My car needed a regular oil change. I look online at their website to see if they had any coupons I can use since I'm tied for cash. I found one for $19.99 standard oil and filter change. I go in and I show the older man up front (mind you I just saw & heard this older man call a customer an Idiot & etc because he wanted certain things for his car that apparently the car guy didn't appreciate.) The man immediately looked at me like I was also an idiot because I showed him the coupon and his response was "You can't use this on your car" I guess I had to use a different type of oil then what the coupon had. Come now about 2 and a half hours later my car is still not being worked on because all of the staff is in the back laughing and chatting away while I still have to wait for my car to be finished. Once I finally got my car, the next day after the oil change my car started making a loud clanking sound and it has been making that sound ever since. I don't want to come back to this place because I have seen a lot of reviews on how the men will weasel the women into paying more then what they need to. read more

I always count on CHARLENE to take care of my family vehicles. I travel cross country every year with a vehicle and a trailer and they care for all of it. Where to start. Brought several vehicles here for a variety of services which were all done well with great customer service. It fell apart after that. We brought my 17 year old sons car in to have a slowly leaking tire fixed. After two attempts were made they were unsuccessful in finding the cause. We were sent home and told to watch it. If it happened again, bring it back in and they would try to reseal the tire to the rim. We got home and my sons car was making a very bad clunking noise and deemed unsafe to drive. We had the car towed to our mechanics shop (at our expense) to have the car looked at. This is what was discovered. The tire that Big O worked on the night before to blame. It is held on by 5 studs. One was broken off in the rim, one was left blank and three were stripped by their air ratchets so bad that they could ot be removed by hand. THEY LET A 17 YEAR OLD DRIVE OUT OF THEIR SHOP WITHOUT ANY WARNINGS OR NOTIFICATION. When we notified them of the huge error in their judgement they only said, well the tech that worked on the car is not here to day sorry. They didn't pay for damages or tow or anything. They just let a minor drive off in a vehicle that was unsafe. One of the other tires had lugs only hand tightened on and the tire ready to roll off down the road. read more

Warning, this is a long post!! Sorry guys! I have always gone to big-O for all my car needs and sadly, after this visit, never again. I had an appointment at 10 AM to have my usual annual maintenance which I have done before and it's only taken about an hour even without an appointment. I took the car in at 9:50, staff joked with me on the manufacturer's suggested time of completion at three hours. Since I actually know the staff there from prior visits and have done it before, we both joked about the ridiculous three hour suggestion. So, I sat and waited, then walked around, then looked at the tires, then eavesdropped on the conversations at the counter between the workers, then fell asleep ..... Against the wall..... I woke up to a child screaming at about 12:30.... LOL, so I walked around the store a couple times and saw my car exactly where I had left it..... I asked about my car and staff told me that they had to get an air filter from another big-O.... Ah Ha! Ok, so I went and sat down in the waiting area again. I wasn't in a rush and was enjoying the afternoon off but I thought this was taking more time than I wanted to give up on my day off. Finally at 3:30, my car wheeled around to the front, for those of you not counting, that's almost 6 hours. I walked to the counter and staff looked like they had never seen me before and told me that they didn't know I had been there and that the air filter had taken a long time to obtain, but no apology for the almost 6 hour wait. Whatever, I thought, at that point I just wanted to go. I looked at the receipt after I left and noted the only thing they did was an oil and oil filter change in six hours. Since this fell way below my big-o standard I called their service line and explained that I had a six hour wait to which the rep just said about five times really condescendingly that she "was sorry and she'll give this to her manager right away." I gave them my info that they asked for and wasn't at all angry, I just wanted big o to know I was disappointed. The store called three days later and the same employee that had joked about the three hour suggestion apologized, I said "it's fine, I just wanted to let you guys know I expect better service or at least an honest time estimate." All being well, I asked about the air filter that wasn't on the invoice, that was the given reason why it had taken six hours. They told me, they had replaced it and "comp-ed" the air filter because of the wait and had not placed it on the invoice because of it being free. I thanked them and hung up the phone. At this point I thought, well they apologized and they did go the extra mile for the air filter which they comped! so I was going to write a review about how well they made up for my wait! Sadly, I received another call two days after from an employee asking me to return for the air filter they had to order because it wasn't in stock that had arrived. WOW. That's great, not only did they take forever and lied to me that my wait was due to the air filter from another facility, but also then lied to me again saying they already replaced it for free. Horrible service! They take forever. I took it in today at 9:30 am to get new brakes/tires but turned out I didn't need to(they called and told me 5 hours later) so I said just to do an alignment and tire rotation. It is 4:20 pm and it's still not ready. This is my family's only car, so it is important for us to have it to do anything. This isn't the first time this has happened. On a couple of other occasions it took 5-6 hours to get the car back for just a simple oil change! I only gave 1 star cause I had to read more

The people at this location were an answer to my prayers! My husband and I hit a huge piece of angle iron on the freeway and it mangled our 2 right tires and wheels. We were on our way to So Cal for an important meeting the next day so we needed a repair done quick! We got towed to a hotel and started making phone calls early the next morning. Charlene at Big O Tires was so helpful and pleasant! She said she would call her wharehouses to see if they had the wheels we needed and promised to get the car on the road asap. Boy did she follow thru! 10 mins later she called back and said she had located the wheels and they were on the way. I arranged the tow to their shop and they had all the work done within 30 mins! Excellent service. I purchased tires here years ago. I needed new windshield wipers and my tire pressure checked. The wipers were installed before I paid, and it took minutes for tires to be checked. I was there less than ten minutes, and expected to wait at least 30 minutes. read more

You cannot show them a coupon on your phone, it must be printed out even though it's just a code they type in. Went to the desk, was told she would take my car and code printed out, even though I had it on my phone and she knew I had no print out. She just sat there and I felt unwelcomed. I ended up going to somewhere else, paid more but I was treated more welcome than a nuisance. Never coming here again. read more

First time in, but I'd go back. Went in for a tire repair, which is free, but they charge $19 for balancing. Tire was finished in short order, even though it was a busy Saturday morning. They charged me nothing because Brice said I'd need new tires before winter (went in 8/23). One star off for not checking pressure in my other three tires. read more

My husband and I have done business with Big O Tires on Coffee Road for years. They have always been accommodating and professional. Very helpful when the low tire pressure warning light goes off... they check tire pressure and fill as needed. So easy to swing by to have it checked. Another positive for this location is their strong support for the veterans of our community. We were in the shop a few months ago when they were supporting one of our local military organizations. I TOTALLY agree with Robert R.'s review. Today I took my Mustang in for News tires. Brice, the manager had just left for lunch. My family and I have dealt with Brice and Big O for years. He IS the friendliest and most honest business man I've met. NO REALLY! So... anyhoo...My fiancée Stewart and I waited til he got back from lunch. We got the car washed and sat at the local Starbucks. What impresses me, is that he knows right away who I am and the car I drive. He didn't try to sell me the most expensive tires. Or make the most profit from this sale. He came outside and looked at the tires and told us what he felt would be best for our car. Not pushy at all. Even though it looked like a very busy day for them, he got my car done the same day. P.S. we also had to get it aligned. He reassures us that the work is done good. Took way to long to do an alignment on my truck and to top it off my steering wheel is all jacked up. To drive straight I have it make sure it's steering a little to the left. Really disappointed because it took so long I wish it would have been done right the first time, now I have to drive there tomorrow. Charlene is AMAZING she is always very helpful and is very knowledgable, I truly feel that they do what's right for the customer. I have gone to Toyota several times for my servicing on my cat and they always find an issue (new brakes, alignment etc) when I take it to Big o they always seem to tell me the opposite there not there just to make money. read more

Been going here for a while and great service. Now, not so much. Came in at 7:30 this morning for a simple tire rotation. Was written up for it and told to come back at 10:30 to get in. Back at 10:30 and told would be at least 45 minutes just to get it on the rack. And more time to wait for the job. No a/c in building guess it is broke. If you want to wait 5-6 hours for a simple rotation after purchasing tires here this is your place. read more

Won't be coming back to this Big O. I'd been coming to this Big O for a while but the customer service at this location is seriously lacking. Sal (Big O Manager) over at the White Lane branch goes the extra mile for his customers. My issues: 1) Couldn't look up my previous tire purchase (my 40k rated tires had worn after only 30k) even though I purchased it at another local Big O - didn't even offer to call over to the other store for assistance looking it up. 2) After putting new tires on my vehicle, my TPMS sensor "all of a sudden" stopped working at some point during the installation. On my outgoing paperwork the employee noted that all systems were functioning properly, when in fact it wasn't. Big O made me cover the $85 cost of the part, and the manager's excuse for the employee not marking that on my paperwork is that the employee isn't educated in TPMS systems...Come on, really? A tire shop doesn't know about TPMS? 3) When replacing my TPMS (according to the manager a 15 minute job), I was there for about an hour and a half. During that time my truck was left outside the building with only a floor jack supporting the axle while the wheel was off....no jack stands or anything the whole entire time. Thanks for making sure my vehicle was safe in case the hydraulic seal on the floor jack leaked...NOT. Corporate customer service wasn't any help either unfortunately. read more

I went in for an alignment on my vehicle and was told I was next in line for an alignment rack. I waited three hours for them to look at my vehicle. They placed my vehicle on the lift and left it there for fifteen minutes before taking it off. As I was observing them from the waiting area I noticed the service technician did not follow the five point inspection. When I asked for a printout of my vehicle's alignment, the tech at the front desk could not provide it. I was lied to and charged for work that wasn't performed. If you do choose to go to this location, my advise to you is to request a printed copy of all the work performed to your vehicle, just so that something like this doesn't happen to you. I did go back to this establishment two days later to notify the supervisor of the poor service received and she was very professional and refunded my money back. read more
