I'm not sure if it's the home warranty company...OneGuard...we have had Beyer out 4 times to fix our refrigerator, including the Wed before Memorial Day... now... The Tuesday after Memorial day... Five days later we have heard nothing back from either company. Our initial contact with Beyer was six weeks ago to fix this... Having my refrigerator broke for six weeks doesn't seem like good customer service.... and it is still not working and we're not even on the schedule right now! read more

I was having a problem with my washing machine and called Beyer Appliance. I was able to get a next day appointment, which was great! The tech was prompt, very friendly, efficient and helpful. He gave me tips to try to help alleviate the problem from reoccurring. He also checked and cleaned my dryer while he was here. I was very pleased with the service. read more

Horrible experience with this company, they came out to repair my dishwasher and my home warranty company sent them, when the technician looked at the dishwasher he commented on how much lime scale buildup there was in the dishwasher and that it needed to be acid washed, then he commented that the motor was bad the pump was good, the technician said he hoped they covered it because it will be very expensive to fix. The home warranty company denied my claim because Beyer said it was the build up of soap and hard water deposits, the tech never told them about the motor. The home warranty company told me that an acid wash would repair the problem and if I would pay $200 that would take care of it And fix the problem. So neither the home warranty company American home shield or the repair people we're on the same page and I had to find the answers out of this not being covered by calling because nobody from either place called me, I had to call a week later, buyer beware stay away from these two companies they're crooks. Home warranty company $125 deductible additional charge from the repair place $200, that's $325 to do an acid wash and you can buy a brand new dishwasher for $350, does that make any sense, this dishwasher is 13 years old, I will definitely spread the word read more

The absolutely WORST repair company I've ever dealt with. They sent out a repairman over a month ago to fix an oven and microwave and have fixed neither. "Steve" claimed to do a diagnostic yet did not know that the oven was disconnected from the electrical system He put a fuse in the microwave which blew the first time I used it. When I called to complain, the office manager "Angelique" had no remorse or apology for their massive screw ups. read more

FNHW Work order  When Beyer took my ice maker for repair they left a water hose exposed causing a flood under my sink. When they came to fix the flood, they simply ran the hose from under the sink and up the front of the cabinet into the sink. He suggested for future reference I call my builder to find out where my shutoff valve is. But to be clear, the problem with the ice maker has noting to do with my ester shutoff valve. They called and made an appointment to reinstall the ice maker today before noon. I noticed I'd missed a call from them and called back. I was told by a woman named Diamond I was told to replace my shutoff valve. I said no, we didn't know where it was, but it has nothing to do with installing the ice maker. She yelled at me saying listen to me, he told you what you need to do for us to install the ice maker. I started speaking she hung up. I called back and asked for the owner and was put on hold. I was holding so long the phone rang back again, I asked for the owner again. Diamond said she is aware you're holding. I held for another 6 minutes before the call dropped. I called FNHW immediately and spoke with a representative, during the entire time I was online with the FNHW Rep the owner of Beyer Appliance never called back. The representative and I documented it was 30 minutes (11:15) from the time stamp of the end of my phone call to Beyer Appliance at 10:45 and the owner knew I was holding and yet never called in those 30 minutes and since then I've yet to hear from the Beyer Appliance owner and the time is now 11:52 still no call back from the owner. horrible customer service. The technician was very nice and when he worked on our subzero his work was great. But, they have been out to our house 4 times in the last 2 months for the same issue with our dishwasher - each time it was a mis-diagnosis. Now they tell me that they know what the problem is and the part has been ordered (from a source in Phoenix) but the wrong part was ordered. Beyond frustrated. A second technician came out on the third visit and told me that because my "jet-dry" dispenser was empty - that this might be the cause of the problem - are you kidding me! read more

my home warranty company sent beyer appliance to repair my leaking frige. i was wary because of the reviews on yelp & i even called & ask them to schedule the repair with another company which they refused to do. fortunately, i had a very good experience with beyer. they were pleasant when they called to schedule the appointment. the service men (there were 2) called before arriving on time. they immediately found the problem & fixed it in a timely manner. they were polite & pleasant. i was completely satisfied with their work. of note, about 2 months prior to this, when the frige first started leaking, i called another appliance company that gets very good online reviews. the service tech came out & could find nothing wrong. read more

Beyer was sent out by One Guard warranty to repair my refrigerator recently for the door not staying shut. I believe the tech's name was Lu or Tu. he said I had a bad washer on the door that is why it did not stay closed, they ordered the parts and it took three weeks to come back they said the parts were on back order according to the office, but in fact they had them after one week according to tech he said they ordered the same part twice. (lack of communication by office staff). so waited two weeks longer than needed. he installed part and guess what i didn't fix the problem. I said it is the gasket you can see it binding when closing the door, but he argued it wasn't the gasket. They were called back waited another week same tech came out he says gasket is bad wow really!! ( now this tech had training in high end refrigerators OK sure he did) magnet no longer holding door tight but it is not covered. got a call a few days later from One guard warranty telling me the tech says gasket is torn off so it will not be covered, not true and pics were sent to warranty company to show it is not true and under review so tech lied to warranty co. Stay far away from Beyer repair they lack the knowledge, ethics and communications skills to be a reputable company as you can see from other reviews as well. read more

Recently our ice maker broke. We have a home warranty and they contacted Beyer Appliance to repair it. R.J. was the repairman that was assigned to this repair. I would give 10 stars if that were possible! R.J. called ahead of time to let us know he was on his way. He arrived with tools in hand. After just a few minutes he correctly diagnosed the problem. A new ice maker was ordered. A few days later R.J. arrived with the new ice maker. He installed it quickly. He has great communication skills. He explained all the parts of the unit and further explained that it would take about 3 hours to make the first ice cubes. He suggested throwing out the first few batches. We followed his advice and now have a full container of ice cubes. He removed the broken ice maker and left the area spotless. I would recommend Beyer Appliance, and R.J., for anyone needing a knowledgeable, courteous, dependable appliance repair company. read more

I had a very bad experience with this company. My property management company sent them out to fix my leaking refrigerator. The technician arrived and told me that he knew what the problem was before even looking at the appliance. He spent 5 minutes at the fridge and told me that he fixed the leaking problem. I asked him to test it so we could be sure the problem was solved. He refused and left abruptly. I checked and it was still leaking. I called the office and they sent him back. He was rude and short with me--again he did NOT even inspect the fridge-he just told me that it was not fixable! Never mind that he told me 20 minutes earlier that it was fixed. The communication with the office staff was very frustrating given their rudeness and condescending attitude. It was decided through the property management company that they would send a "refurbished" fridge to replace the unfixable one. The fridge they brought leaked brown fluid and smelled awful! The staff that delivered the fridge told me that they would be talking my old one to repair and resell!! I attempted to reach office staff to remedy this unacceptable situation and I was again treated disrespectfully by office staff with no return calls and lack of willingness to talk about the issue. Ultimately I had to purchase a new fridge-Very happy with that. BEWARE of this company. read more

If I could give a lower rating I would. I never use these sites but this company's unprofessional behaviors warrant a first time! After sending out inexperienced service technicians to fix my oven/microwave combo unit, they pulled it out of the wall, leaned it on the drawer under the oven unit and damaged the drawer. Then they ordered a part, returned without the dolly again! put in the part and did not connect the wiring properly! After which, I had to get an electrician to fix the wiring. Then, the oven unit still did not work because they put in the wrong part. THEY refused to come out to diagnose the problem and fix it (First American Warranty had to tell me) and left me 2 months waiting on another part they did not order and never fixed the drawer or paid for the electrician I had to get. They made a MESS and refused to come back and be held ACCOUNTABLE. So, if you want you appliances NOT fixed and ADDITIONAL problems such as improper wiring and have someone NEVER call or show up. Beyer Appliance is for you! A nightmare if a company, unprofessional, untrained, rude and should be out of business. read more

Typical low bid, low ethics, and low competency. You're just numbers to them. The least amount of time they can spend on you is the best for them. They aren't interested in hiring great people, because those are expensive, so they hire complete crap for employees. If the job isn't really obvious or straightforward they're going to diagnose the problem incorrectly and they don't have any parts in stock. So, repairs take forever. They won't fix your appliance in your home either, they want to pull the appliance and take to their shop which sounds great, but this doesn't speed anything up and is only really done to prevent you from going to another company when you get fed up with their antics. Read the reviews and make your own decision, but you should see that unless it's a really straightforward repair, they give will you the wrong diagnosis; take forever to repair your appliance; and provide unsatisfactory customer service. So, many better options for appliance repair. Don't trust these people to take care of you. read more

Beyer was sub contracted by Fidelity home warranty to service my diahwasher. They came out and borrowed my shop vac to clean the dishwasher out. The technician was very nice. He informed me that likely after a few uses the dishwasher could clog because he was breaking apart build-up. I have not been home much to use the dishwasher. A few days ago i noticed it was clogged. The tech did say to just call them out again and they would clean the drain back out. I just called Beyer and the manager would not send the tech back out to 're-service. Claiming that it would void my warranty with fidelity. Fidelity already will not warranty this work because its past 30 days. Weak attempt at passing the buck. Just admit that you are not a company who is interested in doing what is right. I would be happy to split the service call. So i will clean out the mess inside my dishwasher that Beyer warned me would probably happen. And said they would be happy to come back out to fix and now are not. I have had several dealings with the company. They were assigned by our home warranty company American Home Shield. The office staff is very courteous and they are pretty quick to respond. I have had them come out probably 5 times in the last 4 months to repair my washer. The last time I was told nothing is wrong with it. The smell I am smelling is just extra water in the drum. Finally had to have a second opinion and guess what....it's the motor! No duh, the smell we were smelling was electrical, from the motor. Just glad my house didn't burn down. Do yourself a favor don't call them, not worth the headache!!! read more

This co. Works for the home warranty co. We have, they came out to fix refrig. ( ice maker) 3 months later, doesn't work anymore. Came out to fix dishwasher, the guy takes apart. water goes everywhere, 20 towels later he leaves, unknown to me he caps the hot water, days later they come back to give us hot water. But no part. After days of not getting part. They send a guy , he shows up with a dolly to take our washing machine?? Finally they fix dishwasher, but to lazy to bolt on bottom toe kick of dishwasher. I call them to come fix it. They say for $75.- they'll come out, since its past the 60 days, " you'll have to pay the $75. Fee. This protects you the owner tells me??. When will Yelp allow people to rate a business zero stars? Thy do not even deserve a star, not in the least.This is the most horrible appliance company I have ever dealt with in over 25 years. The customer service is horrible, abhorrent. I would rather have a refrigerator that sits in my kitchen as an ice box than deal with them again. Their records are incorrect, and they blame their bad keeping of records on the customer. They also will not listen to their guests and will argue with them on the phone. You will wait 1 month before you will see a tech in person. I did. and guess what. He had ordered the wrong parts and wasted my entire day trying to make them work for over four hours so he could get paid for labor. He finally gave up and two weeks later was supposed to show up. Even though he was the one who ordered the wrong parts in the first place and we were last on the list of people for him to see. I actually got a call saying that the tech was on the way and if they did not hear from me in the next 10 minutes they would cancel the appointment. They had my husbands number and instead called my number and left two threatening voice messages. I called them to tell them not to cancel the appointment and that I had already confirmed the night before. They argued with me, pulled up the wrong records and then stated they would not work with me in the future. and they did not want my business. I hope anyone who needs any help with their appliances steers clear of this appliance repair. I am old enough to have had many experiences with appliance repair and this was by far the worst. absolute worst and I am curious as to how they are even in business. First off, let me start by saying the tech I had "Brad" was AWESOME! So polite, professional and explained to me why my Fridge was not cooling. He answered all the questions I had and did have to order a part. He said the part would be delivered in 3-5 days, so I was surprised when I got a call the next day telling me my part was in and they were back out THE SAME DAY!! I recently had three appliances repaired by Beyer Electric. It took a few tries to get the proper diagnosis of all three (washer, dryer, stove) but I am happy with the end results. My only concern with this business is the customer service. When calling to ask about the service status, I found the women who answered the phone line to not have the proper information, and when we got to an administrative manager, she was combative with both my husband and myself. My advice for them is to improve the communication process between the repair shop and the front office staff. What parts for what machine, when were they ordered, when will they arrive, is there a projected fix date, and please call the customer with updates if the wrong part was ordered. Sounds like common sense but I was without a washer in my home for more than 30 days. read more

We've been dealing with this company for over five weeks for a broken dishwasher latch. They were assigned through a home warranty service. They initially came out and decided the latch was busted, no surprise there. We were told we needed to have a plumber come out first to replace a hose before they could make the necessary repairs because they were afraid to pull the dishwasher out from under the counter. OK, we called the plumber and had the repairs made. When Beyer came back out to service the 2nd time, we were told they needed to order the parts. I asked why they didn't order them the first time and was told they couldn't until the plumber fixed the flex line. (Really? What does the latch have to do with the flex line?) After the part came in, we tried to schedule an afternoon appointment after 3 pm so no one would have to miss work. No dice. The company refuses to make appointments after 3, so my husband took a half day off work. After the repairman finished, the very first time I tried to use the dishwasher the latch kept popping open every two minutes or so and would not stay closed. We had to call them back. Another day off work, then they informed us they needed to order hinges. We waited for the hinges. This time they came on our day off, but they showed up an hour later than the latest time of our given time frame. So we waited all day for them to show up and they came after 4 pm. Then they informed us they accidentally brought two left hinges and couldn't make the repairs. Today, we were told they were going to put us first on the list. Our time frame was 10 am to 3 pm. It is 4 pm and they are still not here. I was supposed to drive my husband to the eye doctor and he ended up having to take an Uber. With all the time, work, and money we have lost waiting on Beyer Appliance we could have bought a new dishwasher. They are terrible. read more

I used this company because "AHS", a home warranty company gave them the task to fix my dishwasher, They came out, took the product name and serial number and said they would order the parts and return. For this they were paid $125.00. They never returned so I called them. They told me that AHS had not authorized the repair but they would be allowed to keep the $125.00 anyway. Yesterday I called them and was told by the general manager that my money was a deductable and they didn't have to refund it. They even had the gall to say it was like a doctor collecting money. So if you ever want me to come to your house, collect $125.00 and not return, I'm your man. Seriously, you've been warned. read more

I wish Yelp had a way to express negative stars! These people are incompetent and in my mind dishonest! American Home Shield needs to stop contracting to these people - see all the other reviews besides this one. This contractor makes AHS look bad! Our kitchen Fridge went out (warm). Placed a service call, and these folks who proudly (lie) advertise "same day service" told us to wait 8 days before they could come out. We patiently waited. (Not fun.) When the service man arrived he said there was dog hair in the vent, cleared it, and left within about 10 minutes, telling my wife "tell your husband to buy some coil cleaner - we don't do that". He did NOT do the testing that would have revealed it was still broken. (Unfortunately my wife was the only one home, I know enough to make sure he broke out the tools and made sure it was actually working.) I got home a few hours later, fridge still warm. I called after-hours and left a message that the fridge was not repaired. They did not call back. Noon the next day I called, and requested they come back out. They said I had to call AHS and place another service call, there was nothing they could do because they had "closed" the ticket. I said I wanted my $75 back, they said no - take it up with AHS. Frustrated, I used a cuss word (just 1) when I asked how to get my *&*& fridge fixed, and of course this gave her the excuse to start pontificating and lecturing me about my use of that word. After giving her a minute to realize she was not going to stop I told her to "get over it", so she hung up on me. YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY MAY BE THE SAME!!!! By the way - They refuse to give a receipt for the $75, and only accept cash or check. Very suspicious and crooked. Fortunately my wife got the feeling they were dishonest and wrote a check, which we can cancel. (If you do the same DO NOT give cash without a receipt!) Update: I called AHS and explained my predicament. To their credit, they immediately created another service call and assured me I would not have to pay the $75 again. (So I will not cancel the check and let just AHS deal with these dishonest people instead. I am DONE with them!) The 2nd company arrived the next morning, immediately identified the compressor was not running, then using their ohmmeter showed me the power inverter was not sending power to the compressor. I will have to wait a couple days for AHS to send the part - but I am happy AHS sent me someone trustworthy and competent to make up for the Beyer guy! read more

I recently called Beyer appliance on a Saturday about a working washer @ dryer set I had for sale. The female receptionist who answered the phone asked for emailed pictures for review and stated that she would get back to me in a couple of days to let me know if Beyer was interested. Pictures were sent to Beyer immediately. Beyer did not call. I waited until the following Wednesday and called Beyer again and had to explain my inquiry once more. The female receptionist advised that "Monday and Tuesday were their busy days." I said that I merely wanted the courtesy of knowing whether Beyer was interested, or not. The receptionist replied that she would review the pictures and get back to me in a few days. It is now over two weeks later and I have received no phone call from Beyer. I am not pleased and would suggest that Beyer reviews it's poor customer relations and business model. Beyer Appliance was sent to my home as an American Home Shield contractor to repair my refrigerator. They came out on a Monday and said they didn't have the proper parts to make the repairs. I was told it would take 3 to 5 business days to receive it. After 5 business days passed, I called only to discover they waited 3 days to report the problem to AHS who took 2 days to order the part. I was told it would take another 1 1/2 weeks to get the part. After waiting 4 days for Beyer to come to my home, a week to learn about the status of the part and another week and a half to get the part, I'll be without a refrigerator for 3 weeks. Neither AHS or Beyer accepted responsibility for their horrific customer service. When I spoke to employees at Beyer, I was told they were looking for the part and couldn't find it. The worst thing was being told by the dumb girl on the phone that once, she didn't have a refrigerator for 2 weeks and she bought dry ice, which she said works pretty good. Beyer provides poor customer service. They have no concept that 3 weeks without a refrigerator is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE and accepting responsibility for their negligence is something they will not do. They are a terrible company and I'll NEVER use them again. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I am a Property Manager so I deal with these type of companies multiple times a day. This company went to the home of one of my tenants to fix an oven. They did not fix the issue because they believed that it was under warranty. They did not bother to inform the warranty company or myself of this belief. The tenant was on an extended vacation so they did not notice that the repair was not done until they returned from their trip. The staff was INCREDIBLY rude! The property where the oven is located is a triplex. My company owns all three units and each unit has a separate address. I asked the person i was speaking with which unit they went to, but they just kept saying the street name-they would not provide the number portion of the address. Had they provided adequate service we would have used them for our other 25 rental properties in the area. Do not use this company. read more

WE'LL JUST SEND THE PART BACK AND IT IS DONE". i said keep it and that he was a jerk. THEN. making a complaint with AHS, they said they would handle the bad service from BA. NEXT, (AHS) contacted another company to cover BA. by that time we HAD to purchase a washer.(7 days later). here comes the good news. as bad luck would have it our refridge had a bad compressor 3 weeks later. guess who AHS sent out? yepper BA, The tech was a good guy that came out and picked up and delivered the fridge. so 8 days later and 2 hours after the delivery time here we are. DO NOT USE BEYERS APPLIANCE. we tried to cram as much food in our secondary fridge and $$$$$$ later on ice and false words. do not rely on this company. you will not get the service you are paying for. funny thing his tech that cam out said "it may be 3 to 5 days for repair and delivery. hope it's on the lower end". hey mr beyer!. tell your techs not to give a time of completion on a call. or maybe keep it real with your clients that have fully paid you.
