    Crab Puff

Solid Chinese food at a great price--Big Bowl is that low-key gem you wish you found sooner. Let's talk highlights: the crab puffs? Unreal. Crispy on the outside, but the inside is creamy, rich, and flavorful in a way most places don't get right. I could easily take down a dozen. They're not just a side--they're the moment. The General Tso's Chicken was another win. Crunchy, saucy, and just the right mix of sweet and spicy. Not too greasy either, which I appreciate. Paired it with fried rice and felt like I had a full feast for a steal. Fast service, big portions, and food that hits the spot--Big Bowl does exactly what you want a casual Chinese spot to do. I'll definitely be back for more (and yes, I'm ordering extra crab puffs next time).

I ordered delivery from here on DoorDash, the food was done quickly, and everything was still hot and fresh upon arrival ! Everything I got was flavorful ! The lo mein was garlicky and perfectly cooked on the side of my general Tso chicken which was great as well! The pork fried rice has sweet bits of bbq pork pieces and was fantastic , and the Thai tea was the best I've ever had from here . I'll definitely be ordering again and trying more options !

We pass this place all the time and the parking lot is always full so we figured we would go in and try. We were not disappointed. we ordered Wor Wanton soup and NY Style Chicken Chow Main. It came with rice and crispy noodles. The chow mein was GREAT! The white rice was cooked to perfection, not too moist and just dry to my liking. the Wor Won Ton soup was ok, but could have been better using a chicken stock instead of beef. the wontons were hand rolled and used a heavier noodle. they were ok but I would have enjoyed a little different taste. the soup also lacked boc choy, parsley, sliced pork and more mushrooms. Over all, the meal was tastey and we will return again. Jeff AzcameraReviews

Upon arrival I was met by a withered woman with a nasty temperament who literally snatched my card out of my hand! While deep breathing & contemplating walking out, I decided not to respond in kind. After a few minutes of me sitting in what looked more like a storage unit than a restaurant, she made me aware that my food was ready, rolling her eyes in silence upon my "thank you." To my horror upon returning home, I discovered a rotting orange slice in my food & no plasticware in sight. Hopefully my garage can enjoyed the lunch special!

We ordered at least once a month! We have never been disappointed! They always quote us 45 minutes on delivery and the foods here in like 20 minutes! It is super hot and fresh every time. These are pictures of our order from tonight, but this is generally what we order! Didn't take a picture of my husband's Wong soup but he swears it's spot on !

4.5 Stars... I've been meaning to try this spot for a while so I stopped by tonight. The team members greeted me promptly as I walked through the door & were friendly. I ordered to go & got the Spicy Basil House Lo Mein with Fried Rice. The order came out fast & hot. When I opened my meal in my truck to eat it I noticed there was no fork or chop sticks which was a bummer so I had to grab a fork from Circle K. I was pleasantly surprised at how good my Lo Mein was, the ingredients seemed fresh, the cuts of meat weren't fat, ligaments, or questionable. It also had a bunch of grilled jalapenos in it which definitely added to the flavor. The only reason I docked them a 1/2 star was the lack of any sort of utensils & the $1.50 upcharge for fried rice was a mistake, the fried rice was absolutely flavorless, even after adding soy sauce (I'll stick with white rice next time & save myself the $1.50 & disappointment.) I will definitely be back & I want to try their lunch specials.

But, we'll see something new on the menue, and it then becomes our new favorite. ANYthing we order has been outstanding. The service is very friendly and very helpful. They are very accomodating. The atmosphere is not fancy, but it is clean. While eating there, I always say. "I can't wait to come back." Just writing this review is making me yearn to eat there now, and I just ate there two days ago. Parking was a breeze and seating was spacious. I like the interior a lot and the service was quite good (seeing that it was only one person taking down the orders and cleaning! very fast for that). For the food, we ordered chicken fried rice, fragrance tender beef, fish-flavored eggplant, boiled fish with pickled cabbage, and dry fried green beans. All of these dishes were yummy, in particular, my parents love the boiled fish with pickled cabbage and fragrance tender beef. I do think there is solid sichuan spice flavor. This is a great place to get Chinese food in Arizona :) **something to note, there might be a heightened salty flavor in some dishes so be wary haha We always visit!

A Mesa Asian District Gem Worth Seeking Out…read more Asian Cafe Express is a lovely strip mall gem near H-Mart in Mesa's Asian District, and after 21 years in business, it clearly has a loyal following for good reason. We brought in a fresh lobster from H-Mart to try their "bring your own seafood" cooking option and chose the garlic onion stir fry preparation. It's $14.99 for anything under 2 lbs and $7.50/lbs for anything over. It came out excellent, served over crispy egg noodles with classic Asian flavors and plenty of wok-fired goodness. We also enjoyed the Peking pork ribs, which were deboned, tasty, and slightly sweet; the stir-fried green beans, which were fresh and well prepared; and the garlic spicy chicken wings, which were especially flavorful and highly recommended. The red bean drinks were traditional and satisfying, with soft, nicely soaked mung beans and no milk. Service was friendly, efficient, and personal, handled by a couple of ladies who clearly know the restaurant and their customers well. While we were there, plenty of regulars came in for takeout and several tables were happily dining in. Overall, we really enjoyed Asian Cafe Express and were surprised we had not stopped in sooner. Highly recommend, especially for the "bring your own seafood" cooking option and the garlic spicy wings. We will definitely be back.
