Turkey Wings . Rice. Yams, Cabbage.Corn muffin.

So when you are in your big back moments. Don't be afraid to pull up to Big Daddy's on Cascade. In the strip plaza with Wells Fargo. Weekends are usually busy especially after church. Plenty of parking. But the space inside to order and wait can get a little crowded. They usually have a Tv going or music playing.. so that will keep you entertained while you wait for your food. Or as you listen to other people order and contemplate your choices . Lol. The food is always good. I usually get the beef tips with rice . And you get 2 more sides. They have daily specials. This visit I opted for the turkey wings .. ooh so good.. tender, falling off th bone . seasoned to perfection goodness. I got yams and cabbage. Corn muffin. Please know what you want.. the older lady can be impatient at times. ( They take call in orders also) Other than that.. good food. I'm always happy to be my big back fix at Big Daddy's.

Always good! Called in my order and didn't have much of a wait time when I arrived. Not too busy. Food 10/10!

Pretty good soul food I got the turkey wings and dressing, which was more than enough. They give you a lot of food and they have a lot of choices. Tons of soul, food, options, vegetables, meat and even desserts.

This food is not great. The macaroni and cheese taste like it's kraft deluxe(without pepper or seasonings). The dressing is sweet so if you like sweet dressing you might like it. The best thing I had was my corn bread muffin the meal came with. Maybe I got the wrong entree but the sides I got was not food either. Macaroni and cheese is a soul food staple.

Such a nice experience. Upon walking in we were greeted by the cashier. You order your food up front before heading to the back and being seated (for dine-in). The food can be seen through the kitchen area window which helps when reading the menu and deciding what you want. The prices are moderate and go perfect with the portion sizes. Beware that they do run out of hot ticketed sides so it's possible what you desire may be out of stock. The food was good. Everything was done well and seasoned nicely. No over or under flavoring. The yams are very natural flavored so if you are looking for more of the candied effect, these aren't for you. The Macaroni and Cheese is very good. The corn muffin is absolutely amazing. And, if you are a dressing lover like me, make sure to get the gravy on it. It really makes the flavor pop. I will definitely be going here again. P. S. The Lemonade is AWESOME!!!!

I ordered the curried goat over rice with rutabagas and Mac and cheese. My cousin had oxtails, candied yams, and Mac and cheese. The curry goat was not spicy AT ALL! This is the first time I have ordered curry goat and it not be spicy. The food was delish and you get a lot for the price. I also like that rice is included and is not considered a side. Masks are required in the restaurant.

I normally don't do reviews but I had to. I called a hr before closing and someone picked up the phone, took some time to say hello, put me on hold before I could respond, put someone else on the phone who instantly started talking to me without greeting me. After redirecting the convo I was advised they weren't taking anymore phone orders. My sister went to pick up the food and told me it was a bit chaotic inside as the staff seemed overwhelmed n were fussing at each other. The food was not good at all. I got turkey legs, mac n cheese n greens. Mac n cheese was runny with an overcooked top layer. The greens, turkey leg n rice was bland. Turkey leg meat was a bit tough although it fell off the bones. To top it off we got a fresh hot burnt corn bread muffin! First and last time eating from this place!

Some restaurants deliver on great apps only to disappoint with the entrees. Not here. The fried chicken was wonderfully prepared. The grits were also excellent - some of the best I've had. And actually the trout dish was a delight, with an amazingly crispy skin. The food was so darn good, we ordered desserts even though we were all full to the gills. But darn, that warm butter cake was mouth watering. And the family also loved the banana pudding. And service was outstanding as well. I did get chided for trying to help with clearing the dishes - which was a first for me. No complaints here. I hope to come back for another amazing meal when I'm back in town. I love fried chicken (who doesn't?) but typically find other breading to be bland and oily and I usually pull it off to get to the juicy meat...but not at Delilah's. It was the perfect combination of crunchy and flavorful and I was sure to gobble up any small bit that fell on my plate. The collard greens are also incredible. Not too salty not too saturated. Just perfect. I think I'm going to order a take home portion for holiday dinners at home because I can't make them better than this! The service and personal experience was off the charts and exactly what southern hospitality is all about. My husband and I chatted with Jason, the owner, during our entire meal and learned so many cool things about their family and Delilah's story. I will be going back again and again and again. Definitely plan to take out of towners that are eager to find good authentic soul food.

I decided to have a tapas-style dinner with food from The Works and just had to grab some chicken from Delilah's. The menu is plentiful without being overwhelming, except when it comes to picking a favorite between the flavorful options. I knew that I didn't want or need a full meal and opted for their 3 whole wing option that came paired with cornbread. The young man who took my order was so polite and patient, as there were a few folks in line and waiting for previously placed orders. He let me know that my order would be ready in about 15 minutes so I took the time to continue my food-finding journey around the market. When I returned later, I had lost track of time and figured I'd just poke my head around their stall to see if my chicken was ready. It wasn't at that moment but I took some time to observe the process. There was only one guy in the open kitchen and prep area creating all of the meals and he was on the move. If I could add smells to my review, this one would smell like fried chicken and cornbread. It was all so fresh! When my order was ready, I only made one other stop before heading to my car to go home to my family... but not before I tested those whole wings from Delilah's. When I say that they were fresh out of the grease? Babehhh. It's like he just threw them right into the basket only seconds before. It was sooo crunchy, so juicy, just a fantastic wing. The hot sauce was a nice pairing but some spice in the breading/meat would have taken it over the top but this chicken was delicious. No notes.

Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q…read more Fox Bros. has that hole-in-the-wall BBQ joint feel, but with plenty of space to hang out. There's a bar along with both indoor and outdoor seating, and the overall atmosphere is casual and laid-back. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and gave us some great recommendations, which definitely added to the experience. We went with the three-meat sampler and chose the brisket, ribs, and jalapeño cheddar sausage, with tots and the Fox-a-Roni for our sides. The Fox-a-Roni--a combination of their Brunswick stew and mac & cheese--was absolutely delicious and easily one of the most memorable sides I've had at a BBQ restaurant. The brisket was honestly some of the best brisket I've ever had. It was tender, flavorful, and easily my favorite of the three meats. The jalapeño cheddar sausage was also really good, and while the ribs tasted great, ours were pretty small and didn't have a ton of meat on them. My only real complaint was the portioning of the sampler. We were told that as you choose a larger variety of meats, you essentially receive smaller portions of each. I understand the idea of a sampler, but we literally received one slice of brisket and two-three fairly small ribs, so the portion-to-variety concept didn't make a ton of sense to me. I would've preferred slightly more substantial portions, especially considering how good the brisket was! I also ordered a cocktail, but unfortunately it wasn't really for me. It came across very sweet and mostly juice, although I think that may have been more about the particular drink I chose than the bar itself. Overall, the food absolutely delivered. Between the incredible brisket, Fox-a-Roni, friendly service, and laid-back BBQ atmosphere, Fox Bros. was definitely worth the stop. I'd happily come back--I'd just skip the 3 meat sampler next time and order more of that brisket!

The mac and cheese wasn't really as creamy as I like but it was still really good. I wanted to take my out of town guest somewhere they could only experience in Atlanta. And, I wanted them to go back to Chicago and say what a great dining experience they had. In terms of the food, and drinks, location, they were well pleased and said I picked a winner. Now when the sun went down the music got crunk and the younger crowd started to pour in. It was a bit loud for the 45 up foks, but at least it was good R&B so we adapted.

So we were warmly greeted and then taken to a quiet table in the corner that had the whitest tablecloths. It looked rather chic Then we had the best server. She checked on us numerous times, didn't rush us and offered suggestions. She kept our table clear of mayhem from empty plates and glasses. Now the food was delicious. It was so good. The chicken was moist and the outside was crispy. The mashed potatoes melted in my mouth. Plus, we had a slice of 7up cake for dessert. I high recommend this place. They have valet parking that is only $2. Great place to visit. Until next time.

I'll keep it simple the food was good, don't get me wrong. But for the price, it just didn't match up. This is one of those places that works if you're trying to impress clients or enjoy the atmosphere. Strip away the location, and the food-to-price ratio probably lands much lower. Just my take.
