My husband and I went for breakfast last week and everything was so good! The biscuits were so big and fluffy and the grits and spicy bacon were great. I usually order to-go (but have sat down for table service as well), and it's literally amazing I am obsessed. The staff is super nice, the food is always ready in the time they say and Ive never waited more than a few minutes to get the food from the person at the front. Its always hot and fresh. The pancakes are by far the best pancakes ive had in Mobile. The maple syrup is outstanding and the flavor of the pancakes is straight up addicting. The Breakfast Crumble is one of the best things Ive had for breakfast in years. The biscuits are buttery flakey heaven, the bacon is thick and there is plenty of it the dish you dont get skimped on bacon whatsoever, and the tomato gravy is just out of this world. I want to drown everything in it. The BLT omelette is super great. I even enjoyed the greens on the side tossed in this light delightful vinaigrette, and the hash browns are sooo incredibly crispy. I think this is by far the best breakfast/brunch place in Mobile. Ive tried them all and never had better food anywhere, even when I get it to-go. 10/10! And the vibe in the restaurant itself is perfect, cute outdoor seating as well on a nice day. read more

So... this is our 2nd time at this restaurant for breakfast. And both times the service was horrible. The food is not bad but the service can make or break your experience. We really wanted to LOVE this restaurant since it's very close to where we live. First experience the waitress did not tell us the bacon or chicken was spicy and the food was cold. Second experience food was COLD and BIG BAD BREAKFAST it was not. Me and my daughter ordered the skillet BIG BAD BREAKFAST and the portions were not big and bad at all. I was thinking more Texas style, the portions are quite small. I suggest you hire new staff and up the portion size and this establishement will for sure be big and bad. read more

They sent refried French fries out to me. Disgusting. I asked the waitress if this is what they normally look like and she said yes. I told her that can't be. And I asked her to re-fry some. They brought out new fries and They looked absolutely different. The chicken sandwich is supposed to be the Charles Barkley of chicken sandwiches but it was one single chicken strip and it wasn't even breaded as described. On a cheap piece of potato bread or something. Maybe it was my fault that I ordered a chicken sandwich and fries at a breakfast place. But the menu really sold it.. A manager came by and talk to me about it and I showed her the fries. And she knew that they were wrong for that. She asked about the sandwich and I told her that I didn't think it was very good either. She didn't offer to make it right. I still tipped the waitress 20% but I have no reason to go back. Great food. Will definitely come back. We drove 40 minutes to visit & it was worth it.

Yesterday we ordered a Togo and the food looked decent. Though the burger bun was soaking wet and fries were cold. We took the food home and ate what was edible. Less then 2 hours later my wife and I both got sick. We had not eaten anything else, so I know it was this places food. We both were up all night off and on with stomach cramps, nausea sand diarrhea. I have had food poisoning years ago, and this definitely was the same exact thing. I would definitely never go back. The reviews on here are too good to be true. read more

Wait times were horrible. We were told you had be on site to check in, but when we got there you could check in on yelp. If you knew someone there you got seated like a VIP. Food was not as good as Birmingham!!! But one good thing our waitress was amazing but was over worked. My to go remake wasn't even cooked right. Everyone's order was cold waited over a hour to be seated. I ordered the Cajun omelet. I had at least a half of a cup of grease on my plate I drained off and somehow the eggs where still over cooked and dry. The shrimp where chewy the side of bacon was like biting into a cold fruit by the foot. My pancakes where sub par at best honestly I have no idea why this place got good reviews. read more

I put our name on the list ahead of time. Like 30 minutes before and it said a 30-45 minute wait. When we get there, they can even find my reservation and say I have to put my name on the list again and then quote me the exact time as what my reservation slated is to be sat at when they did find my reservation. What was the point of me "getting in line" ahead of time if it did no good. It was chaotic and disorganized at the front and we ended up just leaving. Super disappointed. read more
