We had a Dyson ball vacuum given to us, and found that the brush sounded slightly like a plane taking off when running. Took it to Abe at Kirby Vacuum Sales & Service, and he diagnosed it right away with needing a new brushroll (apparently a common issue with Dyson). He quoted a potential price that day, and said it could be 1-2 days before being done. He called me less than 24 hours later saying he had it fixed. I have been going to Kirby Vacuum for years for service on a Hoover upright and for last several years a Dyson upright. We have had our Simplicity fetch vacuum for a whole decade without any issues. Then I was vacuuming the living room and I heard something get sucked up and a huge grinding clanking noise. The motor started emitting a burnt smell and I switched it off. I had no clue what went in there, maybe one of my kiddo's toys? I searched around and found Kirby Vacuum Store and called them right away. Abe was so helpful in answering all my questions. I dropped off the vacuum and the next day, he called and said one of the motors broke off and he gave me a very fair quote. It was finished that day and now I have a happy working vacuum again!!! They "fixed" it and gave it back in the same EXACT condition. I called this location about a week ago to see if they work on Sharks and was told they do. My husband dropped it off for a diagnostic and repair; he was a bit turned off by the man's indifference and apathy but gave them the benefit of the doubt. Within 24hrs, the vacuum was "fixed" and the main culprit was "wiring that had been shoved into the wand." They supposedly epoxied the wiring so that it would stay in place. I can almost guarantee that it wasn't tested after because when we brought it home, it was still doing exactly what we brought it in for. Not a great experience read more

Took my reconditioned Kirby into Marvin (I bought the Kirby on Marvin's recommendation Oct 2019 - and I LOVE it!), for a drive lever that had come off. Marvin said "no problem, it's all covered under warranty"! A 3 year warranty for a reconditioned much older Kirby! Not only did Marvin take care of it (called me the following day and said it was ready), but it reset my roller to the correct setting and cleaned it up. I have an older bissell that just wasn't working well. I called Kirby vacuum to make sure they would work on it. An hour later I'm at the shop dropping off my vacuum. They said it would take a couple days. I got a call 2 days later with a list of repairs needed and the cost. I approved repairs and the vacuum was ready the next day. The vacuum runs like new! My Dyson animal pretty much gave out but I took it in to see if it could be salvaged. Marvin (extremely friendly) told me it would be $19.95 diagnostic fee but if I decided to get it repaired then the $19.95 fee would be applied to the repair cost. As expected, my Dyson wasn't worth bring fixed but Marvin walked me through all the vacuum option he had in his store (Dyson, Kirby, Shark, Cirrus, etc) and the pros and cons of each. Torn between the Cirrus and the Kirby, he let me take each one of them home to try them out on my carpet. I ultimately went with a refurbished Kirby but I feel like I got a great deal and an outstanding education on vacuums. I'll return to Marvin for future sales and service - just a great guy and very customer oriented. read more

My vacuum hasn't been serviced in years and when I searched for a place that services shark vacuums I decided to try this place. I called up and they were very nice over the phone and quoted me a reasonable price. I agreed to the price and dropped off my vacuum. In 2 days my vacuum was ready. They've even sold me a new filter which I needed and they recommended since I hadn't had a new filter in years so I appreciated that. They also handed me a shopping bag and said we found a clog in your vacuum and that's why you probably didn't get good suction. They threw the bag with cat hair away after showing me. I appreciated that they showed me it and sanitized and made my vacuum new again. I'll use them again when it's time for my service on my vacuum again. read more

I've got a 20 yr old Kirby G2000 that I'd previously taken elsewhere to get fixed. I learned my lesson and ended up bringing it here, where I should've gone in the first place! Haven't had to return for a couple of years, until just recently. It needed a tuneup, etc... I dropped it off, and told Sydney what it was doing and to let me know what she found wrong and how much it'd be! She promptly called me in the afternoon and told me the Rear axle needed replaced as did the suction tube, had a hole in it! I was literally relieved upon her call and the reasonable price it was, to tuneup, replace axle, replace suction tube, replace light bulb, etc... I picked up the vacuum the next day. Brought it home and it works just like it did when I bought it in 1999! I highly recommend this business if you need vacuum repair OR replacement. Especially if you own or want a Kirby vacuum! We used to live in Chandler a few years ago and would go to this vaccum shop for bags and usual supplies for our Kirby. When we moved to Goodyear, no vaccum place can compare! 3 years later and we still make the drive to this shop to get the quality service.
