I shopped around and found Big O Tires has competitive price on SUV tire. I bought 5 tires and alignment. Overall the experience was great. Everyone was helpful and courteous, especially David who did the alignment for my SUV. 10K miles later I found a nail in one of my tire. I contacted Big O Tires and found out from Jason that they would fix it for free. I dropped off my car after work one day around 5pm. They guys got to it right away. They fixed the tire with the nail, re-balanced and rotated all four tires, and check for nail on other tires. In addition David was staying after his work hour to recheck the alignment for me as I thought the car was drifting to the right while on the freeway. Jason, David, and everyone I met at Big O Tires were polite and eager to help. Since my the tires were purchased at Big O, the works for that day was zero dollar. Get a call at work from my wife saying the tire light is on. Yeap, flat tire when I inspected the car when I got home. Called Big O, and they said bring it in (Wednesday afternoon 3pm). In less than 45 minutes, they repaired my tire for $20. Original tires on car, but not previously purchased from Big O. Back home in time for dinner. These guys have done me right each time I have come in. Of course, Saturday mornings, they are slammed. Helps to always have an apt. for their busy times. I have been their customer for an year now. They can not even perform simple tire balancing in one visit. I had to take my car from very busy schedule and theymade me wait for three hoursfor simple 6 months rotation and balancing service. The sales rep told me the cat is fixed and good to go which I found out after a week on freeway that car has gone worst than before on front wheels. I called in on next staurday to get it fixed quickly. The rep named mike tells me that he can not look at my car before two hours.and told me its my fault that I am calling him on a busy saturday and told me to bring it on next saturday or durig the week. I am really disappointed at them....first they do a bad job, and instead of realizing it they treat you as it was your fault.....yes now I realize that it was a mistake to go there at the first place..... read more

I was looking around to patch my BMW X5 RFT tire. Wherever I go, they want me to leave car whole day. And I finally stop by Big O Tires, they told me it will take up to 1 1/2 hours max. I didn't want to wait so I start walking home and I got message after 50 minutes saying my car is ready! That was fast for me even tough whole parking lot was full of customers. Secondly, I checked my rims and there was not even a small mark after patch. Great Job! $20 for the patch of X5! Quality service, no wait! I love it. I'll will always go there now on. read more

I got my tires here and had a good enough experience... A month or so later I noticed I had a nail in my tire... So I went in and asked if they could just take a look at... And although he did tell me he couldn't do anything without looking at the inside of the tire... The amount of attitude I received from him was terrible... I've been a big O customer my whole life but usually visit the Pleasanton or Livermore location and after that experience I won't go back.... I don't know about him but I work in an industry where being kind to customers gets you far... He could of at least humored me and came outside and looked at my tire... Or even been kinder when speaking to me... I used to take my car anywhere to get serviced, and having said that, I have learned that great service means something. Though I live in Castro Valley, I will travel to Dublin Big O Tires, to get my car serviced. I have been doing this for years now with my Acura MDX. Today, my car literally gave out as I was turning into their driveway. The car's momentum carried it into a parking slot. Joey was so professional and kind. He immediately had his crew assess the car and had it worked on. He told me the work may be passed closing, so my son and I were prepared to walk home, but seeing my desperation, Joey went back to talk to his crew and then returned and assured me the car would be ready by closing...and it was! So awesome. Both he and his crew put customer service ahead of their need to go home and I so appreciate that! I need my car for everything, and for it to just die on me like this was stressful. Joey and Big O put me at ease and answered my prayers in great time. So thankful! Will always come back to Big O in Dublin. :-) read more

Danny is the only reason why they get 2 stars. He is very friendly. Otherwise, they were going to charge me over $1,300 to fix the "cracking" noise coming my front end. They said they weren't sure what it was, might have been the ball joint, but they would just replace everything since they were all moving parts and probably needed to be replaced anyways. So instead of trying to take a systematic approach to figuring it out and doing the best the could, they took the easiest most expensive way to provide service. read more

The Manager did have our lug nuts replaced after my husband returned a second time. A size too large but better than no lug nuts. Finally this afternoon after over three visits we finally have the correct size lug nuts. If you want positive reviews do good work. I prefer to write five star reviews. read more

WATCH OUT! I've been a customer of this shop for several years and thought they were a good place to get tires, BUT this month I took my SUV in to have the tires rotated. The shop told me I needed other repair work on the car that they estimated would be over $700. I took it to another AAA tire repair shop in the area and they said I just needed the car realigned and it ended up costing only $70. read more

I've been coming to Big O in Dublin for over 12 years for three simple reasons...... quality, professionalism and Mike at the front counter. With a family of 5 drivers we're regulars at the shop. Prior to discovering Big O we tried a few other local shops and always felt as if we were getting cheated or scammed. Come in for one issue with an estimate of $200.00 and leave with a $2000.00 bill for 5 "new items". Not once have I dropped a car or truck off with Mike and received that dreaded 4:45 pm phone call saying "I got good news and bad news. We fixed the problem you came in for but you know that filter, under the engine this and behind the seal that? Well it's shot and needs to be replaced. Oh and by the way we still have everything apart but it's on back order". Bottom line is Big O provides quality, honest service at a reasonable price. Now if I had one complaint it's that they make me look bad when they give the wife a flower for a tire rotation and i don't buy her flowers for our anniversary. #GottaLoveMike read more

Great workmanship but the appointment system is flawed. You are supposed to stand in the same line as non appointments or even get in behind people with later appointments. So I've stood in line for over an hour when I walked thru at my 9am appointment time. It wasn't till 10:15am at check in time because there were some very complicated issues ahead of me. This got me a 11:15am guaranteed finish time for my first rotation after buying 4 tires here. So actually over 2hours with appointment guaranteed. Another time I walk thru the door for my 8am appointments at 8:00am one step behind the 8:15am appointment and they take the 8:15am appointment. Doesn't make sense to me. I called customer service and verified its first come thru the door, first checked in. If you walk into Costco for a tire rotation they may not take appointments but you can go inside and shop or eat for an hour or more after checking in Due to similar industry practices I'll give them a 3 Star instead of 2 Star rating. read more

I bought a set of tires for my car that were not the most exspensive but the car is now a back up car. Although you would think I bought top of the line after I got done with all the add ons. Any way the tires are noise and fallow all the groves in the road. When I went back the sales person told me that is what I get for buying a cheap tire and it was my falt for doing so! I need to buy two more sets of tires but not from them. The tires on my car are coming off and will be on craigs list for sale! read more

I took my vehicle here for the first time to have some work done on the front end and it will be my last time. The service writer was professional, courteous and gave me an accurate estimate but I was not happy with some of the the work done. When I got a phone call for the estimate on the repairs I was also told that the front brakes and rear brakes needed to be replaced and I needed a spring kit for the rear brakes. I declined the brakes and said to just do the work I took my vehicle there for. After the work was done I looked at the brakes at home. Before I took the wheels off I checked the lug nuts with a torque wrench and they were overtightened by about 80 lbs. The front brakes had about 50% left (plenty of material), the rear brakes were actually pretty thin but there was nothing wrong with the springs. I also looked at the underside of my vehicle and noticed that when some of the nuts and bolts were reinstalled after the repairs were made the washers were forgotten about. Rather than go back and have the shop take care of it I'm just going to pay the few dollars it will cost to buy new washers and do it myself. read more

I brought my car in two weeks ago for a ROUTINE tire rotation and oil change. When I returned to pick up my car they had a list of items that they said my car NEEDED. I couldn't believe it, I service my car religiously and to my knowledge there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car. It was running, and is still running, like a top. I took my car to the Service Center in San Ramon that has always taken care of my car repairs. They went through each and every thing that Big O Tires said was wrong with my car, they found that NOTHING was wrong with my car. They had proposed $1500.00 in work from new struts to new brakes. I will NEVER EVER take my car back here again. Honesty and Integrity are two things very near and dear to my heart, this place is a total rip off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They do a good oil change and tire rotation, but do not have them do any unnecessary work on your automobile. read more

After visiting a new home development, I didn't realize I was driving away with 1 nail in my front left tire and 2 nails in my rear right tire. Initially I went to America's Tire in Dublin and the rep there told me that one tire couldn't be repaired because the nail was in the side wall and was quoted a price of $435 per tire. The $435 price instantly had me heading for the door and on to the internet to determine what my tire should cost. As it turns out, the average price on the net was about $335. So, I headed to BIG O to find out if I could get the $335 price. I was greeted by Jason. After explaining my tire situation we immediately headed outside so he could take a look. He too, stated one tire was not able to be repaired but needed to be replaced. He looked up my tire type and quoted a price of $340 out the door. Woohoo!! I was happy to save $100! The tires were repaired/replaced this morning and my car is handling beautifully again. Very pleased! Would have given 5 stars but it took two more days than I was initially told by Jason for the tire to come in. All in all... Overall experience was outstanding! read more

Will not go back, ever! While I did appreciate the fact that the front counter staff was polite and personable and they have the sweetest shuttle drivers ever, I believe I was completely ripped-off. I had normal maintenance done, oil change, filters, engine coolant replaced, etc. Pretty simple stuff, right? Shortly after having that done I started experiencing problems. Intermittently not starting, idle surge, etc., Took my vehicle back in and was told the voltage was low on my battery and I needed a new one. O.K., knew battery was at the end of it's "shelf life" so agreed to purchase one. After leaving, continued to experience same and more frequent problems of car not starting, idle surge,s etc. Engine light came on and I took it BACK in ,only to have them tell me the OBD2 scan did not reveal a code. Finally had a friend, who is a mechanic, look at my car. Once he opened the hood, 1st thing he discovered was the battery I had purchased and installed by Big O was thrown in without being braced, bolted back down. Leaving it to potentially bounce around. Very shoddy. 2nd, surprise, surprise, Friend was able to get an OBD2 scan DTC of P0116, which = Engine Coolant Temperature Circuit Range/ Performance. HMMMM, all these problems after their initial maintenance that included, REPLACING THE ENGINE COOLANT. Friend cleared the code out of computer, which as long as it remained, would continue to tell the computer there was a problem, causing the vehicle to continue to malfunction. After my Friend cleared the code, there have not been any problems since. THANK YOU MY FRIEND! Given the circumstances, understandably leaves me feeling like they intentionally did something to cause that code and all the resulting problems so I would come back and they could soak me with other parts and repairs. IF, that is the case, SHAME ON YOU! SHAME ON YOU! Again, I WILL NOT GO BACK, EVER! read more

My wife brought my car in because she blew a Big O Tire on the freeway. She was told that the custom rim, which we bought at Big O as well, could not be fixed, and were no longer made. They quoted us one price, then called to see if the car was ready, and the total came to over $1,000 more than quoted. Told us car needed new rotors, which was confirmed by a BMW expert that it didn't. The guys up front have only one job, which is to sell you things you don't need. I have purchased thousands of $$ worth of products, rims and tires for all of my vehicles over the past 4 years at BIG O, and I realize now I have been getting ripped off all this time. Same Rims and tires quoted at BIG O I found for $1,400 less elsewhere! Don't waste your time. They have a shuttle service that was 1.5 hours late to pick me up to get my car. I booked it the night before and confirmed in the morning. I was late for work as a result. read more

I took my truck to this location because my ABS light was on & I needed help. They insisted on removing the dash board on my truck to access the ABS module. A few days later the shop called me & said that I needed a part that was no longer available to obtain unless i found a used one.. When I went to pick up my truck I found scratches & gouges all over my dashboard. After notifying the shop about the damage on my vehicle they tried telling me that it was pre-existing! After a few conversations with the store owner the shop finally agreed to repair the damage. A few weeks later, I noticed that there was light showing through the switch housing to the headlight controls & I had NEVER seen this before after owning this vehicle for 12 years & the dashboard had NEVER been opened/ removed before.. The switch housing fell off when I was driving a few weeks after that & I took my vehicle to another shop in effort to avoid going back to Dublin Big O. The next shop showed me that the switch had been broken off & literally glued back onto my dashboard!! Right then & there I knew that the damage had occurred at the Dublin Big O Tires so I recently called them back about the issue & the store manager told me that they would NOT help me & that they were no longer willing to service any of my vehicles ever again!!! Now I have a broken headlight switch & have no choice but to pay for a new part that BIG O TIRES HAD BROKEN & DENIED BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR. I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISHONEST & UNPROFESSIONAL DUBLIN BIG O TIRES!! The Ford dealership looked into my ABS problem & showed me that the ABS module is located under the hood NOT the dashboard!! In the end all I needed was to replace the wheel speed sensor cable on my right front tire to fix the ABS! I still currently have a broken headlight switch thanks to DUBLIN BIG O TIRES. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A BIG FAVOR AND AVOID DUBLIN BIG O TIRES AT ALL COSTS!! I would rate this establishment zero stars if yelp allowed. read more
