Overall a good spot to grab some authentic Korean food. The inside is casual but modern. The place filled up quickly by noon. There is ample parking in the lot. The menu is limited but highlights some of the popular items such as grilled meat, stone pots, and noodles. You get complimentary iced barley tea and 3 side dishes with your entree. Prices are on the higher side ($17-28) but the spicy chicken and bibimbap were generous portions. The food was fresh and tasty. I loved the presentation as well. Service was a bit lacking. There was only one young female seating people, serving the food, and taking payment all by herself so I felt bad but there was no warmth or welcome when we arrived and it was impossible getting refills on our water and side dishes. Please hire more people during the lunch rush. I saw the other Yelp reviews mentioning a free mochi dessert which I was excited to get but then when you get there, you only get it if you post a 5 star Yelp review right there which felt forced and rushed so I opted out.
Good food, good service. Their Bibimbap was pretty good I love how the rice doesn't entirely get burnt and too crunchy compared to other spots where I've had bimbimbap. We also ordered beef bulgogi which was very delicious, tender and juicy but was unable to get a picture as it came later and we were just hungry haha. Very clean atmosphere and cozy along with kind servers. A good spot but not a 5/5 for me because there was no wow factor that made me have the want/need to go back.
Wanted to try something new, so I wanted to check this place out. The wait times were pretty long when we came on a Friday evening. About a 30-40 minute wait. I ordered cold noodles and gomtang. Cold noodles were okay. The ice melted super fast because it seemed like when they cooked the noodles, they didn't wash it under cold water. So it somewhat diluted the broth. It was honestly very mid, so I'd recommend getting something else. As for the gomtang, it was surprisingly good so I'd recommend getting this instead. I like the barley tea they served instead of water, and the banchan was acceptable. The service was okay, they were fast with serving, however, they weren't too responsive with refills and stuff.
This has become my favorite Korean restaurant in San Diego! Salt and scallion pork is amazing as the hot stone brings out the flavor and fragrance of the crispy rice and pork belly. Yuk jeon is also delicious. Xena and Beck provided excellent service that really impressed us. We will certainly come back again!
Finally got a chance to try this! So glad to have something so close by and don't have to deal with the Convoy parking. We are promptly greeted by Xena and Beck and was provided the menu, barley water, and some side dishes right away. I really like their promptness with when we need something. Food came out pretty fast and omg the salt & scallion pork is a MUST order. Something about this place they have mastered not only the flavor but the crispyness of the rice. Usually people don't like the hard part at the end but here if you stir it from time to time the rice is very crispy in a good way where it's almost like a chip. The Yuk Jeon is a great appetizer - had about 5 pieces and it's really thin slices of beef with a light egg batter on it. The sauce is addictive and really enjoy eating it with the seaweed. Definitely a great addition to Mira Mesa!
First time eating here and I was totally satisfied. Came here with a party of four and was able to be sat right away. I did see a max table of 8, so bring your fam and/or friends. The service was friendly and they were able to give some great food recommends. Everything I ordered was great, but the LA Galbi has got to be my favorite. Ended up going family style for everything we ordered, but the soup is more of a personal serve. Parking is plaza parking so plenty to go around and free. Seating was all on the inside.
Stopped by Bibimboom for a quick family lunch, and we were amazed! We ordered four dishes to share between 7 people and it was just the right amount (with a little bit leftover). All of the entrees were solid, but I think the salt and scallion pork stood out! My favorite was the dessert Peach jasmine bingsoo. Shoutout to Xena, Hana, and Beck for taking care of us!
BibimBOOM! This place was a smash, had a great time catching up with my buddies here for dinner. It was a cozy modern korean spot and was really quiet inside. Started off with some complimentary tea and looked at the menu. I got their bibimbap and it was super good. Nice little balance of protein, carbs and veggies. My friends haven't dabbled in authentic Korean food so I'm glad they enjoyed it. Only downside was that their service was okay. We had a hard time waving down our waiters and they weren't super attentive of our table. Of course when we called them over, everything was fine. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone in the area or visiting.
Yay! I found my new favorite Bibimbap place! A super cozy place situated in a very happening plaza in Mira Mesa. We were here on a weekend. Finding a parking spot can take a while. We were seated in a few minutes after check-in. Jade and staff were very friendly and attentive. We started with bonchon. Kimchi was too good. And then came the pancake which was pasty, slightly crunchy and absolutely delicious. Ended the meal with a hearty bibimbap. It looked so appealing and tasted so amazing.
I parked not expecting much based off the outside of the restaurant. Its in a very un-assuming plaza. But when you walk in it's so cozy and gorgeous! The decor was well thought out. You're seated by a hostess. Then they bring out complimentary barley tea, which was very refreshing. We ended up getting the bibimbab and it came out fairly quick. They gave us some kimchi and another side that I wasn't familiar with. It was a cucumber seaweed salad type of side, and it was also so yummy! Overall the portion size was perfect for two people to share. The only thing I would do next time is asking for a 2nd portion of meat. Will definitely be back again!

Although a bit far from where we live, we would come back if we are in the Mira Mesa area.
Food was yummy, menu was a single page, so simple yet the food was well cooked. Location has ample parking. We had three dishes. The LA Kalbi was perfect, the bibimbop oustanding. Small Korean restaurant in Mira Mesa! They offer complementary barley tea and banchan (sides) with unlimited refills. I came with a party of 5 and we tried the bibimbap, dak galbi (spicy chicken), salt and scallion pork, and bulgolgi. Everything was well marinated with good flavor and the portion sizes were very generous! Our server was very nice and offered us multiple refills of our tea and sides.

Bibimbap- flavors were light and there's salt on the side if you decide you want it more seasoned. The portion size was reasonable. The price is a little higher here than in Convoy area restaurants. The naengmyeon was very chewy, light and refreshing for summer. The dish consists of radish, noodles, half and egg, and ice cold soup. I did wish there was pear and beef though, as I have had in some of the other restaurants. But I'm no expert in Korean food, so maybe this is the standard? The kimchi pancake was a bit greasy for me and texture was "most gummy with a crisp edge." It's chopped up kimchi in a fried batter with a little bit of cheese. I was expecting green onion, to give it texture. This one I will not order again. The banchan dishes are now refillable. Today there was kimchi, cucumber in chunks, and cucumber in shreds. It wasn't a bad meal, but a little bit underwhelming. The seating and decor is quite modern and relaxing to sit in though. The iced barley tea was nice. read more

We tried this place for the first time and enjoyed the experience and great food. Jaden and Beck provided friendly and prompt service, checking on us through the meal and offering refills of water and barley tea several times. The ponchon (side dishes) kept coming out as well. The wait was reasonable on a Sunday night when we arrived (they have a list up front). We got bibimbap, gom tang and salt and scallion pork and all 3 were very good (my favorite was the bibimbap). ---TL;DR--- Pros: good selection and Hot dishes come out with huge servings Cons: big portions so come hungry, we couldn't finish everything between 3 of us and 3 dishes. Bottom line: solid Bibimbap place with friendly service and big portions! read more
We Walked in expecting great soondubu and bibimbap. The food itself isn't bad -- we got gom tang (pork bone broth), dak galbi, and LA galbi -- but everything needed extra salt to bring out any real flavor. Here's the thing: the vibe oversells it. The space feels like a fancier spot with a big, exciting menu, but the actual options are pretty limited. There's real room to grow here with a tighter menu with bolder seasoning would finally match the promise of the room. Maybe more banchan selections or options since two out of three small dishes were cucumber based. Staff is friendly and attentive once they catch a breath. Space is well-lit, but tables are packed close, so expect to hear your neighbor's whole conversation. read more

Found this online for Korean in Mira Mesa. There was a little bit of a wait on Friday night., Was well worth it. Had the bibimbap and the seafood tofu soup. Both were great, I especially liked the Stone pot which made the bibimbap extra crispy and flavorful. They gojujang and the seaweed were a nice touch. YUM! Got the salted pork bowl to go. One thing I noticed right away was that it was a huge portion (thankfully because it seemed pretty pricey at first glance on the menu). It was enough for 2 people in my opinion esp since it's a pretty heavy meal. It came with a sauce and 3 different side dishes as well: kimchi, cucumber kimchi and a shredded cucumber one that I am not familiar with. I don't think is get the pork belly again because it was quite heavy but would definitely go back to try other things! read more
We came here right when the restaurant opened, and Amelia and Hanna were incredibly welcoming. They seated us right away and made us feel at home from the start. The food was delicious and full of flavor, and the portions were generous enough to leave us completely satisfied. We also appreciated the complimentary cold barley tea--it was a refreshing touch! ^_^ The restaurant is spacious with modern décor, and the music creates a great atmosphere. Pleasantly surprised by this little korean joint. Mira Mesa does not have enough korean food so always happy to go support a new restaurant! Located in the plaza alongside dunkin donuts, they are between vape and boba. Plenty of parking in the lot.. just hard to get out when it is post work rush hour on mira mesa. Service was great. Two young guys... neither of them korean but generally very attentive to the restaurant and kind. Great service always makes food taste better Ordered a bunch of things. + Stone bowl mixed rice was the favorite. Love the amount of veggies and the ratio was on point. + Spicy chicken plate was tasty and lots of cheese with the chicken. Could use a couple more rice balls for the dish tho. + Pork green onion bowl was generous in the amount of meat and well seasoned with the sauce. + Kimchi pancake was our least favorite.. but it was still ok to eat. + Kimchi was eh.. the pickle kimchi needed more kimchi power. I love how the rice gets crunchy and makes delicious noorongji.. crispy rice. Definitely left full and would come back! read more

We ordered the salt and pork, bulgogi, the Galbi and the brisket salad. Very tasty overall. The galbi was a bit salty to our taste but well made. Tender . Salt and pork was great and loved getting the crispy rice on the bottom. Brisket salad was good but a bit overly sauced. Next time will ask for the dressing on the side. We went went they first opened. Other than taking our order and bringing food the staff didn't come by again. Had to go up to counter to ask for refill on barley tea. But once asked and for our to go containers the staff was fast. They started us off with 3 banchans. Spicy Cucumber , kimchi, and a shredded cucumber in a sesame sauce. Cucumbers were not as crisp as expected but good. read more
We were excited about a new Korean place not far from our house, bonus that it has a pretty stellar Yelp rating. We decided to try it for dinner on a Wednesday night. Came here at about 7:30pm, place was full. Took about 15 minutes to get a table which is not too bad. I ordered a bibimbap and my wife ordered the seafood tofu soup. Food took a bit to get out, but our server did bring out bonchon quickly, just a shame that it was only a few choices. We went through 2 servings of bonchon before our food arrived. The bibimbap was presented very well, and came with a side tray of condiments, including the requisite gojujang sauce. Unfortunately there was not enough sauce, and the bibimbap was pretty tasteless. I took a few sips of my wife's soup and we both agreed that it was just okay. The interior looks nice since it was recently renovated, and the ambience was nice. The servers seemed very busy and only checked on us once after food came out, and only after we flagged her down. Overall, thefood and service was just okay, maybe we will come back to try again. read more

I was so pleasantly surprised by this place. It's hidden in a small plaza in Mira Mesa, and the interior is very beautiful. The seating was fast, and I appreciate there's not a ton of options on the menu. We had the hot stone bibimbap and the scallion pork meal. The food is very good, and I would come again. They also served barley tea on the side. Our servers were Hannah & Amelia, and they were fast & provided great service. read more

New Korean spot in Mira Mesa! Came on a Thursday night around dinner time and the restaurant was pretty full. Luckily the service was really quick and the workers were really nice! Thank you to Oz and Kyla for being really kind and providing great service! For food, my friend and I tried the Salt & Scallion Pork which was our favorite dish of the night. Also got the LA Galbi and the Bibim Naengmyeon which were good. A lot of food for two people but we did our best. For desert we got one of the mochis and the Peach Jasmine Bingsu which was amazing. Highly recommend the Bingsu! Overall a great edition to Mira Mesa and would definitely come back to try more things on the menu. read more
My first impression upon walking into the restaurant was the cozy vibe of the interior. It is very clean and bright with wood paneled walls and seating. We came on a Saturday night so it was pretty busy. Upon seating, they bring your table chilled barley water which was a nice touch. From the menu, I ordered the galbi which came with a side of rice. The food came out piping hot and within a reasonable amount of time. Both the presentation and the taste of my dish was wonderful and I was very pleased. Price wise, I will say it is fair for the good amount of food they give. The only downside from my group this evening was from my sister who ordered the cold noodles dish. Unfortunately, she said it was difficult to cut the noodles and consume. So probably not the best dish to order here. Other than that, we enjoyed our experience here and would visit again. read more
Love this place! We went two Friday evenings in a row! Every dish we tried was bomb.com. I am a fan! Garlic pork bowl - awesome Eggplant bowl - awesome Bibimbop - awesome & fresh! It is a simple menu, therefore it is easy to make a choice. Due to it being simple, I feel that every option is a solid option. The place is also beautiful, peaceful and clean. We just had to stop and check out this relatively new Korean restaurant in Mira Mesa. The dining room is plain but well-appointed. Servers are friendly and helpful. The aromas coming from the kitchen are great. We ordered Kimchi Fried Rice to go and enjoyed it at home. The wait for the take-out order was under 15 minutes. read more

Came here for a weekday dinner and thankfully there was no wait. That quickly changed 39 min later as people were coming in! The bibimbap was a very large portion but it is $24.50 as of Aug 2026 so they better haha but it was very good. Probably would ask for more gochujang sauce since the rice can be a little dry due to the hot stone plate it's served in. The kimchi fried rice was also good but wish there was more kimchi. Good texture rice and flavor. The inside is very aesthetic with a traditional modern feel. Well done! read more

Cute little restaurant in the Mira Mesa area, same plaza as Cali Baguette. There's plenty of parking but I'm sure it easily gets crowded. The restaurant is small but nice and clean; very calm and pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful with the menu. We ordered a lot of food, essentially almost 1 item per category! Everything came out nice and hot, some items were even sizzling! It was delicious and we left content. read more
I was genuinely surprised by this place. Bibimbap dish is very basic in Korea. It's nothing fancy, but when it is flavored well with the veggies and the meat choices, it can make or break the dish. I think this place honestly hit the spot. We arrived here as soon as they opened. The place itself was very clean. I love the aesthetic of the place. Bathroom was clean, which is always a plus. The service was attentive however, my meal did come out little bit late but now I'm being a little picky because I was hungry. I got their beef bibimbap, and the flavor of the beef and the veggies were great. if I had to pinpoint one negative was their spicy sauce. It really didn't have the kick that I was looking for. They do offer barley tea for free, which I liked. Their side dishes were just OK, but you are not here to eat side dishes. Honestly, just ignore that. I do like that you do have vegetarian option even though I'm not vegetarian. But having options are always a plus. Parking was good, it is shared with other stores, but I didn't have any issue and it is free parking. I would definitely come back and recommend it to other people. read more
