Honestly, I was super excited for this experience.. but it was so hot. There was no AC.. all the fun cocktails were out of the cool things that they were displayed with in advertising. The decorations were good. It becomes a big club where everyone is just dancing and super hot and sweaty very limited seating area. It takes forever to get your drinks, & the drinks are very sugary.. It was an OK experience. Like any pop-up bar it's very mediocre. If you're local, it's fine but if you're traveling from a distance, don't waste your time. Happy spooky season.

Empty all night long. You'll get kicked out of the section if you even tried to sit

Halloween decor is on point!! Dj played all genres which was great. Thats pretty much the only positive thing i have to say about this pop up bar. They have seat reservations which i dont think its needed. Should be a seat for all. They would kick you out of the section, so standing all night long was the only option. They need to remember its a bar and not a club. That bottle mentality has got to GO! Drinks are STRONG and overly sweet. Sickly sweet if I'm being honest. Get ready for that hangover/ headache. For some reason the rye rye something drink was half a cup. Long waiting to get in even with the whole reservation ticket. People without tickets were getting in faster due to a shorter line. Reservation ticket entry was like $20 and non reservation was $40 from what I overheard. I would say go just so you can say you experienced it. No longer than maybe 2-3hrs. Gets repetitive and tired of standing and getting pushed from the crowd going back and forth through the dance floor.

This review is for the Paramount location. I got a few items: Dino rib, pork ribs, brisket, sausage, mac and cheese and corn bread. I'll start with the positives. The mac and cheese and corn bread were decent. Also they took 15 minutes to give me all the varied food I ordered which should have been my red flag to run, but I decided to live dangerously and was punished severely for it. Now on to the travesty, the meat. The theme for today was dry, old and shameless. The pork was somehow undercooked and dry. Which if you can endure the cruelty, is actually kind of impressive. The brisket resembled beef jerky. I'm including pictures of the brisket since those speak much more eloquently than I can. I love to cook and I infamously over season my dishes. But all these meats were at a whole another level. Not salty but aggressively peppery and just ham handed. The rub was flavorful but it blew out my palette instantly. Please take this to heart: less is more. In terms of meat quality? Cheap. My Dad is a butcher, I can tell. Everything being reheated did the meat quality no favors either. The seasoning was further exacerbated because the ribs, both dino and pork, were almost entirely bone. So you have a ton of seasoning on a lick of meat. It was a recipe for disaster. And price? Expensive, especially for what I received. Insulting for what I received. I'll end it here. I don't want to waste your time like this place wasted mine.

I felt almost confused at first, like as if the restaurant wasn't even sure of its own identity. However, once I started eating the food, I understood and am extremely impressed. I had ordered the crawfish pasta, popcorn chicken (spicy), and fried baos. The pasta was cooked perfectly with chunks of crawfish and sausage in a creamy tomato-esque sauce. I usually don't care for crawfish, but it was so delicious here. The sauce was so buttery and creamy, and the sausage added a cajun spice to the dish. The components are all very seafood boil, but felt different and innovative with unique flavors. The popcorn chicken was seasoned very well and had the perfect fried, crispy texture you'd expect from popcorn chicken. What really made this unique was the sauce that it was served with. I am not sure what exactly the sauce is, but it tastes like a ginger scallion sauce that is served with Chinese boiled chicken. The sauce is a little more elevated and flavorful than a traditional ginger scallion sauce. I would've never thought to combine popcorn chicken with it, but it works! The fried baos were the most surprising to me. I was keeping my expectations low because I usually think frying something that's not normally fried doesn't always bode well. Fear not, the baos were fried perfectly. They were fried lightly while the inside kept your typical bao consistency. Also, in case you were wondering the type of bao, it is basically a steamed bao with ground pork, and I think an egg yolk inside. The flavors felt very much like traditional dim sum, yet new and fresh. Hats off to the chefs and the creators of these dishes. So innovative while still keeping the familiar Asian flavors! I ordered delivery, so this review was solely based off of the food.

We get inside. We get seated. Look at the menus. Menu shows they had Diet Coke. My daughter and I both ordered one. When it arrived we both thought it tasted weird. I mention it to the server "that's because it's Coke Zero" Diet Coke and Coke Zero are not interchangeable, guests should be made aware of this especially when the menu says Diet Coke and that's what was asked for. Another note, fountain drinks only had one free refill. I ordered fish and chips, my daughter got the ham and grilled cheese sandwich with "fries", my friend ordered the clam chowder and her daughter got the shrimp basket. First, the "fries and chips" were not fries. They were potato wedges. Although potato wedges are fried potatoes they are not French fries. The fish part of my fish and chips wax good. The tartar sauce was sweet and that threw off my taste buds. My daughter and friend's daughter both enjoyed their orders. My friend said she'd give the clam chowder a 6/6.5. I tasted it. It wasn't bad, but tasted more bacon than clam. It was definitely an experience eating here. I forgot to mention when the check came it had a credit card fee on the check without knowing if I was paying with cash or card.
