Bianca's Deli is one of my go to lunch spots when I need something healthy and delicious. My go to is the Three Decker Club House sandwich with pasta primavera. I also like the chicken shawarma and the grilled chicken Caesar wrap. The ingredients are always fresh. The staff is always friendly and professional and they create a welcoming environment. I would suggest calling in your order because it can get busy during lunch time due to the hospitals across the street.

You're very lucky if you find this hidden gem. Friendly family run deli with delicious home cooked food. Even the sauces are the best. Cute casual atmosphere. Service is friendly and very fast. I am sure they are packed for lunch.

    Welcome to Bianca's deli & café. #EastHollywood #LA

Meals and memories are made here at Bianca's deli. Bianca's deli (est 1983) is a small Mediterranean deli cafe in East Hollywood. They serve fresh, healthy salad, wraps, sandwiches, panini and pasta. Furthermore, they offer good breakfast and coffee. They provide exceptional service and food. I came here over Lunch and ordered a Grilled chicken salad and a Pasta Primavera. Food was fresh and satisfying; portions were abundant for their modest price. Staff were assiduous, caring and professional. Overall, I enjoyed their service and food. I highly recommend this deli.

A small Mediterranean joint with exceptional service. Good parking to the rear which is always important in LA ! I did enjoy the food here. It's good, not great....but LA has so many other amazing Mediterranean options soooooo I'm not really dying to come back. I do recommend it if you're in the area and need a quick/easy Mediterranean spot to dine at.

I was on my way to Kaiser Permanente to the lab and I parked on the street and saw lots of people congregating outside Bianca's Deli... definitely a busy place around lunchtime! After I hit the lab, I was a little bit hungry so I went in and ordered something small, their chicken shawarma sandwich. I always enjoy a decent chicken Shawarma sandwich. I remember that I've eaten here before and it was quite good, but on this occasion, the sandwich I'm served isn't grilled or cut off the spit, nor is it really seasoned, things I tend to like. It's ladled out of a bin and they rely on an orangish house tahini sauce to flavor everything. The problem for me this go around was that they put too much of it on the sandwich by a factor of like two and the flavor wasn't like most tahini sandwiches. Still, I see quality dishes around me and I think I could request this with less sauce and it would have been much more to my liking. This is a hard-working, honest family that puts out good food so no need to dock them for the minor quibbles. If you are around Sunset & Vermont and looking for something decidedly not fast food (like the Wendy's just across the way), then this is certainly a healthier alternative with fresher ingredients... Easy peasy parking as they share a lot w the other establishments in the minimall.

We had a nice server, Daniel, who was very attentive and helpful. My sister ordered cheese blintzes and they were served cold in the middle. Daniel took them back and when they reappeared at the table they were hot enough but not piping hot. Sister said they were very good. But two not very large blintzes for about $16, is kind of high. Friend had a Rueben which she said was delish. She also ordered a container of matzah ball soup and the matzoh ball was huge! I ordered a hot corned beef on rye and it was indeed very good. Large enough that half was enough for dinner and the other half was another meal on the next day. I also ordered onion rings. Very good! My dining companions enjoyed some of them too and there were still a few left to take home with my sandwich! I had a few of my friend's steak fries, they were good also. The prices are high here. Guess you have to go with the flow in a world-famous place! There is a small bakery counter near the front door. We bought two danishes to take home. OMG, the chocolate and almond danish was absolutely a 6 on a scale 0f 1-5! Also got a bear claw and it's terrific too. But the other was great. Notice I said was; my sister and I shared it. Didn't tale too long for us to decimate it! This was an experience for sure. If ever I get to LA again, I will be sure to get a chocolate and almond danish!

The matzo ball soup was fine, not super flavorful and didn't have enough salt for me personally (the saltine crackers did help though). The sandwich was not bad at all, good sauerkraut tang and the pastrami was well seasoned. The rye bread also have a crunch. I think the main issue I had was just mainly the price: for around 25 bucks for the sandwich I would have expected a larger portion but it wasn't too big. I haven't been to many other Jewish deli spots before and I know Katz is more expensive than here but the sandwich I had when I visited Katz was easily twice as large . Overall, i did think the sandwich was serviceable here it wasn't my favorite considering the price.

I ordered the Black Pastrami Reuben, and this was really yummy! The pastrami itself was juicy, tender, and loaded onto the sandwich along with sauerkraut. It was delicious on its own, but I asked for Thousand Island dressing on the side so I could dip the sandwich into it and that combination was heaven. The tangy, creamy dressing with the rich pastrami took it to another level! You can also get the classic hot pastrami if that's more your style. The Club Sandwich was also really good. This is more of a classic, straightforward deli sandwich and it's hard to go wrong with it when you're craving something familiar. But the biggest surprise for me was actually the cabbage coup. I wasn't expecting much, but wow. It's a sweet comforting soup made with meat and cabbages, and I found myself absolutely loving it. I have no idea how much sugar goes into that broth, but there's something about the sweet flavor that just works. You can order a small bowl, and I'd definitely recommend giving it a try if you're curious. I also asked for bagel chips and pickles which were really fun to snack on. The salmon bagel and whitefish bagel were perfectly fine, but neither was particularly memorable compared with the pastrami or soup. I think this place is worth a visit if you're in Northridge and craving a classic deli meal. I'm definitely excited to go back and try out some other things on the menu.

The Godmother is good but disproportionately acclaimed, and I'd never wait in line to get it. Thankfully, it's easy to order ahead. I did this through DoorDash on the drive over to Santa Monica, where we were already headed to catch a Sunday afternoon play. We walked in and saw the zoo at the deli counter, then learned that DoorDash pick-ups were in a different corner of the grocery. There was a confusing sign that indicated "catering & on-line pick up around the corner to the left," which in its ambiguous phrasing, led me to a place I wasn't supposed to go (it was apparently only for catering orders, but what about "catering & on-line pick up" excludes DoorDash orders?). A snippy employee cast me out and completely ignored my explanation about the sign. But other than that, the pick-up was quick and painless, much better than waiting in that line. It was like going to the DMV with an appointment vs. without (one of my favorite Broad City gags). We looked around the store, which was quite nice, a sizable gourmet grocery with lots of wine, deli goods, tinned fish, etc. My husband bought a lemonade and learned that Bay Cities doesn't take credit cards. (He was able to use an ATM card.) We took our pick-up order, bagged in a maximal amount of plastic, and grabbed one a handful of shaded tables in front of the store. We'd planned to take our sandwiches to a park, but this was a pleasant place to eat. I got the Godmother with the works: prosciutto, ham, capicola, mortadella, Genoa salami, and Provolone; hot peppers (you can also get mild), Italian dressing, mayo, yellow mustard, lettuce, onion, tomato, and pickles, all on a fresh Italian roll. The bread was great, sturdy with a good crunch, and I liked the sandwich well enough. It was OK+ for sure, just not really a standout in my map of Los Angeles sandwiches. I also ordered a side of snap pea salad, with fresh snap peas, mandarin orange, black sesame seeds, sesame oil, and salt. I love snap peas but I guess I don't love them quite this raw and underdressed. This was a disappointment. If I lived in Santa Monica, I might go to Bay Cities more than once every 16 years. But unless I'm still missing something, it's not really worth a drive.
