near disaster....you go to a professional establishment to have a job done right. shortly after an oil change at Big O, I noticed mild dripping on the ground, only to find a damaged filter poorly seated leaking oil. After driving back to Frisco, I noted oil sprayed all down my truck and trailer coming from this.... the technician replaced it when I got to the shop, but showed me a filter that he said was the problem with a faulty O ring... only thing was the filter he showed me was unscathed on the surface...not this filter that was installed. I'm sorry I'm going to have to share our story. Went in with a screw in our tire and they tried to tell us we needed to replace all 4 of our all-wheel drive tires. My husband has been in the car business for many years and knew immediately they were trying to pull the wool. Manager came out and was like, "oh yeah well you definitely don't need all 4 replaced hahaha." and then said well yeah you'll need to get a new tire. We said ok. But THEN said they could just patch it. Wow. So they patched it. Got back to our Airbnb and it was still leaking air. We called them and they said "ok we will order a new tire and can get to you and put it on the car if you arrive between 7-9am tomorrow. We got here at 8:15. "Well, your tires here but we can't fit you in to put it on until tomorrow." The misinformation wheel forever spins here. So we're like, fine, give us the tire and we will find a place to put it on for us today. We bring the tire out to the car and IT'S THE WRONG TIRE. WRONG TREAD, WRONG BRAND, WRONG EVERYTHJNG. HOW? In the end we kind of had no other choice but to keep the incorrect tire that won't even work in Texas because of the heat. They're crazy busy every single day. Not a lot of other options in the area. I will thank the individual that at least got that tire on so that we can just drive home. Value for the tire is good so we can resell it but jeez!!! Be ready. I have been a customer of this Big O for 30 years. When they changed my snow tires out in October, they wrecked my Tire Pressure Sensor, replaced it with an aftermarket unit, and then feigned ignorance when the Lexus system rejected it. It cost me 3 visits to Big O being treated rudely, and then $175 at a competent tire store to learn I had to replace with a Lexus factory sensor. Tires are their business and I would think they would know that tire pressure sensors are not all the same. When I provided the manager with all the receipts and evidence of the issue, she ghosted me. I will never set foot in this store again and recommend everyone use Summit Automotive in Silverthorne for their tire needs. read more

Anyways I had an appointment with the other Big O tire in Eagle Vail but couldn't make it there in time before they closed so I came to this location. TL;DR : Don't bother here, go to discount tire in Denver! Did all this below for FREE w a smile after hearing we stopped at Big O Had nothing but disrespectful, and dismissive people working this Saturday. Acted as if their JOBS were too hard for them to accomplish them, and gave out bullsh** excuses to dodge doing so. Had a flat tire out in Frisco, and they refused to help us at all. I changed it,and brought the spare and flat tire in for a quote on how long the tire repair would take, and if the current spare was rated for long distance travel as I was beginning a cross-country road trip. After I asked if they could check out the original tire, I was told "we don't do tire repairs 30 minutes after opening". What?? This is "Big O Tires" right? Is it suddenly a dairy store?? After realizing this location is staffed w kids who are more concerned w their dab pens then their jobs, I asked if he'd come look at the tire and give me some friendly advice concerning the trip. He then told me "we don't do that, we could be liable for any damage caused to your car". I'm genuinely confused if this guy was on his first day or just doesn't like his job. Will be dodging any Big O tires and not recommending them to anyone in the valley. Visited this location today and had a great experience as a customer. The guys here were really knowledgeable, quick and friendly. After being there for over an hour, I found out I had to get all new tires. It was 6:56 pm and they closed at 7:00. When I asked if I could put in an order and get the tires in the morning, because they were closing, the guy at the front (forgot your name sorry!!) didn't even think twice before saying, "no problem we can put them on right now". They stayed open an extra 45 mins and I got to save myself a trip back to the shop in the morning on a bad tire. Amazinf customer service. This place is ridiculous. I brought my F150 here to get an oil change and get my brakes replaced at 7am. When I arrived they had just opened and there were three other customers ahead of me. They were all checked in and then it was my turn. I spoke with the employee and told here what services I needed. I asked her if they would be able to have it completed by 1pm. She said yes. She took my name and phone number to call me when it was ready for pickup. I left my truck there and got a ride home. At 1:30pm I had not heard from them so I decided to call and check the status of my truck. The lady that answered the phone told me that the oil change was complete but that I was going to need brakes. I told her I knew that, that's one of the reasons I brought it in. I asked of they had replaced the brakes and she said no. They had not even started it. I asked why and she said because they needed my approval to do the work. I again told her that's why I brought my truck in at 7am when they first opened. She proceeded to tell me that if I wanted to get my brakes replaced it would take them around two hours to get done. I told her no. I went and picked up my truck and took it elsewhere to get the work done. Which was done in 45 minutes. I will not be coming back here and I would recommend everyone look somewhere else to get you vehicle serviced. They are in no hurry and their customer service is less than desirable. read more

Chivalry is not dead at this tire shop! I was in a real bind today when my Honda rental car decided to have its skid plate come loose. I scrambled to a nearby valvoline with my toddler in tow, they were slammed and understaffed and the wait was at least an hour; luckily the gentlemen at this tire shop next door, who had their hands full themselves, made the choice to help, and got us back on the road asap and even refused to charge us anything. I came in on a whim after I got my rental car from Eagle airport and I was staying in the Frisco area. My rental car had a malfunctioning windshield wiper fluid dispenser and I desperately needed help to fix it in the snowy conditions. I came in and explained the situation to the attendants and they were more than happy to help me out. The staff were so helpful and polite. I didn't get any sense of judgement from them at all regarding my lack of knowledge regarding the car situation. I walked to the Walmart in the same plaza for a bit and by the time I got back it was all fixed up! The attendant explained the problem to me and how they fixed it. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I have had great experiences with this company the last couple years. But on 11/14/2023 I went in to get an oil change from this facility, as I've always done, and left about an hour later with a car that I thought got its oil changed. I was charged for this oil change and told that it was done by Brandon Estrada. A month later, 12/13/2023 my car starts making odd sounds, and I'm in Denver for the day so I stop by a shop (that was not big o tires to get it checked out). Shortly after the visit they let me know I had no oil in the car which was odd because I got it changed a month ago and my oil changes last me at least 6 months. The lack of oil could've destroyed my engine therefore destroying my method of transportation, and as a low income individual this would've been detrimental to my finances. Not only that, the engine oil filter cover was also broken (maybe by its age or weathering or maybe by a mechanic that tried to pry it off but couldn't and broke it in the process aka the reason for not receiving an oil change). When I went in today 12/13/23 to get a refund and possibly some added compensation for the broken engine oil cover, and time missed of work because of this inconvenience, I was met with gaslighting from the general manager. Asking me about the broken part and "since I obviously was given the run down by a mechanic" what it was and what it does. She also stated "why would we pay for something "we broke" if we never did the oil change in the first place" which baffled me. Because why are you charging me for a service you never did and putting my cars life and potentially my life at stake. I was then refused a refund once I stated they would be hearing from me on Yelp. It is obvious to me now that I was only seen as a dollar sign to these individuals and not a human being. I hope the general manager heals all her wounds that could cause her to treat me in such a way today and I hope this company does better next time. read more

This place is one of the only tire shops in town. With so many all wheel drive vehicles in the county, they're not one to fix a tire, they're not one to sell one tire, they are wanting to sell almost everyone four tires. Whether you need it or not. I found them to be borderline rude, and although I can't prove it, on the shady side. I'm not convinced that the tire they said was mine, that could not be repaired, was mine. I'm a young girl who travels a lot, started using this company while I was in Arizona and it was awesome service with very respectful people. The people at this location definitely could be more respectful to their customers, it took two hours for a tire rotation and oil change. (Never took longer than a hour in az) I didn't ask to hurry it up or anything, until a worker asked what vehicle I was waiting on. After that they acted as if I was rushing them and they were just out right rude about it. I have a little screen in my car that shows my speedometer, that was left with fingerprints and smudges all over it by the time I got my car back. There is no reason for that to be touched. If this was my first experience with big o tires I'd never go back. Just to add to this already bad review, they have no respect for your vehicles. Went to Frisco for a girls trip. We ended up getting a flat tire in town. After utilizing the spare, we took the tire into Big O to hopefully get patched. They said a 1.5 hour wait, understandably, with it being a Saturday at 10am. My friends and I walked to a nearby restaurant and the car was done within 45 minutes and charged us $25 for the patch. Went above and beyond for me when they didn't have to. We got a screw in our tire and were heading out of town the next day. We dropped by Big O to have it repaired. Unfortunately there was additional side wall damage and were informed it could not be repaired. When we showed up to pick it up with a plan to drive to Discount Tire in Denver (because that's where we originally purchased them with a warranty)... we were surprised to find out Big O had a used tire with similar tread and the exact model of our damaged tire, which they had put on for us at no charge. Bill, who was up from Glenwood Springs shook my hand and said to enjoy the rest of the day with my family now that I don't have to worry about the tire.
