This was the first pizza place I encountered after getting off one of those horrendous Southwest planes. I was already thinking pizza as soon as I got into the rental and it was a pleasant surprise to meet a staff as pleasant as they were. The place wasn't too crowded,but not bad at all as people were obviously enjoying the place and the food. I normally like toppings on my pizza. This is one of those rare spots that hits the perfect note with just a cheese pie. Piping hot, not too saucey, fresh crust, solid fold. Love the inside of the place. We sat across a wall that had 09/11 plaques. Awesome. One thing though. A couple of ladies sat in front of us and they were eating their pizza with a...fork!! I love the thin sliced peppers, mushrooms, and onions with some great Italian sausage. I feel like I'm back on the east coast for a minute. Perfect crust and the sauce and cheese were seasoned just right. We went back for a second time on Friday night and the place was packed with a room full of people waiting, so we decided to get it to go. Was just as good the second time. My family and I have been going to Big Bill's for years and we love it. The food is always good and everyone is friendly. The pizza is just what you want in New York style comfort food pizza. If you're a New Yorker transplant this is the spot to hit up for amazing pizza! I recently moved away from Colorado and this is one of the few spots I miss. The pizza is excellent, the garlic knots are more garlic than knot (in a good way), and the marinara sauce... I have no idea what's in it but I could easily order a gallon of it and be the happiest person on earth. This spot quickly became a weekly occurrence. We went there so often we actually got all our friends to hit up the spot too! My only regret is that they aren't on Goldbelly, as I wish I could have another slice. read more

Big Bills is just really good New York Pizza. I prefer to eat the pizza at their location so that I can see all of the photos of Big Bill with famous athletes from across the country. Sometimes I just wanted to see Big Bill who is about 6 foot 8 with his smart car!! I love all of their pizza combinations, their garlic knots and please get a salad if you can. Ok, I get that it's hard to find decent pizza in the Denver area but come on, whats with all the 5 star reviews? First no respectable pizza place anywhere no less NY uses a conveyor belt pizza oven. Pizza needs to be cooked right on the brick of a genuine pizza oven which Big Bill's has but doesn't use for pizza (go figure). I was disappointed based just on that when I stepped up to the counter but truly hoped the food would still be decent at least, I mean hundreds of 5 star reviews cant all be wrong can they? Answer, YES, yes indeed they can be. The pizza wasn't even on par with Papa Johns and that is a low bar IMO. Tasteless, clearly cheap ingredients, i ordered a large pizza and garlic knots and both were awful. Almost the entire pie went into the trash. Come on Denver its really not hard to make decent pizza. read more

We're very rarely in the Centennial area but as luck has it, we had to go down there the other day to do some stuff, and afterwards we were all ready for dinner. I fired up the Yelp app and searched for Pizza, Big Bill's was highly rated so we decided to stop on in. First of all let me say I'm a NYC born and raised Pizza-Snob. :-) As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a very friendly host that sat us at a table immediately. Good thing we came when we did, because 5 minutes later the place was slammed by a lot of people...guess we timed it just right. We were very impressed by how organized and efficient the staff was. No more that a few minutes after we sat down someone came by to take or drink order. As the drinks were placed on the table our waitress came over and took our order. We ordered the Garlic Knots and a Large Cheese Pizza w/ Garlic. The garlic knots arrived in a few minutes and tasted very good! A short time later the pizza arrived and let me tell you...IT WAS COOKED PERFECTLY! We live up North so it's doubtful we will become regulars, but if we're ever in the area again and feel like Pizza...we'll be sure to return. read more

This place has been on my bookmark since a long time. So finally decided to go in and grab a slice. I asked them what slices they had and was told that I could choose any of their toppings and they would make it to order. Wow, really? For a slice too? Impressive! The price of a topping for a custom slice is $.50 so I probably wouldn't choose more than two toppings. Anyways I kept it simple and ordered a slice of cheese pizza. On chatting they found that it was my first time there. My order was ready quite soon and they gave me a big bag while mentioning that it was for the first timer. On opening the bag, found that they had included a complimentary order of garlic knots too! Who does that? I mean I only ordered a slice for $2.50 and they give me a complimentary starter which costs a dollar more. Such friendly service! The pizza had a good crust. Thin and had a slight crunch. Sauce was pretty good too. Garlic knots were a little dry on the inside. The sauce it was served with was also too salty for my liking. They seem to have quite a few vegetarian entrees as well and they are all reasonably priced. The interiors look very cozy and they have lots of seating. Would love to come back someday and dine-in! read more
