Lots of different bagel and sandwich options. I opted for the BLT with garlic mayo on a salted egg bagel with a sea salt caramel latte. Gabrielle took my order, she was lovely and patient. The food did not take long at all and was cooked to order. The bagel was really good, loved the flavor. I will say the garlic mayo on the bagel was the star! I will definitely visit again when in Savannah!

The open faced sandwich was a little less money and it was nice to see an option without paying platter price. They didn't skimp on the salmon. I ended up taking the other 1/2 back to hotel any my husband and I shared the next morning. I call the portion enough for 2 or for just my kid who loves smoked salmon. The morning we left Savannah we got a bagel with "lox" for my daughter and one for me to share with my husband. He got a bagel with lox spread and then took 1/2 my salmon and we both had plenty. Service was friendly and it's quick serve. The size is small but was very clean. It's definitely not the delis I am used to, but the bagels were great and the prices are reasonable. I say that not as criticism of Foxy Loxy, because I absolutely love this place and visit regularly, but as someone who considers himself a true coffee-shop enthusiast, I think it's only fair to give fellow coffee lovers the complete picture. For me, Foxy Loxy wins because it combines very good coffee with an outstanding atmosphere, making it one of the most enjoyable coffee shop experiences in the city. The atmosphere is exactly what you hope to find in a cool downtown coffee shop. Whether you're working inside, grabbing a seat upstairs on the second level, or hanging out in the back courtyard (my personal favorite spot), Foxy Loxy has you covered. There's plenty of seating, great food and drink options (their tacos and chips and queso are amazing), and an outdoor patio that offers tons of shade from both umbrellas and mature trees. They even have a really cool water feature and regularly host wine nights and campfire events that make the place feel more like a community gathering spot than just a coffee shop. This is truly one of Savannah's gems and absolutely worth a visit. On the coffee side, one of my personal favorites is a cortado with horchata. That said, I've yet to find a bad choice on the menu. No matter what you order, you're probably going to leave happy. Pro tip: If you're spending some time there and want to explore afterward, head out the front door, take a left, and keep walking until you reach Forsyth Park, one of Savannah's most iconic destinations. I was excited to try this place, but the chef's creepy behavior ruined it. He loudly flirted with two young girls in front of everyone inside, gave them free cake, and awkwardly justified it by mentioning his daughter. Flirting with noticeably younger girls and giving them free food in front of workers and customers is weird. He came outside after, clearly doing damage control, but cut us off as we spoke to get on his phone and walk away. Expensive for mediocre food, but that's not an issue as we were creeped out before, during, and after eating. Totally unprofessional and left a bad impression as a Sav local. - I hope the owner handles her chef's behavior, nonetheless. Replying to the owner's response--since replies are conveniently disabled: It's disappointing that you chose a passive-aggressive tone and only addressed one of the many concerns. That response reflects more on your business than anything else. Your chef acted entitled because management enables that behavior. Instead of handling it professionally, you defended it and attacked not one, but two paying customers. Other customers were even discussing his actions outside--if only you understood the weight of the behavior you encourage could have on your success . Your reply could've earned back some respect, but instead, it pushed away potential loyal customers. But then again, if your idea of customer service includes an older male chef making younger female customers uncomfortable with awkward flirting, perhaps it's for the best. Six years in, you should know better. I hope you take this as a chance to learn what real customer service looks like. Sad. read more

I've heard great things about this restaurant but had a bad experience. The pizza lacked flavor, the cheese was rubbery, and the bread had a frozen taste. The chef openly flirted with young women and gave them free food in front of other customers, including myself. He behaved as if the rest of us in the store were invisible, which made the situation extremely awkward for everyone. He also asked how my food was, and while I was answering, he turned away and got on his phone. Very poor customer service and mediocre food. Despite attempts to respond to the owner's review reply, the function conveniently doesn't work--though the tone of the owner's public response says enough. The chef's behavior was inappropriate and unsettling, attempting to engage in questionable conversations with much younger women under the guise of offering free food and referencing his daughter. Rather than addressing this problem, the owner--who wasn't even present--chose to defensively justify it with a tone equally as unprofessional. This dismissive attitude from both chef and owner reflects a deep-rooted issue within the store's environment. An opportunity to acknowledge and correct inappropriate staff behavior was not only missed but handled in a way that shows a disturbing lack of accountability. The defensive attitude and immature communication from leadership make it clear why customers are uncomfortable--and why they won't return. read more

Waters cafe has been on my list for a while, and I'm so glad I finally got to stop by today! First…read moreof all, I absolutely LOVE all the colors and the cheerful, welcoming vibes both inside and out. I ordered a lavender latte and the salmon lox bagel, and my date had the Callahan sandwich with tea. Everything was delicious and came out surprisingly fast, especially considering how busy and packed the café was. I'll definitely be back!
