Terrible. I thought I would give it a try. After not going there for over 10 years. The cheese steak B-/C+. the chicken tenders can't even be chicken. It's some weird almost paste like substance. The mozzarella sticks also horrible. Processed cheap food. I could buy better out of the Publix frozen food aisle. I can't believe they are still in business. It is overpriced for the amount of food that you get, the steak did not taste fresh and was sliced too thick. There wasn't good enough meat to bread ratio. The guy who took our order was rude. However, the location was great and the ambiance is the only it has going for them. read more

1st cheesesteak - made w the wrong meat. 2nd attempt - every condiment was either wrong or missing entirely - even after 30 minutes the maskless staff wasn't even able to assemble the few correct igredients for a literal sandwich, despite having written instructions. This place is surprisingly good. We went here because it looks like a neat little hole in the wall, and who doesn't like an authentic philly. The place has outdoor seating only and you can see into the kitchen while they cook your food which is great. I got what I came for, greasy cheesy and flavorful Phillip cheesesteak. I was pretty pleased with my food. The boyfriend got a burger which he said was also very good. Hole in the wall places are hit or miss and this place is definitely a hit. Try it out! read more

They were asking me if I was sure if I wanted my sandwich instead of another because it would take longer. Plus when ever the shorter chef is there the foods good if anyone els is cooking I'd rather get McDonald's. They're over priced for the quality of the food and the staff being the way they are. While the sandwich was tasty, the portion of meat was most ungenerous and the cheese hardly able to taste at all. Not enough for a $10 plus tax. I would skip this place if you're hungry and not liking to get ripped off. Worth $5 maybe. read more

I would never order anything else from there. I paid $16 for something I could of gotten from McDonald's.

So I ordered delivery with Uber eats . They ask for your order . I ordered hot dogs with raw onion , asked for sauerkraut and relish through special instructions which was on the receipt. If you won't give the customer what they ask for just cancel the order . Hot dogs seemed old and dry , they actually have cooked onion which amounted to about 4-5 tiny pieces . The cheesesteaks here are pretty legit and this is definitely a good place to hit up if you've been drinking on Atlantic Ave. The service is fast and it's not too expensive. I usually opted for the regular Philly Cheesesteak with fries (which are really really good, mind you). I can't attest to whether they blow actual Philly cheesesteaks from Philadelphia out of the water, but I will say there is really no other place like this in Delray and the food is pretty yummy so it's a good place to eat. read more

This is some serious cheesesteak - done the traditional Philly way. I'm not usually a fan of cheese whiz, and should probably have asked them to put less of it into my cheesesteak, but I could definitely see the appeal of the whole product in the end. Soft, fresh hoagie bun with the cheese whiz all melting in your mouth, and with tasty steak that's not overly shredded like in some places - it's a win! And I imagine that for the Philly folks, there is no better place to get a taste of home in southern Palm Beach area than here. And just so everyone knows - it's a very casual place where service won't go very far. And as for the set-up, it's very much like any one of those late-night pizza shops you find in South Beach. The Cheesesteak was 5 stars. The large with your choice of cheese, onions, peppers and mushrooms was $9.25 but was excellent. Very tender and flavor-able rib eye. The fries and onion rings were frozen. So even though they were high quality they weren't cut fresh so they get just 3 stars. read more

if you have the opportunity to go to this place in Delray Beach I highly recommend that you go. My wife and I were looking for cheesesteaks and we have happened upon Groupon for cheese steaks let me just say that this place is small but what it lacks in size it definitely makes up for in their cheesesteaks. We ordered the regular cheesesteaks with mushrooms and onions and also a side of tater tots. They also have birch beer if you're interested we haven't had such good cheesesteaks since we're up in Philadelphia. This place is definitely a gem on Atlantic Avenue prices are reasonable however parking is a little difficult because it's right on Atlantic Avenue on the corner. so you probably have to park somewhere around back but it's definitely worth the trip. I went here on the 4th of July, right after Delray's fireworks display. The streets were riddled with people and so were the restaurants. The genuinely unique characteristic of this cheesesteak grill is that they were fast and the food was fresh. I had an original cheesesteaks and fries, both of which were not too greasy, which you can expect from most joints like this. I recommend this place for lunch or a quick bite (but a filling one). It was good just a little over priced for what you get in my opinion. Other then that the quality is good.

This evening while walking by a customer was eating outside coughing without covering her mouth on her phone stating loudly that her doctor had told her she had the coronavirus. She obviously was trying to get the attention of the people around her, but with the state of affairs it's not something to lightly joke about. I called Big Al's to let them know what was going on the female manager on duty, who was inside said she hadn't heard her say anything. Obviously, the woman was outside and the manager inside. For them not to take this specific issue seriously is an extremely poor decision for a food service restaurant. I highly recommend upper management speaking with their team on how to handle this situation, including health and sanitation during a major outbreak. Highly disappointed and needless to say won't be going here any time soon. read more

Decided to check out this place because I was in the mood for a Philly Cheesesteak. I ordered a number 1 with everything onion, mushroom and bell peppers with provolone cheese, it was really good and the flavor was good too. I also ordered breaded wings for my kids, the breading was a lot and had a salty taste. Probably next time I'll order plain wings without the breading. Staff was nice but they needed to keep up with cleaning tables outside, luckily had wipes to clean the table. I will give it another chance to try them out again. read more

The quality of the meat used is actually good! The only note made on my order was to toast the bread. The bread was soggy and soft. The jalapeño poppers were similar to a product you could buy at aldi and pop in the oven. I had my mouth watering for this sub and when I open my food all I got was 1pc of steak that folds with the bread. I ordered from their website for delivery. Doordash did a contactless drop off of food. I grabbed the food and realized that my Fried Oreos were not sent. I texted the driver and he stated that they said everything was there, and I should contact Doordash to get refund for missing items. BIG PROBLEM... I didn't order through my DoorDash app so the order is not registered. I contacted the restaurant and a young gentleman advised they did not have Oreos today. He advised he had to speak with the manager to see if I can get a refund or a credit for future order. I gave my contact info... and I have yet to get a call back. The Oreos was the main reason I ordered from them. Now, I'm out the Oreos and the money spent on them. This is completely unacceptable as my contact info is clearly on the receipt. I should have been contacted immediately upon realizing the Oreos were not available. There is no excuse for them not contacting me if indeed they were not serving Oreos today.
