When the main course of braised short ribs came, it was amazingly tender, fall off the bone, and the sweet sauce was just right. The creamy mashed potatoes and veggies made a perfect finish. The lobster in my sandwich was shredded and had a pinkish colour. It had a slightly pasty texture. It also did not look like the image that showed large chunks of lobster. My client tasted his ravioli and said it tasted off. When checking the filling it was pink also. I'm just guessing, but it almost looks like they cut the filling with salmon. That would explain the colour and fishy / salmone taste both our dishes have. We mentionned it to our server, but she is convinced that it is pure lobster. My client worked in restaurant kitchens for years, and I have a pretty good palette. We were not going to argue with the server, but we do not feel like we got what we paid for. To bad, I used to like Baton Rouge.
