We came in, intending to just test the Peloton Tread and Tread Plus. He let us run on multiple treads for nearly two hours, including the two Peloton models we were interested in, as well as a Woodway and a Landice. As marathoners and OTF competitive runners, this level of testing was critical for the $3k-$6k purchase. Jacob understood that immediately. He encouraged us to push the machines, testing speeds 12+MPH, dialing in interval acceleration and deceleration, and really feeling the differences in foot strike, responsiveness, and overall ride quality. He didn't rush us or, even worse, hover around us. Jacob provided genuine support and deep product knowledge. Once we settled on the Tread Plus, Jacob went above and beyond by introducing us to the Tonal 2 home gym, which will absolutely be our next purchase. On the very first day it arrived, it started mysteriously auto-pausing after just 5 seconds of use. To make things worse, the installer apparently had no idea how to properly test it before leaving. I had to go back to the store myself and explain the issue. The store then had to contact the installer and only got back to me several days later. When the installer finally returned, he told me the motor was defective and that a replacement would need to be ordered, which could take weeks to arrive. Can you believe that? This was sold to me as brand-new equipment and cost thousands of dollars. I trusted this store and even threw away my couch to make room for this machine. I deeply regret that decision now. This store, and the people they hire, seem to have no idea what they are selling.

Two days later Edgar (the owner) plus someone else came to our house, replaced the chain, did a general tune-up and cleaned the bike... for $110. I mean, that's about how much I paid at a local bike shop to have my street bicycle tuned up but I had to get my bike into my car, drive it to the shop, wait two weeks and them pick it up. Edgar was here within two days, brought someone to help, worked on the bike for an hour and a half ... was friendly and on time!

After disassembling it, he didn't assemble it back together and said he would special order the right motor and be back in two to three days. I noticed he had been assisting other customers and could hear his patient, professional and cheerful demeanor with each one. After asking for the shoe, he quickly popped off to the back and retrieved my size. Perfect fit and the reinforced toe, which my pointy little elf feet require, was as good as the online picture showed. SCORE! After peeking around the clearance racks, I grabbed some sports bras, further discounted another 25% off, a pocket bug spray for hikes and "after bite" as impulse purchases. From the second we walked in, I was really surprised as how much they had inventory wise. They definitely had a little something for everyone. From jerseys to artwork to cards of all interests. They've got you covered. I haven't collected cards since maybe the early 90s so I don't know if the prices are good, but they seemed like they were on par with what you would be paying these days. Staff was...ok. It took awhile for one of the employees to acknowledge my sons who were patiently waiting to be helped. Instead they were focused on a group of of about 3 other people just chatting away about something or another. When they finally did address us, they seemed a bit confused by the vouchers, but eventually went in the back and brought out some 'pull night' packs for baseball and a few extra NBA cards for good measure. I appreciated that they gave out a little extra to some very appreciative kids. Parking is really the only major drawback. It's a small lot and there's only really one in and out. Be prepared to either wait a bit for a spot or finding street parking and walking.
