The Korean fried chicken and fried rice was insanely good. We also had the peanut butter sliders, wurst platter, curry wurst, and the pretzel. Everyone was happy. The sauces give great dishes a nice boost of somesomething special. Plus the beer menu has quite a few selections of different varieties beyond the popular IPA. Looked up somewhere to watch Sunday night football and this place popped up! Perfect! We were looking for a place with Korean food + football. Although it's not traditional Korean food, totally cool place! As soon as we walked in, the place was packed! We were greeted and waited for the first spot to open up. They have a projector and TV's inside so it's a great place to catch a game. They got a good menu of gastropub fair. Great for soaking up all the booze. Annie and her team have done a tremendous job of turning the parking lot into a fun, and a nice place to have dinner and watch a game. Yes, there are no less than three screens, on which to catch the game while you're enjoying some great food and your food and a nice brew. Speaking of brews, they have a wonderful selection. There's no way you can go there and not find a beer you'll absolutely love. I'm pretty fond of the peanut butter beer! They have other drinks too, including a great selection of whiskey you'll not easily find, such as whiskey from Taiwan. They even have a whiskey Wednesday where you can get a nice flight of whiskey of various origins. I highly recommend it if you like whiskey. The food is great. You can't go wrong. I've tried the burgers, all good. I'm particularly fond of the KFC, aka Korean Fried Chicken. I also love the kimchi fried rice. My friend orders the Wurtsplatte every time we go there, that's how good it is! Oddly enough, the service is even better now that they are outside. I love Biergarten!! After finding this place from a promotional offer it became a place that felt where the homies can hang out. We all love food, drinks and to watch sports. Biergarten takes care of all of those areas. Last year after my first visit I decided to have my birthday party there. Watched the Super Bowl with great company with outdoor seating to enjoy the awesome winter LA weather! TVs were set up outside, although one of the TVs was glitchy, but it didn't detract much from the experience since there were two TV's and we partially watched on our phones at the table. Parking wasn't too hard when I arrived, circled for a minute on the nearby streets and found multiple parking spaces, during Super Bowl time, so it shouldn't be hard during regular times. Dress code: very very casual, comfy The food was quite good...I mean they're meaty and i think supposed to be Korean/German fusion-y. The German Fried Rice was good; you really can't go wrong with delicious german sausage and fried rice. Also had the Wurstplatte which was good, as 3 sausages will provide only the best iron-pumped meal. For my drink, the delirium red was quite good if you enjoy te "light" slightly fruity "Belgian Fruit Ale", which I very much enjoyed. Definitely a good place to go for german/korean bar food, pretty solid. The only caveat is that the service was a little slow and we had to followup our orders a few times to get them on time. But otherwise I think with better service it could be 6 stars. P.S. Bar food is bar food. This is not the place to go for fancy romantic night out with proper silverware. lol read more

Ready for sports viewings, Biergarten has a huge projecter to see sports games on a big screen. Now the reason I really came here was the bar food I've been hankering for since the COVID-19 shutdown. I felt like it needed a bit of heat or acidity to help with the fatty ness of the gravy and pork. Id suggest asking for a side of kimchi. Then you can dab your fries on the kimchi or pour the juice over the fries. Fries stayed crispy which was a huge plus. Overall the experience was nice. The table we sat at was sticky so we used wet naps they provided for the meal to wipe it down. It was also a little hard to flag down a server. We were in a corner and it started getting busy. After about 15 min of this it was easier to get up and ask at the bar. Kalbi Poutine (3/5): This one was okay for me. Not a big of this poutine because the fries were not to my liking. Fried Mushrooms (5/5): This was really good! The breading was good and you will bite into good juicy mushrooms! Wurstplatte (4/5): I don't remember which one I liked but this is definitely good for munching with a cold glass of beer! Schnitzel (4/5): I don't remember this one too much but it's almost like pork katsu, in a way? I don't believe the meat was dried when we had it. We also had the biergarten nachos (4/5). 4.5 Covid outdoor dining review We were looking for a fun sports bar to check out the Dodger game a few weeks back. They set up an outdoor area with several TV's so we that were able to get out of the house. The tables were separated more than 6 feet apart. Short tables in front of the TV's and tall tables in the back which makes the viewing experience good. There were lots of drink options - we ended up splitting some pitchers of Modelo. The food was better than I remember (I have eaten here several years back). We had the kimchi fried rice and their popular roasted chicken. My fiance said that it was his most favorite kimchi fried rice he's ever had. I also enjoyed the chicken, I see mixed reviews on yelp but I really liked it. Not a bad place to have a group Happy Hour... prices are reasonable. Menu offers some decent choices and some real oddball items. Deviled eggs were not bad. One of my colleagues weirdly ordered the KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) to share with the table. Service was not particularly friendly and they were out of the first three beers we asked for. You can valet park or take your chances on side streets (I'd valet). It's a strange take on a sports bar... I suppose a K-town version. Stools are backless and not comfortable. When we were there, some exposed pipe was dripping water from the ceiling next to our table. It's dark, but in full light I get the feeling a cleaning might be in order. The mash-up of Korean and German food is interesting but I suspect you would have to be drunk to order most of it.
