I have mixed feelings about this food. The chips are really nice when you can get one that's not overly salty. The chicken bits I found very dry, either been left under the heater for two long or over cooked but the chicken pox burger was fine but not as much flavour as I would hope. My other half thinks it's ok, saying it has its own taste and sets it apart from other places.... I guess everyone is different. Stopped by Big Chicken for the third time since they opened. This time was for lunch. Ordered a chicken sandwich, jalapeño slaw, and the Ceasar salad. Food came out fast, hot, and fresh. The slaw was not my favorite but that may be a personal thing. All of the sandwiches here are good and the dirty fries are killer. Would recommend those for sure. The milkshakes are also very good. The employees here are nice and friendly. The restaurant is also very nice with a full bar and slot machines at the bar. They also added a foosball table and arcade cabinet since opening. I went into Big chicken in Carson City on William Street today at about 11, there was someone at the counter ordering, so I went use the bathroom. I came out and stood at the counter for five minutes and listen to two people in the back have a BS session. I finally left because I didn't know how long it was going to be before I could order. Pretty disappointed. I got the popcorn chicken and it looked crispy but it was extremely rubbery. The kids meal was the same way. My girls kept saying they liked the chicken but they wouldn't eat. Everyone loved the fries. My husband got the Shaq Attack and it was good flavor wise chicken was a little under done but overall good. my husband was put off right away though because they discontinued the seeet potato waffle fries. I went there three times shortly after it first opened, and it was a completely enjoyable experience all three times. The food, service, and cleanliness of the restaurant were all excellent. Went back for the fourth time today, and can't find much good to say. It's obvious the corporate people sent out to open the store have now moved on. The gal who took our order acted like it was a major inconvenience just to speak to us. Our grilled chicken cheese sandwiches were burnt--and I mean charred! And it wasn't just ours. Everyone around us at other tables had burnt sandwiches as well. There was a water spill near the front door that no one was cleaning up, and there was an ice spill in front of the soda machine, and employees were walking right through it and didn't clean it up. The worst part was that there was a guy vaping at the table inches away from us. I asked him to stop, and he didn't. I went up to the counter to ask someone to handle the situation, and they did absolutely nothing. Just ignored the situation. It will be a while before we try this place again. We decided to try this place, even with the mixed reviews. The reason this review got a 'Good' 4* instead of an 'Ok' 3* review because of 2 things: 1. The chicken tenders were obviously fresh and nuclear hot (warmth, not spicy) and stayed that way pretty much until I finished them. 2. When I returned the fries for being only lukewarm they replaced them without fuss and in a matter of moments. Now, I know you're asking yourself "why waffle on the 3 vs. 4 stars then..." well, let me tell you... Yes, they replaced them, but the fries came out of the kitchen pretty much cold. I understand why they don't stay hot in the kitchen - they are flat, think of a very thin julienne potato in a fry shape... So, they don't have any way to retain heat. They are kinda expensive for what they are. And, the poor folks across from us just got their food as we were leaving and they had ordered the same time as us. I know this place is usually packed. What a meal! Popcorn chicken was so crispy too: loved it with the Big Chicken sauce. Fries are like thin steak fries. Waffle sweet potato fries were a little soggy: has potential but could be better. Had a bite of the Shaq attack too: the pepper jack adds a nice tang! Would compare this spot to Shake Shack in terms of vibe/prices but obviously with different offerings. This is a branch of Shaq's Restaurants. This location has limited parking and is kind of small. They specialize in chicken tenders, sandwiches, and salads. We ordered the tenders, macaroni and cheese, and dirty fries since the tenders come by themselves. They give you one cup of sauce which is not enough. The chicken itself is cooked well. Good-sized pieces, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Fries are fair, and the macaroni and cheese is decent, but a small portion. What we ate was decent, but the prices are extremely high, and having to order everything separate is a pain. read more

I was also put off by the employee who was bringing food up as her hair was kinda messy and falling in her face and she was pushing it out of her face with gloves on. Came in for lunch around 11am. Ordered two combos with fries. The first combo was decent however the fries were cold. Second combo was a huge greasy mess. I had to pick at it to eat it. Fries on the second combo were cold as well. Service was friendly. The front counter was in the middle of training but they did inform us of that so we expected a little bit of a wait which was fine. As far as the restaurant goes it feels like a cafeteria. It's bland feeling and cold. The reason for the two stars was the impact driver being used over at the bar that interrupted the meal and conversation my wife and I were having. If you are going to do work like that do it after hours and not disturb your patrons. I won't be going back for another try because the food was mediocre at best and overpriced. More importantly, the food was excellent. The Crispy Chicken Grilled Cheese sandwiches were excellent as were the fries. The Double Chocolate Shake made me wish it was larger.
