Took my 328i BMW to get an alignment and at first everything seemed fine. They did my alignment and I paid. I was not handed my alignment report and had to ask for it. They handed it to me and half of the report was blank with no color and he told me "Oh we ran out of ink." The camber on the report was off so I question the manager why. He told me he didn't know and called in the guy that did it. The guy that did when asked thought he was getting in trouble and in front of me said "We don't have the right tool to do the alignments I've told you before." Jimmy then told me that he was going to talk to his boss and get the correct tools to do a proper alignment and that I can bring it back when they get it. They are all a bunch of LAIRS and will TAKE YOUR MONEY. Half of my report is blank so I don't even know if they fixed anything. DONT TAKE YOUR CARS HERE TO BE WORKED ON. read more

When they first opened up here things were great for your simple every three to five thousand mile oil change but my last two visits here were nothing compared to the beginning. My vehicle left there with an oil pan leak and one of my washer fluid hoses under the hood was sliced clean in half with a razor sharp tool. I'll never go back here again. Update: I had an issue with a nail in my tire and since I bought them here I went back for a repair... I found that the previous manager and employee are no longer there which was a relief. Jimmy and the crew they have now are outstanding! Very professional, accommodating, and do a great job! I have never recived such Bad service. I was anticipating excellent customer service because their shop just opened this month. Instead I was lied too and the guy working there had no concern for my families safety. He only conplained about the long commute he had from Marysville. I needed tires... I made an apointment. Instead of doing real reaserch he decided to lie about contacting the manufacturer hoping i would pay more. He thought i was stupid and lied strait to my face. I made an appointment for a oil change and tire rotation. I had a coupon for $29.99 oil change with free tire rotation. When I presented the coupon to the sales associate, he told me my car only takes synthetic oil and that coupon is only for regular oil. Odd...I thought, no one ever told me my car used synthetic oil but I am not the car expert so what do I know. There was 4 people waiting in line behind me so not wanting to hold up the line any further I said okay and went with his only option. It ended up costing me over $63. I called informing this Big O location that I had a Groupon for a full synthetic oil change. I disclosed the price of $41.65 to them. They confirmed. It's usually $79.90. ($38 savings) Obviously I'm interested in saving money if I'm using a Groupon in the first place. When I arrived they were polite but not really friendly. The service advisor informed me that the Groupon only covers 5 1/2 quarts of oil and I need 6.25 quarts and also the Groupon does not include disposal fees... So it was going to cost me an extra $24 on top of what I paid for the Groupon. $65.65 (Now only a $14 savings) I drove out of my area to benefit from this Groupon and feel like it was deceitful on their part to not let me know about the extra charge before I made the appointment. They wait till you drive all the way down there and are in the shop to tell you that it's an extra $24.... Very shady. I will not be returning. read more

I have been using big o for tires for about 10 years or longer in the Folsom area. I have had great experiences there until today. first the online site does not give accurate information on tires in stock so I had to change the tires to a more expensive brand because the ones that I picked had to be ordered. this is a typical upswell trick but I had a ripped tire and had no choice once I got to the business. with an appointment I had to wait for two hours and when I asked for an update Tom the bearded one got all defensive and was very dude. all I wanted was an update!! once I finally get out of here after paying 500.00 more than my original quote I will never come back here again. I was a very loyal customer and the new ? management is so bad I will let every one I know to go somewhere else. very sad and disappointed that a good store would hire such a rude person to manage it. horrible customer service! read more

I hydroplaned my car into a ditch a few weeks back and it was in desperate need of an alignment. I found a groupon for a discounted alignment at Big O and I got some incredible service. Lacarey set me up for the alignment and let me know that my tires were worse for wear(hence the hydroplane) and I was hesitant to bite. He didn't push it, but also made sure I knew that I could be susceptible to more hydroplanes in the future. I decided to follow their recommendation. They wanted to replace the air pressure sensor as well, a sensor that L*s Schw*b told me was broken beyond repair. I was again hesitant, but Lacarey said he would look at it and replace it for the cost of the part if it needed to be done. I was happy with this, but as it turns out, it was an easy repair that lesser tire stores tired to lie to me about. They were so cool about everything at Big-O. I'm a customer for life. read more

My husband's tires were really getting bad. We called up the Riley store (and several other stores) to get a quote on new tires for his F250. We received a great quote from the sales associate Margaret. Then when we got there she was able to even give us a better deal than quoted on the phone. Took my car in to get my brake checks. They told me I needed all new rotors when I literally got brand new ones less than 2 years ago. They quoted me about $630, and said that was "after a coupon". They lied about how low my brake pads were as well so that I would also pay to get those replaced. They told me I shouldn't drive my car anywhere to try and get them to do it. I said no to the service and when I went to pick up my car there was not a single car in their shop. The techs were just waiting there. I felt like they were just trying to get business off of me. I then took my car to Folsom Motor Works immediately after, who fixed everything for half of the price and my car is running great. I also asked big O to fill up my tires since I got them there, and they didn't even do that for me for free. Probably one of the worst people you can deal with !!! Had a Groupon for Big O Tires, however they said it is not acceptable at this location. So the alignment is not $150+ I asked where Big O might accept this, now Dylan said how about $70.00, I said no. We settled at $50.00 which is still more than I got from Groupon. This experience was so great. From entering the store the employee was so nice, he explained exactly what would happen. His customer service was so beyond excellent. I thought it would take at least an hour; but to my surprise it only took 1/2 hour to complete my oil change. The employee whom I had come in contact with as I entered the store let me know my car was ready. I was so surprised as to how quickly they got it done. I had broken a valve stem on one of my wheels. I brought the tire/wheel in for repair. I was told to leave it and return in an hour. Upon returning, the valve stem had been replaced and I was not charged a penny. Thanks again! read more

Had set of four tires installed. New valve stems were not installed. Assumed this was covered by installation contract which was $874. Tire pressure sensors were not working and no one brought this to my attention. After 10,000 miles had tires rotated. Upon my request it was determined one valve stem was leaking which was replaced without cost. Was told that at next tire rotation all tire pressure sensors/ valve stems could be replaced which should of been done when tires purchased. Sensors/valve stem cost four times more than Amazon. Was told they would only program sensors they sell. At least they will install so we can program elsewhere. Not good. read more

Great experience at Big O in Folsom. The staff was friendly and worked diligently despite being short staffed today. First, they got me in the day I called. Second, I was quoted $278 on the phone, but in the end it was only $249 (meanwhile Honda had quoted me $350)! Third, They estimated maximum of 2 hours for the service and despite having to run out to get the proper transmission fluid, they still had me out the door in under 2 hours! They showed true care about their customers and doing the job right. Will definitely be returning and recommending this location to friends. read more

This particular shop is new to the area and it appears some of the service guys aren't trained properly, care or know what they're doing. I scheduled my 2012 BMW X5 for wheel alignment service after installing new wheels and tires to ensure my suspension (camber, toe, etc...)is within factory spec. After picking up the car I noticed a few red flags about this shop. The first being that the staff didn't bother going over the work order or what was done on my vehicle. They just wanted me to pay and be out the door. The second was that when I drove the SUV home I noticed within the first minute of the drive that the car aggressively pulls right and the steering wheel now shakes violently indicating some type of wheel balance issue that did not exist prior to service. It hurts to think that I paid someone to actually make my SUV worse than when it arrived. They usually have great ongoing Groupon promotions available but now It all makes sense as to why they need them. I won't do business with them again unless they make things right and hire and train staff to use the alignment machine properly. I wouldn't risk my money, my car or my time if I were you. read more

Had a decent first experience here so came back today for an oil change. I had an appointment for 11am. My husband and I got here a couple minutes before 11. The guy at the counter got all our info, told us our total was $63. We told him we had a groupon and he gave us such an attitude afterwards. He told us our new total and told us an hour. We called back at 12:15 since we didn't hear from them, guy on the other end told us another 30-45 minutes. Of course we were annoyed but fine. We showed up at big o tires at 1pm. It's 1:30, my car is still up in the garage. We are beyond frustrated and they kept extending the time. They had no respect for our time. They were rude and had no explanation for why an oil change took two and half hours. I will never be going back there again. read more

I came in yesterday at 5:15 pm asking to have my tire checked for a leak. When I walked in store I didn't feel welcomed, it was more like I was a bother to the man behind the counter. He told me that he couldn't even look at the tire today...I instantly was pretty disappointed in the fact that he was so certain and didn't even care to see how bad the tire was. As I turned to leave he said "we close in 45 minutes and there are 2 people still waiting", he could have went about his approach in a much nicer manner. I had previously had an excellent experience at this location last December and I even gave an excellent review for Jimmy, he stayed after hours to help me on Christmas Eve (I believe). Not sure why this guy was in such a mood but I will not be returning. America's tire company said they will help anyone on a walk in basis as long as you get there before closing. Not Covid safe. Avoid if you don't want to be in a closed office space with unmasked people. Also not worth much to make an appointment for an oil change - if it's busy you will wait for a long time after your appointment time. More details: I called a few days ahead and made an appointment for an oil change at 3 PM. On the phone at that time I asked how long it would take & was told 45 min - 1 hr. When I dropped off the car I asked how long it would take & was told 45 min - 1 hr. I came back 1 hr and 20 min later and my car hadn't been touched. "It's busy!" I was told. I waited some more. I asked for an update and was told I'd be next. When they got started things only took ~ 30 min. I was out of there soon after 5 PM, thankfully. One customer service staff member wore a mask the whole time. The other had his mask on his chin. When he tried to pull it up (when I first walked in) the elastic was dead and it fell right back down on his chin, where it stayed the rest of the time I was there. Signs everywhere say masks are required in the office. I couldn't wait in the waiting room b/c a customer there had no mask on (not even on his chin). I waited on the sidewalk on the other side of the parking lot. This was a somewhat stressful experience. read more

i dropped my car off for an oil change today nothing else was wrong with my car. I picked it up with a broken door. The employees tried to lift my car improperly and fractured my driver side door frame. Jimmy the manager was very rude and not trying to help and tried blaming me for the issue. One of the employees almost backed another car into me and didn't even apologize. All employees refused to give me their names. When I let them know my car door was jacked up they lied about calling corporate and left me standing outside while pulling on my door and trying to maneuver it into place it took 3 people to stand where I couldn't see what they were doing. Still no apology just Jimmy telling me he would check the cameras to see if I brought it up there like that or not pretty much accusing me of damaging my own door. He yelled at me and my mom because we were upset telling him to fix my damn car door because I didn't bring it up there like that. I asked for a refund and he said he wasn't authorized to give me a refund. he tried arguing and stalling on giving me corporates number. cops were called. Eventually I got my refund which was not offered. Also I got cooperates number where Gregory is going to take care of my cars expenses Due to the Negligence and unprofessionalism of their employees. I will never go back there again. I am very frusterated because I have to travel back to Indiana tomorrow and I cannot drive a car with that kind of damage home it's unsafe on all different levels. read more

Probably the worst reliable place to go. The service was okay. I went in for a brake inspection and I was waiting right there while they were doing the inspection. I was hearing screeching noise so I took it in. The guy who checked my brakes only took out the tires on the right passenger side and didn't even bother to take the other 2 to make sure nothing is wrong. I was told the brakes can last for a little longer and it is not a problem. After taking it on a drive I start hearing metal grinding noise on the back left tire which was making it hard to drive. I understand it was free but this was cheap job. They didn't even bother to check the other tires for safety or diagnosis. Worst experience. It says that it's the only locally owned and trusted place. I didn't feel like trusting them ever again after this experience. The reception guy was nice but I am sure he had a hand in instructing his guy to do a quick haphazard check. I am not sure if he would do that for his sons car or not. Well you all get the point.
