Ok so Big O must have deleted my first review but hey I am retired and can continue to post the truth everyday! Never go to this Big O, Never Never! Went to buy 4 tires. That part went fine but from there on it was nightmare. Free Alignment check found I needed new inner and outer tire rods for $780.00, Manager told me much cheaper than anywhere else and if not done would void warranty on new tires!. I said no and took 4 Runner to Lakewood Alignment, an honest business. My alignment was perfect and all tire rods in great shape. They charged $30 for the inspection. Also my tire light will not go off after checking presure on all tires. Big O charged $35.00 for new TPMS service kit but I bet they did not put it in. I will have Toyota check it out at next service check. I wish I could take the tires back as I hate giving DISHONEST people anything. Go to another Big O tire place and try them. I also wrote Biog O Corporate office and gave them 5 days to respond to my issue. Have not heard from them after 7 days so posting. I see Crawlercreations comment about the manager not caring and totally agree with that review. NEVER do business at this shop read more

Do not let them do any additional work on your car. During the process of repairing some of the battery line and connector they did something to our radiator. We have never had a leak or any overheating problems, but during the repair it gushed fluid onto their bay floor. Now , suddenly, it must be replaced ,a repair they quoted at $500. And this after dropping %700 in the store (apparently that was not enough). Their corporate office has no integrity either, because after calling and explaining that the manager has no interest in helping us resolve the sitch, claiming normal wear and tear, the corporate office has not gotten back to us. That is right, the customer care center at the corporate office level has no response. Well this is my response! Don't use this store! read more

I've been there twice and not only have they helped out with excellent service (2 flat tires), but they didn't charge me. They really care about their customers! My car was having some suspension issues, but I wasn't exactly sure what it needed. Big O quoted $2,600 for shocks, struts and tie rods. The quote magically changed to $1,900 when I said $2,600 was high. After shopping around at Midas ($1,500) and 3 other places (all around $1,200) I came to realize I didn't need tie rods and the work could be done for way less somewhere else. I was disappointed that "D" from Big O was comfortable trying to charge me twice the actual cost. Beware! read more

These guys are a great tire shop for sure but the last two times I've had to come by have been last minute steering and suspension issues on my way out of town. Not only did they get me in both times and get me taken care of quickly instead of saying they are too busy, they did so with a smile and a fair price. They even rotated my wife's tires for free even though we didn't buy them there. Awesome folks here! read more

I highly recommend Big O Tires for car repair services. I have taken my car there twice now and left a happy customer both times. Tim, one of the mechanics, got my car in with very short notice. He provided me with excellent customer service. He made my experience as quick and painless as possible. I felt he was trust worthy and honest about the repairs he felt my car needed. He was not pushy and I didn't feel like I was being ripped off by getting unnecessary repairs. While waiting for my car to be fixed, he took the time to give me periodic updates on the progress of my repairs. All the staff at Big O Tires were friendly, but Tim provided me with exceptional customer service. I will continue to take my car here for future repairs. i had called in and spoke to D Friday and was able to get new tires Saturday. i appreciate the great customer service D had provided and able to work around my schedule. i was there maybe 45 minutes when D asked if i was ready to go home. i have never seen such great service and in such a timely manor. i was out of there quicker then i am at a dealership. i truly appreciate the customer service and drive the Big O Tires team has. i will def come back and refer others. read more

Saturday I brought in a single tire I had removed from my pickup truck in my driveway. The crew at Big O worked me into their very busy schedule, plugged the tire in a very short time and I was able to take my repaired tire back home in a very short time. Other than quality workmanship, what is the main thing you need in a mechanic? Trust! This Big O Tires location lost my trust today. We brought our vehicle in to have Big O Tires diagnose and fix a problem with the air conditioner. They found the problem, which was a hole in a hose. They charged us a fair price for the replacement part, charged a high hourly rate (at least I think $130 per hour is high), and a moderate price to refill the AC with Freon. After they replaced the hose, they told us the AC still didn't work and we would need a new compressor and other parts for an extra $1700. We decided not to have Big O Tires replace the compressor because the price seemed outrageous. We paid for their services and drove away. As we drove away, we turned on the AC and guess what? It worked! Cold air blowing on a hot day. So while the Big O Tires mechanic fixed the AC problem, they lied to us and told us they didn't fix the AC and needed another pile of cash. How could I trust them to honestly fix only what is broken with a future repair? read more

I was told it would take 45 minutes to an hour for them to switch my winter to summer tires. It took 2 1/2 hours and they just let me sit there waiting without telling me anything about delays. They failed to check my alignment as promised because they said it would take another 30 minutes. The guys were relatively friendly but in general, the customer service/communication was terrible. I don't plan to go back and recommend to others that they go elsewhere. I hear Firestone in the same area is better. read more

I just moved and was pleased to find a Big O relatively nearby as Big O has earned my oil change, mechanical repairs and tire replacement business for the past 8 years where I lived previously. I was glad to find this Big O facility bright, clean and comfortable. Today's experience did not disappoint as the oil change was quick and the free mechanical checks are always appreciated. Also, since my tires were purchased at a Big O, they are rotated for free -- nice!! I've always found helpful coupons at the Big O website too -- worth a look. read more

My husband and I have used Big O pretty consistently for years. I went in last week with a nail-hole in our truck tire to get it patched. Brandon helped me; he said the hole was in the sidewall, quoted me $700 for a new set and told me it was very dangerous to drive around with the puncture, as " it could blow out on you at any time"; I think he was trying to pressure/scare me to buy tires right there on the spot. This quote sounded too high so I left and called Discount Tire in Arvada. Discount Tire gave me a quote of 400$ for a new set comparable to the ones Brandon quoted. I decided to then get a third opinion and went to Walt's Tire Service on South Golden Road. Walt's patched the tire, no problem, and I was told it was a couple inches from the sidewall, not even close.... Obviously, I would NEVER go back to Big O Arvada. read more

I have always gone to Discount for their service and prices. I decided to try something new/closer, so I scheduled an appointment online to have our winter tires changed out. I received an email saying that I shouldn't bring my vehicle in until we received an email or call from this business. I received an email confirmation the following morning saying that my appointment time was confirmed for that afternoon. I had my wife take time out of her day off to drive across town to take care of the appointment. Upon arrival she was informed that they didn't have our information in the computer and that they "don't do online appointments", but if we wanted to wait until 7pm they would "graciously" accept our business. If I wanted to sit in the store and wait for 3+ hours on a "first come first serve" basis I would have dropped off the car at 8am and had my wife pick me up and bring me back when it was ready. Instead, we specifically waited until the appointment time at 4pm (and actually arrived 30 minutes early to help them out) because we specifically received confirmation saying to do so. The level of unprofessionalism to not honor an appointment made online and *confirmed via email* was absolutely astounding. read more

I thought I would give a neighborhood store some business. Never again will I bring a vehicle to the Big O Tires on Indiana St. I took my wifes 2010 Toyota Sienna van in for an oil change and safety check. They told me she needed new front brake pads and turn the rotors. I gave them the go ahead. After taking all day to replace, i picked up van and front wheels scraped and knocked. I took it back the next morning and they told me it needed a new caliper but they never told me that the day before. i gave them the go ahead and the same noise still was there. I got another excuse but they said they would fix it the third time. Nope. I took the van to Mountain States Toyota where my wife purchased the van new and they said the brake pads were not the right ones, and they weren't even installed with proper clips. Also, the caliper did not need to be replaced after only 30k miles. I would not recommend Big O to repair my bicycle and trying to get them to stand behind their work was impossible. Also, they have since changed hands for the third time in 2 years. Hmmmm makes you wonder. read more

I have been to this location before for emergency tire replacement and thought I would return for a new set of tires since it's close to my house and I was treated ok the first time. NEVER AGAIN! I ordered the tires I needed and made an appointment to get them installed. I showed up to my appointment on time and was told it would take 1 and a half to 2 hours to get my car DONE. I told them that was fine and I would wait since it's my only vehicle, but that I had to work later in the day. I sat in the waiting area for 2 and a half hours before I went up and asked how much longer it was going to be. It was then that I was informed that they HADN'T EVEN STARTED ON MY CAR! On top of that they had let 4 other cars get ahead of mine and it was going to be 5-6 hours before they were even going to GET STARTED on mine!!! WHAT?!?!?! I had an appointment! I had been sitting there the whole time! No one came over to tell me that they were running behind, and on top of it they NEVER APOLOGIZED!! All they told me was that I could leave my car overnight with them and they would try to get to it in the morning. This was AFTER I already told them that it was my only vehicle and that I had to go to work. They obviously do not care about their customers and didn't care about fixing their mistake. I'm a single mother who works full time and have to plan my days carefully, so sitting there for almost 3 hours without ANY WORK BEING DONE ON MY CAR is unacceptable. I now have to start the whole process of ordering and getting the tires installed all over again. read more
