It came with a cornbread, a buttery biscuit, and banana pudding. I was pleasantly surprised by the other items since the ordering site only listed the entree. Best Shrimp & Grits I've had to date. The shrimp was fresh and not overcooked or rubbery. The grits were smooth. The gravy was well seasoned, but not overly salty or rich. The cornbread and bread or biscuit was good, but not extraordinary. Those were quite dense and heavy paired with the other food. I loved the banana pudding. This meal jumpstarted my banana pudding hyper fixation. Very fragrant and not too thick yet still nice and creamy. It wasn't overly sweet or heavy either. It was a good dessert to round out the meal. I hope to come here again and have an actual sit down experience. Curious to see the ambiance!

The service was the best, the food even better…read more The ambiance transports you back in time and even the other customers were so warm and welcoming, We got to talking with the people at the table next to us and when they found out we were from L.A area they were even more welcoming asking us question about different things like how we were finding Georgia. We had a nice chat and then it food arrived, generous portions at very reasonable prices, at least from the perspective of coming from California. A few moments in the lady from the other table told us that we definitely needed to try fried Okra and generously gave us some of her order. I have never had anything like that happen in California so they were great representative of the warmth of the south. Loved everything about the experience, highly recommend!

Furthermore, I will never understand why they allow homeless people to sit at each door entry and back. One page from told them that they needed to remove them from the front doors because it was not a good look for their business and that big daddy would not be happy about it, nothing was done. On the positive side, the collard greens, broccoli rice casserole, cabbage, squash medley and baked chicken were good. Overall, this was not a great experience and I will think twice before coming back to this location. However, if you ever want to try it out, I strongly recommend ordering online and setting your pick up time for 15 minutes earlier than when you plan to arrive. That way, your order will be ready or close to ready when you arrive.
