One thing that really impressed me was that you can watch the technicians working underneath your vehicle on a monitor the entire time. They also use service pits instead of lifting the car, so you simply drive in, they complete the work, and you drive right out. It made the whole process quick and convenient. The shop was clean, professional, and efficient. To top it all off, they installed my part free of charge. I was so appreciative of their kindness and excellent customer service that I happily left a tip. A special thank you to Walter, the assistant manager, for taking great care of me. Today, however, crossed a line for me and I am compelled to leave this feedback for others. I took my vehicle in for brake work and in usual fashion, the shop turned around the repairs quickly. My issue was with my pick up today and what transpired thereafter (resulting in being awoken from a nap to banging on my door by shop workers). Context and back story here is I am in the IT industry and had a late night software deployment last night. I dropped my kids off this morning at day care (my wife has been out of town at this point on travel for a few weeks, so i am extra tired) and then made my way via uber over to the shop to pick up my vehicle. Upon arriving (I was paying by cash), I told the shop who i was, what vehicle i was picking up - and was told the bill was already taken care of, and that I was all set and good to go. Now here's the key detail - My truck which was serviced was boxed in, thus in order for me to get it out in the first place, another vehicle had to be moved by the shop (not by me), which they did. As I was driving home, I had a call for something pertaining to my software release from the earlier morning come up, and during that call missed a call from the shop. Upon returning home I took a nap since I had a late night of work + exhaustion from the kids. I was awoken not too long after by banging on my door (not just once, multiple times; which awoke me from an upstairs room). When I went to open my door I was confronted by shop workers, and told that I left without paying (and the way they were grilling me; on purpose). I told them I was told the bill was taken care of and good to go. I went through the details of everything that happened, and realized that there was a mix up where it was thought I was a different customer (which is fine, mistakes happen). I gladly paid immediately after there was a clarification. However, I was very very put off by the shop's tactics and intent to portray this as if I knowingly and intentionally did something wrong here. Even after explaining what happened, one of the two of the workers that came out continued to bash me as if I maliciously did this. The kicker about all of this. The work for my vehicle had not been fully completed at the time of pick up. I called back to speak with Mr. Al (who is very nice) and explained what happened and he agreed there was a misunderstanding. It was then called out to me that I needed to bring the vehicle back to complete the remaining work. I never received a receipt for the transaction, and was never apologized to by the workers that came out to gang up over the misunderstanding. I am big on loyalty and customer satisfaction, and this entire experience has soured me to this shop and/or recommending it to others in the future. All it would have taken is giving a listen with an open ear, vs assuming that I somehow moved the vehicles boxing the vehicle in myself in order to somehow move the vehicle without visiting the office for payment and get the key (which i did), then being told I was all set and good to go. I want to stress Mr. Al is a very nice man and apologized on behalf of the workers that came out, however this experience has left me upset all day given the assumption that I had ill intent after being a loyal returning customer for all of these years. UPDATE: I should add, the shop has done work for free on my vehicles before, and Vincent said the mechanic noticed something and fixed it, so 'happy birthday'. According to them I should have probably asked then who paid for that too (and you can see how I would think things were set if told the bill was taken care of). In this instance my vehicle was released to me after I told them the specific make/model (not that i was picking up a pickup truck) - The other pickup truck was completely different make/model. The accusatory nature when coming to my home and banging on my door was borderline harassment and my reaction to the entire situation would have been different if it was approached more neutral as "Hey, there was a misunderstanding we got the vehicles confused despite telling you it was paid for", not "YOU DIDN'T PAY, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU". I started going to this shop during the pandemic SEEKING out ways to support black businesses. Never in a million years would I have thought the business would treat me as if I am a criminal after having been a loyal customer for many years prior to this incident and never once having any issue or experience like this. I have had 2 vehicles services here well over 10 times in total or more - yet am treated like this..

I almost left, but I pulled back in front and a woman came out and said the doors were down to keep warm. So I pulled back around back. There are two bays; a car was in one, and I pulled into the other open bay, yay! The waiting area is small, and kind of dark. It didn't matter that much to me because I was just scrolling on my phone and I knew my car would be ready shortly. When I was told my car was ready I was happy to learn that no other services were needed. My car is fairly new, but my oil was low. The other Jiffy Lube I went to told me I needed an extra cord of oil as this place did not so that saved me the difference of about $20 and Kayla the cashier that checked me out let me use a coupon for $10 off, so even better. They topped off my wiper fluid and checked my wipers. Now I'm ready for my long winter drive to Michigan.

I don't know where to start. Came there last Sunday and waited 3 hrs with an appt and they were…read moregoing to send me home without checking my tire or brakes which was why I came. They then quickly checked and said the brakes were fine and that a tire shouldn't cost much. Came back with a tire appt 2 days later and was told my brakes weren't fine and were at 30% and I was lied to on Sunday. They also stated they had no record of me being there Sunday. Then they backtracked and stated the brakes were fine and were actually at 70%. (Why would you take me out the bay and show me the brakes and add on the service needs only to take it back a few moments later). When I left, I had to pay for 2 tires for $270 and 120 for an alignment - somehow that came out to 573 (get your quotes right!). I then proceeded to go home and the tire light was off but an SOS light kept popping up along with the emergency response on the dashboard. I made it home and when I went back out my engine light was now on! When I went back to NTB to explain the issue (causes by them), the guy who quoted wrong, gave the wrong diagnostics and said I was lying about being there then checked on my car- mind you I only stay 1 mile away or less and I came back same day. He stated that the lights were my fault he couldn't do anything about it and that I needed to go to a dealer. My car is 2 years old and this was the worst experience ever, he needs to be fired immediately and I am getting a third opinion from the Lanham NTB. Don't go to to the GREENBELT Road, go to Annapolis Rd instead! He disregarded all my concerns but if I was of another race or gender, I would have been treated with a lot more respect! I don't want anything to do with that place and don't plan to "contact" your customer service. There was NONE!

I looked into the service bay and saw all four of my tires removed before anyone even explained what they were doing. That is unacceptable. Fast forward to 11/21 I had my vehicle TOWED in because the check engine light started to flash (as shown in video) I originally dealt with Steven, that's whom I dealt with the whole time since bringing my car there, days went by, then I called twice since I didn't hear any updates as to what was going on, allegedly Steven was out sick so I spoke with James who would tell me what he thinks I wanna hear & give me the run around, weeks went by I called AGAIN, spoke with Steven, this time he told me "he doesn't know anything about the vehicle James is dealing with it & he's not in at the moment" at this point I'm started to get pissed, so I decided to pop up there 12/18 since there has been poor communication on what is going on with the vehicle. When I get there Steven tells me they still don't know why the car is misfiring or the check engine light is blinking. I had my car TOWED in at 163,538 miles(as pictured in video), when I got the car back 12/18 it was 163,615(as pictured) with NO GAS IN THE CAR & that is 77 MILES OVER. I understand that a mechanic had to drive the car around to figure out what's going on but 77 MILES IS COMPLETELY INSANE & UNACCEPTABLE!!! At this point I'm starting to think these are a bunch of basement mechanics they are only good for oil changes, brakes & rotors (the basic stuff) that's just driving people vehicles around & not really fixing anything. This review is in regard to services for the Maryland State safety inspection and specifically for…read moreelectronic cars. Simply put: Please find another location. I've had to inspect two cars in Maryland during my time living here and this experience was the worst. They don't value your time and the cost of simple repairs are ridiculous. The initial inspection was fine. They found two cosmetic issues with the car that I had to be fixed. Both on the exterior of the car. One, for example, was the rear wiper blade. So the car fails, which is understandable. If your vehicle happens to fail, please do your research and compare cost for ANY fixes. For example, my back windshield wiper failed because it "smudges a little". I found that debatable however I didn't push on the issue. They told me to replace it they would have to (1) order the part which would take a day or two to arrive, and (2) the cost was $25+. I found that same wiper blade at the local AutoZone for $12 right after I left. And for anyone with the front two windows tinted on their vehicle, for window tint removal, they charge $150 which is absurd and overpriced. As for respecting customers time, they do not. I called on Monday to verify that the inspector would be available on Tuesday morning to reinspect my vehicle. I was told he would be in and that my appointment would be at 8AM when they open. I arrive at 7:55 AM and check in for my appointment. Do you know that I sat in the waiting room for 40 minutes before they decided to tell me that the inspector would not be coming to work that day? I wasted 40 minutes of my time when I could have left and rescheduled. The reinspection was rescheduled for the following day, again at 8 AM. This time I called the front desk before arriving to ensure that the inspector was indeed at work. Not surprised, I was told the inspector was "on his way to work" and that he " lived very far." I digress... To reinspect two cosmetic changes on my car, I sat in the waiting room for over an hour. I had to go to the front desk to ask for status of my car before they finished 15 minutes later. I am thankful that my car successfully inspected. However, I would not return to this location.
