I saw a delivery vehicle in my area and looked them up. They had decent reviews on here, so I ordered a supreme pizza and hot wings. It seems that the majority of the people on here really liked the wings, but I thought they were just ok. I prefer my hot wings to have a vinegar bite in them, and these lacked that. Not bad, just not my preference. I did, however, really enjoy the pizza! It had good flavor and I really liked the crust. Since this is a pizza place and not a wing place, I can definitely see myself getting pizza from them again! Might also give either their poppers or potato skins a try, too. read more

Three words: Old Bay Wings! If you love wings and you love Old Bay seasoning, you will absolutely love these tasty treasures. I order mine extra, extra crispy and they always turn out perfect. Two other favorites are the Chicken Parmesan sub and the HUGE, loaded Potato Skins. The only downside is that delivery can be slow - usually 45 minutes to an hour. Therefore I recommend ordering as soon as they open at 11 a.m. if you hope to have your food in time for lunch at noon. Given the slow delivery, I think the $2 delivery charge is a bit too much. Big Bite is our go-to pizza/wings/salad/burrito delivery place. Awesome. I love both the pizza and the wings. Honestly, the quality goes up and down on the pizza- if they cook it properly, it's definitely one of my faves, but sometimes its overcooked. But the wings are right on, though sometimes there's not enough sauce. I want my wings drowning in it! My wife loves the chicken salads, the burritos, and the fries. And their bleu cheese. read more

This was our weekly go to and we knew we were going to receive high quality tasting food. Recently, ordered hot wings and the first order I was told I didn't order anything and was questioned whether or not I was even in the right place. After some pressing, and insisting I was at the correct place and waiting for 49 minutes, the receipt was found on the back end of the cash register machine. The second time we ordered wings and we were shocked and sadly disappointed with not only the quality of the food but the lack of customer service. Not only did I feel the staff disregard my disappointment in the mix up with the dressing but no solution was provided. I went back to the counter Insisting the blue cheese tasted and had a consistency of ranch dressing. The staff argued and found reason to prove my statement invalid. I think that these two instances are largely disappointing. We probably will look else where or someplace better. read more

We ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza and teriyaki wings. The pizza really good, as were the wings. The wings were a tad salty, but the homemade blue cheese dressing was a delicious compliment. I'd give this place about 4.5 stars. I've ordered from here LOTS of times, and it's been good and bad, but far more good than bad, and the bad I can write off as "everyone screws up sometimes." It's super easy to order online, delivery is quick and the drivers are great, and the food is pretty consistent. I love the potato skins, chicken quesadillas are pretty good, and the wings are perfection. I love the wings. I always order hot, cooked extra, extra well. No, that's not a typo. See, that's what's great about this place - they offer a million kinds of customization, so you literally have 6 choices on how you want your wings cooked. As others have said, it's a little expensive, but that said, if I didn't want to spend any money I would stay home and cook myself. On nights I order out, I don't want to cook, so I pay the price. Been here on and off for a few years now. Love their calzones, gyros, steak and cheese. Pizza is damn good, wings are awesome, and if you order Cheese Fries they're swimming in cheese, not just a little squirt :p Never had an issue with pick-up or delivery. Never an issue with their site, this isn't the 90's so ordering on the phone is archaic, the employees have always been kind to me never rude despite having orders with special instructions. My favorite place to order pizza. There crust is perfect as the ends are nice and crisp. Lots of cheese and definitly greasy but they use its worth it for the cheese. There layered "nachos" are incredible. My favorite wings though I rarely order since I have no one to share them with. I have given these people business over the years, but now I say it publicly that this is IT I am done! . When they do a good job, the food is great, but when they make a mistake, it is inedible, and they take ZERO ZERO ZERO ZERO responsibility!!! I had an awful experience with Big Bite. I called one evening to order delivery. I was put on "hold", which just consisted of the worker setting the phone down for about ten minutes and having a loud, inappropriate, personal conversation with coworkers. After about five minutes, I started loudly asking politely for someone to pick back up but it seemed they had forgotten about me. Someone finally picked back up. I gave them my order. They asked for my telephone number and address. I gave them both. I am told my food will arrive in about 20 minutes. I call back 45 minutes later and they say they came to my residence and no one was home. I was sitting by the front door the entire time--- I am positive no one came. I ask why no one called me. They say they had called me. It turns out they had written down the incorrect phone number and address. So they accuse me of giving the wrong information and say that this is my fault. I know my address and phone number! It is an understandable mistake but it is certainly not my fault and the worker should have confirmed everything. They say they will send my food back out shortly. I say that I only want the food if it is still hot. They say that they personally checked it and it is still hot. So I wait another half hour. The food finally arrives. Of course it is not hot after all this time. I tell the delivery man that I do not want to pay for cold food. I call the restaurant because he does not have the authority to make that call (understandable). They say they will call in a manager but he won't be able to arrive for 15 minutes so they tell me that the delivery man and I need to wait for 15 minutes at my house for the manager before they will decide what needs to be done. Finally a manager calls me and tells me that he somehow personally checked the food (despite not being there) and that it was hot. I explain that I work in a restaurant and would never reject food unless it was absolutely unacceptable. He tells me I must keep the food and pay for it. He says I should have a food thermometer on hand to check food and that I need to send him a picture of a food thermometer in the food at a low temperature for them to wave the charge. After much arguing, I explain that I will keep the food, not pay for it, but tip the driver. He acknowledges that he understands what I am saying, curses me out, and hangs up on me. I tip the driver generously and he goes back. The manager proceeds to call me five times throughout the night (while I am going to bed---he called very late) cursing me out and telling me how awful I am for (all incorrect): giving the wrong address, lying to the driver, lying to him, refusing to pay, etc. I ask him to stop calling me. He curses me out again and hangs up on me again. This was the worst food-related experience I have ever had. I strongly recommend against ever ordering from here and I hope that the workers and managers above are taught an important lesson about customer service and food preparation. We are loyal customers for over 20 years opps I'm telling on our age:) Delicious crust, cheese, tomatoes, fresh oven crisp green peppers and onions, black olives, ham, hamburger, pepperoni, gourmet treat. Calorie counting, the original tomato sauce home made is really not greasy tasting at all! Weight watchers I'm sure would calculate a you must treat yourself to this delicious mega mouth watering out of this world delight. Big bite has the best wings. I usually get the hot wings well done. They have a good deal for hot wings and fries for $10. I have ordered most items from the menu. The Stromboli is really large and good for sharing. Blackened chicken wrap-was ok. They have a crispy or grilled chicken on a soft roll bun which is great. One of my favorite places. read more

They were okay. Pizza was average, wings were average. Food was luke-warm upon arrival, but not cold. I see a lot of people saying that the food was good, and service was bad, but for me all the above was just average. 2.5 stars (rounded up to 3 stars). Always my go to pizza place. A few weeks ago put a note on an order which said "pizza for 7 year old feel free to draw on box." Pizza came with a Mickey Mouse on front. The little girl was elated. Consistently good food. I have only ever gotten delivery and have never been disappointed. Highlights: The Old Bay wings are delicious, especially when they cook them crispy and piping hot. Dipping sauces are good and plenty big enough. The pizza is the best we've tried in the Alexandria area (including Valentino's, Paisano's, etc.). Not NY style but good. The sauce isn't too sweet, the cheese is melty and gooey, and it's nice to have a choice of thin or regular crust both of which are very good. The thin crust is a cracker-like crust, flaky and light. The regular crust is not too doughy and cooked well. We've also tried the calzones (huge and stuffed with good things), the gyro (tasty), and chicken burrito (simple and stuffed). Salads are ok, nothing special. The potato skins are huge but artery-clogging as they are greasy, cheesy, bacony, starchy, fried boats. The delivery people are always nice, food comes pretty fast (30 minutes on a typical Friday night). Definitely recommend. read more

I am a vegetarian and love the Mexican pizza from here. I have always had my pizza delivered and 8 out of 10 times it comes piping hot and fresh. I have only had bad experience a couple of times. It is more expensive than pizza hut or papa johns, but the pizza is def. better. One complain I have is if I want to substitute one existing topping with another, they still charge me like i am getting an EXTRA topping (pls. they are all veggies - nothing premium about them). We tried this after getting a very professional/expensively made flyer in the mail. The place is basically just a walk up counter with a few red bar stools. Sodas are in cans in a glass faced cooler. This is primarily a take out or delivery place, not a dining destination. Plenty of people working there, at least 2 delivery vehicles are in the parking lot every time I go there, and they seem busy. Busy is good. Busy means other people think they're good and the food isn't sitting around under a hot lamp waiting for the next customer to come along. The guy I've spoken with on the phone has a clue. Sometimes the people working at take out places don't always understand you, but this guy does. Its refreshing to have confidence that the guy on the phone got your order right. 4 stars because it has a big menu, nice staff behind the counter, and it usually doesn't take too long. The only reason it doesn't have 5 stars is because some items in the place seemed worn and dirty. The TV on top of the soda cooler is filthy. Not just the glass screen, but where you punch the buttons too. That right there is not super-appetizing, but I'll look past that because the food is good. read more

The pizza is also prepared quickly so that is a nice side benefit when you are really hungry but have zero motivation to cook!
