BUYER BEWARE We hired this company to replace our existing turf after our dogs damaged the old installation. During the sales visit, Michael inspected the area, acknowledged our prior issues, and told us he had never seen turf fail the way we described. He assured us that if anything similar happened, it would be taken care of. Based on that reassurance, we signed a contract and paid a 50% deposit. Communication problems started immediately. No one called to schedule installation. When I contacted the office, the person I reached seemed unaware of our project. We were later told the company uses remote workers who have limited information. On installation day, we were told materials would arrive at 5:30 a.m. so they wouldn't interfere with other construction crews. No one showed up. The install crew arrived before the materials, hours late, with no communication. Within 36 hours of installation, a golf-ball-sized bald spot appeared. When lightly tugged, the turf fibers pulled out easily, and seams were clearly visible -- something that should not happen with properly installed turf. Despite: The sales rep sees prior issues, assurances that problems would be handled, a failure occurring almost immediately after install, and the Warranty Department denied coverage, claiming this was not "normal damage coverage." After repeated escalation, a repair was done, The Project Manager confirmed the turf fibers were coming out abnormally, and we were told that replacement would happen after talking to the manufacturer. Then the story changed again. We were told the manufacturer found no issue and that turf fibers pulling out was "normal." At that point, we requested full removal and a refund. A product that fails within 36 hours -- and that the company refuses to stand behind -- is not acceptable. After requesting a refund, we were ghosted. Calls and messages went unanswered until we contacted every number we could find. Only then did someone respond, suggesting we "wait a few weeks" -- knowing full well turf does not grow back. End Result: The turf was finally replaced. CREW was exceptional, but we still to this day have not received a call from Michael, Randy, or even Chelsea. Summary: Missed schedules and poor communication Conflicting information from multiple employees Turf failure within 36 hours Warranty refusal despite prior assurances Ghosting once payment was complete If you're considering this company, proceed with extreme caution. He said, this yard needs color! It's too brown! And he was right. Overall: the execution and coordination of my job has been messy and resulted in a remodel that frankly looks a little sloppy. Strongly recommend you make your contract with this company very explicit. background: I contacted Big Bully Turf in October November of last year. This is a belated review. The sales guy I worked with. Promised to fix some of the issues with my . One of which was old concrete and a slanted slope. The plan was to make it flat. However, when the was being done, they ended up putting pavers on top of the concrete, which actually increased the slope/slant of my patio. It now has a near 15% Angle to it and is nowhere near flat. Additionally, the pavers were put on top of old concrete and they didn't remove concrete as was promised so the surface is not smooth, it looks like I did the job myself. So I brought this up to the sales person and said that I wanted them to fix the work and add additional Astroturf. He quoted me $800 for the work. and they sent the original crew out there to do some of the rework. Which wasn't done very well. Also about three weeks went by (Holiday break) but nobody responded to my texts so I reached out multiple times and finally got in touch with the project coordinator who told me the sales person had been recently fired. I then had negotiate with the warranty department to redo the work and they refused multiple times and I then asked for a new sales person. He visited, agreed the work was sloppy, and accepted the quote I had gotten earlier from the first salesmen. I had the screenshot showing $800 but then the warranty depreciated said they would not honor the price. So, I was bounced around to a few different folks within the company. The new sales guy said a new crew would come out and re- do the work then disappear and I would never see him again. They had the original crew come out to redo the and their crew complained to me that they were not making enough money from the job. This is pretty inappropriate so I told the company about this, and also the patio Turf was just not flatten or smooth, so then big bully and I agreed to extend the Astroturf like I wanted they sent out a second crew, and I was told the first crew had been fired from the company as well! The second crew did a good job of fixing mistakes, but there's still gaps in pavers, it's not a smooth paver surface, and there's again that 15% decline in my Patio. They did what they could, but I think they admitted the work wasn't done properly in the first place and redoing it would be extensive and costly. Which is why I don't think the company approved to doing that rework and fought me on it. I don't think this is one person fault within them the company, but it definitely seems like a systemic breakdown. And I'm also disappointed that professionals could execute to a job that was sloppy and frankly half assed from the first start; this is a classic issue of not doing things right the first time. by the way, the company did execute the additional but cost of $1.3 thousand so $500 more than my original quote. To be honest, the does look better. And so I think it was a good move, but it wasn't smooth, painless what I was originally hoping for. I recommend you make your contract, extremely detailed with this company to not allow them any wiggle room execution. read more

Completely regret our decision going with Big Bully. We received 3 turf estimates & ultimately decided to go with them even though they were the most expensive. Mainly for thickness & warranty of turf. Our sales person gave us a quote for what we understood to be the entire yard yet they only completed half for the price we were given. WE were clear in what we wanted and stated after our pool install we didn't want to fix the irrigation in the back or mow, we wanted turf throughout & stone on the back wall. The cost went down after adding more concrete to our deck= less turf during a second visit we had, but it seemed like at this point he just deleted half our yard to lower the cost. We never received a layout, or even a contract. When it was install day they only completed half of the yard. Once we tried to partner with the sales person, no response then he denied it, never took ownership, & said we needed to pay more to finish the job. He argued with me through text that he did what my other half wanted & never would answer the phone. I called Big Bully 3 days in a row & all they do is take a message to "pass along." Never a call back. I finally managed to get the number of the sales mgr that was also onsite for our quote. No accountability only let me see what kind of deal we can get you for the other side of the yard. We have this on video. All of the conversations of us discussing what we wanted & both sales ppl measuring the entire yard. What about the mess up of the original sales person??And does no one else exist in this company to take care of customer concerns with the sales team?? We move forward & fix sod in front yard since the Bully team said they could work around this when they come back out to complete the other half, however when the second half of the yard is completed our sod is ruined. They also chipped a 2x4 in our gate. They also never made anything right & wouldn't move forward without more money. The lack of communication within the whole company is horrible. If they don't know the answer they won't respond. They won't take your calls & will take days to come to a conclusion for you. There is apparently no one over the sales team. They basically swindled us in to a deal & I will forever regret not going with a different company. Our sales person Thomas was brand new and had his boss Brandon with him during the quote. This was clearly a mess up from Thomas & someone should've taken ownership of the mistake. They are clearly trained as to what to say & not say to not take accountability & ownership of mistakes as to just raise the bill for the customer. We received a quote for our entire backyard, and only half was complete. That is on Big Bully, & Thomas for quoting us too low. Own your mistake.
