For context: a year ago, 3 movers moved my entire 3-bedroom house (twice the size of this apartment) with an extra storage unit stop in under 4 hours. This crew milked the clock. One guy spent nearly an hour wrapping just four basic items (a chair, ottoman, table, and dresser). Items sat staged on the curb for two hours without being loaded. The pace was so slow that we had to start carrying items to the truck ourselves just to finish. Even the crew leader admitted to me that one of his guys was moving too slow, yet they billed me for every single minute. I have reached out multiple times by phone and email requesting a fair refund for 2 hours of wasted labor, and management is completely ghosting me. Richard Bailey gets 10 stars for price, communication; recognizing the sense of urgency and the crew he hired to complete my move. He actually texted me right away; then we spoke briefly. Based on the conversation he gave me a verbal quote and booked my move for the next afternoon. His crew showed up on time. We're very professional; had great personalities and got me moved in two and a half hours. Nothing was broken either. Assembled my washer and dryer too. One of the crew members even gave me decorative advice as I moved from a 2300 sq. ft. house to a 1300 sq. ft. apartment and my couch didn't initially look right where I thought it should be!
