I got tenders, they were pretty good. Treys special sauce is amazing, one of the best sauces I've ever had. The server was also nice.

Another lunch break find.. found Big Chic on Yelp and even though our job site was in the same plaza, after reading the reviews it was a strong no for me. However, after my stomach started growling and I walked past their menu. (Blast from the past price was ) I obliged. The first time I ordered the gizzard snack. It came with a roll and fries. The fries were stock. Pretty good. They use a different supplier for their ketchup and it was pretty good too. Roll was standard. But the gizzards... the gizzards.. best I've had in a while. Definitely the best in the surrounding area. I doubled back soon for an order of wings. Their wings were pretty good as well. Not as small as the pics, full of flavor, and for an old school price. I had the lemon pepper, and I was more than satisfied. They have the standard wing restaurant juices + tea, and I thoroughly happy to indulge. (3 refills everytime) I had lemonade and peach lemonade. The chicken needs some seasonings badly and the meat itself was dry-as- dust. The breast, which only takes 10 mins to cook was soooo dry, there was nothing I could pour on it to tenderize it. DEAD! Not a lick of flavor. (Please add something seasonings! Anything!!) The dark meat was dry. I got the chicken home and drowned it in Season Salt. This isn't the first not second time not third time I have visited. The problem is that it is the only chicken restaurant in the vicinity so it's the only place to go to other than Publix. However, I have learned my lesson. I will give any business a chance but these $20+ meals are not improving. So, I guess Publix wins! Darn shame. Not even the skin had flavor. smh... Time to quit. This place must be under new ownership. I have been twice in the last two months and the food is hot and fresh with a smile. This is good old fashioned no frills burgers, fried chicken and an assortment of other good southern food. The whole wings are huge and I really enjoy the steak sandwich. It's a nostalgic item for me. It's very clean and I'm glad they seem to have gotten the right people to run this place. read more

Been going here for years!!! Went today got 30 wings and 2 fries for 42 bucks. Originally 32 bucks was told over the phone 40 bucks. Still gave it a chance and that was a mistake. First the first all 30 wings in one go box and the fries under cooked. The smallest french fry in the box was bigger than most of my wings. No lie i took a pic and wish i could post it. What a disappointment. Having frequented several Big Chic's, this is by far the worst. The to-go order I placed was wrong which I didn't realize till I was down the road. How do you screw up " 2 piece white w:fries"? The chicken itself was dry and the fries were over salted. The inside of the restaurant was unkept as was the restroom. French Fries cold, dinner roll stale, chicken salty and greasy. Do not bother. Church's is much better. If the fries had been hot and the dinner roll fresh, it would have been okay. First time we visited. read more

My business partners and I have patronize Big Choc for over 8 years. Yesterday, was by far the worst experience that I have ever received from the staff. I ordered a grilled cheese and a small okra. I was the only one in the store. It took me almost 40 minutes to receive my order. I was the ONLY customer in the store at the time. The staff was talking and playing on front line. When I received my order, my grill cheese was cold and my okra wasn't cooked as requested (fried hard). I have over 15 years of restaurant management and this was absolutely awful. I called to tell take the the manger and the phone was off the hook for literally an hour. They have lost our business and I'm sure others will following unless so changes happen soon. read more

The food is great, always fresh. However, the service sucks and is incredibly slow. I understand when there's a lot of order considering I've been in food service myself, however it is your responsibility as a front counter worker to check on your customer's orders. Being told there's a 15 minute wait for chicken is acceptable because I understand it was slammed and can only be cooked so fast. However, waiting 30 minutes for chicken and then the sides were wrong is ridiculous. Not to mention after waiting 30 minutes for chicken, they forgot about our wings and hadn't even started cooking them yet. Absolutely terrible customer service telling the customer that they're wrong, to be patient. I will not be back, I'll take my business elsewhere that's closer to home. read more

What has happened to Big Chic??? Have not been in a while and will never go back. Drove 20 miles to watch a crazy lady in the kitchen run some of the staff off. They bagged part of my order while they argued about someone entering the order wrong and then cooking the rest while everything else got cold. What a cluster!!!! This place used to be a place I loved to eat but I jus got home from hospital an was starting to feel better an wanted some good Cajun chicken an I ordered it an sent my nephew up there to get it an when it comes back it's jus normal chicken.I call up there the rude lady says something to the cook about its that Cajun chicken guy says it's not Cajun an she tells me she knows what's Cajun an that was it.but the Cajun chicken is spicy an has a red tint to hit so I hear them talking about that way u made it was wrong an this an that then she gets back on the phone an says its Cajun whatca want me to do.So they hang up on me leaving me with no help an wonderingly if this is how they treat there customers an expect us to keep coming back to rude people who don't care about what there cooking an who there dealing with.Ive had a bad week almost dying about ten days ago an I don't like people treating others this way an if it happen to me then it's happening to others.So check your food before u pay for it cause after they get your money they don't care about you at all. read more

Before the new owners took over it was a pretty decent place to eat. The cook was a little eccentric and I had the occasional server with a bad attitude, basically it had its good days with its bad. BUT ever since the new owners took over in June I've dreaded having to go there to get my chicken. The wings are too small for the price they want us tonpay and they are severely overpriced. Depending on who is cooking that day tells you whether you're going to get food poisoning or not once you finishing eating the exceedingly average food. They pay their cashiers in cash every week so they can take as much out of their paychecks as they wish. I've literally seen someone that worked there walk out at the end of the week with maybe $20 as a paycheck after working for several hours for several days.They are quick to fire people because they either don't like them or because of something that they can't prove. Honestly, the food sucks, the service is crap, and the owners are terrible people. I and my family will not be buying from Big Chic again and I WILL BE DISCOURAGING everybody that asks about them from going there. read more

We had not ordered from Big Chic for a long while due to not being satisfied with the wings being cooked to order in the past. (Shame on me for not learning my lesson.) We decided to give them another try and were disappointed again. When I called the restaurant to calmly express my disappointment, I was told I didn't order them the way I most definitely did order them - not exactly the best way to lure me back as a customer. While disappointed with the food (fatty, undercooked wings) I was more disappointed in being "told" that this was my fault, rather than the management taking ownership for the failure. I will NOT be giving them my hard earned money ever again. Suggest management go back to Business 101 class... read more
