    Bart's Bag
    Yelena R.

Enjoyed my lunch at the Campbell location today. They have a cute outdoor heated patio and the weather was beautiful so I set outside. I made a mistake of not displaying the card for my order so I just set it flat on the table and poor server had to look for me for a while. It's a good idea to attach it to the napkin holder so the servers can spot them but since my table didn't have one I didn't even think of it. I ordered half a sandwich with apples on the side. When the cashier asked me if I wanted my apple sliced I didn't think that I will be served pre sliced apples that were hanging out in water for a while, so next time perhaps should get a whole apple. I ordered Bart's bag and it was awesome.

Avis Avo, Brads Beef or Gordi's Gorgonzola is so so good. Our family has gone to Beyond Bread for years (as long as I can remember really) and it's one of our favorite sandwich shops in Tucson. You really can't go wrong with their sandwiches. If it's Wednesday Pepperoni Pretzel Bun Sandwich is AMAZING. It's nothing fancy restaurant wise. Take it to go or dine in. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The service is usually fast and good. Gotta try their sandwiches if you're in Tucson.:)

I love coming here when I'm in town. Great food and everyone is so friendly. It's so much easier to share the sandwich and get a side item so you don't feel super full.

I have not been to Beyond Bread in quite sometime. I met up with a friend for a quick bite this morning and had a great experience. Staff was friendly and although they were busy, lines ti order moved quickly and efficiently. There was plenty of seating, and everything was clean and well kept. I had Annie's Addiction-the bread was delicious and the veggies were crispy and fresh. My latte was yummy! We'll be back on a more frequent basis!

Yesterday went so well , we did another sandwich lunch session for different company. This could be a new thing.

I ordered the Betty's Brie 1/2 sandwich with chips. Service was busy but the food arrived quickly. Still unorganized about the line to order. There are plenty of tables inside and at the covered patio. It's warmer out there but in the fall it should be good. Betty's Brie is my favorite with the roast beef, Brie cheese, mayo and tomatoes. It's sometimes hard to eat because the bread is so hard so I have to deconstruct it. It's noisy when it's full. Plenty of parking.

Po'Boy where the shrimp doesn't fit in the bread cause the bread is filled to the brim with lettuce.

03/22/2026, 10:32AM, Check #160, I normally come to Beyond Bread on a normal basis and they have been fairly consistent. This time it was too many issues to not bring up. My wife's order came out a completely different sandwich. The remake was made very sloppy. The Po' Boy sandwich was stuffed so full of lettuce the shrimp didn't even fit into the bread. The main issue is that I was served a ROTTEN apple. The outside of the apple was obviously soft and squishy and the core had MOLD! Why is the kitchen staff not trained to catch this? Why is the food expo not trained to catch this? When I brought it up to the manager, she didn't really seem to care. She did offer carrots or chips instead of my rotten and moldy apple but that was really it.

I met a friend here as it's a central location for us. Based on the name, you wouldn't expect many gluten-free options. However, they have gluten free wraps for sandwiches, and the granola is gluten-free. As with other Beyond Bread locations, it's counter service. Place your order at the counter and take a card to the table that identifies your order. I selected the house granola with oat milk and a plain latte with oat milk. Both were good and delivered within 5 minutes of ordering. This location is large with plenty of room to chat with a friend or bring a medium-sized group from work. There is interior seating, as well as a screened outdoor area. My friend who can eat gluten gives a shout out to their pretzels.

    Betty's Brie and Tomato Soup

Maintaining the same consistently high quality for over 25 years, and my favorite sandwich place in the Tucson area. Not only sandwiches, Beyond Bread is a cafe, which serves sandwiches (both hot and cold), a tasty breakfast menu, salads, soup and heavenly baked goods. Don't miss their Chocolate Bobka or King Cake. Everything I've tried on their menu has been tasty. My fave sandwich is the Betty's Brie: roast beef, Brie cheese, sliced tomatoes and mayo on a tooth breaker baguette. Too Yummy. My usual side is the tomato soup. Thick and creamy. I don't know how many pictures of a Betty's Brie I've posted over the years. And you'll see another Betty's Brie pic posted with this review. Want to eat in, inside and outside seating. A pleasant oasis. There are several good sandwich places in Tucson, and Beyond Bread remains a cut above

    Gobble me up salad

I decided to stop here and get lunch to go. It's in the Safeway shopping area on the corner of Ina and Oracle. They have a couple of entrances. I parked in the back and walked through the enclosed patio to the entry where you order. They have a kiosk where you can put in a takeout order and pay there which was convenient. It didn't take too long to get my order. While you wait, you are tempted by the pastry and desserts and I gave in. I had the Gobble me up salad that is sliced turkey, greens, onions, cranberries, gouda cheese, and spiced nuts. It came with ranch dressing, bread and butter. The mix of flavors worked well and it was a large salad-could easily be 2 meals. I also gave in to the carrot cake which was huge. The carrot cake was good not great but enjoyed it.

There is something indescribably delicious about the apple and cherry Crisps. *Chef's Kiss* The staff at La Baguette Parisienne is knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. They are also incredibly kind. On my last visit, I managed to take an epic fall (really more of a clumsy crumple) that included pushing a rolling counter across part of the store. My middle name is "Grace". The owner, Kim, couldn't have been nicer or more helpful (nor could the customers there at the time, so I guess kindness attracts kindness). She helped me to get up and was gracious regarding my minor rearrangement of her shop and cheerful enough that I went from embarrassment to laughter in record time. My late beloved Mama found this lovely, cute bake shop decades ago when they first opened, and she was a delighted weekly customer whenever she was at her east-side Tucson home. I hope to carry on her tradition, if less frequently from my UA-area home, until my time on the planet is done (bury me with a plain large Miche, a Cherry Crisp, and a Cosmic Cupcake, please). Highly recommend!

You really wouldn't see this place driving down Wilmot because it's tucked behind two businesses, with 4 fifteen minutes parking spots designated for the shop. I think I've sampled every pie. The size is perfect to split with someone. No drinks or other things are available here, but one can purchase drinks down the way at Beyond Bread. The staff are always getting customers rung up and out quick. Because the space is so small you go in the entrance, order your pies and then go out an exit door. There's no room for meandering or window shopping.
