Upon entering it's mostly a take out joint. The meats are all sliced fresh daily or as needed. Which is nice to see. I got an Italian and a Philly. The customer service is lacking, being the first time there felt very rushed. I'm guessing because they didn't have extra staff? There were two ppl on the cold bar and one on the grill. The half subs are very large, larger than a 6 inch so it's totally filling to not have chips and be full. The Philly was super greasy. The Italian was good but not much meat at all. Have not been able to find a cheesesteak that matches them, however this one was great. The blonde heavily tattooed woman working the cash register is a very unhappy person. Which is surprising because right after she takes your order their computer asks you for a tip. I don't believe in tipping someone who isn't waiting on a table anyway (besides bartenders and baristas), but being rude isn't a great way to go about earning them. This has been our goto every weekend sub shop for the past 5 years, and since the new owners, we have come here 3 times and been dissatisfied, so today was our last visit. They have NO lunch specials any more. They raised thier prices which is reasonable but they cut the portion size in half. They are shave slicing the meats and cheeses so thin you can see through them. The bread rolls have gotten smaller. Essentially, THEY ARE A GIANT RIP OFF NOW! The only thing that was the same was that the toppings are still included and they are still fresh. The wrap was stuffed full of meat and it was boars head which made it even better! They don't skimp you on the sub! Also love the selection of chips. It's not your normal selection and they were not those little bags of chips most everybody has at sub/ sandwich shops. Only complaint is the way it was cut.
