Horrible experience! My car was brought in for service. It wasn't looked at for over 2 weeks. Finally I was told that it needed work done that would cost almost $2300. I declined and when I picked up my car, and paid $172, I found the door handle had been broken off and was sitting on my passenger seat also, the panel under the dashboard was not put on properly. The supervisor, Ed, was not there that day but the man who was there looked at it - he was very nice and apologetic and said they could get the part and fix it - he would have Ed call me. Ed never did call so after a couple of days I called and Ed said he would "research it" and call me back - he never did. I called again almost 2 weeks later and Ed said the car came in like that. It did not! During our conversation it was clear he didn't "research it". He kept changing his story. By the way the work they claimed needed to be done is questionable on top of everything else. I can't even find the right words to express how disappointed I am with this dealership. I am so unhappy with my car and from day one I could tell something was wrong with it. Everytime I bring my car in for service they insist everything is fine. Last time I went in, which was October 10th I was assured they found the problem this time and I needed to do a computer reset (which cost me over $200) and that did not fix the problem it actually feels worse now. Over the summer I brought my car in for an oil change and was there when they opened, but did not get my car back until after 5 o'clock. I also got into an argument with one of the service technicians because my iPod connection no longer works and they insist it's my iPod that isn't compatible, meanwhile it's every single iPod I try to use. He got in my face and yelled at me that I wasn't listening. I dread when I have to go to the service center. I was told I would be getting a survey in the mail about my visit and I never got the survey, they probably didn't want the bad review. When I finally pay off my car I will be trading it in at a Ford and I will never purchase a Chevy ever again. read more

On April 30th 2014, my vehicle, which was in perfect working condition, was brought to Bical Chevrolet for repair of its ignition switch, as described in the recent GM recall. We were told that the repair would take one day. Later that day, we were called and told that "something broke" during the repair, and the car would need to be kept until the replacement part was available, and that it was covered, although no one seemed to able to tell us what exactly had happened the times that both I and my father had called for further explanation. We picked up the car on Saturday, May 10th, with the service receipt indicating that the airbag coil had been replaced as "collateral damage" during the recall repair. We also noticed the leather-covered steering wheel had a small scratch, but decided it was minor and let it go. The car was driven home, and not started until the following evening, Sunday May 11th. Upon attempting to start the car, it was discovered that the remote start did not work, and in order to have any success with using just the key in the ignition, at least a 20 minute wait was required after last pressing the remote start. The car was promptly brought back to Bical Chevrolet the morning of Monday, May 12th, in hopes of this issue being addressed and resolved. After a mechanic inspected the car, we were told the remote start wasn't working. My father informed them that it was working just fine until this repair was made, and so he was told it would be taken to the dealership's "alarm guy" down the block for further inspection. The alarm people said the remote start component near the ignition was "burned out" and would need replacement. At this point, we expected that Bical Chevrolet would have this repair made, as something obviously went wrong during the repair, considering the already-noted "collateral damage", which, after speaking to the GM customer care line, we were outright told means "someone broke something that did not need to be broken in order to make the repair". This was relayed back to Bical Chevrolet. We were told by the service manager that they were not responsible for the damage, as they have no way of knowing that the remote start was not already broken prior to this repair. We were also offered the option of having a new one installed by them for $495. I am extremely frustrated that they will admit to causing damage to my car during what should have been a simple recall repair, and replacing the parts easily obtained by their supplier, but will not replace my remote start because that will cost them money. Be smart and go to a reputable dealer instead of these crooks when you need service! read more

The owner of this dealership must not care very much. Any site you visit they have more negative reviews for just about every department. My dealing was with service. I have a 2018 Malibu and after the engine light went on I called OnStar. They diagnosed a serious problem which they said needed to be addressed immediately. One of the issues was with the gas pedal and the other was the transmission. OnStar advised to bring it into the nearest dealer. When I called the service people at BICAL CHEVROLET they told me that the next appointment was over 8 days away and they had no loaners. I need a car every day. the "Rocket Scientist" I spoke with told me to use the car anyway. Real Smart and Safe advise. I called GM and they said they called Chevy in Freeport and they would be glad to take the car in. And if they didn't have a loaner, since my car is new they would pay for a rental. Sounds like people I want to do business with. Not a dealer like BICAL CHEVROLET OF VALLEY STREAM that think they are doing you a favor. Be smart and stay away from this Dealership. I recently did a review on this place for MICHELLE, whom begged several times to leave her a good review for her, she was nice so of course I did it. Of course after you purchase the vehicle is when they don't give a shit to help you, contact you or return calls. I asked for a AWD and she gave me FWD, i paid the price of a AWD and she refused to help me or talk to a manager for me. She claimed she would and i would call every day and she had no answer so I called to speak to the manager myself, I left a message with the secretary with my number and still the manager never contacted me. I recently purchased a used vehicle from Bical Chevrolet. At first their customer service was great. They offered to pick me up at the train station and were more than helpful as I had a tricky schedule. Unfortunately the help ended their. While the car itself was exactly what I had expected it to be, their customer service was horrible and is costing me time and money. After test driving the vehicle I agreed to pick up the car a few days later. When I test drove it I discovered that the car had not been vacuumed out from the previous owner. Underneath the seats was a pile of garbage. I asked that they make sure to clean it up before I picked the car up. It also appeared that the back seats had not been cleaned and were stained. They agreed to clean the car fully. When I arrived with the check in hand to pick up the car I discovered that the car had still not been cleaned nor had it been vacuumed out. I was then told that the gas tank would be filled before my departure. But when I went to leave it was at most a 1/4 tank full. And then the kicker. I was given a spare set of keys with a remote entry mechanism. Two days after I purchased the car I discovered that the second set of keys that they gave me did not work. I immediately called to ask if they had possibly given me the wrong set of keys. After they did not return my call for five days I called back to ask for the correct keys. I was told that they could not help me and that they didn't even care if I sent them back the extra keys that they gave me. I then called to speak to a manager and have since not heard back. Getting a new key with the remote entry mechanism will cost me over $230 and getting the car professionally cleaned like they had promised me they would do for me will cost another $20. While the car itself is great, the dealership is not. Get you in an out and don't waste your time with a customer who does not need convincing--that clearly is their philosophy. read more

If we could have selected a half of star, we would have. Now, we did not even get the chance to make a deal because my husband had the misfortune to confuse two salespeople that work at Bical. Salesperson 1, who talked to my husband on Tuesday was not available, however, Salesperson 2 was and my husband confused them DUE TO THEIR HAVING THE SAME FIRST NAME. Well, Salesperson 2 was rude, arrogant and condescending when my husband asked his name and if he was the person who saw him on Tuesday. Salesperson 2 did not seem to care that my husband was a potential customer. The credit check that was only supposed to take a couple of hours on Tuesday was not performed and when my husband inquired about why it was not done, Salesperson 2 replied "there was a snow storm just in case you didn't notice". My husband's response was "What does a snowstorm on Thursday have to do with running a credit check Tuesday? Or even Wednesday? Today is Friday" Salesperson 2 abruptly walks away without a response. WTF? We don't need to spend money at this dealership with such unprofessionalism on display FRONT AND CENTER and WE SUGGEST NO ONE ELSE DOES EITHER - Just look at all the NEGATIVE reviews for this so-called business and more importantly, the dealership's so-called responses when they bother to respond at all. read more

On August 25th I was sceduled for a 930am inspection for my 2015 silverado which is my first inspection for my new truck. Long story short I arrived at 9am to do any paperwork that may be needed but the service area was not busy and my truck went right inside and the service rep advised me I would be out in no time becuase it's actually slow right now. As I was waiting in the waiting area 6 people arrived after me and all but 2 where done before me, twice I asked my status and both times went inside the shop and said it will be done in no time they got a little backed up, but I advised I was here before the other customers that left and i had an appointment for just an inspection. Finally my paperwork came out I payed for my inspection and was told my truck would be finished soon finally at 1145am I left over 2 hrs later for an inspection that I could easily went to a local shop to get done and be done in a timely matter. I will be probally be going to paul conte for my needs becuase my other chevy was purchased from there and have had great experiences. I gave bical a chance even after reading reviews becuase my job purchases vehicles from here and was told they do the right thing give them a shot and do not read into the reviews until you experience it yourself, Well I did. I made an appointment 10 days in advance and dropped my Suburban off at 7:30AM to be tested for excessive oil burn. At 5PM I called to find out the status and was told they didn't get to it but it would be first in the morning. I called at 2:30PM the next day because again I never heard from them and was told they were just getting to it. I called again at 5PM because i didn't hear from them and was told they actually didn't get to it yet. No "sorry" or apology just very matter of fact like this is business as usual. Simply the worst. I bought a used car from this dealership on mar.28th 2015. Car ran good for three days, then car started shaking at 50 miles per hour. I called used car manager Chris to bring car back to have it checked. He told me that there would be a $160.00 charge to find problem and then would have to pay to get it fixed. The car had only a little over 84000 miles on it and service should be covered under lemon law. Salesman and manager were of no help. Don't get suckered into buying a car from these people as they have no customer service skills and could not care less about helping customer once they leave. I had my car serviced a few years back and everything ran smoothly, I received updates regularly and was told only after a few hours what needed to be done. This time around was not the same and I'm extremely disappointed. I dropped the car for a simple oil change and a quick review of the car but the main emphasis on an oil change....no one reached out regarding the status. I was told it would be done Friday afternoon...wasn't called on saturday to be told it wouldn't be done till monday morning. Walked in and it still wasn't done, I was told I would have to wait. When I said I would be willing to come back they still didn't reach out to say it was done and I could pick it up. I constantly had to call. Not really a fan. they sold me a camaro with bad headlights, and the entire car shakes when it goes from 4 to 8 cylinder mode they put used headlight bulbs from another car into mine, and swapped out my wheels and tires with those from another car on the lot after the other wheels didn't fix the shaking, they told me the shaking noises are ''normal'' but would look into service bulletins on the shaking. there are also big holes in the door jambs from a shoddy paintless dent removal job, but in all fairness not sure if they had it done or it was the previous ower. within 2 weeks the radiator clamp also rusted out and dumped antifreeze all over my driveway but i fixed that myself because it was less painful than dealing with them haven't heard from them since on the other issues and service manager doesn't return calls read more

Run the other way before you purchase a vehicle from this place. Purchased used 2009 vehicle 2 months ago and the Tire Monitoring System service light comes. I called made an appointment for 9a. I got there 845, 15 minutes before my appointment. I also scheduled an olil change as well since it was time according to the sticker. I was told I didnt have a warranty and that I was going to be charged 169.95 just for diagnostic for the Tire Monitoring System. I explained I just purchased the vehicle 2 months ago and that I did have a warranty. I was told again that I didnt and that I would need to speak to my salesperson, who never came in, or the finance manager. I was so pissed, I proceeded to sit down and wait for the Finance Manager, Keith to come in. As I was waiting, the General Manager, Diana, comes in and ask if she could help me. I explained the situation and she told me I needed to speak with Keith but she could look into it further. By this time, it is 945a. At 1015, Keith, the finance manager comes in. Mind you, Diana never got back to me like she said she would. Diana goes into his office and Im assuming she discussed with him my situation since both of them looked in my direction where I was sitting. Keith gets up, goes outside to smoke a cigarette. Ok, still waiting, after his 10 min smoking session with his coworker, he comes back into his office and gets on the phone. Mind you, Diana is walking back and forth not saying a word to me. I finanlly get up because I had to calm myself down before I let every one have it, and walked to Keith office and knock on his window. He barely knew who I was. I told him I was here because I needed service and was told by the service department I didnt have a warranty. He goes into the system and states, "no you dont have a warranty honey, you never purchased one. I said no, I did because I wrote it down. He is still persistant that I dont have a warranty. Only until I started to raise my voice a little,then he says, Let me go upstairs and check. Comes back down with the warranty paper. Never even apologizing. I go back to the service department showed the receptionist my warranty and she notes it in the system and makes a copy for the file. And as courtsey, she had the mechanic look at the problem without any deductible or diagnostic fees. Its now 1130, oil change is now complete and she stated that the mechanic reprogrammed the Tire Monitroing System. Fine, I left and went about my business. Not even 2 hrs after I left that place, the notification light is back on, The Tire Monitioring system needs service. Unbelievable!!! Now I have to call and make another appointment and deal with these rude, unprofessional people again. Everyone in Bical is so unprofessional and lack customer service, All they want is a deal. After they sell the car to you, its as if they dont know you. And that is what pissed me off. Please look elsewhere if you need a car. This is not the place. sorry I didn't do my homework before financing from this dealer. nothing but problems. salesman Ari promised roof rack and cargo carrier as deal maker. never got them. Juanita sent in the wrong bank code on the title. couldn't get me a lien release from the wrong bank. back and forth to the dealership trying to resolve this problem. lost out on a refinance loan at another bank at half the rate the dealer got me. finally received a duplicate copy of the title now with no lienholder listed. contacted Diana Delaney manager of Bical Chevy, she was looking onto the matter. Ms Devaney advised dmv made the error, which was not the case. she became very rude when I told her my time,effort and trouble were worth more than $60 or 2 oil changes. Car went in for replacement of parts damaged by dealership during a manufacturer defect repair to infotainment system. Three parts damaged were not replaced. Marks still very evident. Service manager tried to explain it away by saying it had to do with the way the piece attaches to the body of the car. I have been forced to involve the BBB to try to get my brand new 2016 Equinox restored to its original condition. This is completely unacceptable behavior from a dealership. My car was was having trouble and I could not get it back to my home state and home dealer so I was referred to BiCal. Ed Collura lied and said they would take care of the care. I informed him that the car was still under warranty and that I needed to return to my home state and he not so subtlety tried to tell me to have it towed. After waiting 4 days, I discovered that they had not even looked at the car. I had to return and have the car taken to my home dealership. They checked the car AND repaired it in under 4 hours. On a positive note, the gentleman who did the check in process and the check out process was very apologetic and looked like he was an unwilling party to a crime. read more

I bought my used 2010 Dodge Charger RT from Bical. My experience went very well. I don't have a single complaint. Got a fair price for my trade in and was satisfied with the purchase price on the Charger. Made the deal same day. I identified some exterior bulb issues and they promised to replace. They couldn't do it that day as the shop was closed when I was there on a Sunday. Plus they had to order the 3rd eye rear break light.. I live far from the dealer so getting it into the shop for install would have required me taking time off work. I asked if they would ship me the parts and I would install myself. They did and I received the parts in a few days. Sale complete. Dave is a great guy and salesman. read more

If you are willing to be promised one thing and get ripped off in the end, then this is the place for you. Of all the dealerships I've purchased cars from, this one lives up to the reputation of having lying, and manipulative sales persons. The General Manager, Diana Devaney is at the top of the list. I ordered a factory built Equinox in May 2012 and was told it would take 4-6 weeks to deliver. The contract price was negotiated and all I had to do was wait. 6 weeks later, no car. When I inquired, I was told that Chevy was no longer building 2012's and that I would get a 2013 at no additional cost, but would have to wait an additional 4-6 weeks. The end of August comes and the car is finally delivered. When I went to pick up the car, Ms. Devaney informed me that the price had gone up due to the increased depreciation of my trade-in. She said that was in the contract even though a previous manager had told me that they wouldn't decrease that amount. Ok, so I was willing to pay the difference. Low and behold, Ms. Devaney comes back with a second increase of almost $1,800. Apparently, now I had to pay the additional price of a 2013 vehicle, even though I ordered a 2012. Not willing to make amends for all the inconvenience caused to me and my family, this woman became very rude when I voiced my displeasure with the way I was being treated. She said that my contract had expired and that the previous salesman who is no longer in this dealership was to blame. It doesn't make a difference if you're a Veteran or not, she's an equal opportunity scammer. If anyone is crazy enough to buy a car from this dealership, be prepared to negotiate one price and pay more when you pick up your car. Worst Car Dealers ever! read more

Extremely dissatisfied with the purchase of our 2018 Traverse. We test drove a lower model and expressed we wanted a Premier and were fully understanding that that vehicle was the one being delivered to us. We signed our papers without even seeing the car and during the walk through expressed my dissatisfaction with missing options we expected. The sales rep told me those only come on the Tahoe not the Traverse, which is completely untrue. We have contacted the dealer and expressed our complete satisfaction with the sales rep, his manager to the dealer manager and they have been unwilling to work with us and even told us that it was "illegal to take our car back and give us what we want, I've even turned down money from them to make it better as we wanted the Premier. To make matters worse, at the same time we also purchased another brand new Tahoe from them, basically last 3 new cars from them but not willing to work with us. Time to move my business to another dealer, I've only owned 20 Chevrolets in my life and 16 of them new from a dealer, their loss. Hope they change their mind as we still want the better vehicle and will pay the difference, not looking for anything free but as time goes on that will change. read more

Let me say that the initial person that I dealt with was very pleasant, but once he went on vacation. Good luck in getting a phone call back. They will try to tell you that everything is wrong with your car to get the extra money....not always true. I brought my car in on October 7 for check engine light and got it out on the 17th light was back on within a few hours. Problem not fixed. Even though they had to deal with my extended warranty through a third party provider. They missed appointments with their adjuster because the one and only one tech was not available there is an entire garage full of techs IJS - approval was given to fix car from warranty company and they told me that my car not be fixed still this place is the very worst. If you have a problem with your car I suggest you go to Rockville Centre to Morrissey Chevrolet they treat their customers well. By the way called this morning and still don't know when I can pick up my car. I will be there first thing in the morning to pick up my car let's pray that its ready. If you ever have a problem make sure you call GMC to report the dealership not sure how much it will help... but maybe GMC will realize this is not a good place. read more

- 10 rating Horrible service department. Brought our Chevy Traverse in for a simple oil change, they damaged the rear quarter panel passenger side, which I did not notice till I got home. Black car with a big dent and a huge blue scuff mark on it. I immeadiately called up the service department and was told impossible, we do not have anything blue on premises. Upon return, every one of their bumper guards onsite are same color blue. The so-called service manger Ed, had his detail department buff out the scuff, but I had to wait 1 1/2, then he told me to bring the car back at my convenience so they can send to their auto body to repair dent. Upon calling them to schedule appointment, never heard back from incompetent Ed, so I called to speak to Ed's superior, some woman, Diane I believe, she said she would follow up but never did. What a way to do business. It's a lease so when we return it it's their problem. Love the product, just not Bical Chevy. Also when I did initially call to inform Ed of the damage, he was very surprised I was calm and not irate, I said hey things happen, but in hindsight, they must get alot of irate people calling them. Sorry I didn't yell initially. Anyway its not worth anymore time or effort. A simple oil change already, way to much energy exhausted. Never again. Bye Bye Bical! read more

I honestly created an account just to warn people from doing business with this dishonest establishment. I bought a brand new Chevrolet Colorado from them that I was promised had a trailering package. When the car arrived, it did not have a trailering package. Based on how pleasant everyone was during the buying process, I mistakenly trusted them and agreed to bring my car back at a later date to get the hitch installed. I brought my car back after waiting 2 weeks and had to leave the car there for 2 days, despite being promised that it would be installed the day I dropped it off. When I went back to pick it up, no hitch was installed. I spoke to their rude manager, who told me that he never agreed to give me a trailering package and "I get what I get". So I left the dealership without any trailering package that was supposed to be on the car when I bought it. What atrocious customer service from Bical and their managers!!! So because I trusted them, and did THEM a favor by agreeing to buy the car and come back to get the missing trailering package installed they conned me! I am beyond infuriated and cannot say enough horrible things about Bical and their management! Do yourself a favor and buy a car somewhere else. When you are buying a car they are all sweet, nice and friendly. But the second you buy the car their true colors come out and they show exactly what big con artists they are. Stated my name then proceed to express the nature of my call... My lease is coming to a end not sure who is the bank because I'm no where near the information. I brought my suburban in for an oil change and to check a knock I heard. After the 27 point inspection I was told everything checked out but my brakes were worn and recomended I change them so I agreed. After picking up my vehicle ( which I only drive on weekends) I noticed a squealing noise when I hit the brakes. When it got worse iI called and made an appt for them to check the noise the brakes were making since it wasn't making any noise before they changed the brakes. The day went by without my vehicle being seen so I had to bring it back the next business day., only to be told the brakes were fine but my hub-bearing were going bad and had to be changed. After a bfief disagreement with the service tech iI ended up having that done. Needless to say my brakes are still making the same noise when I press the pedal. this dealership has the worst service department and customer service department i have ever had to deal with. i took my brand new (8months old) car there for an oil change and front end noise. they checked it out and said it was the alternator. they don't have the part in, so i have to leave my car and wait for next day. next day something happens to driver, they cant get the part. so they say they are sorry but i have to leave my car yet another day, which would be the third day there.. i get upset and tell them that its not fair, n i said this was f**ing bullshit, u cant get another part quicker.. i spoke to general manager and got upset with him and said again this is f**ing bullshit, work with me. n he told me to deal with the dealership i got the car at... which was in bayshore. n he told the service department not to help me because i cursed him out.. okay that never happen. i only said f**in g bullshit. im call u out on the bullshit you are giving out. then i pick my car up. they put 80 extra miles on my car n never told me and used my gas n never returned the gas.. so this place is not to be trusted.... they r the worse, total worse ever. they are nasty and are negative. i will keep writing negative reviews because they don't care. again f**ing bullshit.. ps they said i can rent a car andi have to lay out $250 and then when car is returned i get money refund, yeah okay . i don't think so u cant be trusted. read more
