Crispy chicken caesar wrap was outstanding.
    Craig W.

This tiny, tiny spot serves up some big sandwiches with big flavors. We visited the location on Melrose. Good luck with parking which is insane in this area. Order online and have some jump out of the car to pick up your order. There is no seating inside but maybe a chair or two outside. The neighborhood is a little rough around the edges so you may want to get that food to go. We tried three sandwiches and they were all huge. The crispy chicken caesar wrap is phenomenal and I am not one who usually orders this particular sandwich anywhere. It comes with a creamy sauce that I might have drank directly from the little cup. The wrap is packed full of chicken and it is refreshing and excellent. It doesn't look huge but trust me, the wrap is packed full and you will be plenty satisfied. The Antonia sandwich comes with turkey, cheese, avocado, tomato, and garlic aioli. It isn't all that unique a creation but for what it is, it is very fresh and very good. It came loaded with delicious turkey. The Martha sandwich (chicken salad, apples, fennel, argula, herbs, etc.) is on special right now. Personally, I am not a big chicken salad guy but you get a lot of it and the person in our party who ordered it liked it a lot. We also tried the arancini and they were excellent. You get three arancini balls and fantastic vodka sauce on the side. This is a winner. To be honest, practically the entire menu sounds great to me. They have quite a few locations and I feel like I will be trying them again soon.

I had seen Ggiata talked about on social media and having been in the area with my friend from out of town, we arrived here on a Friday afternoon for lunch. Parking in Koreatown is always an adventure but we were lucky enough to find free street parking a block and 1/2 before on Marathon. You order inside at the counter and it seemed like most people come here for takeout, there is back patio available outdoor seating. We waited in the back though for about 25 mins for our sandwich and salad which when I went inside to inquire about, even the cashier thought was odd so maybe this was just a weird fluke? The Eggplant Parm 5/5 OMG latest obsession !! Beautifully toasted bread plus well fried but not overdone spicy eggplant, melts in your mouth

Solid sandwich spot in the area. They have a breakfast menu, and they're open for dinner too. Parking is hard to find. If you're driving, you should order ahead because there is a wait. I got the prosciutto panini, which had hints of sweet, salty, and spicy throughout. Highly recommend. No indoor seating Back patio has plenty of seating and counter seating with water and napkins Bathroom available (one room)

Best chicken caesar wrap of LA. Cool and unique outdoor patio to eat. Have ate this prob at least 30 times. Great service as well. Parking can be a little hard to get but it's worth it.

I came specifically to try the wrap, and while it was good overall, I was hoping for a little more. The chicken seemed slightly overcooked, which made it a bit tough. That said, everything else looked really delicious, so I'll probably try something different on my next visit. I'm definitely still interested in coming back to explore more of the menu.

Looking for a great solid sandwich option? You've found it. Pricey for a sandwich but you do get a good portion size and they aren't stingy with the meat. My only complaint is that they don't do substitutions with any of their options. Still don't know the reasoning why - but that's what I was told. Usually I would switch out any pork for turkey. I usually gravitate towards anything Italian when it comes to subs.... But I am so happy with their crispy chicken Caesar wrap! It's fresh, filling and flavorful. Their interior decor is fire! Lots of memorabilia to look at as you patiently wait on your order.

It was my first time here and it was amazing. We had the crispy Caesar wrap and it was busting at the seams. It was so perfect for a beach day or picnic in the park. We also tried the arancini and the vodka sauce is to DIE for. I would definitely recommend getting those for an app. I also tried the desserts and the cinnamon roll is so so good.

The Burr ($16): The bread leaned on the tougher side, and the whole thing ended up giving me Subway vibes.

Ggiata is one of those spots that I want to love, but just can't quite get there. The interior itself is clean, cute and the service is quick. The menu is vast and interesting -- and the reason I've visited about 4 times now -- but each visit has me wanting a bit more to be desired from the food. A quick note on seating, there's one 2-top inside, and a back patio, but parking in the area is limited, so expect to eat in your car or elsewhere. Here's what I ordered on my most recent visit on Dec 29, 2025: The Burr ($16): The bread leaned on the tougher side, and the whole thing ended up giving me Subway vibes. The Meatball Parm ($16): The meatballs were good, pesto was light and nicely complimented by the fresh basil. Unfortunately, the bread was very tough and sandwich itself was pretty small. The Lorri ($16): The eggplant cutlet flavor was good and worked well with the roasted peppers and balsamic glaze -- but the cutlet was cold, and both the roasted broccolini and bread were really tough to chew. Other items I've ordered on past visits: The Crispy Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap ($16): Solid. One of the better caesar salad wraps I've had, and it holds really well together while eating. The Honey Mustard Chicken Sandwich ($16): The honey mustard dressing flavor was light and helped cut the sandwich's richness, but the cutlet was cold and tough.

    Cheesecake to go!

Always good food and hospitality. Love the sandwich specials. Nice spacious back patio sitting.

Heard lots of great things about Ggiata online, so we decided to pop by on a rainy day. I got the eggplant parm! I loved the crispiness of the eggplant cutlet and the toastiness of the sesame bread. The marinara was just your classic/standard red sauce. I think I should have ordered the Lorri instead because I enjoyed the eggplant part of the sandwich, but everything else got heavy pretty fast. Still a satisfying meal on a cold day! I don't know if I would come back because parking was hard to find on the street and I think I prefer other sandwich joints. I still think this is worth a try if you love sandwiches. I believe most of their seating is outdoor and there's just one table for two inside.

Two different specials (I can't remember their names)

We loved it! I am already craving another sandwich from here and it's only been 24 hours. We tried their specialty sandwiches and we obsessed with each of them. They had the seeded rolls which was a nice touch. Service was good. They had an adorable back patio where we could sit to eat, they had all the essentials back there (napkins, forks, water, to go boxes). Parking sucks but that's not their fault.

    Sarah M.

Stop by to pick up the spicy p, they were out of their their normal sesame baguette and instead it was a ciabatta. So I'm not sure if the sandwich flavor would change with the taste of the sesame. But the sandwich was still pretty good, I added chili's to it. There's one tiny little table which seems more for picking up but not really a spot for you to eat. Also got a limoncello cupcake, I didn't care for the frosting on top of it so I would not order that again. Service was nice and fast. I was able to find parking right up front but I can see that being an issue for others.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant for sandwiches! Whenever I have a beach day, I always make sure to stop here, grab a sandwich, and head out. Honestly, I like so many of the sandwiches here that it's hard to pick just one--you really just have to come and try them for yourself. You won't be disappointed!

Do they really not have any vegan options?

Yes they have vegan options. Request they eliminate the cheese. The “Lorri” without cheese is a perfect Vegan choice. It’s so delicious! I have ordered it many many times. Enjoy!

    Gluten free options?

They now have GF bread! Finally!!!

    Is there GF bread avail?

    Yes!!! There's GF bread now.

Are there options for vegetarian/vegans? Can one modify sandwiches to their liking with established sandwiches?

They have a vegetarian option but not vegan also I think it's a preset menu , I haven't asked to personally customize the sandwich, I just order what's on the menu

This location on Wilshire Blvd in Koreatown is the smallest of the three I've visited, with under 10 seats available. It's a compact shop, and most customers opt for takeout. It's a narrow shop, and most customers take their orders to-go. I've previously enjoyed the La Paradiso and La Toscana, with the La Paradiso being my personal favorite. For our first visit with our son, we asked the staff for recommendations, and they suggested either the Venice Beach (Turkey) or the New Yorker (Roast Beef). The staff was incredibly generous, offering a roast beef sample, which our son loved! We also appreciated them providing ice and straws for our water. We ordered the New Yorker ($19.00) with roast beef, porcini cream, tomato, and arugula. The sandwich was thoughtfully cut in half, perfect for sharing. The schiacciata bread boasts a crispy exterior and a soft, chewy interior, which beautifully complements the meats and cheeses. We opted to substitute the porcini cream for mozzarella, which was sliced into perfect bite-sized pieces and tasted incredibly fresh. The roast beef was thinly sliced and tender, the tomatoes were fresh and sliced to perfection, and the arugula added a delightful peppery crunch. It's a well-balanced sandwich and one of the best in LA. We would definitely order it again. A big thank you to the female staff member who expertly cut the meat and offered samples, assisting us in making the perfect choice for my son's sandwich. This experience was truly a positive one for our family. I would definitely return to AAV for the excellent food and service. Given the small size of the shop, takeout is recommended, especially during peak hours. The sandwiches at AAV are so good! Fuggedaboutit!

Not really sure what bread specifically but seemed a bit like French rolls. Crunch crusts with soft middles which helped to cradle the fillings and absorb the delicious meat juices. The pastrami was great and not overly salty. It had a great zing from the crunchy pickles and mustard. The Philly was nice and gooey. The beef had great texture and was dripping with flavor (literally). Both were very good but I personally liked the pastrami better. If you like meat though, neither will disappoint. We will be back to try the other sandwiches. The only down side to our visit was buying sodas at the store. Their prices weren't listed and in my head, I expected them to be $3 or so. The Mexican Coke and small bottle of lemonade were each $6. $20 for a sandwich isn't cheap, but it price didn't make me gag--but I almost physically gagged when i saw soda prices ring up.
