The food here is great! I love Thai cuisine and this place pleasantly surprised me. The service was attentive but not overbearing. The Tom yum noodles was actually sour which made me happy. I am so glad I found this place. It's definitely a lowkey spot because when I went, it was almost empty. The service was great though as everyone was very kind! I ordered their duck noodle soup and asked for chili on the side to make it spicy. Highly recommend you do so for more flavor. I loved that they had gluten free noodles and the amount of duck meat added. Great portion of veggies in it too. The broth was not overly salted like at other places. I hate giving 1 star reviews, but there was nothing redeeming about the meal we ordered. We ordered on Uber Eats after reading good reviews here on Yelp, but we were unfortunately disappointed upon receiving our order. We ordered the green curry, Chinese broccoli with crispy pork, chicken larb, and basil chicken. EVERYTHING except the green curry was extremely salty. The green curry was actually very bland. The crispy pork that went with the Chinese broccoli was so overcooked, which made me sad because it's one of my favorite dishes. Same goes for the chicken larb and basil chicken - usually my go-to's at Thai restaurants, but soooo salty here. :( Overall, I hope my feedback will help this restaurant make improvements to their food for a better customer experience. read more

Based on the reviews this looked like a safe bet to grab some curry. When the order was delivered it was a small to normal sized portion. I opted for the Yellow Thai Curry with vegetables instead of meat. What came seemed like the basic vegetables in the description - a couple potatoes, pieces of carrot-maybe two pieces of broccoli and some celery and onion. It's the same price to get the standard chicken as the vegetarian option. Usually when I order the vegetable option at other thai restaurants, they add vegetables and they did not here. Not only were there not very many vegetables and mostly potatoes, but they were huge chunks that I had to cut up to eat and not cooked all the way through. I found this restaurant on Yelp since my friends and I wanted to have Thai food for dinner. We ordered different dishes and they seemed to enjoy their food. One of my friends got the pineapple fried rice and really enjoyed it, so I would recommend trying that! I got the kee mao noodles, which were pretty good. We also each checked in on Yelp to get free Thai iced teas (1 per person), which were good. One of my fave Thai spots around the area. Everything in their menu is so bomb. Some of my fam faves are papaya salad, spring rolls (one of the best out there with that extra crunch inside), chicken satay, pad see ew, and my personal favorite is the Chicken Khao Soi. This restaurant is family owned I believe and staff are very nice. Yes prices did go up but overall still reasonable. I've ordered from this place several times now and wanted to share my experience because Bhan Baitong has quickly become my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. I've ordered the pad see ew with beef and the thai fried rice with beef as well. I am a bit of a tomato fiend so I generally like to ask if it is possible for them to also add a bit more tomato if they are feeling generous. They have been happy to oblige the last few times I have requested. The pad see ew is delicious and they do use Chinese broccoli instead of regular broccoli, which is a huge thing for me. The only downside to this restaurant is that they are a bit slow. I take this to mean that since so many people are ordering from them, their kitchen is typically backed up. The food always comes out piping hot since it is made fresh so this is a sacrifice I am willing to make. You can also order from them via food apps but then you'll miss out on the free Thai tea if you check in on Yelp. The drink is full of ice and only comes in like an 8 oz cup, but it is still every bit delicious and worth it since it is free! (53/100--2020) read more

I was really hungry and wanted something small and quick before my workout. Found this restaurant close by and decided to get some rolls. I went with the Fresh Spring Rolls and they were totally satisfying and exceeded my expectations. I ordered for takeout and it did take a little longer than I thought it would. Worth the wait though! I believe they were freshly made rolls :) It's about $11 for 3 rolls, but these rolls are bigger than any other I've had before. So definitely a good value. They were filled with chicken, tofu, a crispy wonton wrapper (rolled up), and vegetables--all wrapped in lettuce, + shrimp, then that is all rolled into the rice paper. I thought it was nicely layered, and each bite had a good amount of filling. It comes with two sauces, one that is a fish sauce with chili and the other is a peanut sauce. Both delicious. I did run out of peanut sauce--will have to ask for two next time which I would gladly pay extra for! So good. I checked into Yelp for a free Thai tea. Good tea flavor, not too sweet. Bhan Baitong makes you feel like you're in Thailand. This will do! Prices are always reasonable even with the slight increase. It's understandable since the pandemic has made it difficult for restaurants. All the noodles are stir fried piping hot and offer a nice char. Just fell in love with the spicy eggplant (a la carte) and the aromatic sauce that they have. It can be 100% eggplant or you can add your choice of meat. The eggplant is stir fried with Thai basil, onion, bamboo shoots, carrots, and mushrooms. I swear, you can get a picky eater to eat this. A few tips.. They take card, offer their own delivery service and are on DoorDash. Please make note that they are limiting 3 people in the restaurant (waiting for food). Food was fine. Service was terrible! If you go in during lunch time, make sure you're handed a lunch menu just as they're supposed to with all the customers instead of being selective. We were one of two customers at the time. She probably thought there wouldn't be any more customers coming in for lunch. We were about almost finished with our meal, when another couple came in and was given a lunch menu without them asking. Since I noticed there was a lunch menu, I asked to see one. The server with the short hair, older in age with glasses, played dumb and was going to bring the regular menu that she gave us when we got there. I told her, no, I'd like to see your lunch menu. I noticed 2 out of the 3 entrees that we ordered were on the lunch menu and it would've came with soup and salad too. The third item we ordered was a pot of soup which was another $16.95. I don't mind paying, if there wasn't a special menu, however, I'm sure many of you would agree that if there is a lunch menu, it should be given without a question. This left a bad taste for me. She played dumb and didn't offer any kind of solution with the exception of saying, "next time." She told me the portion size was smaller. I told her that would've been okay. We had leftovers from ALL 3 entrees that we ordered.
