We always have enjoyed dining in never been disappointed. The one day I got off work this last Saturday coming from the galleria area in houston passed bighorn of 288 in Pearland. I had an order for three, 2 bake potatoes w/turkey, chopped beef sandwich combo, side of onion rings. Bake potatoes was super dry, no butter and no side of BBQ sauce, chopped beef sandwich was dry as well no side of BBQ sauce. I did request BBQ sauce when I handed over my cc to pay. I requested utensils didn't get any. Didn't have ketchup for the onion rings I didn't request ketchup just assumed it would be given along with onion rings my family and I shared. BTW onion rings was the only tasty thing. So disappointed spending $45 my family didn't enjoy. I did call and spoke to a manager in charge named Ashley, she wasn't very helpful. She offered to replace the bake potatoes well what about the dry chopped beef sandwich. First of all it's out of my way 10 mins I don't want to go back again after this meal being one of the worse I've had in a while. I asked to speak to another manager she suggested I call and speak to Jose or maybe he'll call me I'm still waiting it's been 2 days. I'll just write this review instead just suggest check your food before leaving the drive thru. My wife and I wanted some BBQ so we decided to stop at Big Horn. It is very nice inside and the place smelled great!!! We got in line and then I saw the PRICES! What I wanted would cost a whopping 27 dollars and my wifes plate was 17 dollars, without drinks! Needless to say we left and went to the seafood place up HWY 6. Your customer service is absolutely horrible. Week before last I ordered a baked potato and barely had any meat in it and when I called to talk to the manager his only answer was we put 4 ounces and our baked potatoes and I'm telling you I did not have 4 ounces and it did not look anything like the picture that you advertise on your webpage. Last week when I called y'all were very busy I held on the line twice for five minutes and was disconnected both times. Twice I got the store who picked up because of the phone lines in the restaurant being so busy. All they could tell me was keep calling back to the restaurant number. When I finally got the restaurant to answer the girl told me they were too busy to take my order. So I went to another restaurant in town. Today I called sat on hold for five minutes and was disconnected I called back and it rang 15 times and I got the store who then told me that I needed to call back to the restaurant. I explain to him that I was calling the number for the restaurant and he said well you have to hang up and call them back. When I asked for a manager I sat on hold five minutes and then was disconnected. Again I took my business elsewhere. read more

We have been coming to Big Horn Since it open for gas and lunch until today when a employee took our newly purchased items off the table along with a brand new iphone and $100 bill in phone case. When we questioned all employees about the missing items that were taken while we were ordering our food they said they knew nothing about it. When I called the local police and they showed up the BIG HORN BAR B QEE in Manvel Texas they some how found it it in the back room and said they were going to return it to us. after speaking The Manager Tyler by phone he said it was all a misunderstanding and I was pissing him off over the whole experience and then i hung up on him after being talked to that way. We will never return or our family and friends. Manvel Police were amazing and very professional. Poor management at this location. We will go to Burger barn for lunch from here on out. My wife and I are long term loyal customers at Big Horn, between restaurant and store (Not Fuel) 3-4 hundred per month. I love their food and atmosphere. What I Do Not like is raising prices and also cutting back on portions served in some cases. Don't ask me to pay more for what I'm accustomed to getting and then give me less for the higher price. Then when I asked for the normal portion charge me extra for what used to be the normal. I understand the need to increase prices, but don't raise the price and shrink the servings. I always support local establishments and I hope I can continue to support Big Horn but will not if this continues. read more

Even during this crazy time of wearing masks, even inside restaurants, didn't seem to phase this place and their employees. Everyone was still polite and working hard to make our visit a pleasant one. The food was great. There is also a drive thru which was wrapped around the building the whole time we ate inside. We were all happy with the portion sizes and the taste of everything. Great family restaurant where even our picky eater was able to grab a cheeseburger he was happy with. Must stop if you're heading through Manvel. First off, the location and ordering line were spotless. The food looked appetizing, and it was hard to decide! We ordered a pound of turkey breast, a large container of charro beans, a small order of mashed potatoes and two slices of jalapeño bread to go. The potatoes... oh my! I am so glad I ordered the small container, because I would have kept eating them! The charro beans were flavorful and had a little pico de gallo cooked in. They were very, very good, but I would have kicked up the heat. The turkey was tender and moist. Just how you would want it. My husband called the beans and turkey "outstanding." Stopped in one day just try it out. I get gas here all the time and I always see the pictures in the window and man it looked good! Walked in and immediately the aroma of bbq greets you. I go to place my order and the man at the counter off the bat was rude. As I asked him about the tacos asking his opinion on them all he could tell me was "yup, good." I personally didn't feel like paying $11 for two tacos. So I got the sliced beef sandwich instead. Good thing I only spent $9 instead of $11 because it was not worth the money. Absolutely 0 flavor to the brisket, and super fatty. Plus, if I'm going to be buying a $9 sandwich (just the sandwich no sides) I expect there to be "the works" not just 4 slices of fatty, tasteless brisket and stale wonder bread hamburger buns. Beautiful location, great quality food . We were greeted immediately even though they were closing in a half hour. I ordered a burger and my wife ribs. The burger too over 20 minutes and my wife has already finished eating. The good thing though was the manager clearly knew beforehand because she brought us a desert with the food. This picture I posted was once true, not anymore little by little they have been changing their menu items and its disgusting. First the delicious jalapeño bread and now its plain nasty store bought white bread, the burgers used to have a delicious sweet bread now its regular store bought. And today was the last straw I went in for their delicious hand made onion rings and they gave me onion rings straight from the box tasted horrible and for the same price. Whats next pre cooked meat??
