He put one of his mechanics on it and within another 10 minutes, they found the nail and patched it up. 20 minutes later, I was back on road, after paying the $20 fee, heading to work. I know at other places, it would have taken "all-day" to be seen without an appointment. I really appreciated their care and timely response, and costs I paid for the service. Fast forward to 11/21 I had my vehicle TOWED in because the check engine light started to flash (as shown in video) I originally dealt with Steven, that's whom I dealt with the whole time since bringing my car there, days went by, then I called twice since I didn't hear any updates as to what was going on, allegedly Steven was out sick so I spoke with James who would tell me what he thinks I wanna hear & give me the run around, weeks went by I called AGAIN, spoke with Steven, this time he told me "he doesn't know anything about the vehicle James is dealing with it & he's not in at the moment" at this point I'm started to get pissed, so I decided to pop up there 12/18 since there has been poor communication on what is going on with the vehicle. When I get there Steven tells me they still don't know why the car is misfiring or the check engine light is blinking. I had my car TOWED in at 163,538 miles(as pictured in video), when I got the car back 12/18 it was 163,615(as pictured) with NO GAS IN THE CAR & that is 77 MILES OVER. I understand that a mechanic had to drive the car around to figure out what's going on but 77 MILES IS COMPLETELY INSANE & UNACCEPTABLE!!! At this point I'm starting to think these are a bunch of basement mechanics they are only good for oil changes, brakes & rotors (the basic stuff) that's just driving people vehicles around & not really fixing anything. The worst experience ever I should've known having to go back 3x's for the same issue. Don't waste your time.

I made the mistake of just stopping by on a Saturday morning for an oil change but had to come back the following weekend because they were booked. Recent comparison shopping - I needed front brake pads & rotors. The dealership wanted to charge $700. At Auto Doctor, I only paid $400 which included an oil change and tire rotation. He uses this establishment because he says they treat him "right". Far from home but I work on their side of town. Before I made the appointment I asked the price for a basic oil change and to have them check a tire that was always low after a few days. Their answer: DEPENDS. You can't pin down a price because they change everything on you as they go. Why can't basic oil change/synthetic for X car model be XXX? I am pretty particular with my car since it has been well taken care of and I was tired of price gouging and upselling by all the car dealers. When I arrived the mechanic guy finally came in and he seemed very odd to me because he did not seem to understand my questions: as in what will X and Y cost me with taxes, disposal fees, etc. He was an older man. Finally gave me prices but added that those prices might change. HUH? It took over 5 hours for them to inspect the tire, and a simple oil change after I was told to return in an hour. When I got there some other tech came to me and said I needed a list of things, etc. WUT? Nonsense. I attempted to remove the wheels to have the tires replaced and discovered they had hammered the lug nuts so tight there was no way to remove them without equipment.. this was soooo unnecessary other than maliciousness! Of course they deny ever removing the wheels.........how do you do a full $160 inspection without even taking off the wheels

That fan clutch must have been dragging, because now the truck is way quieter, adn is back to being the beast I love to drive every where. Goss Garage II. My wife and I have taken both of our cars to Goss in Crofton for years. Thousands spent. Always…read moretrusted them. But after our last experience, we'll never be back. Goss quoted me $993 to replace what they claimed was a bad headlight assembly. They listed the part alone at $619. Before approving anything, I asked two very standard, very basic questions: 1. "What is the part number for this $619 headlight assembly?" Melissa told me, "Unfortunately we don't get that until the part arrives." This makes no sense. A shop cannot order a part without knowing the part number first. Big red flag. 2. "How much is the markup on that part?" Melissa said, "Unfortunately I don't have access to that information." Again -- impossible. Every shop sees cost vs retail in their system. It's how parts are priced. Another big red flag. Both responses were evasive and dishonest, and no reputable shop would answer those two questions that way. I took the car to another mechanic (Ron at the Mobil station on 301) for a second opinion. He found the REAL issue was simply a melted connector--extremely common with older cars. He replaced the connector and bulb for $113 and everything works fine now. I saw the owner of Goss respond to another negative review by comparing Goss to a steakhouse and talking about their "warranty." Warranties and steaks have nothing to do with overpricing and refusing to disclose basic information like part numbers and markup -- information every legitimate auto shop can provide instantly. I'm fine with paying steakhouse prices if that's what I ordered, but not if the restaurant can't even tell me what cut of meat they're serving! Bottom line: --Goss tried to sell me a $993 repair that wasn't necessary --Goss refused to disclose part number or markup when directly asked --Another shop fixed the real issue for $113 The upselling is off-putting, but the lack of transparency around parts is inexcusable. We will not be returning, and I'd strongly recommend getting a second opinion before approving any work here.
