This wasn't the 1st time I used Big E's services, so I generally knew what to expect: 1. Friendly service and kindness during the assessment. Car crashes of course aren't fun and can be traumatizing, and they understood the ordeal that we were still going through post-incident. 2. An accurate, professional estimate of the cost of repairs, with a printed and electronic copy (an itemized copy of the final costs were also provided at the end). 3. During the repairs, regular and timely communication through both phone calls and emails (email response times were especially impressive). They handle all communications with your insurance company during repairs, so no need to worry on that front. 4. A seamless pickup with a professional cleaning of not only the exterior of the car, but the interior also, including my WeatherTech car mats! Needless to say, I recommend Big E for all your repair needs. BIG E is the only place I'd consider going when I have a need for a car repair/rebuild. Unfortunately, I've had a need a few times. My first experience was at the recommendation of my insurance company. The others was because I wouldn't trust my car with anyone else! Their customer service is top notch, from the front office, estimator to the service team. Everyone was very friendly, professional and clearly very experienced. The workmanship is stellar and my car always looks like new when I pick it up. Big E delivers on time and within budget! When they provide a date and how long it will take to finish, they mean it. Big E handled the insurance and worked with me when it wasn't covered by insurance. Lucky for me, they also have an in with the car rental which came to pick me up. Big E Auto in Burien is the VERY VERY BEST!!!!!!! I have had car repairs done in the past, and have never thought of writing a review, but this place is a totally different ballgame. When the rental car company didn't bring me a car to their location in a timely fashion, they drove me to them. They finished the repair in less time than they promised, the repair work was PERFECT and everyone there was so incredibly friendly and professional. They treated all of their customers with such respect and caring -- going over every single detail and giving the best customer service I think I've ever seen. This place is great! Super helpful and very professional. My Volvo 240 was hit by another driver which took out my driver's side lights and dislodged my bumper. I originally took it to another shop in June and got the run around for 3 months.. trouble finding the parts, etc etc. (I had to call them every other week, they never once bothered to call me) I finally gave up and went down the street to Big E, which I should've just done in the first place. Within a week of my visit to get an inspection/estimate, they had my car fixed! I dropped it off on a Wednesday morning and had it back within 24 hours. The best place you never want to have to visit! I had to take our company vehicle here and they were so great it was a no-brainer to take my own vehicle to Big E after it suffered some road damage. They are extremely organized and make the process so easy you're almost wondering if you've missed something. Pricing is competitive to other shops in the area. One of the features I love is the large security fence around the building and lot - I felt very secure leaving my baby there. The best part was when I went to pick up the car and found they had washed it and vacuumed out the interior. I sincerely hope I never have to go back there, but I know if I had any more damage to the car this is the first place I would go. read more

Just moved to Seattle from the east coast 3 months ago, and already had an accident. The other driver was held liable, so their insurance company wanted me to go to another collision shop. I asked the local dealership who they recommend, and they told me Big E. Big E went above and beyond with my car, giving me an estimate completely different from the original assessment. They even worked with me on contacting the insurance company, who lied about sending the check to them. When I received my car, it was as good as new, detailed on the inside and outside. I am very pleased with the work Big E Auto Rebuild has done on my vehicle. My car had a broken tail light, and several scrapings on the right-side rear bumper. The staff at Big E replaced the rear-right tail light, and the bumper looks like it had never been damaged. My car had a prominent door ding on the left passenger door that Big E removed without having to paint the door. Big E completed all the work we agreed upon with precision and excellence. I have always had great service and great repairs by Big E. My only complaint is the tow truck driver could not find where to do a night drop. I was out of town and I tried to find any info online, called the shop, can't find anything. Wife has had a very stressful day (teen son had accident while she was in the car) and then had to drive down to Burien at 9pm to keep the tow truck driver from taking our car somewhere else. Big E was actually recommended to me by a repair shop in Magnolia! I got 3 quotes for repairs on my 2011 Ford Fiesta after a hit and run, and they took the time to give me two estimates - one for out-of-pocket, one for an insurance claim. Both were lower than the other two places I'd checked. The team not only did a great job getting my little car back in top shape on time, the final cost also came in below both estimates (!) The old Subaru was trashed from our teen drivers but still had plenty of life left. After the bumper was knocked loose and the windshield cracked, it was time to make it street legal. We asked Bill for an economical repair, not perfect but drivable. He was able to even out all the dents and replace the windshield so that I am no longer embarrassed to drive the car.
