A kbbq and sushi spot in pearland. Can get pretty packed. The floor was really slippery so.. be very careful. There's a decent sauce and small salad bar. The food comes out relatively quick. I don't think anything we got was bad or anything wrong but something just felt like it was missing compared to competitors and I cant put my finger on it. Overall it was not bad. Everyone cooked for you came out great.

My family and I had a nice dinner at Jeju Island to celebrate my dad's birthday. We made a reservation just in case, but they weren't too busy since we visited on a weeknight. We all opted for the BBQ and sushi option. There was a lot of variety and the service was very attentive. Really enjoyed the create-your-own sauce selection as well. Unfortunately the floors were a bit slippery but overall it didn't ruin our experience. I'm glad they have an AYCE KBBQ and Sushi place like this in Pearland. We'll be back.

My sister in law had her wedding here. Unusual but it worked. Because it's a buffet didn't want to get my expectations too high but it was really good . The Korean meats were really high quality. They had a banchan salad bar and it was all really tasty. The soups were delicious and authentic tasting. Am not much of a buffet guy but we'd definitely be back

Jeju Island has a little bit of everything you can choose AYCE sushi, K-BBQ, or even do both, which makes it a fun spot if your group can't decide. The selection of sauces is what is unique compared to other k bbq spots. They have a wide variety and you can make your own flavors. The atmosphere is what you'd expect from a K-BBQ place: k pop music tables set up for grilling right in front of you. You push a button when you need your grill changed out. As for the sushi, it was decent don't expect high quality sushi here. Service was welcoming. They introduced themselves and asked if we've been there before. Overall, it's a good option if you're craving K-BBQ or want AYCE sushi

Went here for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised. This place took over the space for the old Buffalo Wild Wings. Decor is awesome, it look futuristic, but not like they are trying to hard. We opted for the lunch special for sushi and BBQ for $27/person. We were promptly seated and greeted by our waitress who explained everything for us. She was extremely attentive and knowledgeable. We ordered: Apps: Edamame, imitation crab salad, pickled cucumbers, cream cheese wontons, gyoza (chicken), eggplant tempura, shrimp tempura Entrees: Veggie LoMein BBQ: mushrooms, onions, garlic, Spicy Beef Bulgogi, Chicken and pork belly Dessert: Fried Cheesecake You can order during lunch anything in white and you have a 2-2.5 hr limit. My best bite was the spicy beef BBQ & noodles. I wasn't a fan of the rolls and the tempura eggplant was too soft for my preference. We loved the experience and will definitely come back to try the dinner portions. Enter freely they've been approved

Jeju island was an all around amazing experience! The place itself is so cool I love all the plants and neons. I also really enjoyed the music a great vibe setter. Our server Alex was attentive, & explained the menu and pricing very well! Thank you Alex. The food was amazing I honestly think this was the best Korean bbq I've ever been to. The quality of meat and sushi was amazing! The pricing is very reasonable especially when compared to similar restaurants. Overall it's an easy 5 stars from me and I will be back!

We got a coupon in the mail for this place so we figured why not try it out. The inside is really clean and modern, and I loved the decor in the entryway. I honestly wish I had taken a picture because it was really cute. When you walk in you order up front depending on whether you want BBQ, sushi, or both. My husband and I went with the all you can eat BBQ because... obviously. They have a little "salad bar" area with sauces and a few sides, but the BBQ meal also comes with several side options that are included. We ordered a bunch of different meats. Some were marinated and some were just plain cuts of meat, all of which you cook yourself. We ended up putting their Jeju sauce on pretty much everything because it was so good. It's kind of like a tangy BBQ sauce but also not exactly BBQ. I can't really explain it, I just know we kept going back for more of it. We also tried a couple drinks. I had the white peach sangria and a lemon drop and both were really good. My husband had a Long Island and a blue margarita. The Long Island didn't taste like a traditional Long Island to us, but it was still good. The blue margarita was really good too, just not your typical margarita. The server was nice and attentive. They also have a little robot that delivers the sushi. Overall it was a really good experience and we will definitely be back.

I always enjoy an AYCE KBBQ experience. So when I saw Pearland was getting a KBBQ/Sushi AYCE spot, I had high hopes I wouldn't have to drive out to Bellaire to get my fix. Parking is a breeze. It's in a shopping center shared with other business so it should be easy to find a spot. The staff were really friendly and multiple servers would check on us, not just our server. We decided to do the sushi add on since it was our first time and we wanted to enjoy the whole experience. We ordered some sashimi and 2 rolls. The sushi was so-so. The sashimi pieces were thick and the rolls weren't huge, but still a good portion size. Next time, I'll probably just stick to the KBBQ. The KBBQ was great. The meat came out super fast and our grill was changed out regularly. The spicy meat options had a nice kick to it, which balanced out the sweetness of the bulgolgi and other marinated meats. Everything was fresh. They had a kimchi station and sauce bar too. The sauce bar was a little confusing, not gonna lie. The items to make your sauce was not aligned with a hotpot spot. That didn't keep me from mixing and matching different flavors to dip the meat in. The ban chan was good, but definitely not the star of the show. I liked the fish cakes and the kimchi was flavorful. All in all, I'm glad I can get KBBQ near me. I will be coming back!

When entered, you can see the ambiance of the restaurant and it has a serene and cozy vibe! I loved the entryway decor. Service was great and friendly! What blew me away today was the sauce bar. I loved the options they had provided! We ordered a lot of sushi and kbbq meat options. Meats were good and I was very pleased with the sushi. This place was almost 5 stars for me. The only thing that probably needs improvement on is the free side dishes provided. The pickled radish was so watered down and the fish cakes were bland. Their boba isn't so great either. Overall, I did enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food! This place was just almost perfect!

My first time here and there were good and bad things. Let's start off with parking. There's a very big parking lot as it's shared with other businesses. Walking in the host is near the front door to greet you. She informed us dinner was $32.99 all you can eat with a $6 add on for all you can eat sushi. Seating was pretty quick and our waitress explained the pricing again and went into detail with the menu as to what was available. She also explained the sushi add on had to be ordered by everyone at the table in order to have it. I'm assuming this is to prevent only one person paying the add on and everyone at the table eating sushi. We decided to include the sushi add on. Don't make this mistake. We ordered one round of sushi and most of it went back to the kitchen. The rice was mushy and the fish tasted old. Now the meat on the other was very good. We placed a large order for the first round and it came out pretty quick. But then again why wouldn't it, it's not being cooked. The meat appeared to be fresh, good quality and seasoned very well. The waitress did a great job checking on us and switching out our grill often to prevent the meat from burning. At one point I had to take a walk to help the meat get moving in me. Once we had more meat than any person could, our waitress asked us which desert would we like. This is also included in the regular dinner price. Options were fried cheesecake, fried Oreos or ice cream. I had the fried Oreos. I wish I had placed a second order of them to sneak out and eat later.

This is officially our go to for Korean BBQ. I really appreciate the way this establishment is set up. The meat portions here are a bit smaller than your typical Korean BBQ restaurant, however, it does reduce waste and taking more than you can actually eat. I can appreciate that especially when there is several selections of wagyu beef offered. Additionally, having the sides buffet style allows us to pick exactly we want and not waste. Service was great and we really enjoyed the music! Very family friendly.

Food Pretty worth it! We did the sushi and kbbq so ~ $38 for dinner. Salmon sashimi (only 20 piece per order) 3.5/5. It tasted kinda fishy but if you squeeze lemon on it it cuts some fishy smell. I also recommend dipping it in soysauce or spicy mayo. The salmon roll was really good! 4/5 stars it had savory fish flavor and eel sauce, highly recommend! Other rolls were decent as well Salmon handroll 3/5 Wish there were more salmon pieces but it contained fish, rice, cucmber and nori. Crawfish handroll 3/5 Flavor was ok. Could be more cajun/robust. Kbbq here surprised me in a good way. Their sliced meets were slightly dryer than what i was used to so 3.5/5 (angus sliced and beef belly) THEIR MARINATED MEATS ARE SOO GOOD. YOU MUST ORDER!!!!! Bulgogi 4/5 Jeju galbi 4/5 Any marintated meat just order it. The flavor was sweet soy flavor but NOT too overwhelming where we could eat sooo many slices. For example, galbi at other places are more chewy but over here they slice it perfectly to where its nicely cooked but not chewy! I would come back here on occasion!

Jeju Island is a great addition to Pearland! Who doesn't love a good AYCE Korean bbq and sushi spot? It definitely helps that the ambiance here is really nice and clean. Props to their strong vent hoods so you don't walk out smelling like meat. Quick rundown: $32/person for AYCE Korean bbq OR sushi, $38/person if you want AYCE of both. 2 hour time limit. Don't waste food unless you want to get charged more. Auto 18% gratuity to parties of 6 or more people. Service was top notch here. I forget our waitresses name, but she did a great job of making sure we didn't need anything. She anticipated our drink refills, napkins, grill changes, and when we wanted to order more. Food wise, we went with the Korean bbq only option. This place is unique that they offer a make your own sauce bar. I've generally only seen this done at hot pot places so this was a nice addition here. Our favorite cuts of meat were their Jeju short rib, beef tongue, and prime Angus beef belly. While these were pretty good, my biggest complaint here is that their meat quality isn't as good as some of the other Korean bbq places in Houston. For the price, I expected a little bit better quality even though it is AYCE. I will say the cheesecake and ice cream for dessert were a nice touch though also. Next time, I probably will try the AYCE sushi option. The seafood options for the Korean bbq grill were not good honestly, but the sushi on other people's tables looked solid. Overall, I'd come back here when I'm craving AYCE in this part of Pearland. There isn't really many options close to here so thanks for diversifying the Pearland food scene!

My partner had the brisket sandwich with potato salad and a small helping of pickles and pickled red onions and I had the pulled pork tacos. My partner said the brisket sandwich was okay, but we both agreed that the potato salad was fantastic! The potato salad was way better than the one at Pappas Barbecue. The taste of the pulled pork tacos was great, but it was honestly too wet and made the flour tortillas too soggy and there was way too much coleslaw on top. I feel like if Killen's is going to serve pulled pork tacos there needs to be three things done. 1. Serve the tacos with an option of corn tortillas because I feel corn tortillas would've worked better to give a great contrast/pairing with the sweetness of the pulled pork and sauce. 2. Serve the corn/flour tortillas on the side so that they don't get soggy and wet. 3. There are some things that just don't belong on a taco of any kind and that's coleslaw. My partner and I also tasted the banana pudding and to say it was divine is an understatement. What I really like about this pudding was that you could taste real bananas in this pudding and it had been mixed well all together. Our total was $80 after tipping, which is a little pricey for some of the items, but honestly I would definitely come back to Killen's Barbecue when I was in the mood for barbecue.
