Was told to leave my car all day and it will be ready. That night it wasn't was told the next day it will be the first car it wasn't ready at the end of the day. I was looking to trade my Hyundai in for a Chevy and came to Bical Chevorlet since last year when I was thinking about it, I had a pleasant experience with Darryl. I called Darryl told him what I wanted, explained a problem with me getting over there at the time and he faxed me the paperwork to run my credit. We spoke after that and I was assured my credit was fine (I'm not convinced he even looked at my credit) and we could go forward with them getting me trade in value. Cool, I go there the next evening they look at my car and tell me I have about $8000 in negative equity but Darryl feels we can still make it work. I sign everything and was told to come in tomorrow to pick it up, I actually couldn't come the next day so we set it up for Wednesday at 12 noon to pick up my new car. I call Wednesday at 11 to make sure we are all set, Darryl wasn't in but they would call him and have him call me back. 30 minutes later no call, so I call again. The girl said he hasn't called but she would try him again and puts me on hold. She gets him on the phone and he tells her I need to speak with financing (really? I'm supposed to be on my way to pick the car up! So yeah, I'm annoyed) I call financing where I get a woman, she asks my name and says oh yes she was supposed to call me but has been busy then tells me, I don't have an approval. Wow really, why didn't someone call me yesterday? She said sorry, but didn't really sound sorry! She said she's still trying to get an approval and will call me back. That was Wennesday, today is Sunday no one has ever called me back, so do I think she's working on getting me an approval, NO! Do you think Darryl has even called me? Nope, I guess he's only nice if you have good credit. I'm moving on, my credit isn't that bad, a dealer who cares will work it out. I will get the car I want at the price I want and at an affordable payment, I wont ever go back to Bical for my future needs. Very disappointing, I've worked with 2 other dealers in the past 5 years and they made it clear they were working hard for me, both times they made it work and I left with 2 new cars. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALER. I leased a 2019 Silverado RST from Bical on 8/31/19. Before I left with the truck my salesman, Raheem, told me that his manager agreed to pay to have a spray in bedliner done for me (~$699) at no cost to myself. Handshake deal. When I called a few days later to setup the bed liner appointment I was told that they made a mistake and could no longer pay for it. After several phone calls back & forth they stopped returning my calls completely. I had to get GM corporate involved & the matter is still not resolved. Bical even had the nerve to ask me to leave them a 5 star review. I suggest everyone go to another dealer where they honor their promises even if not in writing. Now they want to service vehicles by appointments even for an oil change which I personally think they shouldn't include the oil change with that. I just brang my 2007 Saturn Ion to this placet to repair 3 recalls which included the power steering, ignition cylinder and the keys. After waiting 6 hours for the repairs, they brang my car out and told me what they did. I then tried to start my car and it wouldnt start and the lights would go crazy. The mechanic had no idea what was going on so he reprogrammed the ignition switch then the car turned on. I drove home and later last night i tried to turn my car on and it wouldnt start. The mechanic assured me it would never happen again. Now it only wants to work when it wants to and im going straight there early in the morning to fix it. In July I leased a 2015 Chevy Traverse. I dread car dealership's, but I have to say Bical has changed my outlook. I advised them how much I wanted my payments to be and how much I wanted to put down. Nick Classi and the GM Diana made it happen within 15-20 minutes. I literally got what I wanted, at the price I wanted without the back and forth and the hassle with finance over credit scores. Nick Classi had everything set up for the day I picked up the car so that I was in and out of finance within 5 minutes and left the dealer within 30 minutes of getting my car. Fast forward to May 2016 and my sister in law had the same experience with Nick Classi. He is the most professional, personable, and truthful sales person I have ever encountered. Their service department is the absolute worst! I have been having the same problem since February 2018; coolant leak and my car is in the shop just sitting there for two days. And every time I go there is an obnoxious fee I have to pay out of my pocket because they are not fixing the problem. I am not careless at all I drive my car to and from work, to and from my daughter school and to grocery and errands all local places. They do not even offer a rental car that's even more money out of my pocket nor do they call to update on the vehicle or when it's ready. I always have to call and be put on hold for at least 5 mins. Our sales woman Nova was so warm and friendly from the moment we stepped in the door. We mentioned to her that our leases were coming due soon and we are trying to prepare for it ahead of time. She asked us if we were interested in getting out of our leases early and getting into new cars. She made the whole process as easy as possible. The level of service was fantastic Nova was the best she made all the arraignments ahead of time because we have a three year old and that's not always an easy thing to have them sit for hours at a dealership. Trying to find parking for this dealership is like most, harder than finding a needle in a haystack. Luckily when my mom and I went it was after 6pm, so we could park at the meters for no cost. We were greeted by Ryan Smith. When we explained that we were interested in the Cruze and had previously been in the sedan, but saw online that the car comes in both a sedan and a hatchback. He said that he had never seen the car in the hatchback(we later went to other Chevy dealerships and TWO had the hatchbacks). He showed us the sedan and explained how ApplePlay works on the Cruze. He went to work-up the price after we explained that we had GM points, he came back with pretty much the lowest price that we had gotten. Absolutely horrific customer service in the repair department. They treated my mother in law so dismissively when she needed her heat looked at in the car. All she needed was a simple answer to a problem that could've possibly been corrected in a few minutes. Instead they told her to go back to the dealership where she purchased the car in Huntington or wait a week. (Huntington dealership told her she could bring the car to any Chevy location but that's besides the point.) Avoid this dealership at all costs- even their salespeople are untrustworthy. They once told my mother in law her credit was bad and gave her a high lease price- meanwhile her credit score was over 800!! Stay away from this dealership at all costs. THE WORST EVER. The salesperson, Terrence, did not know what he was doing & constantly pulled the "let me ask my manager" trick. They make you wait around for hours while your patience gets exhausted and show you various versions of the same paperwork. They took in a trade-in from us without paying off the balance of the lease due; an issue we asked about specifically over & over. They had us sign a mileage acknowledgement and that was all. 30 days later we received a bill for over 3K from Chase financial for the outstanding balance due. Bical wasn't responsible because they conveniently did not have us sign the required paperwork to COMPLETELY take in the trade-in. Us being inexperienced at leasing cars, we were hoodwinked. My mother bought a certified used GMC Envoy last year from this dealer. So far, she had to sink about two thousand into fixing things that broke down. Today her truck died at a gas station ( thankfully) bec , she now has to wait for a new battery. The people she speaks to don't help, try to make her pay for things and even told her that her grill is supposed to be crooked ( one side hanging lower than the other) and won't fix it w/ her paying.REALLY????? Bought a 2013 Sonic here and it was the worst experience of my life and I've been buying new cars since 1988. They messed up Everything possible. Insulted me with the trade in value, didn't know the difference between a Sonic and a Spark, screwed me on the interest rate, thought the car had a CD player (it didn't), wouldn't even contact GM Card to see what my Rebate was (and gave me a wrong number to call), the salesman and the detail-guys got into an argument over who would open the garage door so I could drive out, messed up my GMAC payment plan so that the first three months I was paying Late, after several calls my registration showed up after 44 days (you have 45 days on the temporary) In short, avoid this place like a Plague. Unfortunately I had a less-than-desirable experience at bical Chevrolet. This salesman didn't seem too informed about the car that I was purchasing which was a pre-owned vehicle. They gave me the car and it wouldn't pass inspection asking me to return several times to my chagrin to get it to pass inspection. I will say this however the lady working in the finance department really knew what she was doing and did an excellent job and that's the only reason I gave it one star. Otherwise it would have been negative five stars. The law States that a vehicle at the time of sale must have an inspection sticker on it. I am not vindictive so I didn't pursue this as people might lose their job. I was made to wait not dealer many hours dealing with this. The car was not at all properly prepped for sale. The car was advertised online and when I went to see it it still needed repairs bad timing on their part. what they can do to improve their customer service is in the future make sure that your car that your advertising is ready to go with all repairs made. And stop wasting people's time with that bogus prep charge meanwhile you don't even prep your vehicles properly there was fingerprints and dust all over my interior. My lesson has been learned. I will go to another Chevrolet dealer in the future for my next vehicle. read more

Firstly let me say that the overwhelming number of negative reviews here on yelp speak for themselves regarding the Bical Chevrolet dealership. I wish I checked those before dealing with them, but I got a nice deal from them in the mail and decided to see what it was all about. To make a long story short they were very nice and polite to deal with initially, but once the deal was made and I left the dealership that's when my trouble with them started. I got a new lease from them while trading in my old lease that they promised to handle for me; however about 10 days after they returned my old vehicle to the other company I incurred a lot of fees that Bical promised to take care of but apparently didn't. I got in contact with the salesperson that I got the deal from and explained the situation, was told that they never promised to take care of those fees for me. After going back and forth a few times I asked to speak to the manager and was given the run around for days until I finally spoke to him and explained my situation. He asked me to give him a few days and to call him back, which I did and couldn't get through again for days. I finally had to go in person unannounced to speak to the manager, who pretty much told me the same thing that no such promise was ever made to me and I am pretty much on my own with the bill from the old company. I filed a case with the Department of Consumers affairs against them, very dishonest people, do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere!!! You will be glad you did!!! read more

My first and LAST dealings with this dealership! On Monday, Jan 16th, I went to see a Preowned SUV. After inspecting it, I pointed the following things that needed replacement in order to seal the $35,000 deal: Chevy emblem replacement, passenger door handle and the cracked dash board. After much back and forth with the salesman, I was told they would be working on it. Fast forward, various phone calls and delays, I received a call this Monday, the 23rd and was told that everything was fixed except the dash board that would cost $2,400 to replace but they would work with me and just charge me half at $1,200. I was steamed as that was not the deal. I left work early and drove to the Chevy dealership in Freeport and spoke to the parts and service department who could not have been nicer and they quoted me a total of $1,050 to replace the dashboard with labor in 4 hours. I drove back to Bical and spoke to the salesperson who totally lied to me as his exact words were:" I should be considerate that this was the best price they could do" . I than spoke with the manager, and explained that the car should not have been shown in this condition and that his sales person lied to me and attempted to still make profit off there mistake. The manager, immediately covered for his salesperson saying that it was an error in quoting me $2,400 but he could reduce it to $600. needless to say, I got my full refund back after being jerked for an entire week. I've encountered my fair share of awful customer service. But, my experience with Bical took the cake. Sure back in 2013 I thought I was getting an awesome deal. Fast forward to 2016, time to return my car that caused me umteen issues including finding out my passenger door had been fixed prior to my leasing it. Thus caused rotting of the car that I had to fix. I called everyday for a week straight and wrote an e-mail to some pathetic excuse of a "manager" all to return a car which the lease had expired. Place only cares about selling cars opposed to exercising customer service and trying to keep an unsatisfied client. Is the deal worth such dispicable treatment? Can I leave no stars and still make comments? In mid August we went in to Bical, as our 2016 Cruze lease (that we had gotten from them) was coming to an end. We were there to discuss our options about possibly leasing a new car, or purchasing out the 2016. We were told we needed to put down a REFUNDABLE $100 deposit in order for the bank to determine the payments for purchasing the 2016 Cruze. REFUNDABLE, meaning if we did not finance a car from them, the $100 would be returned to us. As it turned out, we ended up purchasing a vehicle from another dealership, at the time as no offense to Bical, they just did not have any 2019 Cruzes in stock. When my credit card statement came in the following month I expected to find the $100 refunded, and it was not. When I contacted the salesman, I was told I needed to come in with my credit card to have it refunded. Inconvenient, but whatever. When I went in at the end of September, the salesman could not find my paperwork, and after about a half hour of trying to look for it, told me to leave him my credit card information and a copy of my bill with the charge for the $100 on it, and it would be taken care of. Well, I am still waiting, and it is now November 3. I have had many emails back and forth with him trying to find out when it will be taken care of, him always promising it would be handled ASAP. I even emailed the sales manager, Anthony, asking to look into the refund for me as the salesman clearly was not capable of getting it taken care of, and he didn't even have the courtesy to respond. I have now disputed it with my credit card company, with evidence of all the emails back and forth promising me the refund would be processed. If my credit card company does not get it resolved, my next approach is to contact the corporate offices of GM/Chevrolet, and the Better Business Bureau. read more

Do yourself a favor and go to another dealership. I just leased my second car from there after having a good first experience, but I will not be getting a 3rd. I left there feeling lied to and deceived. The salesman, James and I went through the numbers and after the back and forth with the manager we came to a deal, shook hands and I put $1000 deposit down that night with an agreement of what I would be expected to pay the next day when I come to pick up the car. Then right at signing, there's an extra $650 charge. It got lowered to $325, but it's still $325 more than what we agreed to and shook on. Being upfront and honest goes a long way. The salesman pretends he has no idea why this is charged and claims he wasnt trying to deceive me but that's just ridiculous. Be honest, be upfront, tell me what it is going to cost me and dont theow in additional fees at the last second. Then they have the nerve to ask me to take down my negative review. If you dont want the negative review, how about start with how you treat your customers and do the right thing. Anyway, I lease a new car every 1.5 years between my wife and myself and will never be back to this dealership again. Hope the $350 was worth it. read more

Let me start you on journey of rudeness, were you as customer will get called out by ugly names and told to " get the fuck out here," "you're an animal" cool names I know. With the first 500 miles the car start breaking down, took it to the dealer to be fixed multiple times, and every time it was a hassle. It was a very inconvenient for them to answer my phone calls, I was put on hold multiple time and forgot about me, hang up the call on multiple times. The car stayed at the dealer for almost a month or more. Then I was called to return the loaner car, and pick up my car, since its "ready". What is ready for you Bob? Cause in my world if a car stayed close up to month at the dealer it should be READY in the meaning drivable. My car was not working, showed multiple signs on the dashboard. They insisted that car is ready, and they needed their loaner back, which I refused to give them, since my car was no way of being fixed . And he a charlatan guy. I called GM( general motor) to complain, and then I get greedy by the sale manger by telling me " get the fuck out of here," and he got some nerves him and his buddy to call me an "animal" and "an asshole". Animal for asking to fix my car, this must be a joke right? I can go on and on with this, overall I got very bad experience and it looks like I was even the car as charity, but in fact it was waste of money. I filed a complaint with GM and how funny that I was on the phone with them, when I was greedy by the server sale manger and everything is on file. When we picked up the car after we paid, it still wasn't ready and we had to wait. After picking it up, there were quite a few things wrong with the car and had to bring it back to bical (brought it to another dealership but they sent it back to bical since they were the ones who messed up) They charged me hundreds of dollars for a new starter only to come to realize that they did not even change the starter. Car was returned filthy and in non-working condition. It broke down on the highway shortly after. Thankfully no one was hurt. Who knows what they charged me for that they didn't do (was charged a few thousand dollars). Horrible service, despicable workmanship, and near impossible to get in touch with Bradley, the contact who you need to speak with to get any updates whatsoever from. Do not get ripped off!! After agreeing on price for a new Chevy Equinox, we get a call the next day that a mistake was made and they gave me the wrong VIN# and they have another car that is similar. I called my bank and they took care of the charge.
