Called confirmed hours and they were open till 7pm! Get here at 6:20 and not a car or employee insight. If you are posted to be open till a certain time you should remain open till then. Called the number it also said they were open till 7. There are no signs on the door stating they closed early. Just poor customer service and lack of caring. read more

I work out of town and get home around 6. The only oil changer place open after 6pm in Folsom great. Company vehicle no cost to me, not sure what it cost. The downer here is the time it took. I appreciate thoroughness, but I ended up with 2 people asking me the same series of "required" questions. Seemed like they were off or I got a trainee. I will probably try it again just based on the hours but left wondering if they were 100% on the service, due to the overlapping techs. read more

Vrooom...vrooom goes the engine after an oil change at Valvoline instant oil change! They will make you feel like Mario Andretti... I absolutely love their business model and concept. My question is, why isn't the standard everywhere?! If you've never been to a Valvoline instant oil change location, I'm not surprised. There aren't very many of them around, at least just yet. This location is in Folsom, literally around the corner from Costco, which is how I found them. The concept is a 15 minute start to finish oil change. When you pull in they have several different bays, and someone will direct you to the shortest/fastest lane to get into. The service people here are so super friendly! What I really love is the fact that you don't get out of your car. Yes, you read that correctly, you do not get out of your car. The service techs will come over to you, and ask you the basic questions such as mileage, type of oil that your car takes etc. Once you drive your car into the bay, they will do basic inspection of lights, filters etc. keep in mind, my review is only for an oil change. I'm fairly picky about all of my vehicles, and while they offer a number of different services, I found them to be fairly pricey with some of their other services. Where else can you go on a Sunday afternoon to have your cars oil changed?! After they changed the oil, another tech came by, and with his checklist they did a check to make sure that the oil was at the level that it should be, the caps were all back in their places, and that I was good to go. 15 minutes. Even with a line, it definitely was one of the best oil change experiences that I've ever had with a vehicle. Tip of the Day: with a Yelp check in, you will receive 20% off your total service! Appreciations to the cheerful, friendly, welcoming and very kind team at this location! I went in last Friday Feb.16th for my oil chance and was welcomed and greeted with a positive overall experience. Micaela, Andrew, Charlie and Zeshawn not only took great care of my vehicle they also went above and beyond by providing the extra TLC that is so very welcome and always appreciated! Michaela especially took the time to ensure I was well taken care of and even drew a heart on one of the engine parts that was tested for leakage! We were able to talk about our pets and share photos as well and the entire time spent there was like spending time with a group of friends who genuinely would like to ensure your time spent is well taken care of in a positive and friendly manner. The last time I was there before then the sticker was forgotten so I couldn't remember when I was last there however this time Michaela said she wanted to make sure she replaces with a new one so I could be reminded on when to return the next time. Up selling is horrible at this location. Your power steering fluid is low, Your rear diff is low, etc. Complete BS. The funniest was your oil was low we had to add 1 quart extra. This was after draining the oil. My vehicle takes 5.7 quarts and they put in 6 quarts. read more

My wife bought an oil change off Groupon for $40, usually $60. The staff was friendly, professional and fun. While doing the change they were making fun rhymes, laughing, and making being on your feet all day in 100 degree weather fun. Big props to that, I loved the atmosphere. The oil change was good, and quick. Really appreciated it. My rating is more of a 4.5 or 4.8 stars. Everything was great, but afterwards I had to pay $6 on too of my Groupon as a service fee or something. I didn't have cash and luckily had my credit card. Still, I thought i paid through the Groupon and had i not had my wallet or a card I'd have been screwed. So, small charge and not upset or anything, but I don't like surprise charges. read more

Talk about going mind blowing exemplary service. My car had a low oil pressure warning and I went in there to get the level checked. The best person ever was manning the station - Charlie. She checked and found that the oil levels were good. Then proceeded to check even further and found that the sensor was unplugged. Plugged it back in and all lights were gone. Even took a lil video to show me what was wrong. And did not charge me a dime. Not only did you fix the car, you made my day. Now I'm going around telling everyone about you!! read more

I've been there twice. The first time they forgot to give me the windshield sticker, reset the maintenance light on my dashboard, and give me a receipt. The second time was better (the employees were all very nice) but I specifically asked them for windshield washer fluid because my light was on and he replied that they already topped it off. If they did add any, they put very little because the next day my light was on again. I had to go buy some and I add myself. read more

We had our oil done in La at a Valvoline. After a long trip north our car light engine light came on. To see what the problem was We pulled into Vavolone and Romeo helped us. All 4 bays were full and he made us feel like we were 1st in line. We didn't even pull into a bay and he was able to fix the issue. Honestly we were stunned at not only the service, but the speed! John you're a jerk. A car came before us but he didn't know where to go and just sat in his car forever so we picked the lane that wasn't occupied. John came over after a few minutes and told us we had to move for the other person because he came first.. so we backed out again the guy didn't want to move. So we went back to the spot and tried to explain to John who could care less and still made us move. He took more than 15 minutes and then when we presented our coupon that didn't expire until July he told us it was expired and when we pointed out the date he said that's been happening I can't do anything about it. Usually an oil change for me is scheduling with Mopar and dropping the car off for a day. I rolled the dice and decided to go to Valvoline. The guys at the shop are outstanding at their jobs. They were knowledgeable and I chatted with Maurice about his car / my car. I was in/out in roughly 30 minutes. That 30 minutes changed everything for me. We went for an oil change (my husband likes to use this place for his truck) yesterday. They spilled a ton of oil which they tried to clean up (unsuccessfully, unbeknownst to us). Today, my husband thought he had an oil leak. After climbing under the truck to inspect, he realized that it wasn't necessarily leaking, but they hadn't cleaned everything AT ALL, causing his truck to drop oil all night. To make matters worse, he pulled one of their oil-soaked rags out of his fan. He called and reached someone at what I assume is a corporate office. She was appalled and transferred him to the local place where they did the service. He was rudely greeted by a female associate who told him that she had already been informed of the situation and she would be sure it didn't happen again. Ummmmm really? Needless to say, we won't ever go to this place again or recommend. read more
