The sausage was amazing. Unsweetened tea was good, as well as potato salad and beans. Cons: the ribs were very large, tender and had a great smoke flavor but that's it. They were pretty fatty, although still had a decent amount of meat. But there was no real flavor to the meat other than the "smoke". The brisket was tender also but flavorless. I tried both sauces. Both taste very ketchup based with the Hot just being super spicy. I mixed the sausage and brisket together to eat so it would help the brisket. The location is great and in walking distance in Ybor, from the trolly or locals. Little house like place with two tvs on. One playing sports while the other was playing some Jerry Springer style lame drama, and was plenty loud for us to hear. Overall, very disappointed. The Smoker was going and gave us high hopes but lack of flavor made for a very dull meal.

I'm telling you, you ain't had any BBQ till you have eaten here. We just spent some time in Nashville looking for good BBQ and we were a little disappointed. This place is AMAZING.... It's in a small house just off the street.... Keep looking, it's there! Trust me you won't be sorry!!! The sausage is unbelievable. Trust me. I can't say enough. Everyone in this place was friendly, accommodating, and really just awesome. Thank you guys for the unforgettable food!

I've only had beef cheeks one other time, at LeRoy and Lewis in Austin, but I have to give Danny's the edge. They were unbelievably tender, literally melt in your mouth, with incredible flavor. The Wagyu Dino Rib was every bit as impressive. It was absolutely massive with a beautiful bark, the perfect amount of smoke, and so tender it practically fell apart. Of course I couldn't leave without some brisket, and it was just as outstanding as always. I had the chance to chat with Danny, and he and his team are some of the nicest people you'll meet. Their passion for great barbecue is obvious in everything they do. The Brisket Shoppe consistently serves some of the best BBQ I've had anywhere and, in my opinion, it's the best you'll find outside of Texas. Quality meat, cooked low and slow with skill, pride, and passion. It doesn't get much better than that. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and stop by. Pro tip: Order online ahead of time. You'll skip the line, make sure you get exactly what you're after, and avoid the disappointment of them selling out. Trust me... they will sell out.

The turkey is probably the best I've had. Maybe ever. Juicy, seasoned, could have been a giant chicken lol. The brisket was good as well. I went for half moist half lean. It turned out moist and more moist. Next time I'll go lean since its a particularly juicy brisket. The cole slaw was a fresh and crunchy touch of brightness on my heavy plate. The tallow fries had potential but I wish they were crunchier. The bon bons were good (first time having them) but after I ate everything else it was bit rich. I left with the itis but tbh it wasnt too bad which speaks to the quality of the ingredients! Worth a visit.

Order at the counter and they give it to you or bring it to the table. There's a good amount of seating and the place has a real open feel to it. There were only a few cars there. Food was unremarkable as we expected more based *on. Friend**raved about bread pudding- (**not to us). Spent $28 to sample. Not overpriced yet would not recommend or return. I noticed after I left this review that the reply for management never included any kind of compensation such as give me a call and we can make your next dining experience better, there were just a lot of excuses like we're working on getting a "better bun" that was 2 years after the restaurant opened in 2022. Other than the occasional weekend I never see a lot of parts in the parking lot. I will always raise the reviews before I take a chance. It was a disappointment and I should have called and asked for a refund.

I've had their food at Lightning games & was very impressed. That was nothing compared to what we housed after a brutal few hours at Adventure Island (just 15 mins away FYI). Yard Bird was among the best I've had. Same for the collards & Mac & cheese. My boo had the superb cheese grits and 5-star cornbread casserole. Corn nuggets were a great appetizer. Service was excellent as well. Super friendly. This place belongs in the conversation for Tampa's best barbecue. Or, I could be a prisoner of the moment. You decide.

We called and they had great customer service and offered to let us come pick it up and throw in a dessert. However, when you've already paid for delivery and a tip, it's just really annoying. We are glad we did pick it up because the dirty dog was our favorite menu item and that was what was missing. My husband said the deconstructed rib sandwich was "ok". The Tampa 2 had so much potential, but the bread was soggy and the Mac and cheese really didn't have much flavor. My son did love his pulled pork sandwich and banana pudding. We're glad we tried it but would try something else next time.

Ribs, brisket and pulled pork with baked beans, mac n cheese and cornbread. The ribs were meaty, rubbed with a great seasoning & fall off the bone tender. I didn't even need to put bbq sauce on them! The brisket melted in my mouth like butter and the pulled pork had great flavor too! The baked beans were sweet but not overpowering and the mac n cheese was the common you would expect with bbq. The restaurant is really open inside drawing your eyes to where you order. Tables inside are long to seat many people but they do have smaller ones too. It would be nice if they had more small table seating though. Prices are in range with other bbq restaurants. My only complaint was they made my tray of food minus the brisket as they were getting a fresh one out just made. They left my tray sitting with my food losing temperature. Fortunately it wasn't too long but they could use a heat lamp to hold food waiting for an extra hot item. Otherwise, Overall I was pleased and would go back again for sure.
