Took my board in today to get it cleaned up and ready for the season. Fair price, Staff is chill and board looks great!

Big Benny's Trail Masters Wrightwood, CA.

The service was absolutely outstanding. No complaints. I recommend stopping in for a bike rental. Spent a few hours riding around Wrightwood neighborhood. Totally stress free environment. Coming from Santa Fe, NM.....I NEEDED THAT.

Definitely would recommend renting snowboarding or skiing gear from Bennys! Super nice staff too!

Went in a little over a month ago and the 2 gentlemen there were extremely helpful and friendly. Made renting a board and gear a breeze. Also have a good selection of things with affordable prices.

Popped into Benny's last minute on Christmas Day to rent snowboarding gear. Service was excellent, employees were so kind and seemed happy to be there despite the fact that it was a holiday. They got us in and out quickly but really took the time to ask questions and make sure we were comfortable in our gear. We'll be back and we'll definitely be telling all our friends about big Bennys !

My friends and I stopped by this local mom and pop shop to rent out our gear for a day filled with snowboarding activities at Mt. High. Pricing was extremely reasonable and I was glad to have stumbled upon this place. I agree 100% with all of the good reviews you see here about this place. We decided to go the rental route and came out feeling good about the little money we did spend. I believe we paid around $20 for our boards/boots and binding. We were in and out of this place within 10 minutes. Staff here were extremely helpful towards us first time visitors. They even have a few cute photo ops outside of their store. Thank you for such a great experience Big Benny's!

My brother had previously recommended Big Benny's as his go to for rentals so it was an obvious choice for us when we went up this year. The staff were amazing, right when we walked in we were helped and able to get boards and snow shoes very easily. They even threw in the pants in for some of us when we realized we forgot to add those to our order! The prices here were so affordable, honestly for the price you are paying it feels like you are robbing them, I 100% will be returning and renting from here again!

So kind! We had to get stuff for half the group that were experienced and half who weren't and the staff were very nice and helpful. The quality of every item we rented was great and so affordable too. Very easy to rent and return.

This is located about 40mins (with traffic) from the mountain and the prices are amazing! Rental for skis and snowboard is only $25. They even do snow pants and jacket rentals which is a great spot for first timers not willing to invest in the whole outfit. Rentals don't include helmet. Helmet is $11 to rent. And goggles you have to purchase. It wasn't crowded when we went and we went on a busy day on January 2nd. It's a small shop and everyone is super friendly and helpful with finding you the right gear. They are all about safety as well. They accept card now and they do $100 deposit. They also offer $1 insurance for your gear just incase it gets stolen/breaks. This is pretty good as well instead of paying the full price that goes up to $300. They give you a pink slip as receipt after you pay. KEEP THESE! If you return with 5, your rental is FREE! If your friends are not coming back you can take their pink slip. It doesn't have to be in your name. When we finally got to the mountain there's this huge line for rentals and they are pricier too. This place came in clutch. I highly suggest going here!

OMGGG..I can not rave enough about this place!!! Ever since a good friend recommended it to me…read moreyears ago, my fam and I have since come back for our EVERY snow need. PF Powder (aka P.F. McMullin Snowboard and Ski Co) is a cute small business ~ literally your one stop shop, specializing in all things ski & snowboard. It's located in Santa Ana in the deserted looking Edinger Business Park. They are definitely known for their discount prices on all winter/snow-related gear, outerwear, and accessories, as well as services like waxing, tuning, and rentals. When you walk in, the store is so neatly arranged and organized, it's super easy to find everything you are looking for. After coming here for so long, I legit just discovered that upstairs houses their "gently used" section, for those looking for an even more affordable option. The workers are super friendly, with a chill vibe. Everyone is knowledgeable & always willing you help you. My lil fam of 4 snowboards every year, so we have come here (year after year) to update our snow outfits, to googles, boots, snow socks, thermals, & beanies. You name it, they have it..AND we've bought it! Even when my kiddies wear younger..babies, we even got sledding/tubing gear here, so they could play in the snow. We really appreciate the affordable prices ~ ranging to discounted ones to more pricey name brands. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We were greeted multiple times stepping into the store and asked if we needed any help. We just came here for a snow jacket to prepare for real cold. The inside has cool decorations, snowboard brands etc kind of like a little wooden fort. Theres even a laddered second floor where they sell 2nd hand items. The store is divided into sections for board care/rentals, they have curtained fitting space and a toilet. They even have helmets and ski shoes. The prices here for snow jackets/gear (have pants too) are definitely cheaper than other name brand outdoor places and good quality (150-200), even cheaper than some outlets (but im not too well versed in brand comparisons so dont quote me if you are seasoned). I I think accessories might be cheaper at outlets?, but its more convenient to get everything in one place. They have toe warmers and google covers. They even have the board conditions for different mountains written on a white board as if you were up there in a resort. It would be great if they had a diagram for beginners of what clothing items/essentials to get including accessories and thermal layers as the store overall is very approachable to a southern californian newbie. The only thing is that it is a bit hole in the wall, parking is a bit confusing as you do look like you're pulling up to an inn. But there is a parking lot and we seemed okay parking there for our time here. Had a good time here, would recommend it to anyone looking to get into winter sports.

One of the most-used lifts on the west side wasn't working, which caused a lot of congestion. Traffic getting into the resort was rough, and the transport buses from the east to west parking lots weren't operating. There was no announcement about this, so my friends ended up walking from east to west parking, which was frustrating. On top of that, we experienced a fireplace being out of gas. They eventually got it lit, but by that time it was late, really cold, and we were about to head out because our lift tickets had expired. Overall, the resort has potential, but I felt unprepared for the crowd and the logistics were poorly communicated. Hopefully, they can improve operations and better handle busy days in the future.

Fast friendly service to get the rental and they showed us how to put the snowboard on. We still get a seat at the cafetaria. Cool. Restrooms are okay. We kept going in and out of the store buying stuff coz its our retail therapy and we wanted to get some memorabilias. We bought total of 2 snow jackets (Dankin, Roxi), 1 Mt High sweater, 2 goggles, 4 face neck covers , 6 keychains. There were 4 employees, 2 women, 2 men. 1 of the men was a total d**k. When I bought the first pair of goggle the other male staff helped me find a different style for my son for the same price range. The second time I went back to get the second pair of goggle for my daughter, it was the other male staff who was super inpatient kept saying "theres no other one for her size," upset body language when I asked to cut the tag off and yelled "I can help the next one" before I was even done paying. Geez. Why you worked there I wouldnt even know. This passive aggressive poor customer service was a definite minus 2 stars. When I went to the ski patrol, inside was warmed and friendly stuff. I asked for my daughter to be helped going down the hill and they helped her with a sled. This was the solid 5 stars. Closer to 230 pm lots of drunk young men even fell on the ground in the cafetaria with his group laughing cursing obnoxiously to each other. No staff said nothing. Restrooms were absolutely disgusting at this point. It was snow storm. We were headed out by 3 pm and my Sienna, in the handicap parking space, was stuck. We parked in the $30 lot. The snow truck plowing all the snow in front of my car, and someone else parked behind my car. It was actively snow storming, and my son wanted to borrow shovel, and they took my phone as a guarantee we will returned the shovel. I saw other cars also struggling . My kids pushed the car and finally we were able to get out. Conclusion, dont go in snow storm, and I would stand up to that annoying staff in the store and told him off.
