They told me I needed shocks for my truck which would be around 600.00. I got a second opinion at another mechanic just to make sure, and they said I definitely did not need the shocks done. Get tires here, they can handle that. Do not get an alignment done here. The very inexperienced techs broke off a perfect good tie rod end and destroyed the steering arm from applying force incorrectly. If you follow the factory service manual there is no way this can happen. The manager was great in that they replaced the part free of charge, but now I have non-toyota parts on my truck and the next time I have to do front end work will be a nightmare because the steering arm is completely stripped. read more

Since then we have been back three times for flat tires, and now we are told that they are unable to repair the latest flat tire! What???? Now, they want us to buy two more tires? For real? First I'd like to say that the guys that normally take care of my vehicles are good people. The issue is the manager. While discussing a concern he opened with, "I have no idea how they measure tires" and ended with, "there is nothing I can do for you. You'll have to take it up with the manufacturer." I was stunned to find out that the manager has no idea how tires are measured and that a customer isn't worth a simple phone call. After visiting another Big O for their thoughts I quickly realized I wan't alone in being frustrated. They agreed that the issue I took with my tires was warranted but, unfortunately, they could no longer clean up messes for this Big O and gave me a number to call and complain. Rather than mess with it I went across the street to Goodyear, and asked them to take a look. What I assumed was going to be a $1000 loss on the day and what I thought was a pretty big ask given I hadn't bought the tires from them, turned into a quick measurement of the tires, a quick phone call, and an arrangement where I had proper tires mounted and the initial issue resolved. It took less than 10 minutes to help. Goodyear gained a customer while Big O lost 20 years of loyalty. Be informed that any issues will be yours to resolve and that you, as a customer, are not worth a simple phone call. There are several other choices within minutes of this business. Everyone at this Big O has always taken good care of our vehicles from regular maintenance to emergencies. Had our truck towed there once close to closing, they stayed and fixed it. I had horrible tire blow out Saturday and when I called Monday morning they had the tires I needed, didn't have to wait for them to get them in and they got me in and new tires on quickly and efficiently. Do not buy tires from this store! They were great when I purchased my four tires 6 months ago. However I have been in 3 times since then to get my "free" tire rotation/balance and have been told they were unable to do that service that day as they were too busy at that moment. Today 11/26/2018 I arrived at 1:30 pm and asked for the tire rotation. The person behind the counter asked if I could come back tomorrow (Tuesday), with no guarantee I would not run into the same situation, or leave the car until Tuesday. I stated no and asked if I could schedule the rotation, and he stated they no longer do that. So this Big O store, which does not close until 7pm, cannot get me in for a 30 minute service but will offer me the ability to stop in tomorrow with the same situation possibly repeating itself or option 2, leaving my car overnight for a 30 minute service job. You have got to be joking. However, I ran into a friend getting tires at that same store, he arrived about 20 minutes before me, and they were able to take care of his vehicle immediately. So when you are paying money for a service, you can get in right away, but if you come back for the free service which comes with tire purchase, you are basically screwed. Not really a free service if you cannot get the service done. Have purchased tires at Costco and Discount tire and never run into this situation ever. Guess that is where I will be going from here on out. Will pay Costco $20 to do the balance and rotation on these Big O tires until these tires wear out at which time Costco will also get my business on the new tires. read more

Brought a tire in for repair. A week later it was flat. I was told the repair didn't hold because the technician had grind to deep into the tread for the plug to hold and then proceeded to tell me they did not do the repair at their location because they don't use that type of material. They didn't bother to record the service in their system at the first visit, just told to bring the tire in and it would be no charge. However, they did create a quote for tires for future reference while I waited for the tire repair. I didn't need tires until this winter. Long story short....my tire was damaged and needed to be replaced but since I have a 4 wheel drive, I could not buy just one. After some reveled untruths on their part they agreed to pay for 2 new tires. I took those to a dealership that is run by a family member ... had them installed the tires and two other new tires that I bought through the dealership. Never will I recommend them to anyone!!!! read more

They claim to be a professional tire store but would not even try to put a tire on my sons quad wheel. This just after I spent $1,500.00 on new tires for the wife. Very rude and acted like how could I ask a tire store to put a tire on a wheel. The guy actually told me to go to Home Depot and ask the garden department to help me. Lost me as a customer and I feel it is my duty to warn others. I am and have been a master tech for 15 years. I own a small auto repair shop. I was taking my customer's vehicles to this big o for alignments as my shop space is too small to accommodate an alignment rack. This morning I brought them a vehicle I had just replaced ball joints on so they could perform an alignment. I received a call stating that they could not perform that alignment because the rear axle bearings were loose. This is a vehicle I had just inspected less than 1 hour before and found no loose bearings. I picked the vehicle up and brought it back to my shop. I confirmed, again, that there is absolutely no play or looseness in the rear axle bearings. When I told the big o manager that he lost my business due to this issue he couldn't care less and stated that he "wasn't worried about losing my business over a little $850 estimate for rear wheel bearing replacement". If the vehicle actually needed wheel bearings I'd have been thankful but the fact that the shop tried to sell ANY amount of wheel bearing work on a vehicle that absolutely did not need wheel bearings is what lost me. If I had been any other person that doesn't know a lot about cars I'd have been taken for $850 for something that isn't faulty at all! Please, do yourself a favor and do not go here! They will rip you off and try to sell you things that are not needed on your vehicle! They also mentioned that it was due for front brakes. The front brakes on this vehicle are in great shape and do not need attention for at least 15k miles! The good news is they are making me understand why my customers are so loyal to me! read more

This place is local to where I live and I have bought tires from them. But when it comes to basic repairs, forget-a-bout-it. I had them work on one of my daughter's cars to replace two hoses that were ballooning, after clearly asking if this was something they could handle. Repair done, she drove the car home and the hoses they replaced blew that night. They reused part of the old hose and one connector, which failed. The part literally fell apart in my hands that night. To be clear, re-used parts, then charged for those parts, and the blow out happened after the 'repair'. read more

I experienced terrible customer service from these guys. I called and made an appointment for an alignment at 10:00 on Saturday. I called half an hour in advance to ask if we were still on and they said, "Yes." When I arrived they said that someone was still on the rack and they would be to me soon. A half your later they came out and told the other guy what was needed with his car. They could not give me any estimate on how long before they could get to me. It was clear that they had just put him up on the rack right before I arrived. After an hour they still had not started on my car, so I left. Obviously they did not honor my appointment. I came in for an oil change and was greeted immediately by the friendly manager. They also performed a free alignment check and checked my brakes. We knew that the brakes might need addressing so weren't surprised when we were told that they needed to be serviced. There was a problem with some bolts when doing the brakes, but even though they were worried that there was going to be a problem, it all turned out well in the end. Had to get new calipers, which was an unexpected expense, but what can you do. Overall, I was impressed with the friendliness and I think that they did a good job. Bought a new set of tires, not inexpensive, performance tires for my well maintained 2008 car, bought/paid for them on Saturday, brought the car in Monday morning 7:30 am for installation. Got a call at 1pm trying to up sell me on multiple other services, told them no thanks. Got a second call at 3:30 telling me I needed new tie rods and struts for $1200 more. Asked them why I'm hearing this at 3:30, told they had many cars before me (I was first car dropped in the morning). Settled for $600 for new tie rods since they couldn't do the alignment without it. bottom line, TONS of up selling for anything and everything, wasted my time, not honest or upfront. I ordered 2 tires for the front of my truck, they got them in and I set an appointment for the following Thursday at 1pm, I was there at 12 55pm, at 1:40 they still haden't even pulled my truck into the empty shop. I got my key and left. These guys are too busy F'in around to get the job done. This is the new Colorado way, Customer service doesn't count for anything........oh wait I went to Goodyear with no appointment, and was in and out in 30 minutes and 70.00 cheaper.....So Big O you can keep your cheap Chinese Ling Long tires, and shove them........I won't be back with my money ever! read more

I would leave them zero stars if I could. I was the second person in line as soon as they opened this past Saturday. All I wanted was an oil change. I was told "We'll be starting on your vehicle right away." My wife and I took a walk to enjoy the morning weather. 40 minutes later and I still haven't heard from anyone, we walk back into the lobby and are told "Oh, I was just about to call you! We're out of 0W20 oil and we have to wait for someone to pick some up." So they didn't have the oil I needed, but they drained my oil anyway so I had to wait longer. Throughout our HOUR AND FIFTY MINUTE OIL CHANGE. The manager was also blasé and dismissive of my wife's concerns, literally TURNING HIS BACK AND WALKING AWAY WHILE SHE WAS TALKING. Unacceptable. These guys are awesome, went in there this am with a screw in my tire and while I was concerned it was on the sidewall and unrepairable, the manager came out checked it and said he would repair it. It would take about 35 minutes, well less than 30 minutes and I was on my way. Repaired tire, no charge and great customer service, they even drove it for a short distance to get the sensor to recognize the pressure. Top notch, I like these guys and would recommend them to anyone! Good job! read more

This location may seem friendly and on top of things but they are not!! On several occassions we have has issues with these guys. We try and support local businesses and started bringing our fleet vehicles here only to have one left outside overnight UNLOCKED with $1000's of tools in the back. They also lost our keys to another vehicle which we were unable to use for more than a day for our company. We recently had to take a vehicle back over for a 2nd time to have the tires balanced again and they re-rotated the tires back to the original position! DUH!! They also lost a hubcap and refuse to take responsiblitiy for it. Please find another location to service your vehicle, the extra drive will be worth it. read more

Bought some all season tires there today, I was going for the same size tire I currently had but after disguising it I decided to go with the original factory size, which was a little wider, they gave me the better tire at the same price, they also fixed a broken stud & gave me a small break on labor. D is a really cool guy, he was very busy but still took the time to attend to customers & employees as well as the phone. The service was really good & it was relatively quick, they had the tires I wanted in stock as well. They mentioned for maintenance issues that I need to address that I was already aware of but it was very nice that they noticed those things. Do not let them do any additional work on your car. During the process of repairing some of the battery line and connector they did something to our radiator. We have never had a leak or any overheating problems, but during the repair it gushed fluid onto their bay floor. Now , suddenly, it must be replaced ,a repair they quoted at $500. And this after dropping %700 in the store (apparently that was not enough). Their corporate office has no integrity either, because after calling and explaining that the manager has no interest in helping us resolve the sitch, claiming normal wear and tear, the corporate office has not gotten back to us. That is right, the customer care center at the corporate office level has no response. Well this is my response! Don't use this store! read more

I went in for a switch between my snow and summer wheels on my Beamer. Service was GREAT, not only done in less than 35 minutes, but both the tire pressure and bolts tightened correctly (with air guns, easy to over tighten). Highly recommended, and guessing management has changed customer focus, as prior visits were not as nice. Will definitely be going back this fall for next switch over! read more
