During my visit, I experience less than satisfactory customer service. An employee seems kind, just…read morearriving, hurrying to change shoes to get to work, asking me if I have yet to receive any professional attention (which I have yet to within the five minutes so far of standing at the counter staring at the menu from a register). A different employee is busy helping other customers. I order my meal, pay, then sit at a table. I'm reading though watching different patrons coming and going. I'm thinking perhaps ordering ahead is ideal, perhaps my meal takes extra time, because twenty minutes go by and I don't receive any word from an employee about the meal. So, I decide to wait five more minutes before saying anything, then finally ask about the progress of the meal. The employee claims thinking that I already eat and figures I'm just sitting in the eatery. The employee proceeds to fulfill my order. So, I receive my order after a few more minutes (about thirty-five minutes before a bite). For the most part, I opt for Vegan options, though I step in to try the eatery, thinking of a breakfast bagel sandwich. The O.G. on an Everything Bagel is decent; the Swiss Cheese offers a subtle sweetness, with a dull tartness which offers a soft pleasant after taste, which doesn't carry a milky flavor; the raw onion is barely perceptible between the eggs, tomatoes, turkey bacon, salt, pepper, and ketchup, though may be more so if set apart for a re-chew more so on its own with the eggs, tomatoes, and turkey bacon. The potato tastes like it goes through a really fast heating process; the bottom of the potato is more so grill burning crispy than tasty seasoning crispy and holds a watery tasting cooler interior which is inconsistently warm spreading from the grill burning crispy base. After the wait and eating, I wonder if the eatery has a system of acknowledging an order to ensure it is complete (e.g., classic write the order on paper and stick it where the chef can see any order that needs readying, so a patron may receive satisfactory customer service and so the business may operate more efficiently). The interior has low wall booth seating for about twenty-four people and standing room near the entrance.

It's right on Bloomfield, but there's a convenient parking lot in back. Since I wasn't terribly hungry, I ordered an egg bagel with veggie cream cheese. Excellent! Sometimes you order veggie cream cheese and wonder what if any vegetables went into it. Not here. Next time, I'll be more adventurous and order an egg sandwich. For today, my order was just right!

The store is usually very clean and it's still has a new feel since it opened over a year ago. The food is very good here and the bagels are large and fresh. This owner has two bagel stores in town so they know the area and the people. Prices are average which is good so you feel like you can still feed your family without going broke. Their wraps are excellent and they do not skimp on the meat! Bagels are made fresh daily and they always are fully stocked so you don't have to settle for why's left (like other places). Owners are friendly and courteous. The more you go there the more they get to know you and make you feel welcomed. Sorry but that's a Jersey thing!
