Went there mainly to have an oil change, and my tires rotated,as I noticed the front tires were worn more than the rear. When I went back to pick it up and pay, he said I had an oil change and tire rotation. When I went out to my truck, I noticed the tires hadn't been rotated. I went back in to complain, and the clerk got the manager, who told me my 2004 truck was too old, tire rotation wasn't recommended. I was shocked to learn this as I have been driving over 50 years. He finally agreed to rotate the tires ,but I watched the kid do it and he just swapped them out on the same side. Never go back there, and advise others to avoid them as well read more

We began with tires, sure, but the convenience of getting everything done at one time caused us to try oil changes, then any other service work we needed. We have not been sorry! Our most recent visit was for (Honda's) my service indicator, which included transmission flush and fill. The tech checked to be sure it was necessary before doing the work, the work was reasonably priced and completed quickly, AND We got new tires, too, saving a trip later this fall. Today I realized my car battery was losing power and I needed to replace it sooner than later. I called the Big O Tire shop on Crismon Rd., near E. Baseline, to get an appointment. James told me to bring it right in. I did, and within an hour I was out of the shop with a new battery, and no hassle. I appreciate the quick, friendly service, and the fact that these guys have helped me out in the past when I have needed a quick tire air pressure check. Took my car there to have the front tires replaced. The old tires were worn evenly to just above legal limits so I did not opt for an alignment. After the tires were mounted I had to leave for a 3000 mile trip. During this trip I noticed that the horizontal portion of my steering wheel was tilted about 5 degrees when driving straight, indicating that now something was wrong with the alignment. I found that very peculiar as this was not the case when I still had the old tires. When I brought the car back after the trip the sales person had all kinds of reasons why the alignment changed to faulty after putting on the new tires - non of which made any sense to a clear thinking individual as (presuming nobody had fooled with any of the alignment setting during installation) it only takes a few lug nuts to take the tire off and then put the new tire on. During this process no change of alignment should have occurred as I had it done many times before with other outfits. I had to pay for a new alignment to get the error corrected! So what happened? I don't know. The process, however, left a bad taste in my mouth and indicated to me that, at best, these guys didn't not know what they were doing! And at worst? - I don't even want to imagine what could have happened. Another indicator of poor workmanship was that the tire pressure light came on after I left the shop the day of the alignment. Pressure between the four tires varied significantly which triggered the light. To my surprise, I was told after the pressures were equalized by the shop, to drive the car for several miles and the light would then turn off automatically. Fools!!! This is clearly not the case. There is button in the glove compartment which, when pressed, turns off the light immediately. Should not a tire shop know about these things. I will seek a different company in the future and can only recommend the same to anybody else !!!!! read more

I had a very poor experience at this store and I want to warn my fellow motorists about their unethical business practices. I've had my cars serviced at this, and other Big O tire locations, over the years. I have always been offered the basic semi-synthetic oil change and didn't think to get a specific quote. My service was written up by a new employee, who was most cheerful. There were no questions, or details offered, and my keys were handed over. An hour latter, the car was finished and the invoice was presented. I was horrified to find the employee selected a full-synthetic oil change (VERY expensive) which I HAD NOT AUTHORIZED. All I've ever ordered, or specified for my car, is a cheaper synthetic blend. I expressed my disagreement with the staff on this discrepancy, but they refused to make any accommodations. My bad that i didn't get an explicit quote, but I used to have relative trust in this organization I really would not recommend this Big O Tire store. The staff is not very professional and I certainly wont be going there again. :( Actual rating is 0 stars. ------------------ Separately, and perhaps more importantly, is the abysmal quality of the 'store brand' tires. Sincerely, these tires (in my case, Aspen), are just so low-quality, that i recommend you run, not walk away from them. I drive about 70k miles a year and it was puncture after puncture with these tires, as well as terrible tread wear. I finally decided no more, and opted for a full set of Michelin tires at Costco and have had ZERO problems. read more

Weird. Anywho, then he goes on about how we could squeeze me in, might be about 3 1/2 to 4 hours before my car is even in. Lmao. I have been to this location for oil changes only. At my last oil change they recommended over $300 worth of work including my serpentine belt and rear right shock absorber. I declined repairs and took it to a mechanic I've gone to for many many years. He proceeded to tell me that neither of those things needed replaced. There was no crack in the serpentine belt and the shocks were fine. Needless to say I'm very frustrated that Big O Tires / Crismon would recommend over $300 worth of work that wasn't needed. So, either someone has been out right dishonest or they are recommending unnecessary work. I called the store and talked to the manager named Brad. I wanted the contact email of the owner but he refused to give it to me. He claimed he didn't have it. He wanted me to come in so he could "explain" it to me. I don't have time to just come in. I will never take my car back to them. I don't know if it's just one particular tech or the entire business but somethings not right here. I don't know if the owner is aware of what's going on. Either the staff is just not paying attention and negligent or they're dishonest. Either way, I wouldn't trust your car repairs to them. I realize mistakes happen but given that NONE of the recommenced repairs were needed I am skeptical of that. I would have given the owner the benefit of the doubt. It would be smart of them to setup an email so they know what is going on in their business. However, since there is no way for me to contact them other than leaving a negative review here it is. I would like to leave a 5 star review like I did two years ago, but I cannot since the ownership has changed at this location.There is no accountability and zero recourse for complaints. The previous owner on the other hand had zero problem with identifying himself as the owner and personally thanking his customers/ or handling complaints. I'm having trouble understanding why such a huge enterprise wouldn't have a more sound structure in place to handle such situations. Is it because this is a franchise location? Not only did the two Big o locations owned by this person or persons refuse to provide any information regarding who to contact with a complaint the Queen Creek locations manager Blade thought it was appropriate to call back from a big o phone number and verbally assault and threaten. "You can come to any of my Big O locations and ring the dinner bell and I'll be there." Blade you've rung that dinner bell plenty. My car has been serviced by the Big O on South Crismon rd for several years and I felt grateful as a female to have trust in the team who worked on my vehicle. I cannot state the same for the last two times my vehicle was serviced for an oil change. The first was on Friday March 6 2020. According to management there is no record of my vehicle being serviced for an oil change which was shorted 2 quarts or half the oil my car requires. Although Steve (the manager) may not have provided me with an invoice, because he didn't charge me, I do have confirmation text messages that prove it. When brought to the attention of the complaint department/owner/management I was told by Steve that the complaint was "shut down" See Steve and I have a past and he made up some story to save his own rear-end. I only found out the oil was short from the transmission shop that replaced my clutch. Which I also have proof of. Fast forward to my next oil change. Well I went to a completely different place. No problems no documentation of any oil leak etc. oh and I have an invoice! September 14, 2020. My car goes back to Big O on Crismon for an oil change and tire rotation. I have an invoice. This time almost immediately after the oil change my car begins leaking oil everywhere I go. On my driveway, my parking spot at work etc. so I keep an eye on levels until the next time for a change. By now I have found a reputable technician to handle service for my vehicle. Upon arrival I notify the technician about the oil leak. He immediately puts the car on the lift. The entire undercarriage of the car is covered in oil. He goes to check the oil filter and it falls off in his hand. What's a girl to do? I called and filed another complaint with the big O corporation. Only to find out instead of attempting to contact me so that I may provide proof and documentation, Big O owner replies with the car was never serviced at our location and to close the complaint!!??? Huh? Maybe this will get your attention. I hear they call you Rams? If I could attach proof and screen shots I would. The moral of the story is beware I am not the only person who this has happened to and if I am I clearly was singled out and it was purposefully done. Zero professionalism. read more

Rudeness, not keeping times when called prior to showing up, and sitting for an hour after appointment time that I scheduled 2 weeks ahead of time and then them telling me it would not be done before I needed to be somewhere else, reason I scheduled 2 weeks earlier. I had a great experience today with Big O Tires after a frustrating experience with Fletchers (trying and failing to get an oil change in a timely manner and conflicting information from different representatives). I emailed Big O and they emailed me back the same morning. I drove over after work and they were not busy (Thursday before noon). Tim and his team member provided excellent customer service and had my oil change and tire rotation done in no time. They accepted my coupon printed from their website no problem. I asked the Crismon store to check my car's alignment because even though it drove okay, it felt as if the toe-in was slightly off. I sat in the waiting room for 2 hours before they finally put my car on the racks. Then I waited another hour. How long should it take to check alignment? Then they told me it was done, they had adjusted the alignment, I paid them their $119, and TRIED to drive away. The car was now unsafe to drive. They did something to it that caused it to violently lurch to the side every 20 seconds. It had never done that before. I had only gone 2 blocks, so I drove right back and told them that the car was now unsafe to drive. They asked me what I wanted them to do about it. I asked them to just return the castor/camber or toe-in/out settings to whatever they were before they started messing with my car. They refused, said they couldn't do it, refused to give me refund, I said that was unacceptable. Between the mechanic and the manager, there was a lot of shouting and hostility and then I was told they were done with talking to me and they ordered me out of the store. Later, I read reviews by other customers who were treated similarly, with allegations of cars being damaged in order to generate extra repairs. I wish I had read them sooner. I stopped going there after buying four new tires. I asked them to please stick to the existing/dealer recommended sizing. They said no problem and said they were in stock. They called me a few hours later to say it was ready. When we showed up I noticed on the invoice the sizes were not what we agreed to. I originally went for an oil change and told the guy helping me that day that my check engine light was on and to see if he could simply check it. As a first time customer they do a few free checks in which I told him I wanted. I was then told that I needed a lot of work on my car and got suckered into their deal of buy two services get the third free, assuming they were fixing my check engine light problem. After Spending $600+ Not even a month later my check engine light came back on! I went back in to ask why, and they told me they NEVER did a diagnostic test and that it would be $135 just to run that test(when we all know autozone and discount tire do that for free)... I brought my truck in for an oil change, new spare and tire rotation. They charged me for 21 quarts of oil and my truck takes 12. When i went to pick up my truck i noticed the tires had not been rotated. I ask the guy at the counter what happened he offered to get it back in. then one of the other guys said they don't do tire rotations on dually, this is new to me because they had done it in the past for me for the last 2 years. The guy at the counter also charged me for tire disposal fee but threw the tire in the bed of my truck. I just moved to the neighborhood and got a welcome package in the mail. it was soo nice it has all kinds of things in one of which was a free oil change at Big O tire. the only thing was you have to go to 2 locations crimson and the 60 or power and baseline. So I called and them to make sure before I went up there to see if I need to make an appointment. they said no just bring the coupon in. So I take off work drive to crimson and the 60 and get told oh we don't take them anymore. When I asked why he said the new management. I stopped by this Big O Tire store this morning to drop off a trailer tire that needed to be repaired, it had 3 nails in it. I stopped back later in the day and was told this...I tried to call you to tell you about the tire you dropped off for repair, it isn't a Vanguard (their brand) It's a Goodyear tire, I said I know what's the problem, he said it has 3 nails and can't be repaired but we have a new tire we can put on it. Monday morning, I stopped by Big O at 7:40 a.m. I told the guy I needed an oil change & 4 new tires, and they had to be finished by 9:00 a.m. because I needed to be downtown by 10:00 a.m. At 8:45 a.m. they had completed the oil change and installed 4 new tires. Came in couple months ago to get an alignment on my pickup and they told me I had to replace all my steering linkage, bushings, and ball joints for them to align it. And they told me I needed shocks (which is a lie lol) but I left and replaced all they stuff they told me and I even added shocks for them too! So I go back in to get the alignment done and they tell me they can't do the alignment. That's it's not just not possible because it's SLIGHTLY lowered and they can't get it on the rack. But they just had it up a couple months ago??? Lol just another Big O location that I've written off as a joke. read more
