In the beginning it sounded like a dream come true. Made the appt for a sales guy to come out, first red flag was he was hours late to the appt and failed to call to communicate this. I had to call in to find out what was going on. Sales guy came with his speech, sold us on the turf saying it stays cool, won't smell with dog pee or poop, it's made just for dogs and gave the story about the owner and how the company got its name. We voiced our concerns about the dogs being able to dig or chew a hole through it was assured they couldn't as it's so thick (shocker: they chewed through it ). Then went and sat at my dinning room table going over alllill of the pictures of their work and how these guys do such an amazing job that the sales guy, I quote "they are so good? I don't know how they do it". Even showed us pictures in his phone of "local" projects that looks perfect. He went on to rave about the crew and how he will be there when they come to start the project and work as our project manager through out to make sure it's all done correctly and even said that he will do a walk through with us before they stamp the project done and if we're not satisfied they will fix it until he is happy and we are happy. We were told materials would be delivered before hand, discussed where to leave it so it didn't block our drive way. Next red flag: no material was delivered and nothing was communicated about it not. Come working day the crew shows up and flat out told my husband they weren't removing the pile of rock we had that that wasn't told to them. Had to get the sales guy and the manager on the phone because per our contract we paid for a certain square footage of dock to be removed and hauled to the dump (which I'm sure they just took to a local yard to resale). They wound up moving the rock after it was discussed it was part of our project and in contract that we're paying for. They completed jobthat was supposed to be scheduled for two days, in 5 hours. Not only did they do a shitty job not making sure edges were tucked in and flush with the wall (that was promised it would be) they left their garbage in my yard (I'm talking water bottles, scraps, etc). My husband called the manager yet again because this was unacceptable and he wound up having to come back to inspect the job and tuck in corners they failed to finish. He then told us that he will have the turf redone in the back to be flush with the wall like they were supposed to do in the first place. The sales guy came back to the house same day and even said this wasn't acceptable and sat in my dinning room again saying how sorry he was and that they promise to make it right. We wound up adding to our project of breaking up a concrete slab and having them lay pavers. We were told that they would do the pavers and repaired turf at the same time so our dogs weren't locked up all day and that they'd work around our work schedule. No one called us to tell us they were coming out but we happened to get alerts on our front yard cameras someone was trying to get into our back yard, when we pulled up the camera it was the crew there to do the pavers, no turf. Our dogs weren't in the back yard at this time and we were not home. Called the manager again who was surprised we didn't get a call for the appt and told his guys to leave, then told us they'd be out the next day to do the project. Later that same day the manager texted my husband saying the crew can't do it Sunday will be out Monday. A week later they tell us they'd have to come out Saturday instead, scheduled for 0930am. Come 1030 that Saturday morning they weren't there. My husband had to call the manager again to find out what was going on and was told that the crew was late because they had to pick up the pavers that they apparently didn't pick up because they left a dirt patch where the pavers are supposed to be and left saying they didn't have the pavers and would come back on a later day to finish the project. When contacting the manager yet again he stopped replying to our messages and stopped answering our calls yet we have to lay for this still read more

This is a terrible company. We had them do a small project in our backyard. The "employees" stole from us and the company refuses to do anything about it. At this point they have started ignoring my calls. I would recommend using literally any other turf company in Las Vegas. It is laughable that they have people commenting as if they are interested in helping figure this out. I have had two different people "on the case" and nothing has come of it. waste of my time. The first person denied everything. They basically insinuated we should've been video recording the entire job. The second person had me send them a copy of our contract (maybe they don't keep good records?) and then basically started ignoring my calls. please do not fall for this fake yelp customer service. Wow! I cannot say better things about this team. Rich - our consultant - was amazing. Rich came to our home & helped my wife with the design, color and vision. We met Rich at the stone sight and connected the colors against our house that created an elegant little wall that separates the artificial grass from the rock section. The deep rich custom artificial grass against the wall & lights at night is an eye catcher. Overall, working with the team was a breath of fresh air. Once the designs were complete, the crew came, and I met with the project supervisor Jose. Jose spent some time with us going over last minute details and they executed! In the end, Randy came & educated us about the grass and the lights - one final walk through - Done. Rich & the team definitely added life to our home and made the whole process easy! I am giving 1 star because of the unprofessionalism I experienced. I will say that the quality of the product and the installer teams were wonderful but the "higher ups" don't care about the customer. I live in an HOA and all of the guidelines were provided prior to installation. on installation day, the person who sold the project to me was supposed to be there, no one showed up and I later found out he was fired (not by the company) no one was reappointed to my project and no one showed up. I was told the project manager would show up end of day, he never showed up and talked to me. I have to tell the crew myself what was being done because no one was there to direct them. I was told the pavers I was having done may not be an exact match but would be as close as possible but a completely different color was installed. they did come back to change out the pavers and said it was fine as a courtesy to me, but that's called fixing your own mistake. i asked for a price adjustment on materials and labor since the original amount of pavers we discussed during the consultation were not Approved by the HOA and no materials were left behind. Bryan refused to give me any credit stating that what they did for me cost more than a credit I would have received which does not matter or make sense considering not all Of the work quoted was performed and Bryan did say all of the extra materials (that I paid for so they should have been left behind) were thrown away). Bottom line is they made a mistake and the responsibility and cost falls on them. I live in a small town home and what should have been a 1 day project turned in 30 days between all of the mistakes of burying my walkway lights and damaging irrigation lines and installing pavers that did not match even though it was made clear they needed to match. the communication was close to none. I had to constantly be the one to reach out Except for when they asked for payment of course. Although the work did come out well, customer service is a huge part of it and they completely fell short. I was patient and understanding and professional at all times so I am VERY unhappy with the lack of communication and the way Bryan spoke to me condescendingly and I feel i was cheated on many levels. We had our turf / concrete installed in May 2022. Loved everything when it was first done. First, we weren't too happy that the new concrete was a lot darker than our already existing concrete, even though we were reassured it would lighten to match. Last year we started to notice holes under the turf in certain areas (within a year of it being laid). Now walking on the turf we have multiple holes throughout. We also noticed drains weren't put in so water puddles severely (probably what has caused the holes) Have tried to contact regarding the warranty and cannot get ahold of the office.. read more

We did have to wait about 6 weeks though before installation was available. The turf does look very good and is of good quality, but it is very expensive, a lot more than what I thought I'd be paying. So far, I also don't see too much of a difference between this turf and my old turf when it comes to the heat aspect. I will start off by saying I was going to give Big Bully a "Good" review, BUT, I have changed my mind and given it a "Great" review because of what Big Bully has done to make our experience "right" again. We've heard from no less than 3 different people at Big Bully about our experience, which has really helped to feel heard and our concerns acknowledged. I suggest taking the time to read through this entire review so you can hopefully avoid some stressful issues we had. I want to start off with the positive: Our designer, James, was AMAZING from start to finish. James really helped us decide on a great design that we would be happy with. But once that was done, he should have been able to hand our project off to the project manager who would oversee the install. Since we never met or saw our "project manager," Randy, our only points of contact for our job were James and the install crew (who were also great...I'll get to them in a minute). James and the install crew saved our sanity during our install. James took calls and texts from us as he was able to (remember, he's a DESIGNER and had DESIGN appointments all day the first day of our INSTALL), and tried as best he could to address our concerns. He even came out to our house on Sunday (I believe his day off) at 7:00 AM to see how things were progressing and to see how we were doing. Our install crew was led by Israel, who was the most patient, cooperative and happy guy. This install was probably a bit stressful for the install crew too, as we did have some hiccups along the way (which are to be expected but should have been addressed by a project manager), but together, we figured it out and got it done. Without going into a TON of detail, our install was an extremely stressful and anxious two days. We never met Randy, never saw him on our job, never heard from him even after we are sure he would have known that we were pretty upset. We had no one "in charge" of our job, so when issues came up that Israel couldn't handle, we were stuck trying to figure out what could be done, or what we should do. Luckily, James made himself available as much as possible over the 2 days (Saturday, while he had design appointments scheduled, and Sunday, which I believe is his day off) to help us and Israel address the things that came up. On Monday morning, when we spoke to the office about warranty and care info, we told them how upset we were with Randy and how he handled our job. Shortly after that phone call, I received a phone call from Michael, the Sr. Project Manager, and we had a lengthy discussion about our experience. Michael acknowledged our concerns and apologized that we had a bad experience with Randy and our install. This made us feel heard, and that (hopefully) Big Bully is going to take steps to avoid this happening for other customers. We are reasonable people and Randy could have probably turned this whole thing around had he even made a tiny bit of effort to contact us. We still have never heard from him, although we were initially told he would be out to our house to do a post-inspection for the SNWA rebate. (Michael has since indicated he will do our SNWA inspection...probably a good idea.) Ultimately, our yard came out amazing, and we are very happy with the outcome, but we do feel it came with unnecessary obstacles and stress. We are NOT saying you should not go with Big Bully for your job. The design part was amazing (if you get James, you're totally solid!), and the installers themselves were fabulous (if you get Israel and his crew, two thumbs up!). Just ask who your project manager is going to be for your job and if they say "Randy," you may want to consider requesting someone else. Finally, while Big Bully's estimate was a little higher than the other estimates we got, we feel the quality of the materials and the fact that they are partnered with SNWA for the rebate process (we haven't had to do anything with that....they've done it all), are worth the extra. I have to agree with another review that says the only thing good about Big Bully Turf is the finished product. They do mislead about the installers being employees (they were not), about the sales person being onsite to guide the installers (he wasn't and the installers could not read the diagram) about my not having to be there for the installation (if I hadn't been they would be done the install incorrectly). They delivered some material on the day of installation (they said it would be the day before) and the truck broke down in the driveway and leaked oil on our pavers - I have not be able to get them back to clean up. read more

It was easy and quick to get an appointment. Mathew was on time and assisted us along the way on planning out our vision to transform our yard. He was so cool even played with our dog "Blue", while we discussed the finances and planning. They worked around our schedule and around our budget. Day of instal the crew along with Mathew discussed some changes. The changes made were a great idea. The turf was installed by a pleasant, professional and punctual crew. While the end result itself deserves 5+ stars, I wanted to be sure the company itself was given consideration for the total score. When Bradley first came to survey my property, it couldn't have been a better experience compared to other companies that have come to visit. With the proposed timeline (once approved by HOA) and the warranty included, it seemed like a no-brainer. When it got closer to the install, communication seemed to lapse a bit and I found myself making calls to the office to get details. Jessica, totally nice on the phone, but was out of touch with her crews when it came to the logistics of the operation. Anyhew, I rode along with it due to the excitement of turf being installed for my pups. The day prior to i install, I was greeted with a pile of chat blocking half the street. I wasn't told it would be dropped like this. It's great to have understanding neighbors. It took about 3 days after that to complete the install, after being initially proposed one-day job. I don't fault them for taking longer but the intermittent issues within such as a lack of materials and broken down vehicles got a bit frustrating after day 2. The crew's foreman, Miles, was very upfront about those hiccups and I appreciate that. At the end of it all, while the end product is absolutely gorgeous and turned out better than expected, I can't be sure I'm satisfied with the whole experience for the amount of money paid to this one company. Hopefully they find ways to improve upon those issues mentioned above. Love the yard though. read more

Big Bully Turf was amazing! We had Rich help us all the way through and he was so helpful and caring of our vision. We have lived in our house for 6 years and we have wanted to make our backyard more user friendly for our two kiddos and our pup (5 year old lab). We needed something simple and easy to play on and enjoy. Big Bully did the job so quickly (1 day) and Isreal, site manager, and his team that constructed the job, were so nice and friendly. Be careful, as they do not explain things well as far as getting your rebate process and you will get screwed from getting your rebate. When you call the office to ask questions about it they do not return your call. As far as the turf and installation I am happy with that. But losing a $2900 dollar rebate I am angry! Just an update. I got a confirmation text confirming the time and asking me to set aside 45 minutes for the consultation. They didn't show. From the start these guys knocked it out of the park and I cannot recommend enough. I replaced my yard with turf, pavers, and concrete. I shopped around and got 4 estimates and nobody was even close on quality and price. Jefferson was easy to work with as he listened to my wife's design ideas. We trusted him on a few changes on design. We were also kept in the loop on progress. Our project took three days and every day the job was left super clean. This was important to us since we have a little girl and 2 dogs. Our daughter is super excited to be able to play on the ground and no more scraped knees from the Rocks we have. I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in this company, and have tried numerous times to reach the owner Carla Arzubiaga Groom but no one will help!
