After having the worst experience ever at Ford of Kirkland, I almost didn't consider a Ford and crossed it off my list when I was shopping around for an SUV. But I was encouraged by my wife and a friend at work not to judge a brand because of a lousy car dealer. I then tried Bickford Ford, and boy was it a total departure from the none-existent service over at Ford of Kirkland. The service and folks at Bickford Ford are excellent. Talked to the service supervisor to schedule an appointment to get my 10 month old Ford Fiesta checked for squeaking from the breaks. He (without looking and over the phone) told me it was due to corrosion on the break pads and there wasn't anything he could do about it. I have a 35,000 mile warranty/3 year warranty. In my mind, if its mechanical, they need to do what is necessary to fix this problem. He was EXTREMELY rude and not an ounce of help. I went out of my way to drive to Puyallup Korum Ford to get quicker and better service. They were booked out since Wednesday and manage to fit me in on a Saturday with only one tech crew available. Avoid purchasing and getting serviced at Bickford Ford! Unless you want to start an argument with an ignorant supervisor that's never laid hands on a vehicle. read more

Two phone calls, under 20 minutes at the dealership for pick up of the vehicle. Done Follow up was awesome and pricing was very competitive. Buying a car is one of my least favorite things in the world to do. But yesterday I had an astonishing experience at Bickford Ford. The ethic there is unlike that of any other dealership I've ever been in. I immediately sensed the difference on the phone (for example the salesman didn't ask for my phone number so he could "check the lot for the car and call me back" (a ploy to harass me with phone calls if I failed to buy from him). Because he was polite and in no way aggressive, I decided it was worth the trip from Seattle up to Snohomish (35 minutes). My salesman was a delightful young man named Dan. There was absolutely NO pressure. The car I wanted was priced fairly. He did not have to go "talk to the boss" or pull any of the other shenanigans to manipulate customers, which I have experienced in all the other places where I have bought a car. I bought a C-Max, a new car in the US (a friend told me yesterday that a few years ago it won the Car-of-the-Year Award in Europe where it has been around for a few years). It compares very favorably with the Prius, which I had also considered. But unlike the Prius this car has pickup, (I test drove a Prius and found it very sluggish--dangerous for passing or entering freeway on ramps) and the interior of the C-Max is nicer. A drawback to the car is a complex dashboard. To lessen the confusion, this dealership felt it was worthwhile to invest in hiring an extremely knowledgeable young man (Jake) who is a born teacher, to help orient their customers to their new vehicle. He sat with me for a long time, explaining step- by-step all I needed to know. He also pointed out that there is a website which shows every single thing that you might need to know in case you don't digest it all or are confused about something later on. I simply cannot say enough good things about Bickford Ford! read more

Completely rude, pushy sales staff. I purchased my 2015 Escape here, but walked in knowing what I wanted so was treated like gold. Two years later, I decided I did not like the car and wanted to trade it in. Went to the same salesman, Dan, who was extremely pushy and short. He was working with 3 other customers at the time, so I was constantly waiting for him. He proceeded to text me, pressuring me into getting the car for over two days. Finally I had enough and told him I was not willing to be pressured into making a decision. After months had passed, I decided I was certain I wanted to trade in my vehicle. Called Bickford and told them what I wanted to do, but requested a different salesman. I was forwarded to Randy, and I explained exactly what I wanted, down to the color. He told me he would check area inventory and get back to me. He never did, so I purchased the car I wanted from Epic Ford in Everett. read more

Be warned that once you buy your car the customer service comes to an abrupt end. I have never felt like service at Bickford was convenient but this last week pushed me over the edge. I took my car in for service three weeks ago on a warranty issue and an oil change. Then, 3 weeks later my car would not start. After calling, my husband had my car towed to Bickford Ford (using our 1-time towing benefit through insurance). On Monday when we called we were told that my car would not even have a diagnostic assessment until Friday, SEVEN days after bringing it in. Apparently we had not asked the correct question when we used our one free towing to get my car to Bickford Ford because they didn't mention it would take seven days to even assess the car. When we called Lynnwood Ford they told us they would immediately assess the car upon arrival. Unfortunately this would mean $100 out-of-pocket to have the car towed. I called Bickford to express my concerns and tell them I was paying out of pocket for a rental and would have to pay out-of-pocket to tow the car to Lynnwood but would do so if my car could not be assessed until Friday. I was then told that if it turns out that the issue with my car is a warranty issue my rental would have been paid for....wow, that would also have been nice to know. This was three days in to paying for a rental out of pocket. With the threat that I would tow my car to Lynnwood, my car was assessed, found to be a 'warranty issue' and finished the next day. Ultimately it appears that whatever service had been done 3 weeks previously likely loosened some wires and they had to be pinched back together. However, in the process my battery was killed and I had to pay $165 to have Bickford Ford replace my battery plus $100 out of pocket for a rental. This was an epic debacle in service and I have no other options but to share my terrible experience with others to try to spare others the repeated lack of convenient or trusted service I have experienced at Bickford. And the excuse that they are booked out 4 weeks only indicates that the greed to maximize car sales is not being followed up with the investment in adequate service to support their sales volume ...it is a shameful way to treat customers who are making a huge investment decision under false pretenses of trust. My recommendation is to buy from Lynnwood Ford where the service is exceptionally customer focused even after the big sale is made. read more

I purchased an extended warranty in Feb of this year. They were super eager and professional in taking my money. The auto start in my 2016 F-150 began acting funny last Friday, its 1.5 years old. I called to ask what I should do and was bounced around as was end of day and couldn't talk to someone (kept getting routed to the service schedulers voice mail). Over the weekend it completely died and was able to get it jump started but charge didn't hold. I called service this AM (Monday) and they were completely dismissive...told me they were booked out until November and provided zero assistance when I asked what I'm going to do about transportation. All they suggested was for me to call around to other dealers. Its completely criminal. I'll never go back in to this place and suggest you stay clear of as well. read more

I recently went there for service.... due to a key fob no longer functioning. The battery had been replaced, and still nothing. They recommended I buy a new one. So I did, for 60 bucks. Then they opened the new one, and programmed both the new one and the old one. The old key fob was now working correctly. So was the new one. However, since they had opened the one I had just bought, I can't return it. Yikes. You'd think 90 seconds of programming on the existing part is worth trying before you make someone spend money on a part they don't need. Avoid. The only reason this isn't 1 star is because the dollar amount of the loss was somewhat small. read more

He always listens to you, understands your budget and doesn't try and PUSH you into a larger payment just to make a sale. We purchased a 2019 Ford Fiesta from Bickford in a moment of desperation. We couldn't take it on a proper test drive due to a power outage that took out all the traffic lights. In 20 minutes the best we could do was turn into Fred Meyers parking lot and turn around. The next day I regretted the purchase. Many people told me to return it so I called our sales person, he informed me the 3 day return does not apply to dealerships and Bickford does not have that as policy. I am stuck with a car I HATE. Strong word, but I hate it. It is crappy little car bought in a moment of desperation and they are unwilling to help without there being severe monetary penalty to us. As nice as they were the day of, we will never be back. Do research on the dealership before hand. Learn their policies. Lesson learned the hard way. My husband and I purchased a gorgeous 2015 Escape last week from Bickford Ford in Snohomish and it was the easiest experience I've ever had when purchasing a vehicle. The company's team spirit is obvious in the showroom where everyone is friendly and cheerful. Swede Johnson in the Sales Department is the nicest, respectful, easy-going car salesman I have ever met. There was no pushy hard sell and we felt no stress with him. He printed different purchasing options for us to take home and review. When we returned with more questions, he patiently worked through those options also. Matt Rice, the tech advisor, spent over an hour explaining how to work all the technical options of the car and sent follow up emails to make sure I did not have more questions. Other than the finance guy's pushy pitch to sell us an extended maintenance contract, it was the best experience I've ever had at a car dealership! read more

Bought a used truck a year ago for full market price had a few issues and requests from the beginning but in the end they made every excuse why it wasn't their issue, the issues they agreed to fix are not fixed and did not fix, sold me a truck that shows no record of damage or repairs and now it is proven to be a vehicle that was worked on and repainted on the drivers side, but sales manager says not there problem even though it was a matter of weeks after i purchased the clear coat was coming off the hard shell and now blisters are appearing under the paint. They would be happy to look at it but they are not set up to do that kind of work which translated means we will do nothing. Service is not worth a mention. Run away as fast as you can had my ford f150 serviced here. And in turn the techs ruined the spark plug and in turn ended up having to have motor worked on and the cylinder honed. After word the re built the block with a new one because the cam baring. Went bad which should have been replaced first time. After that the charged me 8000 dolls for a new block and only warranty the work for 6 months or a 100 miles. Well need less to say as of today the motor is shaking check engine light just came on. And motor sound like it has a dead cylinder. Worst place in the world do not buy or have work done here failure in all aspects.the motor after being rebuilt by this place has to under go another rebuild buy beware.and ricco was the service adviser read more

I went there for service to get my oil changed. The service rep asks me if I wanted my vehicle washed. I said sure. He was going to call when it was done and said it should be about an hour. I went to grab some food then came back and looked at vehicles. After an hour and a half I noticed my vehicle sitting in the lot and never received a phone call. I went and found the service advisor. He tells me everything looks good and it's all washed up. IT WAS NEVER WASHED!! Then I go pay for it and go to leave. I start my vehicle and the change engine oil soon light is still on. Went and found the service advisor and asked him if the oil was ever changed. He said yes and that he saw them draining it but he forgot to reset the light. Not having it washed and the light still on made me a little leery. I checked the oil when I got home and it looks clean. I was going to get other work done there after I had my truck lifted but think I might go somewhere else. There service department didn't earn my trust on the first visit!! read more

I tend to be very positive and try to avoid negative reviews so I have held off on posting this with the hopes that the issues would be resolved. My goal is to help others avoid the same issues. This is my 3rd Ford SUV and will be my last. I highly recommend not getting a ford SUV. For nearly 20 years I have been a LOYAL Ford SUV owner. In March 2016 I purchased a brand new Expedition (my 3rd Ford SUV in a row). The actual buying process was fine, which is why I gave 2 stars but the quality of the vehicle is HORRIBLE. Issues with the expedition: 1. Turn signal sticks 1/3 of the time. I made an appointment 1 week out and took it in to the Kirkland location and they told me I would need to leave the vehicle with them for almost a week with no rental car because they would need to bring their specialist in to figure out why it was doing that. I couldn't be without a vehicle for a week so I made appointment with Bickford because they would provide a rental car this I purchased through them. They tried it in the shop and it was a time it didn't stick, so they said everything is fine. They did no road test and didn't have time for me to take them out to show them. 2. Brakes made a loud noise when I stepped on them. Turned out a cable was improperly run. They did correct this. Although it is a bit concerning that a brake cable was improperly run on a brand new vehicle. 3. SYNC system is absolutely horrible!!! By far my biggest complaint. - Navigation will not route me across 520 and I go from the eastside to Seattle almost daily. Until I am actually on the 520 bridge it will try to turn me around and take me either down to 90 or up around the lake adding 40+ minutes to the drive. When I called in to see if I needed to update or could adjust settings, I was told an update would be out late fall because this is an issue with all sync 3 systems and there was nothing else they could do to help. In late fall I called to get the update and they told me it is delayed and will be ready in early 2017. The tech guy also confirmed again that all the Sync 3 systems for all the vehicles he could test did the same thing. Not providing directions across 520 was just one of MANY navigation issues. Essentially I don't have faith in the navigation giving me accurate directions because of this and a handful of other similar route issues, so I have completely stopped using it and only use my iPhone for directions. VERY frustrating after paying 55k for 'top of the line' technology to not be able to use a basic function for daily use. - Phone system is horrible. When I try to play my messages through my vehicle speakers it will start and stop the message 1/2 dozen times and then I have a 50/50 shot at it either going back to music or actually playing the message. Note, every time it stops the message it plays the music for a second then starts the message for a second then plays the music second..... 1/2 dozen times for a single message. Many times I simply just turn off my Bluetooth and unplug the usb and simple listen to my phone. Again, another 'top of the line' technology that is unable to function for daily use. - Apps. They simply don't work. This system does not play well with the iPhone at all! No experience with any other phones on they system, but if you have an iPhone this is not the system for you. - Back up camera. Occasionally when I am driving forward the back up camera will take up the whole screen of what is behind me and not allow me to do anything else on the screen. I stop and turn the truck off and on and the camera stays full screen when driving forward. No access to phone, music, climate.... when this happens. Eventually I park it for the night and it is back to normal in the morning. This has happened at least 1/2 dozen times or more over 6-8 months. Very frustrating but even more than that it is very distracting and a safety issue. 4. Gas mileage was better on my old V8 version of the Expedition. A big selling feature was new engine and better mileage. Not the case. I do a ton of freeway driving and still average around 14mpg. It does shift smoother than the old V8 version. 5. Front parking sensor. It randomly beeps... I will be stopped at a light. I will not be moving forward and the vehicle in front of me will not be moving back and they will randomly beep. I have called in multiple times on these issues hoping to get them resolved. The people I talk to are nice but have absolutely no solutions. After almost 20 years as a loyal ford owner I am looking for something else. I will trade this thing in and cut my loss. I will not be purchasing a ford again in the future. I always associated quality with the ford brand but this purchase has been anything but quality and this is the first vehicle I've owned they I really hate getting into every day because of constant frustrations. read more

Overall, experience was average. I purchased the truck, then immediately the "check engine light" came on. They took care of it with little dispute, so I am pleased with that aspect of the transaction. The price of the vehicle was about what I would have expected from any dealership. In summary with respect to the purchase, I would say it is about 3 stars. If you live locally, it would make sense to purchase from them, but if you live out of the area, it certainly is not worth the drive. You can probably get the same or better deal from places like Autonation or Harris Ford. You will not be blown away by customer service or friendliness. I will say the salesmen generally have the attitude they are doing you a favor, so I wouldn't shop here for any other reason than local convenience. The issue I have is with the service department. I recently dropped my truck off (2009 Ford F150) due to a sticky caliper. Obviously, this was not a planned appointment, so I was forced to drop it off Saturday afternoon. Naturally, I did not expect to be fit in immediately, and advised Raelynn (sp?) this was an extra vehicle so there was no rush. That was NOT to be interpreted as I did not want to be kept informed as to the status. After not being called Monday afternoon, (which to my mind should have been ample time to check the vehicle in and make contact), I called Bickford. I was told Rico was the service adviser whom would provide an update and timeframe. He was at lunch, or otherwise out of the office, so I left a detailed voicemail requesting a call back. As of Wednesday (2 days), I did not receive a call back. To me this is pretty simple customer service, requiring very minimal effort. Essentially, I was only expecting a simple call to provide a timeframe as to the repair. If he was to call and simply say, "we plan on getting your truck in next week as we are fully booked, but we will get it in as soon as possible," that would have been perfectly fine. All I expect is a timeframe and a phone call. My expectations were reasonable and simple. Instead, I had to call again Wednesday for a status, with whom I spoke with their receptionist who was actually more helpful than anyone else I have dealt with at this facility. Of course, Rico was not available, so she assured me he will call me back. He certainly did call me back, but with an annoyed attitude which I can only interpret as I was an inconvenience to him. He was short and, dare I say, a bit rude on the phone, displaying no customer service skills whatsoever. He lacked any sort of empathy for the situation we were in (after I told him that my wife had just been rear ended in our other vehicle, and unfortunately we now needed the truck as before it was simply superfluous.) I interpreted our discourse as simply wanting to get me off the phone as I was not important. He did say he would try to fit my truck in sometime today, and reluctantly advised that it may be done tomorrow depending on what they find. The end result I would characterize as marginally satisfactory however, how we arrived at the end result is less than satisfactory. Considering my problem was a sticky caliper, I certainly could have gone to Les Schwab and had the vehicle repaired in less than a day, with a friendly attitude and reasonable price. I elected to use Bickford because I purchased the vehicle there, and expected a high level of customer service, if nothing else, a smile and friendly demeanor. I purchased the Ford Base Care warranty, so I can essentially go anywhere I want, so I will not use Bickford for anything, including future purchases which my wife and I have a tendency to do quite often (purchased 4 cars in 5 years.) It appears from the "grumpy" attitude prevalent in the service department (and to a degree Sales as well), there may be a leadership issue at this facility. I know they have been in business for 80+ years, but that can be said for many dealerships in the area so that tends to be meaningless. Ford trucks sell themselves, so I suspect it has little to do with anything other than the product they sell. I would recommend if Rico and the service advisers dislike their job that much as to make it apparent to their customers, then consider a career change. It takes very little effort, expertise or time to initiate a 30 second status phone call. The salesmen light up your phone daily when they are trying to sell you a car, but service cannot make a single 30 second call to provide a status and a timeframe. To me that is telling and clearly reflects the values of their operation. Bickford you have an infinite amount of competition in the area, I would recommend you take this review as a coaching opportunity. read more

Hello i have been looking to buy a f 350 truck, so i had been looking at a couple that bickford mototrs had, after reading the reveiws, i will go else where, people really need to look the trucks over real well, i bought a truck from marysville ford 2yrs ago, i found out these trucks are coming from canada, just do a car fax, if it does not come with one don;t buy, there is alot of rust on these trucks from road salt, i put $3000 in mine in 1 month, brakes, and broken exaust manifold, so thank you to the people who wrote reveiws, you really helped me, bickford better get there act together, i will be telling others about how they work, thanks again to everyone read more

The salesman was nice enough but they wouldn't honor the Ford rebates for my trade-in unless I let them run my credit. I had financing in place before I even went there so I didn't need financing through their banks. The Ford website didn't specify that the 2000k rebate only applied to Ford financed vehicles so I'm pretty sure they were making up the rules as they went. And yes, my trade in was a POS but the Ford website didn't specify that it had to be worth a certain amount of money in resale to qualify. Then the salesman said that they couldn't verify who I was unless I let them run my credit. You mean the drivers license you have in your hand, the copy of my insurance card, and the check drafted by my bank's auto loan department (who does business with Bickford all the time) which would include my name wasn't proof of my identity? I even said that I could produce my passport if necessary. Yeah, turns out it wasn't proving my identity that was the problem. After I busted all of their reasons as to why I couldn't buy the car sitting on their lot the truth came out. Unless I let them use the "cuddle" (sp?) System to provide financing, it wasn't "worth their time" to sell me a car. Why would I let them run my credit when I already had financing in place?? Well, Bickford Ford has become my new favorite topic!! In the three days since this happened, I have told EVERYONE about it. Posted it to FB (so did my husband) and contacted Ford's main office. I NEVER write reviews about a place online but I think I need to warn others. Do not go in there with your financing in place or cash in hand because they don't want your kind of business. We live in the Seattle city limits and used Auto Trader to search for a used truck. When we found a likely candidate at a dealership in Snohomish, we were a little skeptical about driving way up there, but it was worth it! Bickford is a huge truck dealership and I can see why they might be your go-to dealership for a quality truck. We happened to be interested in one of the more inexpensive used trucks on the lot, but we were still treated extremely well (which is as it should be). I think your car buying experience hinges on the sales person you work with and we were lucky enough to work with Jason Bickford, who is fantastic! He was very knowledgeable about Fords and was able to answer all of our questions. He's very calm and laid back - the opposite of the obnoxious used car salesman you'd expect. The whole sales process was seamless and it's clear the dealership has been in business for many, many decades. They have their process down. They performed a service on our truck before we picked it up and when we arrived, the truck was waiting for us up front and they even put half a tank of gas in it (it was nearly empty when we bought it). We were there on a Saturday, and while we were filling out the paperwork customers kept coming in and saying hi to Jason and chatting. It really felt like we were part of a family. A lot of that has to do with the small community that Bickford is part of, but it's also because of how the sales staff interacts. Made an appt to look at a SUV with Bickford's competitor but they sold it so found myself on the internet looking for a new 2016 Edge and saw Bickford's ad on one. It wasn't the Titanium I wanted but it was a SEL with the leather package so I reached out to them and was dealing with Cayce via email. He was upfront and forth coming on the price so I made the 1 1/2 HR drive from Graham to see it. He had the vehicle already pulled up front for me and was busy so he did what was necessary and sent me off on the test drive. From there the trade was evaluated and the deal was done. Once the paperwork was done with Eric, Mike the tech guy was waiting to help me get to know my vehicle (did I mention they closed at 6 but it was 730 or later!). Even though it was way past closing, he didn't make me feel like he was rushing me through the info and was great! Randy Avoid their sales veteran Randy. Randy did not offer any consolidation on my trade-in, on the vehicle they were selling, and refused to accept that the tires on their vehicle were bald. I ended up paying for new tires, and a new AC Compressor ($1800) for an 06 Super Duty truck. Having purchased and referred many to Bickford, I have stopped. No response from service or sales on my engagement with them during my sale process. Turns out they made several thousand on my trade in . . . I have asked them to stop sending me fliers in the mail and I have emailed corporate in detail about the complete lack of customer support from Bickford I recieved while purchasing my SuperDuty truck. read more

I bought a used Honda accord here 5 years ago and it has been a great car. The sales people were friendly and they listened to what I was looking for.
