Sales are ok there but if you want to have any service done after your purchase it sucks they seem to be too busy, they don't return phone calls and I've actually had my truck in there 3 times to fix a turbo problem and it's still doesn't work right. read more

Bickford Ford is not the same anymore. I purchased 2 vehicles from them in the past. Not too long ago I was in the market for a new F150 Platinum. I went to the salesman that helped me with my new Explorer purchase a couple of years ago. Gave him all the information of what I was looking for. Because their truck inventory was low (according to the salesman) he said he would see what he could find and get back to me. He never got back. So I went in to see a different salesman at Bickford. Same thing. Never got back to me. I went in a 3rd time and the second salesman assured me that he would get back. He never did. I guess they must be too busy. I really wanted to buy from Bickford but after 3 attempts, I got frustrated and went to a couple of other dealers. I went to Ford of Kirkland and also Ford in Bellevue (Autonation). Really great service at both. They actually wanted my business. By the way, my credit is in the 800's and I wanted to pay cash for the truck. Ford of Kirkland ended up having the truck I was looking for in stock. Their service department is great too. So they got my purchase. I recently called Bickford for a parts question. The person I spoke with was so absolutely rude. This is what prompted me to write this review. I will never go back to Bickford for service or purchase again. read more

***UPDATE*** After test driving the car for the past couple of days to be sure (something Bickford never did), I can now confidently say that I FIXED THE PROBLEM MYSELF. An under five minute search on the internet revealed that this is A VERY COMMON PROBLEM. Ford F-150s built after 2004 have what is called a Battery Management System (BMS) that regulates the amount of charge the alternator sends to the battery. When the battery is replaced, the BMS needs to be reset. Now I am not very handy... but I was able to follow the SIX STEPS that required ONE SOCKET WRENCH, and ONE HOUR of my time that was necessary to complete the task. Unfortunately for me... I still need a radio guy to reinstall my stereo! read more

After car shopping and test driving/dealing with different dealerships, my family ultimately decided on a purchase of a new ford. The vehicle itself is what we were looking for but this review is about the dealership, Bickford Ford. This was the best example of no-pressure sales that I've ever experienced. Chris allowed us to test drive vehicles and then sat down to find out what exactly we were looking for in terms of features and add-ons. We left the dealership with detailed information about different trims and features. That detailed information also included the actual cost of the vehicles. There was absolutely no pressure, no questions about "what'll it take to get you...". After we decided that the Ford Escape was the vehicle for us, it only took a phone call and a few days before we were sitting in our new car. The paperwork was ready, waiting and completed within a few minutes of arriving back at the dealership. Within a few minutes after that, we were sitting in the vehicle with Matt who was able to teach us how to use all the features of the car. Your typical car buying experience. Pushy and rude. My husband and I were on the market for a truck. Wanted the Raptor. Test drove the Roush. Loved it. But we wanted the Raptor. First the salesman gave us the runaround saying the bank was having a bunch of issues financing us. We sat there for about 45 minutes just waiting. We were there close to closing time and finance was already working on another loan. So we figure they were just sweating us so they could go home on time. They said they'd take care of us next business day. Before coming in we spoke to the salesman and said we wanted a Raptor. He said great let's make it happen. We came in and asked to test drive the Raptor. He said no. He said he can't get manager approval. Keep in mind, he said no immediately. Didn't check w his manager at all. Then he began pushing the Roush. We were shopping for a pretty pricey truck and to be told no you're just not allowed to drive it is just about the rudest thing I've ever dealt with at a car dealership. So we told him we would go grab a bite to eat and think it over. Instead we went over to Speedway Chevrolet. Do your sanity a favor and go there. We were approved in under 5 minutes. Great family oriented customer service from start to finish. Got into a Duramax Diesel Silverado. Pricier than their silly Raptor. Lost a big sale because of a rude salesman. Chevy. In 2015 our house bought 3 new vehicles totaling close to $100k. Non were financed and all purchased within weeks of each other. Then the bad service started...it seemed that anything that was a warranty item was placed in the back burner for them because "cash" customers always came first. Simple Items to fix like seat belts, carpet that wasn't installed properly @ factory, etc would take 4-5 days to fix. More serious items would take over a week. It felt as though our items didn't seem to matter, then trying to secure a rental would place your orders even further down the line so you'd end up 2-3 weeks out for service. After the 3 yr 30k runs out. Forget it!! The service department is rude and refuses to offer any assistance. I guess a transmission leak doesn't fall under the drive train warranty. Our family will likely never purchase from the Bickford's again and will definitely let everyone know that even if the sales team doesn't treat you like the typical dealership will. Don't fall for it, it's when you need service that the dealership fails you. Sorry Bickford. You've lost us for future business. read more

When I bought my car, I had the best service from sales. The first couple oil changes went ok, but after that the customer service in the service department went downhill. It went from mediocre to downright lousy. Had my car in yesterday for a recall and to check some fault message, they didn't even call me to tell me it was ready. When I called them, they acted like they had called. When I went to get my car this morning he apologized and admitted he never did call me. Between my experience with the red and blue service team and Todd Spradlin in commercial sales, I can confidently say stay as far away from this place as possible. Just another car dealership. I was hoping my experience at Bickford Motors would be good enough to feel comfortable returning to buy more vehicles for my business. Unfortunately, this was not the case. After finding the perfect truck, agreeing to a price (full price), purchasing some extra parts (full price), and securing financing through my credit union, Bickford did something called "spot delivery" or "yo yo sale." This means they didn't secure my loan before I drove the vehicle off the lot. When the deal didn't go through (after already cashing my down payment) they called me asking for $3K more. What was most frustrating was that I had increased my initial down payment based on their recommendation to secure a lower rate. Moreover, come to find out, Bickford could buy down my loan for $400 to fix their mistake (the difference between the two rates) but didn't because they didn't really care about me - their customer - just angling for more cash and securing the profit from their sale. In the end, my credit union took care of the discrepancy. Be weary if you shop here. read more

Bought a new 2018 Explorer that had a MAJOR defect. This dealer will NOT stand behind what they sell. We have left several messages with our salesman, who has never returned our call and all we have gotten from them is to repair it, which will require almost half the drivers side of the car to be repaired/repainted. We have been working with them since the day we brought it home as well as Ford directly and over 4 months later no one from Ford has rectified this. I have to say I am very disappointed in the service department there at bickford. we have gone there for years and they were very helpful. now that I have a new service advisor it has changed. they have nickel and dimed me for the last time. I had an appointment that they cancelled at the last minute making me wait an additional 2 weeks to get a service light checked. that led to a 2100 bill. on that bill they charged me 95 dollars for something that wasn't fixxed and wasn't broken at the time of service. not knowing the cause of a generic Check engine light and talking to them about possible causes led them to take advantage of the situation. there greed just cost them my business and many of my friends and neighbors. read more

I was ignored when walking up to the service counter at 3pm today, shoulders shrugging, not looking up for the computer as I explained my brakes went out and asked if someone could look at them. Even the customer relations mgr acted like she was too busy to be concerned. She even hassled me because I did not purchase my car from them even though I have an extended warranty! My fiancé and I were looking around for a truck. We came here because we have heard nothing but good things. A man came out and asked us what we were looking for, we told him a Ford F-250, he looked at us and said "you can't afford one" and walked away. I couldn't make this up, we were in shock! My fiancé has a well paying job, he was ready to buy a new truck. We ended up going to different dealership, buying the truck and then coming back later in the day! The same man came out, we got back into the truck, waved at him and drove off as he just stared at us. Just because someone doesn't have the "rich look" doesn't mean they can't afford something. Called the service center today because I was in the area for work and had immediate issues with my 2015 Ford Escape. I explained that my back driver window was stuck open I believed because the fuse blew or something to that effect. I was concerned as I didn't want to be driving around with an open window with rain and for security reasons. The service representative told me sorry that there wasn't anything she could do because they were booked out a week and a half and that she couldn't help me with someone even looking at it. First, I am a different James D. then the previous review with that name. DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR OR TRUCK OR GET IT SERVICED AT BICKFORD FORD IN SNOHOMISH, WA.!!!! I purchased my 2016 F-150 at Bickford Ford in Snohomish, WA., new. It now has only 9200 miles and needed scheduled repairs for two Ford recalls. I scheduled it out to the earliest day possible, Dec. 21, 2018. (That was in mid-November). The scheduled day is a Friday and a workday, as there are not much other options offered by the dealer. Bickford said they needed the truck for an entire day. Since I start work at 5:00 am, I would need to leave the truck there the night before. I tried to work out some arrangements to no avail regarding transportation and called Bickford two days before the appointment requesting a loaner. They said that Ford does not pay the dealer for loaners so they don't provide them to their customers. I reminded the lady that I purchased the truck from Bickford, and due to no fault of my own, the truck needed to be shopped for an entire day in which I would be without transportation. I pointed out that it is not right that I had to pay for a rental, multiple UBERs or have other arrangements made for a truck I purchased from them, Bickford, that needed repairs for a recall that is no fault of my own! She basically said that this is not Bickford's problem since Ford will not reimburse them and she suggested that I call corporate customer service. I again reminded her that I purchased this truck at Bickford and THEY should be advocating for the customer at Corporate. The lady was terse and said no, corporate needs to hear from the customer. No budging, no help! I called corporate and they kept me on the line for about 20 minutes. They ended up giving me a "Case #", stating a manager would be calling within 24 hours. They didn't. The first contact was after my truck had been at the dealer for half a day. They left an email message saying they have been unable to reach me. I checked and had no missed calls. I called the "corporate manager", Geratny Figueroa, back and left a message, and again, have yet to hear back and have no missed calls. I left my home and cell #. I still have not received a call back after the message. I thought possibly the corporate manager had worked out for a loaner when I dropped my truck off. Nope! Everyone that could provide a loaner was gone for the day and their courtesy transportation was gone as well. I was previously told they work until 7:00 and I arrived at 5:55 pm. Certainly no loaner or customer service was going to be provided. I had to call and waited for someone to drive 30 miles to come and pick me up while I waited to drop my car off at BICKFORD. Again, I had no vehicle to drive and the inconvenience to go somewhere to pickup and rent a car then take it back, having to get rides to and from the rental both times, would be a major inconvenience. I ended up having to burn a day off because of my DEFECTIVE FORD TRUCK AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM BICKFORD FORD! Bickford appears that they will take care of you when you are there making a purchase. Once they have your money, that is no longer true. I have purchased two Ford's in the past three years and will simply buy another type of vehicle (and elsewhere) in the future. There are too many good vehicles out there to buy from a dealership that will take care of the customer. I would avoid BICKFORD AT ALL COSTS! (Snohomish, WA) If you need to call these guys, try not to deal with the receptionist. She was very short with me (incredibly rude actually) and at one point I had to stop her from hanging up on me. She didn't want to explain herself when I asked her a question about what she meant. SERIOUSLY, with a receptionist like this I think the dealership would be better off with an automated system to give me the option to contact the service department direct which is what I wanted in the first place. This will be the second bad feedback I've had to give about Bickford in recent years . . . sad too, I bought my Explorer from these guys years ago when their customer service was top notch. Do NOT go to this dealership!! The service department is either totally incompetent or just plain dishonest. Took my 2006 F-150 in with some engine issues and was recommended to have a full diagnosis done for +$200, to make sure they were fixing the correct issue. They did (or claimed to have done) the diagnosis, and said it needed new spark plugs and was low on oil and some fluids. So they fixed it for about $1,800. A week later, the exact same issues came back and the engine died while I was driving so I took it back in. They called back and said the engine was blown, and would be $9k to replace the long block of the motor. My question was...are the mechanics that incompetent that they totally missed a blown motor, or was a diagnosis not really done? Did they just plug in the OBD reader like they do for free at the auto parts store, and when no immediate code popped up they just topped it off with some oil and called it good? My biggest issue was when I spoke to Kelly from the service department on the phone, they took absolutely zero responsibility for anything. I'm not trying to blame them for damaging the truck, since I obviously took it in that way. But my question was, you did a diagnosis and told me you found the issue. I paid you $1,800 to fix the issue. That was in fact NOT the issue. Turns out, there was a MUCH bigger issue that was totally overlooked!! So they are more than happy to charge a customer $1,800, even if they aren't sure what the problem is. When I asked for some kind of a refund since their supposedly competent mechanics had recommended changing the spark plugs on a blown engine, I was told they would only refund me the diagnosis fee of around $200. Nevermind the fact that they had told me they found the problem, and charged me to fix it, when it wasn't even the problem. So there I was with essentially a totaled truck. Luckily I was able to sell it to their wholesaler for $3k (Bickford only offered me $1,500). Now I'm stuck with buying a vehicle from a dealership that I don't trust nor want to have my business. I tried to get some kind of a discount on the new truck price since I had essentially donated $1,800 to the service department for no reason. I was told that service is separate from sales, and I would have to take that up with the service manager. Luckily Brooke in sales was great to deal with, but unfortunately she has to work with a bunch of crooks and couldn't help me out. So, after buying another truck and giving $30k to a dealership I didn't want to on a Friday, I was told the service manager would call me on Monday. He never did. Kelly from service called me back the next week. We argued for a while, and she said she would check with the manager but she didn't think he'd give me more of a refund than the $200. She said she would have him call me though. He still never called me. The next week Brooke called about a different issue, and asked if the manager had spoken to me. When told I still hadn't spoken with him, she said she would remind him to call me. Here we are the week after that, and Kelly called back to tell me they would only refund me the diagnosis fee. The manager STILL hasn't had the courtesy to call me, despite his employees trying their best to deal with an issue that is obviously above their pay grade. So there is my first, and will be my only, experience with Bickford Ford. read more

Purchased a new 2018 Ford F-150 CrewCab 4x4. Did my homework so I knew exactly what I wanted, features and color. Jeff promptly got back to me by phone early Saturday am. I immediately I drove up from Battle Ground, WA as Jeff W. held the truck for me. Jeff was great & so was Fred in financing. Best new vehicle purchase I have ever had. No pressure, good selection, great price, full fuel tank (and I didn't even remember to ask for that!) truck was really nicely detailed by their detail dept. (yes a new vehicle still needs a cleanup prior to delivery) and Jeff really knew the features on the vehicle. I will tell my friends & family to buy from Bickford Ford. I took my daughter's Ford Focus in because it kept overheating. First time they looked at it they couldn't really figure out what was wrong. They replaced a hose and thermostat and said that was it. Week and a half later it overheated again. They had it for over a week and again couldn't figure out what was wrong. I took it to a private mechanic and within a half hour they figured out it was a blown head gasket. Sent Bickford store manager and service manager a letter and email about this because the blown gasket if found by them earlier would have been covered under the 5 year powertrain warranty but because they took so long and still never figured it out the warranty was now expired. They never responded at all. I will not use them again. read more

After telling me they would negotiate for a vehicle (like all dealers do), I drove 2 hrs and looked at a car for an 1 1/2 hrs and they told me they would not adjust their price at all (not up for discussion). The saleswoman I dealt with was Lindsay (she seemed like she wanted to discuss price), but said her manager, Eric Stempak, would not allow any discussion. The worst experience in customer service. I was sent a repair estimate that expired in a few hors of it being sent. Kelly the service advisor was of no help even though I repeatedly asked her to send information that did not expire so we could discuss the repairs after work. Her suggestion was $6000 of repairs. after doing some research I did the repair that seemed most necessary for $650. I was still charged a diagnosis fee of $140 and then they charged me storage fees while the car was being repaired another $120! the total was a far cry from the $6000 plus tax they insisted I should spend (mine was $1000) I did ask for a refund of the storage fees as I feel this is a problem with the company's delivery method of information. I was told no but I did ask a second time with the documentation showing this was not from my fault. Kelly W. gets no stars in my book!!! she is not competent to do her job as a service advisor. I dread buying cars. This was my 4th new car purchase and first Ford. The experience was nearly as painless as possible. Straight forward sales guy that offered the price I was prepared to pay without hassle. I came pre-approved with financing from my bank but they were able to beat it. Been back a few times for routine service and that department is also a pleasure to deal with so far. Light years ahead of my prior experiences with the Chevrolet dealer. Only downside is that Snohomish can be a bit out of the way, but worth the effort. read more
