Last week I ran over a house key and it ruined my tire.  i called Big O in Gladstone in a panic, Mike was great. I texted him pictures of my tire and he would try to patch but he also made sure he had a replacement tire in stock in case it was too far gone.  He called the Big O location that I bought my tires to get the warranty information so I wouldn't have to.  My friend helped me take my tire off the car and let me drive his car to your location.  Mike had a new tire put on in 20 minutes so I could get back to work before my lunch hour was over.  He was a lifesaver and the best part of a bad day.  Very thankful for his help and kind friendly demeanor. read more

Took our truck in after hitting pothole. Tire was changed to the spare and we bought a new replacement. They then told us of additional damages that needed repaired. We do all of those types of repairs at a dealership. The dealership ended up finding lots more damage so we ended up working with our insurance. Went to put stuff in the bed of our truck yesterday and there is the spare. They didn't bother to mount it back on the bottom of the truck. Not sure in what world that is ok but certainly not in mine. read more

Longtime customer. Waited hours for a tire rotation and oil change. I thought both were done. I called after to double check and was told my tires were below the number of wear to rotate. I went somewhere else and was told my tires have over half the life still left and had them rotated. I couldn't believe it. So disappointed. I will never go back. Beware. read more

December 6,2024 took my car for an Oil change and was told my fluids would be topped off. At check out I ask if that service had been done, the answer was yes, get in my car and my low fluid light comes on so I call back and was told "we'll it was marked off on the service ticket" but it wasn't done! Simple oil change turned into a nightmare when a Big O neglected to latch my hood. Immediately leaving and shortly after getting on the highway, my windshield shattered, even damaging the cab -- I hit the guard rail as well. After calling my insurance company, I notified Big O. I've called to get information to get my car inspected and was told that there is no appointment needed to do an inspection. When I arrived, the guy at the front desk told me I needed to make an appointment to get the inspection done. Confused, I made the appointment anyways. When I came back for the appointment I was told they in fact do NOT do appointments for inspections and that I wouldn't be able to get my car in today. I am extremely annoyed by the lack of training and passing of information all around at this location. I wasted a whole day of work just trying to get my car inspected! Edit to add** We finally got the inspection done here and they had to dig through the garbage to find my vehicle inspection paperwork. I had the best service at Big O Tires. I had an oil change at Jiffy Lube in the morning and the skid guard on my car wasn't attached correctly afterwards. My skid guard came off on I-29, and the mechanics at Big O Tires identified the problem, fixed for free, and had me back on the road in less than an hour. They also topped off my oil because they found that Jiffy Lube had left it empty at least a quart. So thankful for the team here and can't wait to come back!! read more

Horrible!! Didn't complete an oil change correctly and the engine in a 2019 Honda blew. They won't return calls and their 'insurance' is a joke (they also don't return calls). Corporate, management, no one will call back! Even after pages and pages of documentation by a large Honda dealership that this was 100% their fault - they still won't take any accountability! If you no longer need an engine in your car, enjoy getting the run around, being without a vehicle for 3 weeks (and counting!)...then by all means, please go to Big O. read more

Do NOT expect good results when using Big O Tire!! Took the car in on 1/24/22 for an oil change on a 2019 Honda Insight. 2/3/22 was left stranded on the side of the 69 Hwy at 1:15 am due to no oil in the engine (resulting in two holes in the engine). After much run around with Big O Tires, car was finally towed to Honda of Tiffany Springs where the certified mechanic found that the oil drain plug was not installed properly during the oil change at Big O. Redeemed. Got a flat tire this week, filled up tire and drove straight to Big O. We did not purchase the additional warranty for these tires, but since they were 9 months old we decided to try our luck. They were pretty busy but after my hub explained situation, they advanced our vehicle, identifying the source of flat (luckily not in sidewall), repaired and got him back on the road in no time-gratis. Took my car in for a flat...I was in and out in approximately 20 - 25 mins. They also did a 22-point inspection; informed me about an issue but did not try to pressure me into service. Beware! I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. They also offered me "free" alignment check. Before I pulled in to the parking lot, I am fully aware I had at least 36 psi in all my tires. They told me I needed an alignment. I've never had any problems with my car, Polan, even when I let go of the steering wheel. When I pulled out of the parking lot after refusing this service, my car felt kind of funny, after I switched the screen back over to my tire pressures, I noticed that one side had 32 psi, and the other side had 34 psi. I immediately went back in and asked them to air my tires back up to where they belong, expressing my concerns confusion over why they Were lower than when I arrived. They later texted, asking about my service, and when my I expressed my concern over what had happened, they had no answer, as to if this is normal procedure. I'm very confused as to why they let air out of my tires! I know, for a fact what was in them, but they wanna treat me like a stupid woman. Stay away from these shysters. read more

I'd just finished loading up my truck and getting ready to go get my boat out of storage when I noticed a screw in my left rear drive tire. I started to remove it and could hear air leaking, so I screwed it back in and began calling around to find someone who could remove the screw, patch and plug it. Everyone else needed my vehicle for the day which was not an option. I called up Big O and the girl who answered the phone was super friendly and helpful. She told me that they could get me in and out in an hour to hour and a half. She went ahead and took my information. As soon as I got there, they promptly took my keys, pulled my truck in and got to work. Less than an hour later, I was on my way. I feel like they went above and beyond to help me out and I was so grateful. I would definitely bring my vehicle back for future service and will gladly tell my friends and neighbors of how helpful they all were! read more

I bought a tire 2 months ago with the 3 year protection plan and in bold letters it states if any thing goes wrong they replace the tire for free plus my warranty covers lifetime mount and balance. The insist on trying to repair my tire first yet I want a new tire that states in contract. They told me if they cant patch it then they will give me a new tire but I would have to pay for mount and balance. Very disappointed! They lost my buisness read more

We attempted to have our car inspected at Big O Tires. It was failed stating the power steering lines were both leaking and there was no fluid in the power steering reservoir. I was quoted over 300 dollars to correct this and my inspection was failed. I decided to take the vehicle to a more reputable shop in town. Both power steering lines were intact and there was fluid still in the reservoir. It passed inspection at the other shop but needed a new gasket due to oil leaking that they discovered and repaired in about an hour. The mechanics at Big O Tires are either incompetent or corrupt. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Recently went in to Big O Tires for a standard oil change. They told me it would take about an hour, no big deal. Went out to eat, came back and my vehicle hadn't even been pulled into the shop. Couple hours later it's finally done. Not only was my oil cap not screwed on they left oil all over my hood and door handle, unacceptable! Wear gloves! Be courtesy of other people's vehicles! We were traveling and had a tire go down. I found Big O on line and was there 10 min before they opened. I was the 3rd person in line, one person was a tire change to her spare, second was someone who blew out their tire, then me. It took them almost 2 hours to get my tire patched. I believe it is due to poor scheduling because they said they only had one tire tech until 10. It still took them 45 min once my car was in the shop. I guess I'm spoiled by the good service I get at my local tire shop where I live. Also during Covid the tech didn't wear gloves while driving my car when he pulled it around when he was done. Went for an oil change, they were running a special and I thought I would give them a try. After getting all information and giving him keys I was told an hour. I went to lunch came back my car had not moved. Myself and another gentleman were in the waiting room watching guys stand around in the shop . After 50 min with no movement on my car, I had to reach out to the manager to ask him if my car was going to be done in the hour time frame.(knowing full well that wasn't possible) Where as he should have come to me and updated me on the non progress. The other gentleman looked at me and said these guys are goofing off in here, take your car to Valvoline. I told him I usually do, but was gonna try out the special and give Big O tire a shot. Then I left! I would not recommend or go back ever! In fact as of now I will do my best to tell everyone I know to avoid this place. Didn't even try or care for keeping me there or happy. I went in to get an oil change and to get my tires rotated and Balanced. the gentleman at the counter was very polite and was able to look up the manufacturers required service and recommended service for my vehicle. After about half-an-hour, one of the guys from the shop came out and gave me an update on my car and then another half hour later I was on my way. I was impressed that I was not pushed to buy any products or Services other than what I wanted or needed. Also I'm glad that my service took a lot less time than it does at the dealership, and I still get the services that I need. I've had 2 trucks taken there in the last month.. 1st my 18 old daughter takes her truck in to have a battery cable replace...i personally spoke with Travis store manager and told him to replace the cable...she was told the side post on the battery was bad...(sold her a battery $132, $25 to install, put a replacement termanal on for $62.50.... $240.38 total.)...which I had previously stripped for a temp fix to get her to town....No new cable was installed...in which the battery they kept was a Wal-Mart battery with a 5 year replacement... Travis could not accept his mistake... Next truck I take my f250 in for new tires...i say probably need a ball joint also...agree $900ish for tires and alignment...travis calls next morning...saying 4 ball joints and an outer tierod end...$2900ish total...i said ok.... i called afternoon to see where they were at...Travis said well the broke a part of the and and are running salvage yards to find the piece...What?.... Travis said they ordered a new piece and it would be in Sat.(this was Thursday)...He called back later and said to be at the store 630 645 the truck would be ready......my wife and daughter go to pick up the truck...not ready...they finally get the truck at 830 845pm...abs light comes on on the way home(it was a fluke)... I come to get my truck from home I needed to haul some ties...on my way to job..grinding out of the right front...drop trailer and called the store to bring it back...the seal they were rushing to get in the night before wouldn't stay in..i leave the truck...i go back to pick it up Sunday afternoon... Mike weekend manager was in...said the truck is ready...i asked about the piece if it were installed...no it won't be here til Tuesday..i tell Mike my issues since Big O took over...that Sat is when I noticed my daughter's truck... I have also notice and call and talked to Steven when doing my tires they forgot to put a center cap back on.... I got an oil change and a diagnostic test run on my car at this location because my car was shifting hard sometimes. They told me that 2 of my engine mounts were moving more than they should and that I had transmission fluid leaking. The engine mounts would have cost me $500-$600 to get fixed. I was told to take it to a transmission shop, which I did the same day. That shop told me that my engine mounts looked fine and that there was engine oil leaking from a gasket, not transmission fluid. I was then referred by them to another shop that could fix my gasket. I went there, also the same day, and had him look at it. He agreed completely with the transmission shop about where the leak was coming from and told me it wasn't a big deal and to just get it fixed at my next oil change and that he could do it for $130. When I told him I had just gotten my oil changed that morning, he was quite surprised because he said my oil filter looked like it had been on there for quite a while. I called Big O' Tire the next morning and the manager was very polite when I told him that the information they had given me was incorrect and my filter did not look like it had been changed, but he simply told me that the things that were said were his mechanic's opinion and he had no reason to recheck his work and that they change the oil filters on every oil change. While I respect that he was standing up for his employee, I was not offered any solutions or refunds for the diagnostic test that was completely wrong. I cannot say whether the wrong results were simply a mistake or if they thought they could get me to fix something unnecessarily because I am a younger girl, but I did expect more of an apology than what I received. read more

I took my 2017 Cadillac CTS to this Big O tire yesterday. I purposely made an appointment so that there would be plenty of time and the technicians wouldn't feel rushed. I left the car as well. I treat my car carefully and I am very meticulous when it comes to upkeep. I was concerned that this place would put on my new tires properly without damaging the wheels, but I decided to give them a chance. I did get a great price for the tires. To my disappointment all 4 of my wheels, including one that I had just purchased where nicked and damaged during installation. ALL 4! To me this show complete disregard for customer care and satisfaction. The wheels on my Cadillac are painted aluminum and all four where scraped in multiple spots. Additionally 2 had large gouges in them. While this damage is mostly cosmetic, it is very telling that the technician who did the work cared little about the quality of his work, or concern for the customer. Additionally I asked to save one tire and have it put in my trunk. There are scratch marks on the rear area where the tire was dragged into the trunk If this little care was taken installing the tires, I cringe thinking about what damage may have been caused by the way it was lifted. I will be taking my car to a dealership to inspect for any other damage that may have occurred. Please tell your locations that if they can't properly install tires on a particulate car, tell the customer to go somewhere that can. Not everyone treats their vehicles like a fleet work truck. read more

Went there for an inspection. It failed because of some obscure part that they said was warn down. When I asked to see the part, they reluctantly showed me. When I told them it didn't look bad to me, they exploited my obvious lack of experience, chuckled, like I was an idiot for not knowing what they were talking about, and came back with a "it may not look bad, but it's bad. You won't pass inspection. It's dangerous." They then quoted me for a $1,200 repair. I skipped the repair, took it Northtown autoclinic, and it passed inspection without a problem. I'd recommend Northtown or BRAD'S, this place will put you through a colossal waste of time and then feel no remorse about pushing a ridiculously priced job on your vehicle that you don't need. read more

Got an alignment 10 days later it is completely out of alignment, Big O claimed that it was because a new control arm was installed and they remember how it was 10 days ago. The control arm had already been replaced prior to the alignment thus why it needed an alignment. After getting home, after being told that I would need to pay for another alignment, the manager called and offered to do it for free(what should have happened while I was there). I however am not going to let them touch it again, since this isn't the first issue I have had with them and their total lack of customer service. read more

I would not recommend this location to anyone. I called on a Friday evening, spoke with Steven. Steven setup an appointment for me the next morning, took down all of my information and assured me I would have tires put on the car the next Saturday. He said the tires were in stock. He said they opened at 7, he would be there by 8, and I could drop the car off. I come into the store this morning, Saturday, 9/15/18, and the manager tells me that the tires are not in stock. Steven conveniently wiped all of my information from the computer, then lied and said I had never spoken with him. Acted like I made up the whole ordeal. Horrible customer service, horrible experience, their employee straight up lied to cover his own butt. I"ll be speaking with corporate. I tried giving them 0 stars but the site said I have to at least give one. read more
