Nice deli close to the hospital. First time orded philly cheesestake. Should have listened to advise, it's an acquired taste. Thin slice of deli roast beef, not sure if there was any cheese, but mostly rice in a pita. I would not even call it a cheesestake as it sets up wrong expectation. Second day, tried the great panino. This was better, but still with a very thin slice of the same roast beef. Asked for hummus and pita side. Paid before the order was ready. Left no tip for a take out. Got the hummus, but no pita. Even asked where is the pita and was told it was packed with the panino. Open box, no pita. Hummas was tasty. Probably pass next time. Check your order before leaving. read more

I just love this place so much! I called in an order for a Caprese sandwich with Greek salad and a pasta salad on the side. While on my way to pick it up, I got a call that they had ran out of mozzarella and they couldn't make my sandwich. But dad to the rescue! The owner (dad) went to go get mozzarella cheese just so I can have my caprese sandwich! He even walked me out with a short convo and a smile! I really enjoyed the family vibe and comfort of this restaurant. The sandwich and salads were delicious as well and made me happy since I could tell the mozzarella was fresh. All I wanted was a tuna sandwich We were up in Los Angeles for a concert and for some reason I couldn't find any where that had a tuna sandwich! Found Bianca's Deli by Yelp and so glad we did! Just hiked Griffith Park. Nikol even accidentally made me a gyro wrap but quickly made me a delish tuna wrap. Everything was great! Family owned which adds to the atmosphere. Service is on point. This little gem is tucked away in a the parking lot of the Wendy's across from the hospital. Every guest that walks in gets greeted by what seems to be the owners that are also up front making the food. They have a very great menu with a lot of variety. I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap with a side of chips and a drink. The food taste great and fresh my only complain is that I would have loved more lettuce in the wrap. Seemed like the chicken to lettuce ratio was a little off for my liking but over all great wrap. The place it's cute and looks very clean. Looks to be a popular spot among the hospital staff across the street. read more

I was on my way to Kaiser Permanente to the lab and I parked on the street and saw lots of people congregating outside Bianca's Deli... definitely a busy place around lunchtime! After I hit the lab, I was a little bit hungry so I went in and ordered something small, their chicken shawarma sandwich. I always enjoy a decent chicken Shawarma sandwich. I remember that I've eaten here before and it was quite good, but on this occasion, the sandwich I'm served isn't grilled or cut off the spit, nor is it really seasoned, things I tend to like. It's ladled out of a bin and they rely on an orangish house tahini sauce to flavor everything. The problem for me this go around was that they put too much of it on the sandwich by a factor of like two and the flavor wasn't like most tahini sandwiches. Still, I see quality dishes around me and I think I could request this with less sauce and it would have been much more to my liking. This is a hard-working, honest family that puts out good food so no need to dock them for the minor quibbles. If you are around Sunset & Vermont and looking for something decidedly not fast food (like the Wendy's just across the way), then this is certainly a healthier alternative with fresher ingredients... Easy peasy parking as they share a lot w the other establishments in the minimall. read more

This is my favorite deli!! All of them are so nice. They make you feel like family every time you go inside. Their food is also absolutely delicious all the time! I've always got the deluxe salad w chicken. I finally ordered something else today lol the Reanna sandwich and it was so good. The reason I'm four stars is because I'm new to this area. I came to this area for a visit. And I food. And it's very hard to find comfort food in a city you're not used to. So I wanted something that I knew I was gonna eat, but also be comfortable eating it. I found this little. I and Pop shop. They were very friendly and welcoming. As soon as I got there, it got crazy busy. I checked the reviews and everybody was raving about their sandwiches. So I got one for me and my mom. Again, I'm from LA but I live in Downey. So I literally went over there for doctors appointment and then ended up getting four and they're actually really good. The flavors together are really good and it's what I'm comfortable with. The staff very friendly and welcoming. Even though they were crazy busy, they make sure that you were taken care of and that there was no issue. By the time I left, they were crazy super busy! It's a solid place for sandwich's. My favorites are their tuna and the Reanna's Special. I would pass by here for lunch on my break. You can't go wrong for the prices here. They get a lot of the medical community here since they're super close to the hospitals. The one drawback I think was their gyro panini. I didn't like it too much, it was just too busy for me with all the different sauces stuffed inside. However there's still more I hope to try whenever I pass by. read more

This place is tucked behind a street-facing unit and hidden behind the big Wendy's across the driveway. I usually come for lunch. I'd suggest coming before noon if possible because the line gets long for the lunch rush. Their salads are so delicious. I absolutely love their Greek dressing, which they told me was made fresh in house, so I usually get any salad that has that dressing. It's a small business and their staff are extremely hospitable. Order, pay, grab a seat, and they will bring you your food. I usually prefer sitting outside because it's a bit crammed inside, especially when there is a long queue. I mean it when I say I have genuinely never been as impressed with a restaurant as I am with Bianca's Deli. Placed a large order for a business meeting across the street and I'm so pleased that we did. First of all, the restaurant itself is so charming and lovely - it's clean, bright, and perfectly decorated for a wonderful neighborhood cafe (and god knows we need more of that around here). The family that runs the place is so wonderful and hardworking, let me set the scene so you get what I mean: my coworker and i could barely walk into the restaurant with how busy it was. Besides our large order, they were bombarded with lunch-hour chaos, as well as a last minute 80(!!!!!!) person catering order. However, the composure and poise they handled themselves with was genuinely astounding to see. Serving people with dazzling smiles and personalized attention, all while handling each order with precise finesse. Despite all the craziness, they got our order out (even with some modifications) PERFECTLY, without a single misstep. Niko even offered my coworker and I a drink for waiting a tiny bit, which he really didn't have to do cause we were happy to be patient (thank you Niko!). And finally, the food itself was really delicious - I mean like I realllllly enjoyed my meal and so did my coworkers. This place is quite popular and as it should be! You can see a lot of regulars come in and chat with the staff while they prepare their food. Was on my way to get some FF at Wendy's, when I saw this humble little shop right in the same little plaza. Saw teams of people swarming, so naturally I was intrigued. Found out it was a Mediterranean deli with all the goodness that part of the world has to offer. Stepped inside this modern and very clean place. I was greeted immediately by and older gentleman who apparently owns or is the co-owner of this quaint family run deli. All who worked there were attentive and courteous. Broad smiles, amazing personalities and outstanding customer service. The menu had a wide variety of deli type items that specialize in wraps, salads and sandwiches from the specialties Mediterranean to your normal deli food. Walked back to work across the street with my Greek Gyro and two dolma's (stuffed grape leaves), sat down and from the first bite I was in heaven. Amazingly well seasoned and flavorful. Such a great mom and pop store! I've only heard great things about this deli cafe and for years I haven't taken the time to stop by. Luckily yesterday I decided to stop by to pick up a sandwich and boy was it busy!! I could believe there was a decent line to order, but luckily with the efficient staff- I got my sandwich within 30 minutes. However, I would definitely consider calling in out placing an online order next time. Overall, the sandwiches were delicious! Pricing is reasonable especially in LA. I love how everything is made fresh to order. While they ran out of the Bianca special by 12:30pm, I was able to try their reanna's special and ordered a Reuben fit my husband. Tucked away in a quiet niche is this great bistro that is very busy but very organized. There is a nice range of food options that all look quite tasty. We split the turkey panini, and I was able to get a Canada Dry ginger ale so plus on that. Very delicious panini as the bread was toasted perfectly and a great spread for some tangy flavor, along with a side cucumber salad, most refreshing from the usual burger and fries, and more heart and gut healthy.
