Got on the waitlist on Yelp for Saturday morning brunch--wait time on the app said it would be long, but when we got there and checked in we were seated almost immediately. Plenty of parking. There were so many good options here, but I settled for the yard work skillet and a biscuit and my boyfriend got the breakfast wrap. I got the skillet without bell pepper and mushrooms and added bacon. I thought it was pretty good! The biscuit was amazing and super fluffy. Our waitress was really friendly and went out of her way to bring different jams to try with the biscuit and getting us to go cups for our drinks. Great southern breakfast. Everything we had was great. Had to wait 30 minutes for a table and place was packed so service was a bit slow. The Winner- Cat head biscuit- chicken, gravy and cheese. Im not a fan of white gravy but this one is amazing. Breakfast crumble - has creamy grits, bacon, eggs, biscuit bits, sounds messy but is delish. It's always busy so seating for especially large parties may be challenging but that's the nature of every breakfast spot in the area during tourist season. I will say that everything I've had here has been amazing and you can tell that great care goes into the food. All of their gravies are good and go amazing with their fluffy biscuits. I've had their chicken and waffles and while it's not as authentic as you would maybe get deeper into the country, it's still solid with the chicken seasoned well and not dry. read more

Service was reasonable enough, but we were forced to sit at the bar after the hostess told us that joining the line on Yelp meant nothing and even though we joined the wait list an hour before arriving, we would still have to wait an hour + for a table since she didn't actually put us on list til arrival. We were anticipating a wonderful breakfast since we've frequented BBB in Birmingham. Our party of seven ordered pancakes, the BBB skillet, hash browns, and sausage. The only item that was enjoyed was the hash browns. No one finished their breakfast. The pancakes did not have their usual distinct BBB vanilla flavor, the pancake syrup was too strong for the pancake flavor, and the sausage was the worst we've ever had. The hostess and server were really nice and we didn't have a long wait. While we know BBB typically is a wonderful experience, we won't be returning to this location based on first impressions. read more

Stopped in this morning on a whim. Wait time was very minimal. Food was delicious. I had the Big Bad platter and the hubby had the Big Bad skillet. Very good food, friendly staff. We like to sit at the bar and talk with other guests and Danny when he's not too busy. I ordered the Avocado Toast and it was almost more than I could eat. My husband ordered the Jack Benny and said it was delicious. The bloody Mary mix is made in-house and t has a very nice, distinct salsa-like flavor. We liked it a lot.
