Always good food and hospitality. Love the sandwich specials. Nice spacious back patio sitting.

I had seen Ggiata talked about on social media and having been in the area with my friend from out of town, we arrived here on a Friday afternoon for lunch. Parking in Koreatown is always an adventure but we were lucky enough to find free street parking a block and 1/2 before on Marathon. You order inside at the counter and it seemed like most people come here for takeout, there is back patio available outdoor seating. We waited in the back though for about 25 mins for our sandwich and salad which when I went inside to inquire about, even the cashier thought was odd so maybe this was just a weird fluke? The Eggplant Parm 5/5 OMG latest obsession !! Beautifully toasted bread plus well fried but not overdone spicy eggplant, melts in your mouth

It was my first time here and it was amazing. We had the crispy Caesar wrap and it was busting at the seams. It was so perfect for a beach day or picnic in the park. We also tried the arancini and the vodka sauce is to DIE for. I would definitely recommend getting those for an app. I also tried the desserts and the cinnamon roll is so so good.

Solid sandwich spot in the area. They have a breakfast menu, and they're open for dinner too. Parking is hard to find. If you're driving, you should order ahead because there is a wait. I got the prosciutto panini, which had hints of sweet, salty, and spicy throughout. Highly recommend. No indoor seating Back patio has plenty of seating and counter seating with water and napkins Bathroom available (one room)

Looking for a great solid sandwich option? You've found it. Pricey for a sandwich but you do get a good portion size and they aren't stingy with the meat. My only complaint is that they don't do substitutions with any of their options. Still don't know the reasoning why - but that's what I was told. Usually I would switch out any pork for turkey. I usually gravitate towards anything Italian when it comes to subs.... But I am so happy with their crispy chicken Caesar wrap! It's fresh, filling and flavorful. Their interior decor is fire! Lots of memorabilia to look at as you patiently wait on your order.

Drove 25 mins in traffic to be able to pick my lunch. Arrived back to my job and realized they had not put any Caesar dressing nor did they add it on the side. So disappointed and frustrated to have to eat plain lettuce. This was not worth spending $17 on a salad. Such a huge let down. This isn't even enjoyable

The Meatball Parm & The Chicken Parm

The meatball parm and chicken parm were absolutely delicious. The meatballs were tender and flavorful with an amazing pomodoro sauce, fresh mozzarella, and basil that tasted incredibly fresh and high quality. The chicken parm was just as good with a juicy, tender chicken cutlet with a crispy breading that held up perfectly with the sauce and cheese. The bread had a great crunch, the sauce was excellent, and you could really taste the quality ingredients in every bite. Definitely one of the best parm sandwiches I've had.

The Burr ($16): The bread leaned on the tougher side, and the whole thing ended up giving me Subway vibes.

Ggiata is one of those spots that I want to love, but just can't quite get there. The interior itself is clean, cute and the service is quick. The menu is vast and interesting -- and the reason I've visited about 4 times now -- but each visit has me wanting a bit more to be desired from the food. A quick note on seating, there's one 2-top inside, and a back patio, but parking in the area is limited, so expect to eat in your car or elsewhere. Here's what I ordered on my most recent visit on Dec 29, 2025: The Burr ($16): The bread leaned on the tougher side, and the whole thing ended up giving me Subway vibes. The Meatball Parm ($16): The meatballs were good, pesto was light and nicely complimented by the fresh basil. Unfortunately, the bread was very tough and sandwich itself was pretty small. The Lorri ($16): The eggplant cutlet flavor was good and worked well with the roasted peppers and balsamic glaze -- but the cutlet was cold, and both the roasted broccolini and bread were really tough to chew. Other items I've ordered on past visits: The Crispy Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap ($16): Solid. One of the better caesar salad wraps I've had, and it holds really well together while eating. The Honey Mustard Chicken Sandwich ($16): The honey mustard dressing flavor was light and helped cut the sandwich's richness, but the cutlet was cold and tough.

I heard the food here was good and I HAD to drop by. Not only was the sandwich incredible, the Echo Park location was chic, and their employees were so kind. They truly make this place worth coming back. Shout out to Monica for being super friendly and welcoming!!

Man, I absolutely love this spot every time I bring a new friend here they can't wait to come back again. It's incredible. I love the vibe and energy. We lucked out and got incredible service with our friend Troy; and y'all really made my day. Thank you for the lunch and desserts.

One of the best sandwich shops in LA! My favorites are The Antonia, The Spicy P, and the Arancini. I really want to the recipe for the spicy vodka sauce the arancini comes with. Haven't tried any of the wraps but the bread is so chewy and good that I could never choose a wrap over sandwich! The service is pretty quick and the restaurant is clean and has a friendly vibe.

Finally tried the chicken Caesar wrap and it is SO GOOD! First of all, the tortilla has a nice chewy texture to it. The wrap is super balanced in chicken, veggies, and these crunchy croutons. They also fill every piece of the wrap, so each bite is perfect! And the Caesar dressing is herby and packed with flavor!

Heard lots of great things about Ggiata online, so we decided to pop by on a rainy day. I got the eggplant parm! I loved the crispiness of the eggplant cutlet and the toastiness of the sesame bread. The marinara was just your classic/standard red sauce. I think I should have ordered the Lorri instead because I enjoyed the eggplant part of the sandwich, but everything else got heavy pretty fast. Still a satisfying meal on a cold day! I don't know if I would come back because parking was hard to find on the street and I think I prefer other sandwich joints. I still think this is worth a try if you love sandwiches. I believe most of their seating is outdoor and there's just one table for two inside.

Two different specials (I can't remember their names)

Do they really not have any vegan options?

Yes they have vegan options. Request they eliminate the cheese. The “Lorri” without cheese is a perfect Vegan choice. It’s so delicious! I have ordered it many many times. Enjoy!

    Gluten free options?

They now have GF bread! Finally!!!

    Is there GF bread avail?

    Yes!!! There's GF bread now.

Are there options for vegetarian/vegans? Can one modify sandwiches to their liking with established sandwiches?

They have a vegetarian option but not vegan also I think it's a preset menu , I haven't asked to personally customize the sandwich, I just order what's on the menu

During a…read morelazy afternoon after visiting the Pantheon in Rome, we had our first experience with All'Antico after taking a 5 minute walk down the road. They actually had 2 separate locations flanking the pedestrian road, so there were two long lines snaking out in opposite directions. While we were waiting in line, we bumped into a couple from Spain who were also visiting. They gave my wife some personal recommendations, advising we get the blood orange soda with our sandwiches. After getting said sandwiches (the La Paradiso), we nibbled on them while walking to Sant'Ignazio of Loyola Church, which is that cathedral where there's a mirror directed up towards the murals on the ceiling and a huge selfie line. Hot damn were those sandwiches good. The thinly sliced mortadella paired perfectly with that buttery, green pistachio spread. The only challenge for my taste buds was the mild oral trauma I sustained from punching through the crispy bread; your gums started to feel it by the time you devoured your sandwich. But we liked it so much that when we later took the train to Florence, we sought All'Antico again at their original location. I thought that would be my last experience with All'Antico (unless, of course, I came back to Italy). So imagine my surprise when later that year I heard All'Antico had coincidentally opened a branch in Los Angeles, although rather awkwardly situated in Koreantown. Even though we live 30 minutes away, we made the drive immediately. There was no way this remote All'Antico location, thousands of miles from Italy, would live up to the experience I had in Rome earlier that year. But I was mistaken. Not only is the taste spot on, but the bread they serve is actually chewier and removed the gum calisthenics I suffered in Italy. And yes, they also have the blood orange soda as well. It's a little weird their location is in Koreatown, but not a big deal; we'll usually do a bingsu run afterward. Just like their locations in Italy, All'Antico is small but they do have a small collection of bar seats, some of which overlook the staff as they're making your sandwich. Be mentally prepared though to take it to go depending on how busy it is. Parking sucks too; there's street parking only, but if you come on Sunday you don't have to pay. Every so often now, we'll make the 30 minute drive just to relive that slice of Italy we experienced nearly 2 years ago. Thankfully, not a lot of people recognize how good this place is yet, as the lines aren't crazy long like they are in Italy. For all the other Yelpers in on it too, let's keep it our little secret for now.

I mentioned this because we missed it on one of our attempts. Finally, on Sunday evening, my husband and I had a chance to visit Butcher and Booze. Very interesting store, with a delicious smell. There is a huge section of drinks where you can find very unique wines and alcoholic beverages. They also have a section of Japanese drinks, and in another corner, different kinds of unique seasonings, BBQ charcoal, and other BBQ supplies. The staff are very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Next to the drinks section, there are several tables available indoors and two tables on the sidewalk for outdoor dining to enjoy your meals. Their food menu is very interesting, and we tried the Philly cheesesteak and pastrami sandwiches (which they prepare completely in-house from A to Z). The sandwiches were super delicious, juicy, and full of flavor. One thing that surprised me was the amount of salt they used -- it was exactly the right amount, and we didn't get thirsty after eating them. These sandwiches are some of the best we've tried so far, and I highly recommend giving them a try. I noticed a huge samovar (large kettle) and another kettle in the corner of the open kitchen, and I asked about them. Argisht, who noticed my interest and who I believe is behind the kitchen and the delicious food success there, started a very warm and helpful conversation with us and surprised us by serving cups of tea. The tea tasted super soft and delicious. If you have ever tried Middle Eastern tea, you will love this tea. Luckily, they are selling it in the store, if I am not wrong it was Sri Lanka tea, which I have never seen in any store around Glendale or Burbank. Thank you for the great food, awesome store, and very positive and friendly service. With just one visit, Butcher and Booze will become one of your usual spots, so don't miss it!

We came here on Christmas Eve hoping to try their sandwiches but to also buy some meat as a white elephant gift. First off we were greeted warmly by the staff - not just the cashier but every staff member working behind the counter. On top of that, they gave us a shot of cognac for my husband and I to try. We decided to try buy some wagyu burger patties for the white elephant (we ended up winning these back during our white elephant - they were excellent!). The patties were juicy, rich, and so tasty! Can't wait to try other cuts! When we checked out, they offered us two small complimentary bottles of champagne and some produce from their refrigerated area. this was so kind of them to do so. This place is like your one stop shop - hot food, butcher, alcoholic drinks, liquor, and other cooking goods like seasonings, caviar, butter etc. Unfortunately they were not serving sandwhiches that day so we didn't get to try but we will definitely be coming back to try! Thanks so much to the staff and Butcher and Booze for treating us like fam.
