOD BLESS THEM BOTH!!! read more

took my family to Bev Smith Kia Ft Pierce Fl to look at 2 cars one for my Daughter Stacie & one for her mother Sherry. immediately we were greeted by Mr James T. I informed him i suggested this dealership to my family and they preferred to deal with a Female salesperson. James T went into the building and came back with Ms Arianna she was very nice and professional and courteous. We test drove 2 cares and asked for pricing before our credit was ran. Mr James T informed you we had to at least fill out a credit app to get pricing but he promised us in front of 4 adult witnesses he would not run our credit until we agreed to a price. The negotiations started and the Sherry said she wanted a car without a sunroof and James T told her no problem and he would go look of a different car for her. At this point there was no need to run Sherrys credit because there was no pricing available. Keep in mind James T promised us until we agreed on a price our credit wouldn't be ran. Stacie backed out as prices were to high. I asked James T about the credit Apps he was holding and he got very angry and said he destroyed them both. I called him a lier and her came toward me and was only stopped by another employee from causing me bodily harm. The was a very Angery young man and I am 67 yo disabled veteran fighting cancer and was completely unable to defend myself . We were lied to by James T. His Manger Luis R and Luis Manger Mr Erick Pratt. We were lied to by all the above people accept Ms Arianna at this dealership and we threaten physical violence only because I caught Mr James T in a blatant Lie. I feared for my safety and asked to be escorted out of the building by Mr Luis R asking him to protect me from Mr James T from harming me as I am elderly and suffering from a Cancer battle. This dealership has no respect and honor for there word. Make sure you get every thing in writing and on audio & video if possible. And watch out for Mr James T and he is a lier and a very angry person and came at a old man fighting Cancer to cause me physical violence just because I caught him in a lie and all his mangers protected James T even tho they had proof he lied and had to be restrained from causing me bodily harm. DO NOT PURCHASE OR LEASE A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! And possibly KIA altogether. I would like to share my recent experience with Kia of Fort Pierce, which has been quite disappointing. I leased a vehicle from this dealership a year ago and have since encountered several issues with it. Despite bringing the car in for service, the General Manager, Eric Pratt, has not effectively addressed these problems. After nearly two weeks of having my vehicle, I was informed that they could not "duplicate" the issue, even though the staff observed the problems when I initially brought the car in. The primary concern involves the dashboard, which intermittently displays numerous error messages accompanied by an annoying alert sound. Additionally, I have experienced being locked out of the car on multiple occasions. Initially, I was able to use the Kia app to unlock the vehicle, but this option expired on January 6th. On one occasion, roadside assistance was dispatched to unlock my car, resulting in scratches on the vehicle, which the dealership did not address. During a visit to the dealership, the dashboard malfunctioned again, and I recorded the incident as evidence. Upon arrival, the staff witnessed the dashboard issues and the gear shift locking up, preventing me from moving the car. Despite this, when I requested to speak with the General Manager, he appeared disengaged and unresponsive to my concerns. I expressed my safety worries regarding my daughter and myself, but felt that my concerns were dismissed. Although I was provided with a loaner vehicle, my car has remained at the dealership for almost two weeks without any resolution. I have been advised to retrieve my vehicle, yet no repairs have been made. My intention in sharing this experience is to caution potential buyers and encourage them to consider their options carefully. I would suggest nobody to buy a car from this dealership. I bought a car this last month and my dealer was nice but... After buying the car..and I have pictures to prove the car was damaged when I bought it, I just so happened to over look them until I got home. The car came in damaged, the dealership supposedly did the work to fix it. After the paint started peeling off of my 2016 kia forte...a week later, I took it in to have it fixed. The dealership claimed they would pay 200 off of the paint job I should not have had to pay for. I received, after I demanded, a copy of the invoice. Ironically the invoice has mileage on it that was the same mileage as when they got the car in, well under the mileage from when I purchased the car. So two weeks after I got my car I had to pay for a paint job. And then come to figure out I actually paid for the old invoice from when the car was brought into the dealership. So I was told the certified, under all warranty vehicle I just purchased was priced accordingly. Had I known that I would have maybe looked at a different car instead of a car I was going to have to have repainted. When getting my car back it was covered in mud on the inside. I also have pictures of mileage from when I picked up the vehicle and pictures of the mud. Thats probably because they told me my paint job would be done at bev smith toyota, when actually it was painted at Georges garage down the road, where they park your car in the mud. I have never been treated so terribly, and stupid and disrespected in my life. So if you buy even a certified car from this lot, they do shotty work, then make you pay their old invoices..I will be posting this on any social media outlet I can to make sure no one gets ripped off like I did. Bev Smith KIA Service Department of Fort Pierce: This was 10 days of hell but I want to make this short and to the point. Service dept. dented my car during service. 1st loaner car was loaded with roaches and had expired tags. Went three days without a car. 2nd loaner car was clean. They had my car in their shop for 8 days no updates, no phone calls. I had to call Bev Smith KIA, email the manager and the body shop they took it to. I felt as if I was never getting my car back. I was at their mercy. I feel if a company damages your car it is there job to keep you informed and get your car back to you ASAP. The Service manager said your car will look better than when you brought it to us. I have proof of that in an email. They did nothing to make my car look any better than when I brought it in. NOTHING. Except to dent it and lower its value. My car will NEVER go to any BEV SMITH dealerships to have anything done. I will drive to WPB or Vero to have work done on my KIA. I was also told my peeling rims were under warranty. A professional service advisor that has been working at KIA for years should not inspect my rims tell me they are under warranty, order them, then have them 1/2 installed then come tell me sorry the rims you have on your car are not factory rims, theses will cost you 1800.00. They will never see my car again. They will never see any of my KIAS. I own 3 of them. My sister said she will not bring her KIA their dealership ever, after what they did to me. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Bev Smith Kia in Fort Pierce. For over a week, I was in contact with a salesperson who repeatedly told me he would speak with his manager and get back to me, but he never followed through. I visited the dealership on May 24 and waited until May 30 for updates that never came. What frustrated me most was that I was never provided with actual numbers on the blue K4 Turbo I was interested in purchasing. Instead, the focus seemed to be on running my credit without first showing me pricing or discussing realistic purchase options. I even brought a co-signer to help move the process forward, yet I still received no meaningful information. When I tried reaching out again, it appeared my calls were being ignored, and I believe my number may have been blocked after I voiced my concerns. As a local customer, I expected honesty, communication, and professionalism. Unfortunately, I received none of those things. I understand that not every deal works out, but keeping a customer waiting, failing to communicate, and not providing the information requested is unacceptable. Worst dealership I ever dealt with!!! Leased 2 vehicles from them and actually bought the 2nd lease so basically 3 transactions. The entire time they keep promoting their free tires and batteries for life! In fact as I signed the paperwork to proceed with my purchase the dealership General Manager told me in front of myself and three others that the free tires and batteries will follow the vehicle and that I would continue to have that offer Well not so... I kept my service contract up for all of my oil changes and like always they try to sell you upgrades. So today I went for an oil change and I said my car has 36,000 miles and bald but they denied me the free ones because I didn't have tire alignment and rotation (most places give you free rotation with service) Never along the way did they mention it would negate the freebies. With that many miles regardless of rotation they need to be replaced regardless! Alignment should only be done if a vehicle needs it not because they want to do it and charge you for it. Bev Smith Kia has deals often too good to be true. My advice, buyer beware. For years they have had a promotion running of Tires and batteries for life. It was this that prompted me to buy my first Kia from them. I asked before I signed if there were any hidden gotchas to the deal, the sales person assured me NO. I recently bought anothe Kia from Bev Smith. However the other day the tire light came on and I gtook the car to nearest nitro fill location to have tires checked. Was informed tires need replaced I have since been back and worth with them as they refuse to honor the deal saying that I had to bring the car to them for everything of deal wasn't valid. Now funny thing is this was a bonus incentive listed on the sticker to intice me to buy the car. He really did his best to help me and my unrealistic prices & hit the nail on the head. He showed me a 2014 Kia Forte EX , i instantly fell in love. It was the color I wanted and actually the same car I was looking at at a different dealership. Todd took me for my test drive & took my picture in front of my very first car. Jon helped me with all my paperwork and he was also very honest & helpful. I appreciate all the help that I received from these three men. A bunch of snakes and liers, They will keep you there 6 hours while they did three sales at once. I am 82 years old and at the end of the day I was exhausted. I was told I had to get gap insurance or the bank would not give me a loan it cost me $1,500. When I called the bank they told me I did not need gap insurance they lied to me. I only had one key fob and no carpet pads they told me to come back the next day and said the car was a certified used car 2024 as is. Called Jonathon Herman the sales manager and told me he could sell me a new fab at cost $385 went to another Kia dealer and got it for $300 were I should of bought my car. Went for service, ended up turning in my leased Optima and entered another lease on a 2017 Sportage.
