Very interesting and overly combative response from the owner of this establishment. (Their response and my original review are below.) Their response suggests that we only waited 35 minutes to get our food and that they make everything from scratch. There must be some underestimation somewhere in your timeline as the food we were served had to have been sitting for at least 10-15 minutes to get as cold as it was when it was served to us. As for us not giving you a chance to make things right, come on. My husband asked to be cashed out for the lemonade he had and that we couldn't eat food served this cold. Your waitress simply told us it was taken care of, to have a nice day, and turned and walked off. When my husband asked again at the front of the restaurant to be cashed out, the young lady at the front told us that if we were going to walk out there's nothing she could do. At no point were we offered to speak with management or to have our food remade. Later on when my husband called we were again given lip service with no attempt to make things right. I get trying to protect your business, but when your customer service is subpar you need to own that. At no point has this establishment offered to make this right. Very disappointed. Now, let us say, that's never our standard, it's just not what normally happens. Having a 1200 dollar hour at 2pm is not typical. Thats a big hour for a small place. Our typical food ticket time at that hour is an 8 minute average. We're fast. But sometimes a perfect storm hits and we do the best we can with the hand dealt. We make everything from scratch and make sure to put love in our dishes. Had you not gotten up, and dropped your tray in our food service window and left after being in the restaurant a total of 35 minutes, we would have most certainly made things up to you. We pride ourselves on service. Man, we got buried, we admit it. However, we unbury well. We are definitely not perfect, and we make mistakes, but we're know for what we do after. Unfortunately you did not give us that opportunity. We understand when you're hungry and traveling, you need food in a timely manner. So 35 minutes may seem like an eternity, we feel you. If only there were 6 stars!! Ate there on Friday night and it was awesome. We started with 3 appetizers because we couldn't make up our minds. Deviled egg potato salad and baked biscuit were good. The Mac and cheese. Outstanding!! I had brisket grilled cheese and it was good. Today and cheesy. Jess had baked potato loaded with their smoked turkey. And Jess is not a fan of turkey. She freaking loved it. I did too lol. Ended with triple chocolate whoopie pie that was more dense than the the soft cake I'm used to, but still good. Overall awesome and can't wait bring the kids. We went there after seeing a review on Instagram.We decided to sit at the bar and I'm so happy we did,The 2 young ladies that work there are so nice,friendly and very attentive,They greeted everyone with a smile and a hello and when you leave they thank you for coming in. Sorry for the lack of photos, but this place is AMAZING! The food was fantastic, house made bbq sauce is out of this world! I got a brisket sandwich on the lunch special menu (suggested by my gracious server), a generous portion of perfectly seasoned, juicy brisket on Texas toast and the most unique fries I've ever experienced. The staff was more attentive than any restaurant I've ever been to as well. I can not say enough about the staff and service. It gives surfer/sportsbar vibes, but I just plain don't care about decor in a place with such good food and such IMPECCABLE service. This was probably the best BBQ I've had in a really long time. We stayed for 5 days and ate here 2x. Pork and Brisket was delicious. Crack Mac is a must try. Their Brussel Sprouts were top notch. The Potato Salad had it all. Beers were cold. Prices were on point. Service was friendly...since the food isn't pedestrian bs be prepared to wait a Southern minute but it's worth the wait. Sad that I am leaving and it might be a long time before I come through these parts but I am grateful for the experience and the culinary knowledge...Ill do my best to recreate the magic. I had the brisket/baked potato, brisket was good, tender, lacked flavor though. potato was huge but seemed to have been scooped out to make room for brisket, I wanted more of the potato. Came here during happy hour with the family while on vacation and decided to give this place a try. My son got the loaded pot roast fries which he devoured. My wife got the crack mac and cheese with potatoe salad. We got my daughter a couple of the pork and cheese sliders and let say this, my daughter doesn't eat much and she wanted 2 more because she loved them .I got 2 rum drinks for the $5 happy hour price and those hit the spot. We were looking for a place near the beach with easy parking and good food. The iced tea was recommended from other reviews. We tried the frito pie, smashed red potatoes, and mac and cheese. It was all good but I think I could eat some potatoes until I explode. They were so so good. There was both indoor and outdoor seating. The service was fast and friendly. Popped by this restaurant by chance while visiting Cocoa Beach. At first, we weren't quite sure how to order since you head to the bar for a drink before finding a seat, but once we sat down we were happy to find a menu full of 5 great themes. I opted for sample to try the sliders, Mac & cheese and red beans and rice, and each were amazing. It is also slightly confusing because there are multiple ways to order the same dish (either as a small bite, kids portion, or side) but the servers were helpful. The real bonus was we happened to show up on Bingo night. That was a blast. It's free to play and gift cards are given out for wins. I got the feel a lot of regulars were there because the crow had developed some cool traditions like $1 shots anytime O-69 is called (haha). Everyone was super down to earth and welcoming.
